This is the best McDonald’s I’ve been to. The people are ridiculously nice, the food is amazingly served. On top of everything it’s super clean. Definitely stop here when passing by, won’t disappoint. #notspons
The buns at this McDonald’s were actually fresh and warm compared to other McDonald’s I’ve been to. However I could not understand how to play the balloon popping game. I popped all the non bomb balloons but still failed the level. I couldn’t find the instructions either.
Very clean and the cashier was very friendly. Thank u for having a very great crew . Thank u. We shall keep going.

A Well-Deserved Five Stars for the Faithful Laborers at Cotulla’s McDonald’s Review: Blessed are the hands that work swiftly and kindly, for they nourish both body and spirit. As a faithful DoorDasher, oft do I traverse the highways and byways of Cotulla, and among the many houses of sustenance, McDonald’s standeth as a shining light. Though the line of chariots be long and the lobby filled with many souls seeking bread, yet the workers within faint not, nor are they overcome by the tide. Their labors are constant, their demeanor gracious, and their preparations swift. Rarely have I seen an order delayed, and rarer still have I been met with anything but kindness and cheerful spirit. Even under great burden, they maintain a noble standard of excellence, serving all with fairness and diligence. Verily, I bestow five stars upon each and every one who toils there. They are worthy of all honor and commendation, for they slave not in vain, but ensure that the people are fed and satisfied. May their efforts be blessed, and may those who partake of their labors remember to be patient and grateful, for behind every meal is a soul who hath worked hard to provide it.
Drive through service was good, but burger looked like it was ran over by a truck. Still tasted good.
Would give 5 stars except for my McRib having almost no sauce on it. It was fresh and hot, but I had to add ketchup 😒
Hi, I went through the Mcdonald’s drive thru at 8:02 am on 06/14/2025. Register: KS# 15 Order: 25. Anyhow, don’t get me wrong at the beginning everything was smooth and cool, but the second we want to ask Ms.Bonnie for some jam, sauce, and ketchup she says she can’t “hear” me at the same time i am speaking i am blowing out my smoke but another way i wouldn’t want it to hit her, because i myself work at fast food and at a drive thru, and if anything you have a camera facing directly at the window so you can check the footage and see i am not lying. Well my friend proceeded to ask for the sauces for me since she couldn’t “hear” me, my friend was raising her tone because she was in the passenger and this lady had just said she couldn’t “hear” me the driver. then she proceeded to argue with my friend and “say don’t yell at me” like she didn’t yell at me no matter what morning, day we are having we should never lash out at the customer, my friend had just gotten out of work from an overnight shift, i don’t genuinely understand how someone works fast food, but can’t stand being at their job. edit: (failed to mention the lady messed up on my order at that), but shoutout to David Garza the shift manager for getting everything sorted out how it should be. great work as a manager 👍🏼
Place is clean, the employees were extremely helpful and brought food out to me. I noticed the Manager was really hands on helping his staff to get the orders out faster.
*another update* On 08/29/2024 at 7:30pm......The staff were very friendly the food was cooked the way we asked, they were fast and efficient. We have experienced this the last two times we have gone. However previously to that we have experienced the comments below. This is a huge improvement, they did forget something but fixed it the second we showed our receipt (check your items before driving away.) When ordering on the app we have found ordering online then picking it up through the drive-thru is the quickest way to get your order. *update* I tried picking up in the lobby to see if it was quicker. It has been over an hour, the staff are overwhelmed and under trained they are running around but aren't progressing with what needs to be done, and it's a mess in here very dirty Ordered an online order from the time we ordered it to the time we got the food it was over a hour keep in mind we were waiting there for around 40 minutes, my husband went inside they said they know nothing about the order then they said oh yeah there it is then we waited another 20 minutes (no one in drive through) he went in to check again. They then try and give him the $4 oatmeal in a packet and said here you cook it, my husband said no you are supposed to, they then put boiling water in it but didn't give us the fruit or raisins with it. Then in the bacon egg and cheese biscuit they only put bacon in it with nothing else. On a different day their app wasn't working it was 8:30pm showing breakfast food only to order but they refused to give the pick up discounts because we had to do drive through because their app wasn't working. Other times for pick up it has taken 30 minutes and we go when it is not busy. They need a new manager!
