The potato-rice ball was fantastic. You'll have to ask our dog about the empanada - we were full, so we took it home for later and he stole it right off the table. I've been going here since my first year at psla highschool and this is definitely my favorite place to go. I'm biased because this is the place I met some of my best friends so it has really good memories for me but also the food is amazing. the beef empanadas are incredibly flavorful and taste like beef as apposed to a soggy American burger. they are perfectly crisp and always warm, the rice is fantastic and something I always say I'll save for next time but end up getting anyways because it's just that good. the staff are amazing and friendly and I can smell the food when I'm walking home. I love it here. for awhile they even had student discounts. really helpful for most freshman and sophomore that don't have jobs. it's a walkable distance from school. the staff are so friendly and the food is always comforting and tasty and something I always look forward to

We have been searching for a great restaurant that serves Latin food. We are happy to have found Don Juan. First of all, the service was great. We were warmly greeted and tended to patiently. The stewed chicken was great and the rice and beans were delicious. We will be back.

Saw the place online, decided to give it a try. At first it looks a little sketchy, but you can tell all the locals in the area eat here, which is a good sign. The food is really good with authentic flavor, definitely recommend for a quick bite. A must go to restaurant if your ever on this side of town. The food is made fresh daily sometimes there is a line, but we'll worth the wait.

The owner of Don Juan's always remembers each customer and what they usually eat. A few of my friends and I eat there regularly. They have great food, big portions with reasonable prices.They serve you at your table with great service. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Pork Chops or Pernil is ABSOLUTELY some of the best I have EVER had. I have had some of the best Spanish food growing up in Brooklyn. This place is hands down the best I have EVER had in upstate NY. If I could give ten stars, I would give ten stars... yep, they are THAT good.

I got the rice with gandules and carne frita, it was pretty good. I like the whole wood cabin vibe they got going on. The restaurant actually had a line to the door but only one girl working. So what should have been a 5-8 minute wait turned into 25-30 minutes because this girl was taking her time. But other than that I won't mind visiting this restaurant next time I'm in the cuse✌🏽

Nothing fancy inside, but the food is delicious. We went for lunch on a Thursday and there was steady stream of customers. We tried the pork chops and the ribs, both with rice. The potato-rice ball was fantastic. You'll have to ask our dog about the empanada - we were full, so we took it home for later and he stole it right off the table. We'll have to go back and try them for ourselves.

Always good. Fair prices for generous portions. Parking can be tight and there's usually somebody trying to hit you up for cash on your way out. Go to this location. The one on Seneca Tnpk. is not nearly as good.

Food is good price are little to much I order a large steak and rice not enough meat too much rice they use to give you a small salad but I think they need to add the salad back I use to pay 12now 16🤔

The place wasn't tidy when I have been. I prefer a bit more attention to napkins on the floor and the seating options were weird, I had to pull a chair from another table for my friend and I. But the food is consistently good as a Puerto Rican I can testify. The staff is friendly.

Tried this place for my first time today for lunch. My daughter in law and son has been there several times and from what I understand, they were very happy with it. When I arrived, there was a line of approximately 6 people waiting to place their order at the counter. The line went fairly fast. About a 7 min wait. As I got closer to the counter I could see the nice display of all the different foods. The area looked clean, the food was nicely organized and looked very appetising!. I was planning on getting the pulled pork plate with beans and rice. However, the lady in front of me ordered the pepper steak combo and they put so much meat in it they could hardly close the lid!! Well, that was enough for me to ask for "the same as the lady in front of me" order! Well, I didn't quite get the same proportions as she did! Lol. I recieved a nice scoop of rice, few beans on top, and about 1/4 of the amount of meat as the lady in front of me?? Now, here is the big kicker. When I went to pay, I was charged $15.12. I asked why the lady in front of me who had the same thing was charged less? ( She handed them a $10 and got change back). I was told that it was because she ordered a small!!?... So, apparently the smalls are less costly even though they come with much more meat??? Lol. Perhaps it's because I was wearing a shirt and tie, non spanish speaking and pale?? Lol... anyway, took the food back to the office, it was still quite hot. It did not have a ton of flavor that I was hoping some authentic Puerto Rican food would have. The meat was tender but only had 2 very small slices of peppers in my portion. The rice and beans were tasty enough for a side. It was decent, but nothing really special. I may go back and give it a second chance, but perhaps I'll go with my less pale daughter in law and have her order?? Lol.

The food is good. The portions are tiny! They give you 90% rice. I wanted beans with my order which the meal description said was included but did not get any. The delivery is always missing something.

Never have chicken empanadas when I come. They don't make anymore after they "run out". My 5th day in a row going and have been unsatisfied.

They use to have delicious quality food. I don't know if they recently changed cooks but the last 3 times my wife and I went there the food has been horrible. The rice is dry and bland the pork had hard pieces in it that seemed like it sat too long and tastes are all bland. To day is the last time I will go there. I found an onion skin in my rice.

Ordered roast pork with yellow rice, beans and a beef n cheese... let's start with the positive bc there wasn't much... the portions are big. Plenty of rice and pork. Didn't get any beans... NONE... Never got my beef n cheese. The pork and rice was super dry and almost flavorless.. wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and I will never be back...
