We reserved Marty B’s for a wedding rehearsal dinner in late February. Absolutely everything was perfect, people loved the pulled pork sliders and all the sides. The service was excellent and the upstairs area is beautiful. Servers constantly checking on people, knowing when I (the host) could use a water without me asking and noticing the few that had a hard time getting to the bar for drinks and serving them table-side. They were willing to help with anything and setup was a breeze. I would use Marty B’s for every event, they were that good.
We had an incredible experience at Marty B’s thanks to Ben Lux! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. He made great recommendations, kept our drinks full, and made sure everything was perfect. His positive attitude and professionalism truly stood out. Ben made our night even more enjoyable—ask for him when you visit!
Marty B's was an experience! It was cold today but they have heaters from the ceiling and the stand up ones so it was warm. There is a ton of waitstaff so we were tended to immediately. There is outdoor seating and indoor. The outdoor seating had a bar, tvs and a stage for live music. There are plenty of outdoor games and a cool fireplace for the kids. They have an upstairs for private events amd open seating. I want all of my birthday parties here from now on YO!
Hospitality is the engine across the board by the staff that drives Marty B’s and the BBQ is legit. The mix of family’s, a bar, and music venue is rare but how it’s presented here really works. Stop by the place as it won’t disappoint and say Hi to Marty or Matt or Paunch or Canda… all great hosts!
Great great great place. In town for work and drive by many times. Wish I had stopped in sooner. Will definitely be back again. Had brisket tamale's and pull pork tacos. Very reasonable priced for such a great place and entertainment
The staff was very friendly and ready to make our dinner the best way possible. The food is always great here but it seems every time we come back it keeps getting better! Overall very impressed and I can't say enough about this place! Try the jalapen̈os!

We have been meaning to try Marty B's for a LONG time. My BBQ-loving in-laws were in town recently, making for a perfect excuse to go. It is a lively, fun atmosphere with a family friendly outdoor patio. There is plenty of parking. The service was great and the food delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of options on the menu. My in-laws loved their BBQ, and my husband and I loved our TexMex entrees. My husband and I noticed that their bar looks like the perfect place to catch a game, and the two of us will be back sooner than later.
I love coming here with my dad for lunch!! The food is amazing and there are delicious lunch menu items not avaliable on their dinner menus. Kella was our server and she was the BEST!! My dad drinks a lot of tea (5 glasses this visit) and she kept it full with tea and ice for him. Highly recommend asking for her!
Pork chop is stunning, crispy thin outside with some nice dry rub. Their cocktails also very good, side recommand for grill asparagus. BBQ with nice smoky flavor but I like more moisture type. The owner always walking around and take care of you and small taking, atmosphere is very nice. Love this local restaurant.
Great atmosphere with a fantastic band, food was good, mixed drinks were good. Outdoor seating was a great space to be in and wasn't too warm in the evening. Big fans to cool things off
Came earlier today for lunch with a good friend of mine and had a great experience. Had the fish tacos for lunch (as is) and enjoyed them m. The service was excellent as I’ve come accustomed to at the Marty B franchises. The atmosphere was relatively busy but quiet enough to enjoy a lunch catching up with a good friend. Recommend!
Update 08/09/2025: Marty B’s now offers blue cheese dressing for their fabulous smoked wings!! Thank you so much, on behalf of all wing purists. The food and service remain outstanding. We recommend many things on the menu, but today the Hill Country Strawberry Salad and the green chili Mac and cheese with brisket were fantastic. Absolutely excellent food and service with an ice house/Texas BBQ ambiance. The smoked and fried wings are excellent (BUT PLEASE OFFER BLUE CHEESE DRESSING IN ADDITION TO RANCH FOR US WING PURISTS), as are the burgers, brisket sandwich, onion rings, fries, and strawberry salad. Looking forward to our second visit in the future, because I forgot to take pictures!
We are big Marty B’s fans. We live an hour away but will drive over about once a month to eat here. Today was one of the best experiences. Our food is always great but today, it was extra delicious and the waiter was probably the best we’ve had anywhere. Elliot was super attentive and helpful. My husband loves the Marty’s margarita but today, they were having trouble getting it right. Elliot took it back until it came out right. We actually weren’t going to send it back the second time, but Elliot insisted that they get it right. He never acted as if it was an inconvenience. When the mayo was left off my husband’s plate, he noticed without us asking. He was there every time our glass emptied. He was just absolutely amazing. I am adding pictures of our food. I got the stuffed poblano and my husband got the bacon cheeseburger with brisket. Both dishes are amazing. On top of it all, we have never eaten here that a manager or the owner has not visited our table to make sure everything is good. This place truly knows their food and how to treat their customers. We will continue to drive over for this great establishment.
This was our first time dining here . It was recommended by a local. We’re from out of state staying in Denton for the week and wanted to go somewhere we could eat , have some drinks, but enjoy a laid back friendly atmosphere. MB’s checked all the boxes . Food can be a little pricey but it’s phenomenal. I ordered a Ribeye and my husband ordered a bbq plate . We also ordered chips and salsa for our appetizer and everything was perfect . The establishment is very classy in appearance but we never felt like it wasn’t laid back . Our waitress was amazing ! Drinks never went dry , kept our waters full . Checked on us regularly . Seating didn’t take long at all . It was a little noisy but they were very busy . After we ate , we went outside to the music/bar area and it was great ! The seating was picnic tables on top of astroturf , but it was very clean . The band started at 7pm and we ordered drinks and food is also available outdoors . It was a family oriented place . Staff greeted us and shook hands , kids were having a blast on the dance floor , and not to mention very safe environment because they kept sheriffs watching at entrances but they were very nice also taking pictures with kids . Loved it and highly highly recommend.
Marty B’s - FM-407 & IT Neely Dr (Bartonville) This is a great wholesome family place, full of upbeat employees, music and the food is grown with ranchers who don’t use hormones or antibiotics. I came here with my family to enjoy great company and relax. Overall food was great. I do think some portions are not priced well. One of the dishes we ordered was “Chargrilled Chicken Breast” - $18.99. The portion was small. You can tell they basically cut a chicken breast in half and spread it open to make it look like a big portion. Nonetheless, the dish was very delicious and I would still recommend it. I would price it at $14.99, based on portion size. We also ordered, “Brisket Tacos,” “Marty B’s Salad” and “Chicken Quarter with Brisket.” My family overall enjoyed their meal and we would certainly return here. Our server was so kind and accommodating. She kept coming by and checking on us to make sure we were comfortable and had plenty of refills on our drinks. They also offer live music in their oversized covered patio area that can accommodate over 70 people. If you eat in the patio area, you have an option for a completely different menu list than eating inside. Towards the grand entrance, if you’re patriotic, you’ll love a Texas-Sized, American flag. To the left of the entrance, you will find a modern style fireplace and additional outdoor seating with tables. Parking can be tricky. Depending on when you get here, you can park right up front, or during busy times, keep circling around. They also offer additional parking lot across from them, next to 7-Eleven gas station.
First time here and it was a great experience. Wait for 2 was only 20 minutes so we headed to the bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and made strong. Had our table faster then quoted and server attention was excellent. 3 meat plate with brisket, pulled pork, and smoked turkey with green beans was awesome. Meats could have been a little warmer but we're still good. Dessert is a must have!

