I am going to give my Fuzzy's in Wylie 5 stars because I do very much enjoy their food and I know that most of their employees work very hard! But, I must say that when they were across the street next to the Tom Thumb they were better. When they first moved everything seemed great but as time went on it seemed like they cut back on staff coverage and then also portions. I actually do feel for any business, in particular any eatery in this terribly inflated economy so to some extent I give as much of a pass on things related to cost as much as I can muster because I know that it is costing these eateries and fortune to stay supplied and cutting portions, staff and charging for every little thing you ask for is how they help keep the doors open and make some profit. But, still somehow you still must be able to take care of your customers or at some point your business will fall into decline. It is just the way it works. The portions on the provided sides for the Fajitas are really not enough to mention. While they are still providing enough meat and if you order it Shrimp the sautéed green/red peppers and onions are very minimal. I love it so I still order it but always have to fight to get enough of that stuff. I swear I would rather pay a little bit more and get plenty of the sautéed peppers/onions and Pico, cheese, lettuce and sour cream then have to deal with issues like that every time I go in. If you go in during a busy time you will probably have a hard time finding an open table that still doesn't have to be cleaned off from the previous patrons and if you are not careful your food will not be hot when you get it at the table. The Nachos DO NOT have enough meat on them either. Not sure why because meat portions are in my experience have never been a problem but if you order the Nachos see for yourself if you eat more than half of your chips without meat and a third without any cheese. But, like I said I still love the freshness and flavor of their food and their people are very pleasant to be served by as well so I will still try and support their business as long as it doesn't continue to decline. I guess I give them 3stars for food and a 2 additional 2star bump for their kind and valiant staff!

Everything was really good. Normally not a huge fan of taco places but the atmosphere and service were definitely a reason to come back over and over.

I came in for lunch with my friends and the food came out super fast and was very good! The cashier was also very nice and very attentive in making sure our orders were correct even after having complicated orders. I will definitely be returning soon!

They are all so friendly and kind, and they know me and several other regulars by name. Chino, especially, always has positive vibes going out. Been coming to Fuzzy's since college at UNT. Been ordering the Shredded Chicken nachos, add Latin fried potatoes, Extra garlic sauce, and Jalapenos since 2008... yeah, You're welcome. For extra flavor order a side of chips and queso add chorizo and poor that on the top and mix well. Finish it off with Habanero BB Hot Sauce to taste. I rock that solo but you're probably going to want to share... unless full is what you're into. Good luck!

Started coming in here a few weeks ago for mornings. Chino is one of the coolest bartenders/dudes you can chill with. I always get the shrimp tempura tacos and they never fail me. Load 'em up with that butt burnin' hot sauce and then deal with the consequences later. But seriously, great crowd, good food, good everything. If Google didn't prevent me from selecting more than one option per question I would choose them all.

Excellent tacos and you can't beat the price. They also offer really good breakfast tacos anytime of day. On Taco Tuesday you even get a better deal. I recently tried a new Taco restaurant nearby and their Tacos were twice the price of Fuzzy's for same size and my whole family likes Fuzzy's much better.

We love Wylie Fuzzy's, but the last 2 times, some of the food was subpar. The taco shells were very stale, and potatoes were old and dried up. We always get take out, so don't immediately know. We'll try again and call with feedback if we have any more issues. I do know that nothing matches that yummy queso or garlic Baja sauce!

Great taco chain. Consistent on orders regardless where you eat. The hot sauce is on the hotter side, beware those who do not care for spicy, and their tacos are light. Their nachos are nicely sized when you get them to-go but they are large while you dine in. They used to have Mexican drinks but that has changed for our store in favor of a popular red-labeled soda supplier and Dr Pepper as well!

Placed an online order. Arrived at the time it stated, which was 45 minutes after I ordered it. The order was not complicated; gallon of margarita, platter of chips and queso and guacamole sides. 15 minutes went by before I was even acknowledged, though the waitress kept making eye contact as she walked past. Another 25 minutes before I received my order, with being asked 4 times what name the order was under. If I order ahead, especially with that advance time, I expect the order is ready when I get there. The service was unacceptable and with no apologies for the long wait.

Update: Was a 5 star but the over ice margaritas have changed & are impossible to drink. Always a great go-to spot for yummy tacos & chorizo queso.

