The old timie vibe is great at 115. I was told it was a bank. Great art work and pictures. Food was as requested. One little mix up with the server. He brought in our starters at the same time as our main course. But either way great experience.
This was my brothers and I first time at Prime 115, none of us heard if it. But, we decided to give it a go for lunch. The ambience of Prime 115, is of a high class type restaurant. We were promptly greeted by two of the sweetest, most warm welcoming, politest, with very nice smiles, young ladies Ms. Cat, hostess, and Ms. Stephanie, waitress. Ms. Cat led us to a booth and us feel very comfortable. Prime 115, is very elegant, neat, very clean and well organized established restaurant and especially quiet. To our surprise this restaurant has two floors upstairs and main floor with an elevator to assist customers who may not be able to climb stairs. Ms. Stephanie, our waitress promptly served us water, and never rushed to place our orders. She gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. Ms. Stephanie, was truly awesome as she had several tables to attend to and she made each of her customers feel as they were highest priority. We ordered the button mushrooms, as an appetizer thinking that they were going to be fried mushrooms. (apologies I forgot to take a picture.) The button mushrooms were baptized in Worcestershire (we called it worsesister)sauce with butter, for $12.00. To our surprise they were really good, albeit just a tad bit too salty. After we finished our appetizer Ms. Stephanie, promptly arrived to take our order for our main meal. Our eldest brother ordered the prime steak sandwich lunch which consisted of sliced tenderloin on a grilled sourdough, gargonzola, marinated tomatoes, onions, lettuce, and garlic aioli, with a side of their homemade potato chips for $19.00. The potato chip were well seasoned, crispy perfection very tasty. The prime steak sandwich, was well seasoned, cooked to perfection, very tasty all the trimmings worked well with the sandwich. My youngest brother and I both opted to order the prime burger lunch which consisted of an 8oz wagyu patty, sharp cheddar, house berger sauce, lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles, with a side of their homemade potato chips, for $19.00. Our hamburgers were well cooked, seasoned perfectly, very tasty and the trimming of our burgers went well with our burgers. As stated previously the homemade chips were perfectly seasoned, and crispy. As I saw it was our first time the6snd overall our experience was very pleasant. I hope you drop on in come say hello to Ms. Cat, and Ms. Stephanie stay for lunch or dinner whatever tickles your fancy.
Visiting from out of town, my brother-in-law took us to Prime 115, and the whole experience was just top-notch. From the moment we walked in, the hospitality was different in the best way. The general manager was welcoming, and another gentleman who knows my brother-in-law Carlton went out of his way to make us feel taken care of. But our server, Marcella, was the star of the night. She was the kind of professional you don’t come across often anymore. Calm, confident, completely in control of her tables. She explained the menu like she’d written it herself, offered suggestions that were actually helpful, and checked in at the perfect times. You could tell she genuinely enjoys what she does because it shows in how she treats people. Nothing ever felt rushed, nothing ever felt forgotten. She made the whole experience feel smooth and effortless. Restaurants can have great food, but service like hers is what actually makes a night memorable. Even the woman taking care of the water was impressive. She noticed everything. You take one sip, and somehow your glass is full again. Little details like that tell you how seriously this place takes service. Now, the food—my steak was honestly one of the best I’ve had in 58 years of being picky about steaks. Perfect flavor, perfect temperature, and for the first time in I don’t know how long, I didn’t even think to ask for steak sauce. It didn’t need anything. The shrimp was excellent as well. My wife had the chicken piccata, and it was phenomenal. This place made our trip to Waxahachie even better. If you’re visiting the area, don’t miss Prime 115. It’s worth every minute and every bite.
🥂 An Excellent Day of Celebration 🥂 This review is well-earned. After a long hiatus from posting, I had to share the outstanding experience we had celebrating my father's 80th birthday. While the second-floor elevator was a helpful amenity, the staircase adds a lovely touch of elegance. 🌟 A True Gem in Waxahachie: Prime 115 is Excellence on a Plate! 🌟 If you are looking for a fine dining experience that truly elevates the Waxahachie culinary scene, look no further than Prime 115. This is not just dinner; it’s an event, from the moment you step inside the elegant, intimate space. The Meal: Perfectly Executed The menu is a sophisticated blend of classic steakhouse fare and innovative, refined dishes. The Main Event: Steak - As expected from a premier steakhouse, the steaks are incredible. I highly recommend the Delmonico Ribeye. Cooked to a flawless medium-rare, the cut was beautifully marbled and incredibly tender, seasoned perfectly to let the quality of the beef shine. Side Dish Highlight: Truffle Mac & Cheese - A decadent side that steals the show! Rich, creamy, and permeated with the luxurious aroma of black truffle butter. It's the ultimate comfort food, refined. Atmosphere & Service. The ambiance is fantastic—elegant decor with beautiful lighting creates a cozy, yet upscale environment, perfect for a special date night or celebrating a milestone. Bottom Line: Prime 115 delivers on its promise of top-shelf food and a slower, more sophisticated pace of dining. It’s an essential destination for anyone seeking high-quality cuisine in the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex. The staff attention was impeccable, highlighted by a personal visit from the General Manager personally came out to our table to ensure we were well taken care of, which was a wonderful touch. Five stars—A Definitive "Must Dine Here." Have you already tried Prime 115? If so, what was your favorite dish?
