Mike did a great job taking care of us at tonight. The food was great, and service was superb! They were busy with a large crowd, but Mike kept us informed. We will definitely go back to visit again and bring friends next time.

Christina is an awesome GM. For everyone complaining about the lighting. It’s fine and I don’t see how it’s dark? The food and staff was on point. One of my go to restaurants here in Plainview. Susan is a great waitress. Super nice and professional. 12/10 :)

Place was referred to us by a friend. It did not disappoint! Tried the famous deep fried bacon and the fried mushrooms. The mushrooms were huge!! Awsome on both. I had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Home cooked. One of the best I ever had. The staff was super friendly! I highly recommend if your in the area.

We ate at the Cotton Patch restaurant in Plainview on July 11, 2023. We were surprised to find that it is actually in a strip center rather than a freestanding building like the others we had seen before. We were seated quickly and the service was good throughout the entire meal. I had the lemon herb grilled salmon, which was very tasty, and my husband had the Dr. Pepper jalapeno bacon burger, which he thought was delicious. Although we went at lunchtime, the restaurant wasn't terribly busy, but it wasn't deserted either. If we make it back to Plainview, we definitely wouldn't mind going back.

The Cotton Patch is an awesome local restaurant. My wife and I have eaten here several times over the years and never been disappointed. We started with the mushroom appetizer, a huge and extremely tasty portion. The meat loaf I had today was very traditional and covered in tomato sauce made with real tomatoes (not a ketchup type sauce). My wife had the beef tips, also awesome in a homemade gravy topped with a side of very yummy mushrooms.

Overall, I had a great experience, but I have just one complaint. The portion sizes for the sides are small. In particular, for the mashed potatoes and macaroni n' cheese. It looks like they're scooped with an ice cream scooper. The fact that I paid $15 before tax makes me feel I should get value and have something to take home. Well, thankfully, I didn't have to be discontent about this. The manager frequently makes rounds to tables and made it right with me. My waitress was very friendly and the atmosphere is very rustic and welcoming. This is key, if your family is hankering for a home cooked meal and you don't feel like cooking it, then this is a pretty good place to go to. 4/5 stars since they are still going to serve small side portion sizes when you come in with the high price. $3.29 is outrageous for a drink. 4/5 stars for great service and food quality, which is why it's not 3 stars or less.

We've been to other locations of this restaurant chain and they were better. Not very many customers in the restaurant for a Saturday night. Service was a lil slow, food wasn't bad , but just kinda average.

Cotton patch used to be one of the best places in town to eat but now the portion sizes have changed so dramatically from what they used to be and you would think that because the food got smaller the price would too but no for instance if you like chicken tenders the large order is 4 that come out looking like chicken nuggets. I don't plan on going back to break the bank over tiny amounts of food.

Didn’t know how I wanted to word this but I’m am beyond upset this isn’t the first second or third time we have had issues with the restaurant but this one really pushed it for me. We ordered our cornbread as soon as we got her told it would take 25 minutes we were okay with that but we got it in a to go box 45 mins Later. One of our drinks was to be a unsweetened tea as you can see they started to pour strawberry lemonade into the glass just poured it out and put the tea. My daughters burger was under cooked when we got the new one we realized it was only half a patty, (which we were told that is the way it comes for kids) 🤦‍♀️. After complaining the manager took care of our bill (which we had no issue taking care of) I’m just beyond flabbergasted they did offer a free dessert. Management was stellar
