This place is FANTASTIC! Awesome, lovely staff! So helpful and great energy. Everything on the menu will rock your socks off! Clean and cute, hit this place up!
Their sandwich are amazing! I've never had their food here since most boba places' food are too snacky or a hit and miss. My friend had ordered a chicken sandwich, and the sandwich was delicious! They included fries, which they were able to make it super crunchy?! I had the popcorn chicken, and it was pretty good! They have fried garlic which I think is a yummy interesting add for flavor! The go to here is generally roasted oolong, brown sugar milk tea, or their dragon fruit smooth (it is pretty unique and delicious). I think this place have been here since the beginning of time when I was in hs, I am glad they were able to rebrand and continue! Private parking lot available, and bathroom as well. Not a huge area for dine in, but there is about 2 tables and bar chairs.
$3.30 HK milk tea ($4 with boba), drinkable, but pre-mixed with sugar. Some of the best fries and "house" sauce i've had, choose your flavored seasoning (I think I chose sour cream 'n onion). The popcorn chicken looks good too, with basil, I think. Seems to be an authentic classic HK snack joint... and with this, I found my home. I'm def moving into the SGV, near the southern hills!! normally I order 25% sugar, then on the second day, while ordering, the receptionist remembered me and said "less sugar"? I said "yuup." Turns out that directly translates to 75% sugar (maybe need to say "a little" or "some" sugar?). Thankfully, to my surprise, it was actually drinkable, and didn't completely ruin my teeth. real tea, fresh boba, though on the melted side, not stuffed with ice by default
I recently visited Twinkle Tea and had to come back a second time (in the same week). Although I live in Los Angeles, I now make a weekly commute to Alhambra for Twinkle Tea and the drive is more than worth it! This hidden gem offers exceptional service, fair prices, and heavenly tea and food! If you're a tea lover like me, do yourself a favor and pay a visit to Twinkle Tea. It's a treasure that deserves all the stars and more! I have explored a multitude of tea shops both in Los Angeles and throughout California such as Latea, Creek Tea, It's Boba Time, Boba Bear, Wushiland Boba, Tan-Cha, Tea Brick, Tiger Sugar Boba, Boba Guys, Sharetea, Sunright Tea, Ume Tea, Yifang Tea, Jungle Boba, Cup O' Joy, Dr. T House, AU79, and many others. However, Twinkle Tea is an overall winner due to their top quality/fresh teas (yes, they use real fruits), exceptional customer service, free/available parking (ease for pickups), and competitive prices. While other tea shops may excel in one area, Twinkle Tea consistently delivers all of these qualities, making it standout. Menu Recommendations: 1. Milk Tea: I recommend trying the ‘Jasmine Green Milk Tea’ customized with lavender, honey, oat milk, and 75% sugar (available hot or iced). 2. Fruit Tea: Try their ‘Twinkle Fruit Tea,’ with light ice, 75% sugar, and your choice of topping. Note that this drink already comes with many real fruit pieces! 3. Food: Their ‘House Beef Sandwich’ and ‘Takoyaki’ are delicious! Update: If you like Starbucks refreshers try Twinkle’s “Red Dragonfruit Lemonade” (pictured) and if you’re an Oreo lover try their “Oreo Milk Tea” (also pictured)
Twinkle Tea has some pretty good drinks. I usually order the Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Boba and popcorn chicken and both items don't disappoint. The service is pretty quick as well so I didn't wait long at all. The atmosphere is kinda modern on the inside but the place is more like a take-out instead of a dine in place. I would recommend this place if you're in the area. Overall, great experience and would come back to get snacks or eat a meal.
We ordered from kiosk n super convenient! Got takoyaki (super delicious, even better than some Japanese restaurants), egg waffle (crispy goodness), and 4 drinks before the start of our LA trip. All drinks are delicious. I usually get 50% sugar in sd, but here sugar is just right! No adjustment needed. LA food n drinks are on point!
Excellent boba and milk teas. They have a wide variety of milk teas and also have some of the best boba in the area. I also recommend some of their snacks, their Taiwanese popcorn chicken is well seasoned and comes with different sauces. I like getting the jasmine green tea with different flavors such as lychee or rose. I recommend 75% sweet and less ice to have a flavorful tea without being overly sweet.
I had the iced uji matcha latte with what boba and marshmallow brick toast. I was not a fan of the agar boba and kindly asked them to switch for regular boba and they did it. Great customer service. The matcha was a classic taste and not too milky or sweet. The agar boba was tough tasteless and the regular boba was sweet and chewy. The brick toast is obviously very aesthetic the marshmallow and chocolate is amazing but maybe the toast a lil too thick because I get too much of a bread taste. That being said the inside bread melts in your mouth and the crust is crunchy.