First visit in the new location on a Sunday night in June. They were not busy and we were able to order quickly. The nachos were underwhelming and the chips lacked seasoning, as you can see in the picture. There were hardly any chips for a full serving of nachos. The queso and chicken were ordered on the side which looked further underwhelming. The fried baja shrimp taco was good once sauce was added. Before that it needed cheese and additional toppings. The sauce is great and the tea is fresh brewed, which is always a plus. There is plenty of parking and a large outdoor pet friendly patio. There’s a full bar, but the restaurant is rather small in comparison to the prior location. Will probably only visit again if company is interested, as again, food was underwhelming.

Used to love fuzzys but today was a miss. The dining room looked and felt dirty. Ordered a salad to go and didnt receive dressing in my bag. I went back to get it and there wasn’t even a “sorry about that” which I thought was strange. Salad was huge chunks of ice burg and romaine.. fajita chicken was a strange texture and didn’t look or taste grilled. Def won’t order the salad again.

The tacos were tasty. But I was shorted on my online order. I work in a food service store, so I understand that when online orders get busy things can get forgotten. However it was not busy when I came in. Two employees were hovering behind the counter waiting around. Also I got there earlier than my order was scheduled to be ready and it had been clearly sitting there prepared for some time. The site designated a time to pick up, and if I had waited it would have sat there for another 15 minutes. I just feel that there was a lack of thought or care or customer service.

My to go order was wrong. I got a tiny taco when I ordered a burrito. I was not happy 😕. What we did receive was good.

Love Fuzzys, always have. HOWEVER This location is brand new and unless you are the owners friend, forget about getting a seat at the bar. Every single time I have come in, its the same people at the bar as if they have assigned seats. They also receive most of the service from staff. The 1 and only time I was able to sit at the bar, the bartender didnt even notice me for about 10 mins. As a single person, I prefer to sit at the bar and enjoy conversation with staff and watch the game. Other than that, food is great. Just get it to go.

Was in recently for lunch. The food quality hss suffered since they moved. The restaurant was gross. Floors were sticky/greasy. Table top was sticky and gross. Bar top was the same way. The beer tasted like the lines were dirty and hadn't been deep cleaned recently. Dissapointed, i used to really enjoy this place.

Quick 🛑 STOP!! I wanted a light but good lunch and I got it. The entrance is a bit confusing but I managed to find my way to the far right. As most reviews have pointed out there were some worries at the front entrance. All employees were behind the bar( maybe like 2-3). One girl was taking an order over the phone while at the register, as I tried to decide my order. Finally, I decided to go with the best, probably only choice. Grilled Veggie Tacos🤷🏽‍♀️ Yooooooo, these were 🔥🔥🔥 AND by far the best of Fuzzy's. However, very off-putting with the dining area unkempt. Ehhh, maybe understaffed but seems like mostly teenagers managing so there's that for thought. Anyway, the cooks in the kitchen made my day and the best taco's from Fuzzy's ❤️🎯

Update: The store reached out and offered a refund. We greatly appreciate the Customer Service. As mentioned, we have never had any prior issues with this location before and will continue going. We normally order here all the time and drive 45 mins for pickup. I ordered the sopapilla bites along with our food. I opened the box and there were TWO hairs on there. I don't even want to know what body part these came from. I tried calling the location but no answer. I'm HIGHLY disappointed. Not only did I tip, we are out of food and wasted gas driving there and back.

Got food and a margarita kit to go for a quarantine birthday. The food was very average and had small portions for the price. The margarita kit was almost $40 but tasted like watered down margarita mix with very little tequila. The service was good. The young man helping us was handling a lot at once and still took the time to thoroughly help and provide different options to help me find the right choice.

I hate to ever give them less than 5 stars but this last trip was very disapointing. I ordered the meat queso with chips= Awesome as always. Coke-can't go wrong with that. Lastly I ordered 2 tempera shrimp tacos with extra shrimp=the Worst I have Ever had there. They had this nasty Old grease taste. I managed to eat 1 taco but threw the last taco away(Big Waste of Money). Also, the chairs at the bar were set up as normal and not spaced 6ft apart. None of the people at the bar were wearing masks and the bar area was easily 90% full. The cooks/food preparers in the back were NOT WEARING MASKS either. NONE of the tables were marked off keeping table sitting customers 6 ft away or had seperating screens between connected tables. That tells me they are Not Caring about the Safety of Their Customers. I will Definately NOT return during this pandemic for sure and seeing as they Don't care about my safety I don't really care if they no longer get the support to stay open. If I was a safety inspector I would give them an F.

