The cuisine is exceptional, and the service is outstanding! This restaurant offers excellent value. I consider it a place where one can enjoy superb food at a competitive price. This establishment is among my preferred dining choices.
I like this place a lot. Quality food, good flavor, kind staff. It’s not a fancy restaurant but I really appreciate its existence. Prices reasonable. Some of the food can take a while but service is good. Haven’t had a bad meal in the ten years I have eaten here. The menu is pretty large. Take out is great, too.
Great food, happy hour and family friendly setting!
Very tasty vegetarian options! The rolls are few but varied; they toast very delicious. Must recommend the spicy edamame as an appetizer! Super good!
Had a really enjoyable sushi bar experience. Rolls were unique and very tasty. The atmosphere and decor has a run down feel but this didn't seems to affect any of their great food. We will definitely be revisiting. Staff was all around nice and attentive.
Amazing all you can eat. Will be back
The food was great and came fast. The spicy edamame is fabulous. Definitely a yakitori expert in the kitchen too.
Haven't been to Miso since the plandemic... the family went tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday. He ordered pepperfin and sashimi, Delicious. Dear Daughter had pork katsu curry, also very good. Mom (89) had a bento box which she liked. I ordered the lobster tempura that somehow became the lobster roll. I didn't mind because not only was it very delicious it was absolutely beautiful. Service here is always very good, this time was no exception!
Stopped by a few minutes before close for a quick meal. Although we were the only ones there, they treated us great. Food was fresh and made with style. Enjoyed!
My favorite sushi in Sacramento. Excellent quality and wonderfully kind staff. I would recommend sitting at the bar to chat with the chef! Also, their secret yakiudon sauce is to die for.
This was our first time here. There was 5 of us. The food was so fresh and you could taste the quality. We drove up from Elk Grove and it was worth it. We will definitely come back here. The rolls are nice sized and we had enough food for everyone. We love how they serve their edamame. The udon noodles were super yummy. I loved that we tried something new and not a chain.
Absolutely bussin Deep Sea Tsunami, best sushi roll I've had in a long time. I love it. Would leave my wife for it. Update: I left my wife and kids for this food. I stayed and got seconds. Not even my wife could make me this excited.
I had all you can eat so I could try different rolls 😋 to know my preference. I really enjoyed the princess and godzilla.. my husband loves more of the spicy side and he ordered the kiss of death and sneaky devil and those where really good perfect spice levels ✨️ . We tried also the tonkatsu ramen and nabeyaki upon. I enjoyed more of the tonkatsu because it was very flavorful broth and even the pork was grilled and just made the ramen even more delicious. The nabeyaki was more chicken based soup which I still ate all of it to not waste food but it wasn't for me it was more basic but I ordered because I wanted udon noodles more then regular noodles. I highly recommend this place because it was very delicious food, and very attentive service. Best all you can eat sushi in Sacramento for the price $28/each during happy hour from 2:30 to 5 Monday through Friday. Nicest owners. a married couple. They’re wonderful. The fish quality in the sushi is just fantastic. My wife and I are regulars here and I can’t recommend it enough. Great rolls!!! Highly highly recommend. Fresh, Kiss of Death, and Sake Punch rolls are the bomb!
We came here on a Wednesday afternoon for my sisters birthday. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was really good and fresh. We ordered, hamachi collar, wagyu and otoro nigiri, lobster roll spicy, flame of love, & miso roll. It was a great experience and I will definitely come back.
I visited this cute little restaurant a couple weeks ago. I was very impressed by both the food and the service. The older lady was so kind, warm and patient with me. I did not know what to pick but I'm glad I went with the bento box. I decided to try sushi and give it a chance despite not liking seafood. I'm glad I gave it a chance at this restaurant because I think this will be the spot where I expand my horizons. I cannot wait to drive out to Sacramento and give them another visit. I totally recommend this place that serves you deliciously beautiful food.
Amazing sushi! We got the course b all you can eat and it was so worth it!! Will be back.
Good sushi at an affordable price! Been going here for years and the never disappoint! They have a great deal if you buy the sushi boat. You can try a lot! Good service and food comes fast
Jerry and Lukas were awesome the food was delicious, I can't wait to go back!
Can't recommend enough! Parking is a bit of hassle but the sushi is incredible!
We had nigiri and a couple rolls. Everything was really good and the fish was good quality. The servers were really sweet. Cozy and relaxing dining experience.
My wife and I FINALLY stopped in at Miso. We were blown away! Aga dashi tofu, spicy edamame, a5 wagyu nigiri, and the Kiss of Death sushi roll. And two (tall) draft Sapporos, of course. All of it was excellent, so fresh. Great service, super friendly staff, and fair prices. Stop driving by and/or waiting 45 minutes for that Tower Cafe table across the street, instead, come support this small business as you won't be disappointed.

