Discovered this place literally 30 minutes before it closed and decided to see if they would let us in. I was expecting to be greeted by apprehensive looks, but on the contrary, we received a warm welcome. Joe was very kind and friendly as he walked us through the menu. We ordered three platters: - Chicken tawook w/ tabouleh, hummus - Chicken shawarma w/ tabouleh, baba Ghanoush - Lamb platter with moudjddarah and tabouleh We also got Arayess which was quickly devoured. The chicken tawook and lamb were our favorites. Great flavor without too much salt. The tabouleh was fresh, and the baba ghanoush and hummus were delicious too. Pita is probably the best I’ve had so far. I drizzled some of their red spicy sauce all over my shawarma chicken to give it a little kick. Decent sized portions and great meal overall! Very glad we found this place!

DASHER REVIEW: This is a nice little stop-n-go spot for a meal. I love to see cultured restaurants such as this one owned and operated by folks of the culture. It's adds to the authenticity of it all (to those whom that matters to). I came around 1130a so there was no crowd. The meal I picked took around 5 to 10 mins to prepare. So not much longer of a wait. The place was clean and well kept so that's always a plus for some place you get your food. Their food items are fairly priced with a decent selection of items for your taste buds. They have things from kabobs ... Obviously with a name like kebabs-2-go lol... Falafel, kebeh, what's a variety of foods like shrimp, beef, and chicken. (Menu in photos) All in all, This is a place that I would recommend you visit. It is a place that I will be visiting myself very soon Hope this review helps 😀

Was craving some Mediterranean for lunch today and found this place online. I went during lunch, and it was not as busy as I thought it would be. I placed my order and was told there was a 25-minute wait, which no biggie. I ordered the Lamb Gyro with fries and an order of Falafel. The Falafel was amazing!!!!!!! Had just enough crisp to it and was very, very tasteful. The lamb gyro was not bad. The lamb was very flavorful. Now the gyro was more of like a wrap, and the wrap, unfortunately, was a bit too hard for me. It was hard for me to bite down and chew. I'm not sure what happened there, but I just wish it was a bit warmer and softer for me to chew. Either way, it was delicious, and I will be coming back to try other things on their menu. They are in a shopping center so there are plenty of parking spots to choose from.

First time coming here with my husband and it was great! Asked for recommendations from the cashier and we got the chicken shawarma and the kafta platters. Clean inside, friendly and fast service, the salads were deliciously zesty, loved the grape leaves, and portions were very generous!

Hummus was one of the best in Charlotte. The shawarma looked legit but having grown up in Lebanon I have a higher standard and they need to work on the spice mix they use for the meat and chicken shawarma, they got the right fixings in the sandwich but something is missing with the spices, the fries need more work they weren't crispy enough. The kibbeh was good the pomegranate sauce dip complemented it well. The garlic sauce (toum) was so pungent and strong, it would be a good idea to remove the middle section of the garlic clove before grinding and work on the recipe to make it less potent since I suffered all day afterwards.

I have reached a top status as a contributor for my Google reviews. I am honest. We have been looking for a great Arabic type of food place ever since moving to Charlotte from the Metro Detroit area where you can find these types of places everywhere. We were headed to South Park Mall so my husband who has been reading the reviews said we have to go try this. I met Yaser the cook. Friendly guy. Another man took our order. Their service is good. The people do aim to please! I decided on a chicken Shawarma sandwich and my husband did the beef shawarma. Yaser did a nice job making the sandwiches. They were good. But we don’t know why the two Fattoush salads had zero dressing on them. No flavor! Lebanese Fattoush is known for having a zesty Sumac Mediterranean dressing. I have never, ever seen such a thing. It was such a waste. We couldn’t eat the salads. They need to improve & also the pickled turnips we requested did not have flavor. I was about to speak up, but my husband said let it go. If a manager is reading this, please go to the Halal International Market in Charlotte and pick up a jar of pickled turnips and taste them. That is what they should taste like.

Their menu online is different than in-store. The kid's meal online says it comes with plum sauce, and carrots. It's literally just 2 chicken strips with fries. No sauce, or other items. Something that would normally be no more than a few dollars, anywhere else. I wanted a falafel pita sandwich- not the wrap. I saw 2 different kinds, online, and they insisted the pita was what I was getting. After waiting over 20mins for our food, the food was disappointing, and definitely not worth what we paid.

For a long time I wanted to visit this establishment and now I found time for lunch. The food was not bad, classic kebab with potatoes and garlic sauce. The shawarma itself was a bit dry, but it was not critical. Service was disappointing, the wait for the order was over 30 minutes and we were brought the wrong order. We were allowed to pick up the wrong order for free, but that didn't smooth out the first impression. Most likely, they simply do not have enough staff, and this is a big disadvantage. While one woman was trying to serve all the customers, the male employees of the place were just watching TV. It looked weird.

Food was fresh but it lacks flavor. I have ordered chicken kabab plate which was mediocre; chicken was little hard, garlic sauce was bitter, rice was dry and veggies were quite boring. Kunafa tasted like solid fermented yoghurt cheesecake which is no where near to the original kunafa.

I was really looking forward to eating here and outside of the cauliflower and tahini, we did not enjoy anything else. The 2 pita dishes were actually quite bad, the meat was somehow decent but the vegetables in there were too cold and made everything cold and soggy. We also had to wait 20-30min and did not have access to a restroom to wash our hands. I did like the Lebanese music that was playing form YouTube all this time.

The lamb kabab sandwich is legitimately straight off the children’s menu. I have never seen so little protein included in a $15 item. Do you see any lamb in this photo? lol. If you are reading this, do your self a favor, walk one block down, go into Mocco Bistro, and order a Lamb Gyro. You will easily get 6x as much meat. Disappointed and still hungry.

When I went in to order there were no one availabile. Someone was in the back and would not come to the front when I was saying hello. Finally a guy came. I ordered chicken shawrma. It was so think it barely had any meat on it for $10. It also had fries in the sandwich. There was no fries in the description of the sandwich. The meat was very dry and did not taste good. Will not return

I ordered the tabbouleh and paid extra for shrimp. The meal was inedible because the shrimp was raw. Unfortunately, I only found out after taking a large bite of the shrimp. It was cooked just enough to turn pink and the inside was grey and raw. It took me just a few seconds to inspect all the shrimp and see 3 of the 5 undeniably still needed cooking. Unacceptable. I only got a partial refund from my works delivery service.