Service was okay. Ordered a salad that I’ve been ordering for years because it has an adequate amount of chicken for the price. Well that’s no longer the case. Asked for more, manager said okay for sure and then came back with the exact same amount. Won’t be coming back. Tired of wasting my money places and leaving still hungry.

The cashier barely knew the menu to answer my questions. I gave a rating of 2 b/c my food was cold by the time I made it 5 minutes back to my house. However the queso for my husband's order was hot as was his burrito which confirmed my suspision that the cheese for my nachos had just been sitting somewhere.

I have eaten at more than one location. The food is ok but not worth the price. The seasoning on their chips my family hates, it is disgusting, absolutely ruins the chips. Lots of room for improvement, or leave and make room for something better.

We went to pick up an order and there was maybe 3 people in the entire restaurant and they still got the order wrong. We were missing one of the orders all together. We drove all the way back to have them remake it and the excuse we got was there was only one cook working. Well you had 3 people in the restaurant and our order for 4 people so I was a little taken back by her response. She never offered to comp us the tacos or maybe a free taco next time so I did say I thought she should give us a credit for them and she did agree to do that. The tacos are very small for the price. Food was mediocre at best. I will not return. There are definitely better options.

It’s not the same at all. Food was okay. We waited on our chips and cheese which wasn’t normal. Ordered fajitas which are always great….. The new place doesn’t serve fajitas on the sizzling platter any longer. They came out warm at best. Food was good, just not the same. Staff was nice. Will venture down the street for Fuzzy’s in the future.

This was the absolute WORST Fuzzy's Taco I've ever been to. It took sooo long to get our order and the kids chicken nuggets was like eating leather so it was thrown away. Thank goodness my grandson had rice to eat. My shredded beef salad was like half an order, at best. Very disappointing......and we won't be back, that's for sure

Edited: well, it was good while it lasted, but as they transitioned from a new store (and higher standards), to the same ol' "Fuzzys on 544", this store's quality has *significantly* decreased to the low quality of its previous location across the street. I used to eat here at least twice a week when it opened, but the last SIX times I've eaten here (or ordered to go), literally everything has been terrible. The Tempura shrimp, chicken tenders, and anything else fried is so overcooked that it's served practically burned. Most of the time I order to go so I can't get it fixed, but the one time I ate in person and told them it was overcooked, they brought out a second try and it was still overcooked. It almost tastes like it's been cooked, then reheated in the fryer before serving because it's inedible. (Maybe the fryer is too high or the oil is old?) Regardless, this is not a one time occurrence, this is a regular event. Even the grilled shrimp is either overcooked or flavorless, and the refried beans taste like they've been sitting out for hours before serving (that dusty crusty flavor usually reserved for school lunch lines or cheap buffets). I've officially given up ordering from this store and I encourage anyone trying fuzzys for the first time to pick a different store, because this one is the worst of the worst. Original: Fuzzys is my favorite taco shop, and I've been to 3 different ones around the metroplex and this is now my favorite one since they built the standalone shop. Consistently good servers and bartenders, almost always a clean table, food is cooked perfect every time.

Best one out of 4 that I have been to. Update: We order the same thing every time we go. The nachos we get seems to change to half size every other time. When we asked the staff why they say it's always this small. We are wrong on the different sizes. That the half a plate is always how it's served. We have gone there for several years now. So I have removed stars. Not our favorite date night stop anymore.

Don't order through Door Dash or any other delivery app. Multiple consecutive orders with multiple items missing. Our last order had half the items missing but still charged full tab. When I called all I called I get the "Sorry unfortunately because you ordered through Door Dash we can't help you." Love The food but won't order unless sitting inside the restaurant.

Great way to lose customers. Ever since they moved to their new location in Wylie, their tacos have been about 1/2 the size that they use to be. This will probably be the last time I pay $3 for a $1.25 taco here. The new location is cramped. They do have a drive-through, but you can’t order like a regular one. It has to be done on the inter web or over the phone, so it’s basically for Door Dash, Uber eats and other delivery services. . Let’s cater to all the lazy people that don’t want to go anywhere why don’t we ? Thanks for the memories !!

