Hey Tea Albee Square Reviews
As a bubble tea fanatic trying tea all over the city the past ten years (who never leaves reviews) this tea is beyond!! The best boba tea you’ll ever try. The perfection of the coconut mango boom - there is so much happening with the cream and chunks of fruit, it’s incredible!! Best best best. I never order fruit tea either but wow!! 🤩 also the brown sugar boba is the best milk tea option! Jasmine tea latte is good too. Matcha cloud is incredible!! I’ve tried most but if it’s your first time here? Try the coco mango boom
Exceptionally clean environment. TOP tier customer service, I wish I could remember the Asian girl’s name but she was super friendly and courteous. Since I was a first timer and unsure of my selection she was very patient and helpful in making a choice. The mango coconut drink I got was off the charts! Excellent
I've been missing the grapefruit pulp I grew accustomed to in my travels in Taiwan last year. But no more, I got the grapefruit boom here and my grapefruit pulp dreams are now realized - and only a few blocks from where I live. I was a little hesitant to come here based on some of the negative reviews, but I visited on a weekday at lunch time, my order was filled quickly, there was no wait, and the service was friendly. In addition, my drink tasted great.
The mango grapefruit is so good!! Wait time was not long at all and the spot was very clean and cozy. Definitely will come back to try the other drink options!
**Heytea - Downtown Brooklyn: A Must-Visit for Tea Lovers!** If you're a fan of creative and refreshing drinks, Heytea in Downtown Brooklyn is a gem. The ambiance is modern and inviting, with a clean, minimalist vibe that makes it a perfect spot to relax or catch up with friends. The staff is friendly, and service is generally quick despite the popularity of the place. The star of the show, of course, is the tea! Their fruit teas are an absolute must-try, with the bursting flavors of fresh fruit paired beautifully with high-quality tea bases. I recommend the Grapefruit Boom, which balances the tartness of the fruit with the subtle sweetness of the tea. For those who love something creamier, the Cheese Foam teas are a unique treat—rich, smooth, and not overly sweet. The variety here is impressive, with plenty of customizable options for sweetness and ice levels. The ingredients always taste fresh, and you can tell that a lot of thought goes into each drink. While prices are on the higher end for bubble tea, the quality and experience more than justify it.
This was my first time here, and to be honest, the wait wasn’t worth it. Perhaps it was the drink I chose, but I paid extra for boba and received barely any—there wasn’t enough boba. I also had to wait 15 minutes for jasmine tea. However, I will come back to try another drink. I did enjoy the coconut foam on top; it made the drink different from other boba spots.
Worst location. Service was slow and unprofessional. The workers were all converged in the back abandoning customers at the counter. The location looked wet and dirty. The drinks were also badly prepared. I had to throw it out.
This is not my favorite location and would only get it when I wanted to treat my self. My last order was terrible. I've had the basic jasmine tea before but this tasted like the tea leaves were burnt. I ordered my drink warm with boba which mean I didn't get a clear cup so didn't notice there wasn't any boba until I got home. Ended up throwing it away because of how bad it was. Yea this is definitely the worst location.
Every single time I’ve ordered it takes forever to get the order. Even if you order ahead online you have to wait. The most recent time I ordered ahead and it took 30 minutes to make two teas when there wasn’t even a rush of orders, the place was empty.
