Best BBQ ! Was looking for dinner and decided to try this place. The food was absolutely delicious! Meat was fresh and juicy! Brisket is 10 out of 10! Sausage was great as well! Nice and big store. Clean restroom. People are nice and friendly.

Can’t believe this is a gas station! I’m honestly blown away—this place has completely changed the way I see burgers. Their Wagyu Burger? Next-level. I don’t think I’ll ever look at a regular burger the same again. And the desserts… oh man, don’t even get me started. Just trust me, you need to try them. If you're anywhere nearby, do yourself a favor and stop in. Also—Woodys please, please move to Wisconsin! I need my Wagyu Burger!

Found, Woody's by accident.I was surprised that I have never heard of this gem. This has to be the best smokehouse,restaurant and gas station on I45. Expansive and well planned deco.I was excited to see a huge variety of sauces,preserves and a huge variety of jelly variations. I did not try the Quail but it looked delicious .I also saw a gentleman with a half chicken that looked tasty and juicy I just got This place is worth the drive and not just to visit when on the road.This is a foodie's haven where you can explore this uniquely designed smokehouse. Very friendly helpful staff and it's oh so clean. This is now my official stopover when going to and from Houston.Forget Bucees as there are more value for money ears and service here .

This is one of my favorite stops between Houston and Dallas. Being right around the half way point makes it a great stop for gas and a restroom. I enjoy the wide selection of canned goods, smoked meats and sweet treats available. The fuel center is easy to use with clearly original parts. You can be confident there is not a skimmer attached and the restroom is always clean in the ten years I have visited. Make this a stop on your drive!

Got here pretty late. Place closes at 9pm and we got there at 8pm. So I can’t really criticize the food that much. We tried the chopped brisket sandwich, jalapenos & shrimp popper, mac & cheese, ribs and beans. Chopped brisket sandwich was on point, very good! The other items didn’t fare too well but it was close to closing. The ribs were pretty dry. I will have to go back at a better time to try them out again and will update this review. The place is really nice. Lots of shopping and the place was really clean especially the restrooms.

We’re usually Shell or Exxon folks so when we stopped in Centerville and stumbled upon something special — Woody’s Smokehouse. What a find! We grabbed a quick brisket sandwich, browsed through their unique merchandise, and admired the rows of sausages and smoked meats. The jerky? Hands down some of the best I’ve had. The smoker out back sets the perfect atmosphere — that smell alone is worth the stop. Plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and a welcoming, small-town rustic vibe. Everyone we met was friendly, and it’s clear they take pride in what they do. We didn’t have much time but we’ll definitely be making Woody’s a regular stop on future trips to Houston. See y’all next time!

The vibe here is great! Everyone is welcoming and helpful. The bbq food was okay. Brisket had too much fat on it. Potato Salad was good. The ribs were great! The price is expensive though. Their pickled carrot’s are delicious. Peach salsa is very sweet.

This place is awesome they really have everything you need for the rd! The Bacon wrap Quail are delicious the best thing on the menu! The Beans are fresh and actually good, the jalapeño sausage are delicious , you can really taste the flavors and is spicy enough to enjoy it! The pork Ribs and BBQ sauce are pretty average nothing special about it! They else have lots of options for dessert, I choose the homemade fudge, the root beer fudge was too sweet for my taste, but the Bayou Goo is a delicacy! Totally recommend this place very clean and the staff are very friendly, right off the freeway ! Ohh plenty of parking for 18 wheelers

I can't help but compare it to Buc-ee's or Two brothers BBQ sadly I'd say theirs is better then Woody's Smokehouse. Buc-ee 's is a lil cheaper also their like $8 verses Woody's at $10. The bun crumbled which made the sandwich harder to eat. Me and my grandson got the brisket sandwichs while my hubby got just the brisket. Husband didn't wanna finish his because of the taste and it was hard for me to finish the sandwich but grandson being a bottomless pit lol he ate them. He likes the food mind y'all he's 15. His like Mikey from BK in the day on commercials, he'll eat anything haha. But I did like the bbq sauce. They have omgosh so many sweets and jerky's but sadly I don't buy any. But they did look yummy. Maybe next time. It was like ordering. It was kinda confusing what was free or come with meal and what was not. Oh their Mac and cheese was ok but I've tasted better.

Very Clean restrooms, easy on and off the highway...... but don't eat the pulled pork. I have never had bad pulled pork before but it is not fun. They did however give us our money back so that is good. So, i highly recommend you stop and get gas, use the restrooms, shop but pick something else if you want to eat there. Also, if you are diabetic or sugar free they have a very slim pick of zero sugar drinks.

I usually dont leave reviews but i had to share my experience today. I was really disappointed in the quality of the food. The past few years has gotten worse. We always stop here on our way to dallas. And it has been getting harder and harder to choose to stop here. I dont know if the changed cooks or what but the food isn't good like it use to be. Ribs were dry. Didn't have the flavor like it use to. Paid for alot of the end parts that are dry. Just very disappointing when you are craving something good.

Customer service is poor. Those sales guys at the brisket section and check out stand, have Stone faces. They jst stare at you with no expression whatsoever. I will leave it at that. Rest room is nice though. Buc-ee’s brisket is 10x better with great customer service.

My wife and I stopped by to try it out, we won't be back, at least not for the BBQ. 43 bucks for half a chicken, half pound of ribs, and 2 pieces of brisket. With a small tub of potatoe salad, coleslaw, and Mac and cheese. Honestly the sides were better than the BBQ. The chicken was pretty good, however, the brisket and ribs was the worst I've eaten. Full of fat and lacking of flavor. Definitely not worth the money.

Not only was it flavorless, lacking a smoke ring, cooked on high heat and fast….. IT WAS LITERALLY INEDIBLE as in unsafe to eat! Brisket is not supposed to be cold, crumbly and hard like a cracker with a yellowish tint. Now I sit hours later having to pay for what I thought might be good BBQ. As a native Texan and BBQ enthusiast please save your stomach and taste buds as this visually appealing place is all bark and no bite or should I say NO BARK AND NO BITE. If you’re looking for the real deal that’s the same concept as this try Praseks in El Campo. I feel burdened writing a review such as this but I think y’all can do better and it’s more of my aching stomach doing the talking.