I placed an order around 1:00pm for pick up at 6:00pm. The confirmation note said it would be ready between 6:00pm - 6:10pm. I arrived at 6:02pm to get my food. The guy handed me my food and I drove 2 minutes back home. I took out the food and noticed it was cold, and looked like it had been sitting out for hours. I took it back. I went to the counter and spoke with the same man who handed me my food and said it was cold. His response was that he had been calling my name for a long time, and knew it was going to be cold (yet he still gave it to me). Disgusting! My food was probably prepared when I placed the order, and sat for hours before I arrived to get it when I said I would.

Curbside pick up order. I was pretty sure that they just waited to cook my food once I called and told them I had arrived after waiting 20 minutes for it to get to get walked out to my car. Upon finding cold and disgusting food in the bag, I'm guessing the food was ready a while beforehand... it just took that long for the associate to muster up all the indignation and annoyance he could display as part of his 5 steps from storefront to my carside window. It was a limited window of time to showcase his attitude, but hot damn did he let me know how much I was bothering him. Awful, avoid this this location at all costs. Took over 20 minutes to get our food for a very simple order and the restaurant was half full. When the food finally came, we were missing a taco, the meat was tough, and the rice was hard. Really? Do better, Fuzzys.

Todd needs to more worried about his customers and staff rather than his own pockets. Beer is always out. If it's cold he doesn't care about his customers being cold. He treats his staff terrible. He is very arrogant towards his customers ans staff. He is a terrible owner and needs to understand what the restaurant business is about. He is losing more money because of the way he treats his customers and staff. Everyone I have talked to are tired of the way he treats people and runs this restaurant. Just left here in wylie heading home to rowlett. I don't normally leave reviews but I'm just tired of people not caring. We ordered to go. I tipped for a to go order which I don't normally do. The store wasn't busy. We ordered chips and queso didn't receive any chips, what good is that. The beef bowl had maybe 3 pieces of beef. The shrimp salad we ordered had a reasonable amount of shrimp. The avacodos were oxidized and gross looking. Back to the tip what is it for? Grabbing the bag and walking 5 steps to hand it to me? Maybe being on a phone is more important than checking an order..never will I tip until I see reason for it.

First mistake, trying to eat on the patio. It was apparent that the cashier/waitperson immediately forgot who we were and we were there. I had to go retrieve our chips and guacamole after waiting several minutes. The person was too busy flirting with the customer that came in behind us with a Togo order. Our food FINALLY came out and we had to debate that some of items were not prepared the way we ordered. The receipt proved I was correct. Then I queried where the rest of our food was. It was obvious that the entire order wasn’t there and wasn’t prepared because we were almost finished eating before the rest of the order came out. This location is simply not worth the cost for the terrible service. Oh, my second mistake, tipping when I initially paid. Never again.

Yuck. Yuck Just "enjoyed" our avocado flavored Kellogg's cereal taco, with "melted" cheese nachos. Staff even confirmed we were being a problem for asking if veggies could be added to the nachos since my wife is vegetarian. Just yuck.

Worst experience! I ordered a taco plate, with beans and rice. I also asked for extra cheese. The tacos came with hardly a sprinkle of cheese. I politely told the server that I ordered extra cheese. She said "let me see your receipt", then proceeded to tell me that they did not charge me. If I wanted extra cheese, it would be a $1.60. So, I asked if I could at least get the cheese that should have come on the taco. She smirked at me and said "It has cheese!". So, rather then argue, I paid for the extra cheese. Proceeded to eat, the beans were horrible and and a strong burt taste as well as being room temperature along with the rest of the food. The tables and chairs were dirty. Very unpleasant staff, I will NEVER return to this place again!!

5 small pieces of meat. Very slow service. Embarrassed how low this place has sunk

Ordered nachos…got them home and the chips were soft / stale and tasted like old grease. Took them back to the restaurant and all they did was add some fresh chips on top and give them back. Will not go back to Fuzzys, there are many other places to get nachos and tacos in Wylie. I’ve been a fan of Fuzzys for years but the quality has gone down so I’ll find something else.

The grill backsplace hasn't been cleaned in months. Not a clean place.This was my favorite place. A taco place that charges for taco sauce. This place is no longer my favorite. 7-8-17 my husband want a breakfast taco at 9:00. I was the only one in the place and the floors had food everywhere. Then the taco was small and the potatoes and bacon looked and tasted like old cooking oil.i hope the owner wakes up I love fuzzy but not in Wylie.
