I had a great time here, my food was really tasty, the vegetables spring rolls are the best part I love them. The rice was really good and the orange chicken it’s a must. The atmosphere it’s quiet, like a family restaurant.

My wife called in at 9:09 and they still delivered to us even though they are closed at 9:30. The young lady who answered the phone was very nice and helpful. She made sure our orders were correct. The food was delicious and not too greasy nor salty like other Chinese places. We enjoyed their food every single time. A small business like this deserves all the support, and our family sincerely hope they will continue to succeed and stay open for a long time.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Come all the way from North Carolina to Houston Texas and this was the first meal I tried with my family. It was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Food tasted fresh and flavorful and portions were a very good size!!! Definitely would recommend to anyone and I will be back again before I leave.

My husband and I stopped for early lunch. We had Beef and Broccoli, Wontons, Hot Sour Soup, Spring Roll and General Tso. It was all excellent. Made fresh, hot and played well.

Absolutely love this place. Awesome food, Great service on the phone and in person and the price for what you get is spot on. We have been customers since they opened. We love the Green Curry and Red Curry on any of the protein choices along with the Singapore Combination. So happy they decided to open up in our community.

The meat is tender and not greasy or over cooked. Huge portions. The beyond menu app they use is way better than other food apps. Smelled so good my dog was begging.

L&A China Cafe is a hidden gem! The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and served hot. Their General Tso’s chicken is crispy with just the right kick, and the fried rice is always perfectly cooked. The staff are friendly and quick, whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout. Great portions for the price too. Highly recommend if you’re craving delicious Chinese food.

For the price, approximately nine dollars per lunch special, the food was excellent. Wasn't overcooked too oily and the food was fresh. Unlike many cheaper Chinese restaurants. The restaurant is new and well-designed. The owner didn't buy the newest furniture, some of it had missing vinyl, but it's OK. That probably helps him keep the dishes affordable despite using fresh and good ingredients. Try it out.

My review is for take-out/delivery only; I have not dined in. We've had delivery from this spot a few times now, and I can confidently say this is our new "spot" after trying a few other nearby Chinese restaurants. They're pricier than some others we've ordered from but the food has been consistently delicious and the portions are generous (warning: if you order a bowl instead of cup of soup, be ready for a LOT of soup). The estimated delivery times have always been accurate so we've always known when to expect our food to arrive. Overall good experiences with this business and we will continue to be repeat customers.

New favorite go-to place for my Chinese food needs! It was like at the corner of the street and we dined in that time. The food quality is much better than your typical Chinese place and place looks and smells decently clean. They do cook the food you order right from the kitchen and serve to you fresh. Food doesn't taste undercooked or too salty and doesn't smell weird as well. It feels balanced and I don't feel too tired or thirsty after the meal. As far as service, we didn't have to wait too long (nor too short) for good food to arrive. So expect "some" wait. Appetizers and drinks came first when ordered and then the main dishes. No problem with the waiter or who helped us and understood what we saying and check on us periodically. Lunch specials are available from 11-3pm. I can imagine this place is a very good take out option as we seen a lot of people come and go here to pick up. You can order online (minimum $18 for delivery) or over the phone based on the front menu I saw. Seems like a very good place to stop by say for lunch or quick bite on a break or something. It's like a simple Café, nothing too large or too crowded, but serves good Chinese food here. Please keep up the good quality of food and service here because that is very appreciated!

The food is great. My family started eating here a little over 2 years ago, and so far, it is the best Chinese cuisine (my favorite cuisine) I have had in a very long time. The customer service is a mediocre, but not so much to where I would stop eating here. Maybe if I walked in to dine on one of their bad days, but thankfully, that has not happened yet. They are a little dry with you if you are ordering out, but it's fine. Just give me my good food, and I'll be out of your hair.