Great place to grab some cool drinks for hot days. I love the taste of the boba here compared to other local boba spots. They have a big menu and their service is pretty fast.
Used to order from here all the time during lockdowns, now i go and get my teas and snacks in person while working. It's one of my favorite spots to loiter and enjoy a good drink.
My go to boba tea place for 17 years, I started coming here when my daughter was 15 years old, I used to order several tea drinks to go for her teenage friends in high school. Well, she’s nearly 32 years old now, and now I can come and hang out here with my girlfriend. Both of our daughters are medical doctors now, so we can now kick back, relax, order our brick toasts, popcorn chicken, and our favorite boba tea flavors and just hang out. Those busy crazy parenting days are over, and we enjoy seeing the patrons come in and pick up their drinks to take home to their family. There’s limited seating, but the prices are decent, and we’ve known some of the staff for some time, although some are new. It’s centrally located on Valley Boulevard, and there is enough parking to stop in and get your favorite teas. They’ve decorated for the holidays, so it’s festive inside. I order from the electronic kiosks, my girlfriend orders from the counter. Join the membership and you can get discounted drinks after you buy several drinks, accumulating points as you purchase the items. It’s close to several restaurants that we frequently go to, so after a decent meal, we head over to Twinkle Tea to hang out before going back to our respective homes. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed.
Great happy hour drink choices. Very speedy food prep as well. Everything was very yummy. We got the tokoyali, and snack combo which included fries, nuggies and popcorn chicken. Portions of food was very generous for the price paid
I found my favorite boba place. It was so good and price is very reasonable. Brown sugur snowie is the best
Wonderful first-time experience! I had the Avocado and Mango Smoothie. They use real fruit instead of syrup. The combination was delicious. Very creamy and perfectly balanced and not too sweet at all. The inside is clean, and with a couple of tables to sit at while waiting. Most of the customer's orders are mostly take out. Service is friendly and efficient.
Was looking for a quick boba spot with my girlfriend and fiveb that there are many in the area, we wanted to check this place out since it was highly rated and happened to be close. It's a tiny little shop but Don be mistaken, their boba is absolutely fantastic. My girlfriend got grapefruit tea with green tea with mango popping boba and me an oreo slushie with oreo boba. I have to say I am not a boba person hut this spot is absolutely delicious and highly reccomend it to anyone wanting a good boba. The atmosphere is like your average boba spot, nothing super fancy since it is small but their menu makes up for it as well as their boba.
Twinkle Tea is an absolute delight! Their fruit tea is so refreshing and perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness. The fresh fruit chunks make it even better, adding a natural flavor and texture. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. A must-visit spot for anyone craving quality tea drinks!
A charming cafe hidden along the streets of AlHambra. Staff here are very warm and friendly, I felt like I was being welcomed into an old friend's home. Must try the fishball curry, a perfect snack during this cold weather...the curry is very flavorful and would go well with some steamed rice. Nuggets had a crispy coating and their signature sauce had body & was perfectly balanced between sweet + tangy. The seasalt foam Thai Tea had a thick layer of cream on top, took a while for the tea to breakthrough...the cream itself is worth the drink. If you need dessert, have the sweet butter marshmallow toast, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream + condensed milk drizzle...you won't regret the calories !! Later in the evening this spot comes to life with upbeat music and the chatter of a young crowd. Ample parking in the back and the cafe is close to many banks.
Their store is clean and the bubble tea is delicious. They have very reasonable prices too. It was only $3.50 for the Hong Kong milk tea with boba. I will definitely come back!
I've been wanting to come here for some time now. Finally came here with a couple of friends. I got the watermelon jasmine green tea. It was good and refreshing for the 90 degree weather. Will definitely come back in the future for other drinks.
I'm having mango mania right now this place is amazing
Cozy little boba place. There is a self order machine so very convenient. Their fruit tea is amazing with lots of fruit and good amouof sweetness, so refreshing. Remember to add their seasalt/cheesecream foam for your tea 😉
Very cute place to get boba and sit down. Super friendly cashier, he was so patient with my order. The boba itself it’s so soft and squishy. We order jasmine green tea and brown sugar milk tea. Will come again

I've been coming here for years. This is my go to spot for something sweet. Drinks are super yummy! Lots of savory snack options too.
Love getting tea here! On Fantuan it's like about $4 for what I want and it's delicious! I get the strawberry green tea, the latest I tried was their milk tea with pudding and that was also really good!

Prices are good. Drinks are good. Boba is meh. Egg waffle is below average, tastes almost bread like. Sweet potato fries are to be avoided. I didn't even know that it's possible to make them taste bad.
I love the flavor options and the ability to customize the drinks! Plus the packaging is super cute!! It's just a little small for bigger groups.
