I AM DISGUSTED with my visit an absolutely annoyed. I waited 10 minutes to take my order then 5 more trying to get my order out while constantly being asked if I have a coupon for each item I ordered. Finally get my food home the guacamole is Brown my food itself look like someone spit in it I spent $32 for 2 people to eat and it was absolute garbage.

Sorry! I usually enjoy El Pollo Loco. Last night I had a terrible experience there. I ordered the half chicken breast dinner at 6:15pm. When I arrived to pick it up at 6:45, thet were out of chicken breasts , could not add more legs because they were running out if them. Could only provide wings, which I don't eat. The churlish were stale, They forgot to include any tortillas. Not a happy NYE! I may never return here.

Horrible food I have been eating pollo loco for 20 years this was the worst one I have ever been to . Nachos I ordered were $10 and had 1 small scoop of chicken couldn't even make 1 taco out of it if I wanted to. Took it back and got a 2 piece drum was dry and had very little meat . Avoid this place

This particular location is not without its issues. The few times I've gone in person the store seems unorganized and orders take a while. I understand that there are staffing problems all over but there should be a better delegation of duties. I've also ordered food for delivery and the last 2 times the orders were incomplete and the last time there was hardly any chicken and no dressing. I usually don't leave reviews but this location really needs to improve their service.

Absolute terrible service. Will not accommodate guests and is rude about it. Been about a year that they haven’t added a side of gravy to their online ordering menu. I asked to even order and pay for a side of gravy in person and was refused? Will be leaving another terrible review If i come back next time and it’s the same thing because this isn’t the first time. Male worker at the front on feb 17 2026 4:02pm, terrible customer service.

Terrible chicken and coleslaw, chicken was greasy, dry. Hard overcooked. Slaw was blan no dressing, cabbage clumped together. I will never go back.

I waited at the drive through for mins and mins and the workers were all in front doing nothing while I waited. So I decided to just leave

Cardboard Food I'd been told that the food at Pollo Loco, and especially at Cathedral City, was cardboard-like. But when I went and bought a donkey, I didn't know it was a bunk when I ate it. Cardboard came out on the donkey. Okay, what a way to chase off customers. I'm not going back! You know if you want cardboard among your ingredients.

Worst staff ever seen in fast food. Came into an empty store(1 other person inside) to literally stand at the counter waiting to order watching 3 employees make eye contact then turn and not take our order. Stood there for 5-8 minutes while 3 employees worked on filling one order for the only other person in the store. It takes all 3 of you? Pathetic

Whatever happened to good customer service in America? I wanted an actual human to take my order. When I walked in and stood in front of the register, I waited for about 3 and 1/2 minutes before a human acknowledged me. The human then said whenever you're ready please use the machine to order. I asked, are you not able to help me? The associate begrudgingly sighed and had the look of angst on her face and said, fine I can help you over here. It appears as though I severely disrupted The work that she was doing filling up cups of guacamole salsa. Chicken was dry and restaurant had dirty tables and floors.

This location sucks … they are rude and when you call them out on it they literally get mad at their own mistakes. Manager Andrew/anthony one or the other is a joke because he gets aggressive when you are letting him know anything. Never will I ever come here and you shouldn’t either. They don’t double check orders at all. They get attitudes because you want salsa after paying for a family meal.

Sadly there restrooms are very neglected and dirty years of build up of grime on the floors and toilets and sinks not serviced regularly or properly. I suggest they hire a professional cleaner to give a deep clean. But nothing worse than walking into a restaurants bathroom and seeing the bathroom extremely dirty gives you a bad vibe about the food being served. Owner or manager please look into getting the tile professionally cleaned and the bathrooms cleaned by a professional cleaner.

Every order was messed up! I ordered reg chips and guacamole got small. Ordered 10 tortillas and paid for all. But the chicken was raw. Told the manager and he just looked at me. Last time I’ll ever go here!