They ran out of ketchup in the whole restaurant, bathrooms were not clean, and we wait a long time for our order. There was no playground and the soda machine was sticky.. On the other hand, staff was very friendly, but that is not enough when you have a fly bothering you while eating. I would recommend it if they pay more atention to those details...
This store is alright. We go through this small town as a pit stop but its kinda dirty & the bathrooms smells. There is black slim in the ice machine. I wouldn't eat their food.
It being a fast food purveyor the do get the food out quick but they have gotten my drink wrong the last 3 time in a row. I ask for"unsweet no sugar tea" Igetsweet tea every time. What's ambiguous about this? I do not get it... so check your cup if going drive thru...ya know?
Took a while when ordering through drive through
Ordered vanilla iced coffee. I drove off without tasting it, and it was regular coffee that tasted as if it had been sitting there all day. And of course, there is no ice in it. It had all melted before I received it, so I asked for a cup of ice. The girl gave me a kids cup with 4 ice cubes........
Very slow with the service. The store did not have a crowd inside and drive through was occasional. It took over 20 minutes to get a burger combo meal. Then you go to sit down to eat and there is no ketchup. Hope this is not the norm.
Stop here on our way back to Dallas. Went through drive through for a breakfast and lunch. Food was okay. Did not get the order right or even forgot to put napkins. Had to go inside to get. Just overall a lack luster experience.
Lots of people work here but services slooooooow! At lunch time I don't know how anybody gets back to work on time.
The cashier had NO knowledge on the app with rewards. Also waited in window for order for 15 mins. Then we see employee run to window to give other vehicles and us our orders. Who know what she was doing.. bad service
They need to work more to have happy employees. I'm guessing they are upset and that's why they provide poor service. The order was wrong, they took forever, nobody wants to help, they try to stay away from the clients. They even avoid eye contact so you don't call them. Just in this location to my experience.
Nothing is worse than cold McDonald's cheeseburgers.... Asked for three triple cheeseburgers "made to order" and they made two out of the drawer... I discovered the other one was missing and wanted that one... They made it out of the drawer too. 3 cold disgusting burgers. Two stars only because the fries were hot.
I ordered fish sandwich. It was raw in middle. Fries were old. These franchise needs to cook on order. Let customers wait little bit. Fresh food pays off. Staff was somewhat unhappy.
The 2 stars is for the quality of the food being above my average McDonald's experience. Service was slow and when inquiring about my order, i was brushed off with a "yeah, I'll check". 4 other dine in customers and 6 drive through customers later, i get 2 biscuits that i ordered. Total wait time of 25 minutes for me before i get to eat.
The staff ignores customers. Just when they want to attend, they start to pay attention. It's kind of common for them and they get mad if you ask for attention
This store always closes its inside dining early or never even opens. Be prepared to go through drive thru, or use mobile app. Dont know if it’s short staffed but theres always issues here.
When they get it right it's great. Some employees have no clue how to ring things up which leads to the costumer being over charged. Ordered a Hot Honey Mcrispy, was rung up for a spicy mcrispy add bacon. Not even close to the same thing. Another time I asked for a Bacon and Cheese Qtr Pounder. The girl got so confused then rang me up for a bacon qtr pounder add bacon. 1.99$ upcharge for extra bacon which I didn't ask for. They also put the drinks in the wrong size cups. They need to learn the difference between the McCafe sizes and the regular sizes.
Same as the rest, overpriced and drive-thru is not longer priority. Took so long I skipped out and got food down the road.