We’ve been back 3 times within the last two weeks. It’s fresh and so gooooood. The first time I tried Garlic Shrimp which was Goooood had a little kick to it but I could tolerate it. The second & third time I tried the Shrimp & Broccoli and that’s now my #1 pick The fried chicken and shrimp is perfect !! The chicken nuggets and fries are fresh the kids love it. My fiancé tried the general tso and he thoroughly enjoyed it.

The food ad wait staff were excellent. Large portions, very fresh and cooked just perfect. I had the Happy Family and the veggies were crunchy and very flavorful. The dish was yummy. Definitely going back. The kids meal was also a good sized portion.

I was in the mood for Singapore noodles and L& A did not disappoint! Soooo good!! Very delicious and great portion size! Quick service as well, perfect for the lunch time rush.

The Chinese fried rice didn't taste like the everyday Chinese fried rice; that one is used too. It was a totally different taste entirely. That's why I gave it a 4 star. Left to that, everything else was exceptional 👌.

The food is actually really good and they give a lot for a good price. Waitress seems rude but I think that's just her resting face she was helpful and attentive. She wasn't rude it's just her demeanor. Definitely would come again and the place is really calm. Thank you for the food!!

This place has the best shrimp fried rice. The shrimp is amazing. The only thing I wish is we didn’t have to pay addl $3 for cabbage and the cabbage is big chucks with no taste. Wish is was regular chopped or shredded cabbage.

Looking at the menu they had two things that I enjoy which is Thai green curry and mapo tofu. If this place can do somewhat of a decent job of these dishes outside of Chinatown on Bellaire, they get my vote. Well, they get my vote. The green curry had flavor, creamy base, basil, bamboo shoots and a good amount of heat when requested “to make it spicy”. For people who love real spicy food I would ask to make it extra hot. The mapo tofu was good as well with the soft tofu and the amount of ground pork used. I will say for me to hit all points with these dishes would be the vegetables. I would have liked to see eggplant with the green curry, and remove the peas and carrots from the mapo tofu. However, these are minor gripes. If they do this well with these two dishes then my guess is that the traditional dishes (kung pao chicken, Mongolian beef, etc.) should be as good if not better. Also, the people there are nice and the food was made fast too. I'm glad there is more competition on the block and it is so far so good.

I like the appetizers, the soups, the dishes and of all things they have my Singapore rice noodles. A rare thing to most Asian restaurants. A little off on the timing for a pickup and delivery but worth the wait nonetheless. I would certainly recommend trying this traditionally flavored American Chinese establishment and while you're there, give one of the Singapore rice noodle dishes a try(spicy).

The cheese puffs have a different taste and texture than most cheesepuffs and just mediocre flavor. The kunpao was way too heavy in sauce, although I did like that it had a good amount of chicken. The rice was soooo greasy and lacking flavor. I appreciate that it didn't have much sodium like most, but maybe a pinch or some soy sauce or something was missing, very bland. The shrimp in the rice was very good btw. Also the egg roll in the kids meal was very good and crispy. I know in rosenberg it is hard to find good Chinese, but this place has hints of greatness , I think they can do better. Don't settle try to improve!

Just decided to try for the first time and the food is legit horrible. I don't know how this place has the rating it does. The chicken lo mein was the worst I've ever had. The general tso's chicken doesn't even come with vegetables. The cheese puffs were stale. The only redeeming food was the chicken fried rice. Do not plan on returning.

Have enjoyed eating here for quite a while…until tonight. Didn’t deliver the sauce for half the meal. I called so they could bring the sauce, and it took 5 minutes before they agreed to bring sauce. 25 minutes later, still no sauces. Called again, and they said they expected me to come get the sauce. I asked why I would go get a sauce when I paid for delivery. - especially after they told me they would bring the sauce. Finally they delivered the sauce. Not happy.

Honestly, the food was whatever. It's decent at best. Would I recommend? No, not because of the food, but the highway robbery. Menu says 11.99 for the plates, but then charges me 12.99 and 13.99. No where on the menu are those prices present. Will never visit again. Just go to Panda express down the road you'll feel the same after eating, but have saved some money.
