There’s something special about this little restaurant — it just feels warm and welcoming. You can immediately feel the good vibe from the staff, who are genuinely focused on taking care of you. We decided to go last night after the game. It was packed, and we thought we might not get a table. But as soon as we told them we were a party of six, they quickly cleaned a table and sat us down. They took our drink orders right away and handed us menus. The food took a bit to arrive, but that was totally understandable — the place was full. One dish was missing, and the manager came over to ask if everything was okay. We told her about the missing plate, and in less than five minutes, she came back with it. She handled it kindly and efficiently. The entire staff was super friendly. Bonus points for the Mango Chamoy Margarita — absolutely amazing!
Friendly casual atmosphere with great Mexican food. I love their Pasole, rich delicious red chile with pork and hominy, top it off with cabbage, radish and lime! Taste so good. My husband loves their combo plates of tacos and enchiladas. But this night it was really cold and he had the chili con carne. Their drinks and the service are good.
This is HANDS DOWN, my very favorite mexican restaurant in all of Temple! The staff is friendly, the atmosphere welcoming and the food is to die for! I've ordered several different menu items and haven't had a complaint yet! Real mexican food here for real!!!
Very good food, drinks, and the service is very good and the workers are always so kind.if I could I would give the 10 ⭐️
This is a hidden gem! The food was fresh, flavorful, and affordable. The service was friendly, the atmosphere welcoming, and we can’t wait to come back!
We found one of the best breakfast options of Menudo at one of our Mexican restaurants that we like to visit. This is always a very Large bowl 🥣 of Menudo and it is Delicious 😋. Sol De Jalisco #3 is an amazing place and takes Pride in there Menudo and most of their menu items. 👍👍👍👍👍👍We will always come here for our Menudo. Enjoy the Atmosphere and the waitresses and waiters. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
My favorite place in Temple. They have a nice little bar with the best bartender! I love their food. I get breakfast burritos in the drive through often and dining in is always great too. I got the rosemary chicken meal to go tonight and it is the most delicious thing I've had in a long time. 😋
Food here is really good. I love the drinks and the service is great. It's not my favorite "Mexican bar and grill" but it's in the top 5 for sure. I'd say the one element that could be improved would probably be the food. But thats if I have to pick something. It's not bad by any means. A unique flavor from most similar resteraunts
This was a good restaurant. I enjoyed the food and the portions were healthy. I also like that i did not get strange shocked expressions when i stated that I didn't want tortillas with my fajitas. It wasn't too loud or too busy.
Everyone was so nice! My Chile Relleno was burnt. They tried to cover it with cheese and sauce but I still noticed. Still staff was great. Clean bathroom.
The line moved a bit slow, I waited in line for about 10 minutes. I went at 8:20am, so I was mingling with the breakfast crowd at the end of West Adams. However, the food tasted fresh, so waiting for the food to be made was understandable. I paid $10.80 for two breakfast burritos, so the price is a tad bit more expensive than some places that I've been, but the burritos were a good size (pics added). This was my first visit here, but they were friendly and that's always a plus. So, given the food, and the service, I wouldn't mind going back.
The people are nice and the price is ok. The chicken enchiladas with sour cream topping don’t have much taste. The food is not bad but it’s not that flavorful! I also don’t like the fact if you eat in the restaurant you can eat unlimited chips and salsa for free but if you get your food to go you have to pay to get any chips and salsa.
The customer service was good. No complaints about service. Couple of reasons Im leaving a 2 star rating. I ordered a lemonade ina to go cup. While waiting I noticed they were making the lemonade on the ground right next to the mop and cleaning supplies. The second thing was the mens restroom. Wasn't really that clean. Smelled pretty gross. The last thing is the food was very bland no real flavor. I ordered the spinach enchiladas. Was filled with spinach and covered with cheese. No type of sauce of seasoning what so ever. I love Mexican food. There are multiple other Mexican restaurants I would definitely recommend some of the other ones. Ill try back in a few months to see if anything is different
Food is always good, this is SOLEY for the drive-thru/cashier young ladies working there. They always get orders incorrect and have the worst attitude when dealing with customers. They need to be retrained or replaced entirely. The older ladies that run the same position never mess up and are always happy to help customers. Management need to talk to the younger ladies working the counter and let them know they are in the wrong field.
Chicken was raw in the middle. Veggie plate looked microwaved and scooped on a cold skillet. Never ever going to any of them again.
Did a Uber Eats from here and couldn’t even eat it. I ordered chicken quesadillas, but got beef. The beef was chewy and SO gross. Threw it away after a few bites. And the sopapillas I ordered were 4 super tiny triangles. The worst Mexican food I’ve had in 40 years. Maybe it was a bad night, but I’ll never bring myself to order from here again. 🤢 EDIT: added a photo of the order and restaurant
Wife and I got our drink order taken, finished our drinks and had a nice bowl of chips and salsa. They apparently didnt like us or something, after 30 minutes of awkward eye contact trying to get them to take our order, they'd already fed people that came in way after us. Good Dr. Pepper i guess lol
I typically come here when in town. Horrible experience, the couple of times I have been here. The server got my order wrong & forgot multiple little things we asked for. The food really wasn't even that good. Will not be coming to this location again. The other location in Belton is better & worth the drive from Temple.
I stopped eating food from here a year ago because I found a bandage in my food. The manager I spoke to at the time handled my concerns poorly and was condescending. Today my husband bought 2 Chicken chimichangas from here and what are the odds? A 5" long peice of plastic was cooked into one of the chimichangas. The staff responded in a passive aggressive tone when politely asked to replace the order because we weren't told over the phone that we needed to "bring the plate for proof". Anyways, I'm adding the proof to this review. I shouldn't have given this place another try, especially after I was gaslit by the manager the first time when she told me the bandaid was bacon packaging. Lesson learned and food poisoning avoided.