If you're a truck driver don't go here we are half there business next to 2 truck stops there dinner is closed for some reason and they refused to serve us at the drive thru because we don't have a car our trucks can't fit thur the drive thru and refused us service by walking up to the drive thru window we told them go back to your 5 dollars an hour job better yet get a real job
Closes at 11p. It’s 10:30p and they say system is down and not taking any more orders, yet I see vehicles in line. Lazy.
Very screwed up waited 35 min. Ordered 1 bacon egg cheese meal and 2 more same biscuits get home they did 3 mcgriddle sandwiches what a screwed up place I made it simple and I speak good English very very disapointed

11/9/21 @ 7:00pm I am a truck driver and i just walk to this junk place to buy some food for the homeless guy, because he asked me to buy him from McDonald's but this lady told us we have to have a car to order 👎👎👎, it was easy to take order through the window, u dont need a car. Ya all need to stop eating the junck, frozen foods, get some fresh food somewhere els. We just went to flying,j truck stop & got him fresh pizas, chicken.
I ordered at 4:17 and barely got our food at 4:47 That’s not including how long I waited to place my order They blamed it on Halliburton workers Over half an hour added to our road trip (being a fast food chain) On top of that the worker who gave us our food was very sarcastic
This establishment is terrible!! Everyone that works here hates their life and takes it out on customers!! Shut it down! Whoever owns this establishment, fold up and count your losses!!
Do yourself a favor and skip this store. I’ve been twice this week and both times they are 15-20 minutes late opening. Saying all the can sell me is coffee because the grill isn’t warm yet.
Woman who took my money short changed me by $2.00. She was having problems counting the change. Then missing my quarter pounder only cheese and bacon. Charged me extra for the cheese and bacon even though it was on the menu for one price. Called to complain and someone answered the phone and hung up. Ridiculous.
Morning shift 10/16/21 young man on drive thru window needs for training on good customer service. Not sure what was wrong with him but last time am stopping here. May be he's not a Morning person

So my family and I hardly ever go out to eat because of the expense but I decided to go and treat my kids to dinner but instead we received raw burgers, and apparently it has happened on more than one occasion to other people in our community. This McDonald's needs help! Giving one star because that's the only way to write a review if I could leave none I would. Don't waste your money here, go somewhere else!!
They don't have enough people to serve customers, I had to wait 40 minutes to receive my order and the food was poorly prepared, it was not cooked well.
Really bad service. The cashier has a bad attitude don't like talk or call me to give me my food. She just put on the counter and don't say nothing letting cold my food.
I ordered on the mobile app ..Payed for the extra sauces...ON THE APP....and the manager didn't give ME the sauce said it was in there I had to pay again. I mean if I'm double paying for sauce y u have an attitude about it...the day previously I picked up pancakes and had to load my kids back up in the truck...AFTER WE UNLOADED AT HOTEL to drive back because they said they gave me syrup...TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT
The first time I go, the inside is locked at lunch time and a mile of cars through drive thru, I went to sonic. I go at 6:30pm tonight and it’s closed due to maintenance. Geez!! Never mind! Maybe 3rd time is a charm!?
Inconsiderate policies, I waited in the drive thru and told NEXT time use the app because I was on foot. I'm a truck driver. Then all of the sudden someone else gets on the speaker and Ridley says " you have to use the app" very rude people. This is how they treat truckers, the ones who make their job/business possible. I never got my food, and will never go to this location again. Rude
Went there this morning for breakfast. Had to go through the drive through twice because they forgot an order of hash browns. Then when I get to my hotel I realize they got my order completely wrong. I ordered 2 bacon egg and cheese McGriddles and a sausage egg and cheese McMuffin. What I got was a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and 2 sausage McGriddles without any egg or cheese! Ridiculous! Not to mention I was like literally the only customer so how they could mess up my order is just baffling!
Terrible service, dirty sitting area and disgusting drink dispensers. Looks like they never clean up. They hardly fill up the self service station so you have to always ask for a straw or drink lid. And then the workers give you attitude because they have to actually help a customer. Every employee has a miserable look on their face just showing how much they love their jobs. Worst place ever
I’d give this place no stars if it was allowed. I never eat at mc D’s but my coworker insisted on stopping. Looooonnnnngggg waits over 20 min to get a #3 and 2 double cheese burgers. Yes it is an oilfield driven town but 20 min is unacceptable.
AVOID THIS LOCATION!!! Really bad customer service. I think they need to b trained to talk to people. To greet. To thank. To smile. To b polite. To work efficiently. Very Bad service!! Waited over 5 min in drive thru we never got a welcome or can you please give us a minute something !! Pull up to window and still don’t acknowledge us manager walks to window texting on her phone and gets a drink and walks back to the back !! One guy walks up and says you didn’t order and when I tell him you never took our order he complains about being short staffed and says my manager is going to send you back around!!! Really!!!! They had 3 cars in-line !! Come next door to the sonic they took order a soon as we drove up !!!
Worst McDonald’s, in town for work. Stopped In for breakfast all they had available was oatmeal and hashbrowns. Then stopped in a day or so later in the afternoon super slow service saw them put my food in the bag and drink by it and sat there land waited another 10 minutes before it was given to me. Definitely won’t return to this location
Spent over 5 minutes at drive threw and never got service. Went to window no one there. Went to front of restaurant to find the staff sitting in lounge while open eating breakfast ignoring guests at doors and windows and when guests got upset and started knocking they grabbed there stuff and went to back of restaurant to hide. Had a line of over 6 cars sitting in drive threw not including me and two other guests who gave up and left after knocking and being completely ignored. Manager and entire staff should be fired they don't work when they are there. might as well not have anyone there at all at least then you won't have an endless line of irate guests waiting on someone who is never gonna come. By far worst establishment I've ever been to. Pathetically managed. A total waste of space. Better off putting a jack in the box in its place might actually get service while open.
Poor customer service, very dirty place. If you go inside and see the condition of cleanliness, no one wants to eat food there. My kids were hungry and insisted to eat which is why I had to order to go. They used to provide 2 syrups for order on hot cakes and now it’s only 1. If you want extra, you have to pay. Unbelievable!!!
Update 08/24 This place is still trash and don’t know how to serve the customer. The manager on duty at 1:30 needs to take a training on customer service. It shouldn’t take 3 people to take your order and neither knew what they were doing. ………. OLD ReviewThere is nothing fast about this fast food restaurant. I’ve had to drive out of line before I pay because of how extremely slow it is. I’m here now I paid at 1:09 and it’s now 1:26! I’m not a satisfied customer at all! The sad thing is there is no other McDonald’s here so people from here have no choice but to not come or to put up with it.