The prices are very reasonable! I got a HK iced milk tea for $3 plus tax, that’s unheard of nowadays! The drink was made quickly and efficiently. My only qualm with the drink was that it tasted a bit powdery, maybe they used some non dairy with it that made it that way. But the flavor is very good and taste just like HK milk tea, would definitely come back to try more!
Popular among the local especially students during the after-school hours. It might take some time for waiting in line of ordering and picking up food. The beverage, milk tea and Taiwanese snack all taste good. The recommended Twinkle Fruit tea has many fruit particles inside while one can choose from different tea bases. (Which makes me comfortable when selecting Chrysanthemum one late at night with no caffeine). Egg waffles are somehow crispy and smell so good. Chicken Nuggets are cheap during the promotion period. Sometimes they use fancy design of the cup. Open till the very late at night. Also to be good choices for dinning in the late hours in evening.
stopped by twinkle tea in alhambra for some bubble tea. space itself is very small with maybe two tables plus some bar seating, and doesn’t feel the cleanest. upon entering you order at kiosks (or you can order online beforehand) and they’ll text you when order is ready. got a lychee milk smoothie and strawberry milk smoothie w/ boba for the kids and liked that we could select 25% for sweetness - it was perfect and the kids loved it. i ordered the red bean milk smoothie w/ boba (50% sweet) and it may probably be the best red bean smoothie i’ve ever had - smooth and creamy, cold but without the annoying chunks of ice, and perfectly sweet. boba was a good texture. egg waffles were a bit disappointing - chocolate was good but regular flavor was a bit off the traditional taste. plus it took forever for the egg waffles to be done and they still didn’t achieve that crunchy on the outside/chewy on the inside texture. would come back just for bubble tea next time.
They have a great selection of mixed tea drinks, with an assortment of toppings. They have been around for a long time, so they have really mastered the boba tea drinks. Stop by and check them out.
They get super busy. You enter on the door in the right and the exit the door on the left (closest to the street). You can call in your order so it’s ready by the time you get there. You still have to wait in line to pay for the drink tho. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Drinks: Hk lemon tea is good and they have a weekday happy hour special for that. Fruit tea was good and super refreshing. We came here 3x and we’re always meh about it. After trying out different drinks all the times we’ve been here, we’d say it’s a solid spot. Drinks are consistent. 50% for all drinks is our preference. Snacks: Egg puff was nice and crispy. I wish it was mochi egg puff but it hit the spot. Parking: There’s a small tiny lot but like I said, it gets busy. To make it easier to get in and out, I park on the small residential street beside it and just walk on over if I see that the lot is full.

Randomly ran pass by this place but will definitely return. The tea flavor was great and there was lots of variety to choose from.
This time I came by for some small bites, Fried Tofu was my favorite, it had great crispy texture w/ there signature sauce. I really liked the sweet potato fries & Hong Kong pancake too. I would definitely get the tofu everytime. I’ve been coming here since it first opened and I haven’t been back in awhile. But every is pretty good, for a boba spot w/ a good amount of drink and food options. No seating inside, you can self order on kiosk, I usually place an online order for pickup. They have a rewards system on the toast website. I like how they have a small parking lot w/ a few spots, right next to the Bank of America. But plenty of street parking around. I would say their drinks are good. My favorites would be Honey Fluffy GT, Rose GMT, Sea Salt Thai Tea, Hawaiian Fruit Tea. They have a happy hour deal on HK (Hong Kong) lemon iced tea or HK Milk Tea for $2.99. Very good deal for a good classic drink!

First time here, heard about this boba shop from a friend. I tried their most popular drink on the menu: brown sugar milk tea with boba. For me, I couldn’t taste much of tea flavor, not creamy/rich from the milk, boba was good and chewy. Next time, I will try something else and update my review.
I'm a huge fan of taro milk tea (when it's done right). I wanted to try out this spot's taro milk tea bc of their cute cup designs, so I did everything normal, ie. 100% sweetness / normal ice. Sadly, the TARO MILK TEA would was underwhelming. It tasted like mostly milk and only has the pretty purple color but I could barely taste any taro :(. I’ll try something else next time but personally, I would NOT order the taro milk tea again from here.
Hadn't been here in a couple months since I moved out of the area. My sister and I got 2 drinks and they were disgusting. The salted Thai tea tasted like artificial sweetener and corn syrup, couldn't even taste the black tea or coffee jelly. The brown sugar milk tea tasted watered down and had a strange aftertaste. I don't know what happened... This place used to be good. We'll be throwing our drinks away ($12 to the trash).
This place has been here for years. Finally decided to give it another shot and I'm not exactly sure how you can screw my order for the 2nd time. I ordered drink with boba, no ice. They gave me no ice no boba. The same exact problem happened last time which is why I stopped coming back for a while. How does this keep happening?