We had a large party of 12 here for my FIL's birthday for brunch and everyone enjoyed their food. Every dish, the steaks, burger, salad, French toast, chicken and waffles, macaroni, asparagus, & potatoes were all delicious. My husband's filet was the best he's ever had it made(medium well) and we eat at a lot of higher end steak restaurants. Both the chocolate cake and cheese cake were perfect for dessert. We can't wait to come back for dinner some time soon. The service from Connor was top notch and he was very attentive for our large party.
I was so impressed. The food is absolutely phenomenal — perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and clearly crafted by people who care. The service is every bit as good — Dennis, the manager, runs an outstanding team. Every interaction feels genuine. Even the to-go boxes are hand-labeled with the dish and date — that kind of attention to detail says it all. I’ve eaten at some of the best restaurants in Vegas, New York, and LA, and I’m telling you — the steak here ranks right up there with them. I now have standing reservations every single Saturday night. It’s that good. Completely worth the trip. Go out of your way to come here.
Stopped in for the 16 oz. grilled strip with a side of mushrooms, and had a couple glasses of cabernet. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium doneness, and the mushrooms were a great addition. I've been in the Dallas area for about a week, and this was by far the best meal I've had. The atmosphere was great. I was dining alone, so I sat at the bar. My server was polite and attentive, which made for a smooth experience. On the first and second floors, I saw they had many tables that would be perfect for dinner with a date. Overall, the combination of great food, excellent service, and a lovely atmosphere makes Prime 115 a winner. They're located in Waxahachie, just a short drive from Dallas, and the small-town feel really adds to the whole experience.
I do have to say from beginning to end the experience was phenomenal ambience set perfectly, which made good night more enjoyable. I had a reservation set and my fiancé and myself showed up at that time it was set for our orders were taken in a timely manner. The drinks were made to perfection and the bartender took a special note to make things perfect. chef took things very personal and made some amazing appetizers for us that preset the move for a perfect entrée everything was made perfectly. The overall experience was second to none. I will be taking my family back to Prime 115 in the near future. I really appreciate the staff especially the Chef . Thank you for everything.
An Unforgettable Evening of Game & Whiskey Pairings Prime 115 absolutely blew us away with their Wild Game Dinner & Whiskey Tasting! Every course was fresh, flavorful, and paired so thoughtfully with whiskey that you could taste how perfectly they complemented each other. The evening started with a crispy fried quail paired with Pops blended Canadian Whiskey — light, juicy, a slight kick of heat balanced with just the right touch of smoky sweetness. Then came a mini duck confit taco with Gran Maizal, which was tender, rich, and brightened with citrus and pickled radish. It was perfectly balanced by Gran Maizal’s toasty corn sweetness and spice. The venison pappardelle with Amrut Fusion was hearty, comforting, and paired so beautifully that each bite melted into the next sip. The whiskey essentially lifted and deepened the flavors at the same time. Then came the showstopper—a medium-rare elk loin served with grilled rib bone, roasted carrots, and a blackberry gastrique. The elk was tender, flavorful, and cooked to absolute perfection. Paired with Baller American Single Malt, the whiskey’s dry, crisp style cut through the richness of the meat, while its subtle smoky and umami notes played beautifully against the sweetness of the blackberry. The result was an elevated harmony of flavors—refined, balanced, and unforgettable. To end, the warm date cake was made from scratch at the restaurant with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and butterscotch sauce paired with Bladnoch. It was the perfect finishing touch. Sweet, smooth, and elegant, it wrapped up the night flawlessly. On top of the food, the ambiance was incredible. A live singer performing Frank Sinatra classics gave the evening such a warm, nostalgic, and upscale feel. We’ve always loved Prime 115 for their regular menu, but this event was truly next level. It’s one of those dinners that leaves you thinking about it long after—and we’ve already signed up for the next one! And we can’t wait. Thank you Prime 115 for always providing the most upscale, top of the notch experience for us.