Who ever runs or owns this place really needs to take a closer look. dozens of cars are missed simply because 8 is closing time. If you come in at 7:30pm depending or how many people they have they will make sure to take as little orders from there till 8pm they take approximately 5 minutes per car in just taking the orders. at 7:55 all lights turn off. they really save on light bill since they are on from 7 till 7:55. from the two drive thru they have, for over a year they only use one. From the three windows they have for service the primary one is always closed which they can use for those quick order such as (cones or coffees etc) but no they make you wait until the second window in order to extend the time per order. seriously evening crew needs to step up , management needs to take a closer look or ownership needs to step in to improve this place. I know this might not be from them but the app has many issues, if you place an order at 6pm the app only provides breakfast items and when you think you placed your order it did not go thru.
Employees very rude they asked everyone to do our orders but we were having trouble selecting them. I asked for help and they told me that they were “busy” and had the time to talk and laugh with some other people. I told them we can wait and told me again we are busy! The other family was very disappointed like us and we all just left. Very imperfect! Never coming here again.
Without a doubt, the worst customer service experience at a McDonald's I've had yet. Apparently this location caters specifically to drive thru customers first and foremost. When I finally got my order, I asked for a manager, the lady who served me was one. I started to tell her how poor the service was and she my sentence with "it sucks, I know, sorry for that". She even confirmed the wait time 770 seconds(12 minutes) for a single burrito and a sausage McMuffin. Owner needs to address this immediately. I will not return to this location.
The employee was really rude and I had a couple questions and he kept on replying really fast like he in a rush for us to leave. Not just that he did not ask if everything was ok, or if we needed something else and just slam the door. Causing for us to stay longer and wait till he came back. I only needed one cup of ice and when he handed it to me he made an bad expression like really bothered about it. My food was done very tasteless and my egg McMuffin bread was cold.Very dissatisfied.
If I could give this review less than a star, I would...I ordered a #2 at 11:32 in drive thru and received my order at 11:45. Nothing special or complicated on this order. 13 minutes is just unacceptable. And no napkins to boot.

Very poor management, either they have a problem getting a simple order correct EVERYTIME, and when forced to use the mobile app or drive thru the wait seems to always be at least 15 minutes or more, or they constantly have the doors to the restaurant locked and forced to use drive-thru, this place needs a major facelift, along with a new management team.