Cool place with a great atmosphere. Food was okay with two of our six meals being a bit overcooked. Pork tacos were a little dry as a result and the Smoked Chicked tacos had good flavor but were a bit tough. Other then those two things we had a great time on 80's night. Will most likely try it again.
This was our first time visiting for their Oktoberfest event. Overall, it was fun, but we would have loved to see more activities and to actually hear the music inside. We tried sitting on the patio, but the menu there was more limited. For food, we ordered the turkey and the chicken quarter. Both were very tasty, but the chicken definitely stood out—the turkey was a little dry around the edges. The service and atmosphere were excellent, which made the experience enjoyable. That said, it would have been nice to see more Oktoberfest-themed food and beer options. They offered one Oktoberfest beer and bratwurst, but we expected a wider selection. A few menu adjustments could also make a big difference—for example, the option to order items individually (like the poblano), grilling wings instead of only frying, offering white meat for smoked chicken (not just dark meat), adjusting pricing so half-pound orders are exactly half the price of a full pound, and have better prices for drinks.
Interesting fairly new bar-restaurant-outdoor patio with a cool party atmosphere. Great place to go with some friends for drinks etc. Their food all has their own take on it. For example their ail gratin potatoes are more like Alfredo potatoes. They're brisket meatloaf is nothing like normal meatloaf. Is that bad...? Only if you are expecting what you are expecting. If we go back I think we'll just stick to it appetizers. Recommend as a fun place to grab some drinks with friends.
Recently visited Marty B’s. As you pass through, you would see the whole ambience that this place holds. We went for dinner and the place was buzzing with people and music. It was a great experience. We got seated immediately and the service was top notch. For dinner we had their fillet steak, brisket tacos, 2 meat platter where we got the brisket moist and ribs. Sides had au gratin potatoes, baked sweet potato and mashed potatoes. For the kids, we got the tenders. Everything tasted good, but for the brisket, I would go for lean rather than moist because it was too fatty. There wasn’t much actual meat. Side salad, tacos, ribs were all great ! Steak was super expensive but tasted like any other steak. Nothing special. There is more than enough parking and a small pond to chill by. The ambience was super nice !
Too few food options, too noisy when you are there eating and too noisy for Lantana houses across the street who were there before this restaurant opened. No wine that I like.

Menu features traditional home-cooked, BBQ and Tex-Mex dishes along with a full bar range of drink options. Had lunch with a friend at Marty B's recently. Environs are great, service very friendly. Meal was not great. Caesar salad was ok, grilled chicken was very dry. Also, the grilled redfish order should have been much better. The fillet was tired, over-grilled, tough and chewy. Side of asparagus was however, very good. Expected better from the meal considering the prices being charged but did like the dining environs and found Marty B's to be a fun place to eat at with friends and family.