I was instantly captivated by the beauty of the building and its warm, inviting atmosphere. It's clear that the property is maintained with great care and attention to detail. And most importantly—the food! The steak was cooked to absolute perfection, and every ingredient in each dish was thoughtfully chosen. The quality of the steak was simply outstanding. Nothing on the plate felt random—the texture of the sun-dried tomatoes, the crisp and flavorful pickles, even the potato chips served with the burger—all of it was exceptional. I even heard that the chips are hand-sliced and fried in-house, which speaks volumes about the owner’s dedication. You can truly feel the sincerity and pride in every small detail of this place. Whether it’s a special occasion or a simple meal with loved ones, this restaurant offers an experience that’s hard to match. We drove an hour to get here, and it was worth every minute. We will absolutely return—and I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone. Kids and adults alike will be delighted. I honestly hope no one misses out on discovering the taste of this place. 👍🏻
My husband brought me here for my birthday lunch. Upon entering, their main dining (ground floor) was packed, but we were greeted immediately and ushered upstairs where it was elegant and quiet! The staff was courteous, friendly, and accommodating! I had the Shrimp Cobb Salad (they didn't skimp on ingredients)-- which was divine, Roasted Sea Scallops-- which was fantastic, and because I couldn't tolerate *spicy, they even made the Brussel Sprouts special for me! My husband's Delmonico Ribeye was perfectly cooked! For dessert, I had the Affogato which was so indulgent! We were both happy with our food-- a little pricey, but definitely worth it! The service was outstanding! The ambiance was wonderful! Will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
Everything about this place is truly outstanding — from the warm and attentive customer service to the consistently delicious menu offerings. I often choose this spot to celebrate special occasions, and the experience never disappoints. I’ve had the chance to try nearly everything on the menu, and my personal favorites are the mac and cheese and the chicken alfredo. The drinks are also super tasty and complement the meals perfectly. I frequently recommend this restaurant to friends and family looking for a great dining experience in Waxahachie. It’s a true gem in the heart of downtown, and I sincerely hope it remains a staple in the community for years to come.
I had the pleasure of enjoying one of the finest steaks I've ever tasted at this restaurant. The meat was perfectly cooked to my preference, beautifully tender, and bursting with flavor. The seasoning was masterfully balanced, and the presentation truly elevated the experience. Compliments to the chef for crafting such an exquisite dish—it was a true testament to the art of fine dining. (I totally forgot to take a photo of this heavenly steak!!!) The hamburger my wife enjoyed was also absolutely delightful. The patty was juicy and flavorful, cooked to perfection, and paired wonderfully with the fresh, crisp toppings. The bun was soft yet sturdy, holding everything together without overpowering the ingredients. It was clear that great care and attention went into crafting this meal—it was a simple pleasure done exceptionally well. My compliments to the chef! Those grits my daughter had were seriously on point! So creamy and perfectly seasoned—just the right amount of comfort in every bite. Honestly, they hit the spot and made my daughter's (and my) day. Whoever made them definitely knows their way around a pot of grits!
Went here for dinner on Saturday on our way back from Dallas. I loved the ambience. It feels like you’re in a 1930s Bank when you enter music was perfect. We sat upstairs. I noticed they had a neat area to sit facing the open kitchen design. I read up on the building a little bit and the history super interesting. I got grilled chicken and a side of the truffle, mac & cheese, and the green beans, and my husband got the burger. We started with calamari and the grilled bread and a bottle of wine service was fantastic and super friendly. Our server was Trevor and we had several other people come to the table to refill drinks and check on us all very nice. Prices were pretty reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend and would return if we’re back in town.
I recently dined at this steakhouse, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience! The steak was perfectly cooked, bursting with flavor, and incredibly tender. Every bite was a delight. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really taste the quality in every dish. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was absolutely top-notch. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the service was excellent. This place truly knows how to deliver a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend it!👍
We popped in for a quick bite of appetizers while enjoying walking around the downtown area. Prime 115 was very classy and sophisticated. There is so much space in the beautiful historic building. I LOVED the bruschetta! It was amazing how many people popped in for lunch. Our server was incredibly kind and helpful and she made the experience that much more enjoyable! Can’t wait to try again!
Very nice staff. I had the cioppino , full of seafood you can share for sure. My husband had the Ribeye and it was good but he said this is Texas and you can’t have a steak without a baked potato. All sides are for two Lobster Mac and cheese was good Cocktails great.
The service rating should be split. Our server was amazing. We made reservations and were there early. 3 others were seated in front of us. The hostess didn’t even attempt to help, other than say “our table” wasn’t ready. We had never been so we didn’t request a table. The steak was cooked properly but the quality of meat wasn’t great. The wife had a shrimp pasta that was good but the shrimp were over cooked. The dessert was amazing and the bartender made amazing cocktails. You may want to pass on the JUMBO Asparagus as they were smaller than her shrimp. Smoky Old Fashioned lived up to its name.
Bait and switch. My husband and I travel for work and love to find unique gems everywhere we go! We thought this was it. Appetizer never came. All the food came out ice cold, and not as advertised. The Mac n cheese was garlic garlic garlic penne pasta. Everything is from a Sysco truck. So disappointed because the ambience is amazing! Sadly will not be back. Ordered dessert martinis and dessert. Got dessert and 10 minutes goes by before server tells us they have to get Godiva, just an awful experience for such an expensive place.