I had never spent 50 minutes waiting for 3 burgers at a McDonald's (40 of which were after paying for our dinner). This was from 6.20pm to 7.10pm on 1/5/2025. Terrible experience. I recommend avoiding this McDonald's specifically.

Food was the only thing good. Waited 10 minutes to place my order. The whole staff ignores you. Pretends you don’t exist with 5 of the staff sitting there wondering what to do. Then when I did get my order it took another 10 minutes for a 6 piece nugget. The three ahead of me, all their orders were wrong too. The owner operator should fire the staff or retrain them. Worst experience in my life at a McDonalds. Never going back to that one again.
Please do yourself a favor and don't come to this McDonald's. I have given too many chances to this specific McDonald's and every time it keeps on failing me. This last time, it took 25, mins to get my food (went down to get my food to go), then did not had my coffee, which didn't tell me in advance, and lastly wasted another 10 mins getting a refund. Horrible experience!
I been waiting in line for 25 to 30 minutes just for them to tell me that there's nothing ready. That there super short staffed and only have one cook. They could've lead with that. I just went a head and ask for my refund. McDonald's in cotulla is a joke. Ridiculous!
Stopped by this morning around 8 am to grab breakfast. Ordered at kiosk, food took long to be ready even though there was only 1 order before us. Place was really disgusting, tables not cleaned, floor had what seemed like honey mustard splattered all over, trash everywhere. There seem to be no manager at that time. Food was ok.
Just bought two sausage egg and cheese which both are completely undercooked… The eggs melted out of the sand which. Absolutely disgusting!!! They also forgot to give the extra hash brown. DO NOT GO TO THIS MCCDONALDS! They should all be fired for even serving something like this!
This is a very poorly managed place with unacceptable customer service. I stood waiting for over five minutes and there was no staff available to assist me. Later, when I was told to place an order, even ordering a single drink took more than 20 minutes to prepare, while staff were sitting around doing nothing. I have never experienced such disrespectful and careless service anywhere else. What kind of business treats its customers this way? Who is responsible for this situation, and who will be refunding my money?
The employee that served me was disrespectful and looks dirty and wasn’t even dress in uniform right. She was arguing with an employee right infront of my face who was trying to help me. I believe her name started with Jan and had a B for her last name. I will definitely not be coming back.
After an hour they still didn’t serve no one their food who came to dine-in ,we ended up leaving
i order just 4 coffes and a L french fries and took 20 minutes and one of the coffes was cold ask to change it and take another 10 minutes more, they just freze and askto cancel didnt do it just ask for my ticket and left the store

Really bad attitude, person attending today 11/20 @ 718am the drive thru was really rude kind of she was in a hurry and was not giving me a chance to even order my next meal when I was asked in a rude tone what else, are you ordering anything else. Very unprofessional wanting me to hurry up with my order when I was asking my children what they wanted to drink. There was no car next to me nor behind me for her to be talking that rude, I even asked her if she was in a rush, didn't mute the headset and hear her cussed at me, when asked what had she said she denied.

I was in town on business and thought it would be a quick option to stopping in somewhere to eat, boy was I wrong. I sat in the Drive-Thru line for about 50 minutes and when I finally got my order my drink was watered down and melted and my fries were ice cold and my burger didn't have any sauce on it. I asked the lady for fries that weren't cold and I got the exact same fries back but just refried, you can tell they're extra greasy and extra salty. Plus the grease they use must not have been changed recently because the fries have an off stale smell. I definitely threw this in the trash the second I left. I'm not sure what the issue is or where the breakdown in service is but it is a very serious issue and if I owned that McDonald's I would be super upset.
Don’t show up when they open and expect anything to be ready. You still have to wait 30 minutes after you order even though you’re the second car in line and then they still managed to give you the wrong food 30 minutes later.
Completed mobile order at 3:30 pm and visited this location at 3:36 pm. Drive through was never attended to and I decided to walk into the restaurant. My mobile order took an additional 20-30 minutes for pick up (1 burger) but what really bothered me as a customer with a disability was to see how unsafe and disregarded this restaurant is. Please see fotos below! In addition none of the employees were wearing their headsets to attend to drive through customers. This is unacceptable!!!! Due to this review I was able to make some changes to the store like replacing the locked entrance door and better upkeep of the restaurant.