A great restaurant just across the street from The Tower Theater. I had the stuffed jalapeños and the flaming love. Both were rich and flavorful, with the flaming love roll not only being really creative (a roll they pour flaming white wine over, which cooks the salmon and rice slowly as the wine flavor is soaked by the meat and rice) but has a flavor that unfolds in your mouth as you eat it. I usually like some ginger and wasabi on the side but I figured if they didn't serve it along with the roll it must have been for a reason and I was right, the roll is wholly satisfying without them. The atmosphere is really cool too and the staff was really nice. A great little restaurant.
Great place, great service, awesome sushi 🍣. Next time I go I will post a picture for you all of the quality. They also have a happy hour.
We really enjoyed our lunch! All the food was fresh and came out quick. We loved both rolls we tried (the Sneaky Devil and Scooby Doo) and also really enjoyed the calamari rings. Can’t wait to come back and try more. The service was excellent!
Miso is one of my favorite places to get sushi and a bento box! The bento boxes come with lots of food and are reasonably priced. Their teriyaki salmon is delicious and I love their veggie tempura! Their sushi is also really tasty and the rolls are pretty big! I've been going to Miso for about 10 years now and it has remained one of my favorite Japanese restaurants in Sac.
We ordered sashimi..lots of salmon and some of their specials and were blow away. The hamachi kama and sushi tacos were fantastic as well. The staff is super helpful and friendly too. Fully recommend.

Never been here before, but my daughter comes often, mainly for the veggie bento box. The tempura is very good. I had a bento box (to go) and it was just great. bonus bowl of miso soup, Chicken Teriyaki and Tempura. Perfect for lunch! Parking is not much of a problem - Tower parking lot is just over the road. Restaurant is clean and spacious, staff are perfect.
This is a nice quiet restaurant/ bar that serves all the traditional Japanese dishes and very good rolls. It's not a fancy flashy place but it delivers the goods. Prices are reasonable and worth trying once for yourself.
Delicious, fresh, Sashimi and Sushi. Beautifully prepared, presented. Best Miso soup I've enjoyed in years. Loved the seaweed salad too. We'd been salmon fishing, no bites so stopped for supper. My new favorite! Be patient, enjoy the outdoor dining. Wear mask to table.
Great service and staff, food took a little long to arrive despite there being only a few tables full, but otherwise great experience. Food cost is average and food is decent, not the best quality ever but amazing presentation of the food. 4/5
Great quiet restaurant. Good food. Good happy hour rolls for 50% off. My daughters fave place for spicy edamame and miso soup. Clean chic restaurant with friendly waiters. Hidden little gem!
9/7/22~6pm: Decent food and service. It was 113F outside and felt like 85F degree inside the restaurant. We weren't able to enjoy the food much as it felt quite suffocated. May try again when the weather is cooler. The parking is limited, only in the alley along side of the restaurant. It would be challenging during busy time.
Food was ok. It took them awhile to take our order. Staff very friendly. 25 minutes after taking our order our sushi rolls arrived. 10 minute after that they brought out our friends dish. 10 minutes after that they brought out our other friends dish and then 15 minutes after that they brought out our last order which was a bento box. I ordered the chicken katsu with the bento box and they gave me pork katsu instead. Maybe they thought I really wanted the pork instead of the chicken. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time of our order. At least the food was good. I have never understood the concept of preparing one item at a time and serving one item at a time. Probably won't go back. Wasn't my idea to go there in the first place. Only wanted to give two stars, but the food was pretty good.

Went for Dads birthday. Food was overall pretty good. I had ramen which was excellent. There was a homeless woman outside the front door peeing and screaming at us as we entered. I went inside and mentioned it to the staff and they seemed indifferent which was disappointing. Environment as a whole is lacking inside and just needs more intention put behind it. There were many people in there and service was slow as well. It has been each time I’ve been in.

Food was great. Staff was very friendly. Thought they said happy hour prices (half off rolls)... I was still charged full price... On my return visit for my birthday, I was very dissatisfied with our service. Order took over 45 mins. Waitress was very unattentive. Sadly I will no longer be returning to this restaurant.
Came in for dinner for my self and kids, got waiting about 40-50 minutes for our food even though it wasn’t busy, probably not coming again due to the wait time.
Avoid the ramen at all costs. Had a piece of plastic in my ramen too! Pros: Service was good, servers were nice and pleasant. Restaurant had a really nice interior, great design. Music was upbeat and hip it was a nice vibe. Unagi Don was solid, although they couldn’t put the sauce on the side for some reason and just served it to us straight up without even asking us if that would be okay. Not sure why because it looked drizzled on the top, but at least it was easily scraped off. Neutral: Breaded Japanese chicken curry was very mediocre. Not the worst, not the best just in the middle Bad: The “Tonkatsu Ramen” definitely tasted like a roast chicken Ramen packet with extra toppings in it. I’m almost positive it was in some regard. When restaurants don’t advertise that the ramen is cooked in pork bones for xx hours, you know it’s probably a bad sign. What’s worse is when I bit into my meat halfway through, a piece of plastic somehow was in the meat. I thought it was a shrimp shell but I didn’t order shrimp and it was unmistakably a piece of plastic. Not sure what piece of cooking would require a packet of plastic… but it was definitely there. To their credit they took off the ramen off the bill so they were nice about it. But even the taste just wasn’t right. Tip: they do have parking on the side of the building

Disgusting. Rotten vegetables. Overcooked rice. Items that do not match menu descriptions. Missing soy wrap on vegetarian roll. Just absolutely gross and overpriced. No remorse—couldn’t help us. “So sorry, better luck next time.” Never again. Beware.
