Who doesn’t like pizza!? These are specialty pizzas, not your typical “supreme pizza”. The “weekender” pizza is a must try, however it is only on the weekends and a very specific time frame. You must try the appetizer of piquillo peppers with goat cheese
The pizza was like no pizza that I’ve ever eaten or tasted before out of this world and the way they do. Everything is amazing. Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The staff. Here is amazing. Also, would recommend us to anybody hands.
Just had lunch here for the first time. My husband and I split a half sausage and half pepperoni pizza. It was delicious. We will definitely be back for more. The size was perfect for lunch.
We drove from Houston to an Airbnb (Rockin H Lavender farm) and our host recommended this place. It was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time and that a bold statement considering how many pizzas spots we have in Houston. Give them about 25 minutes if you call ahead because they delicately craft their pizzas to perfection. I went there the first night we were there and returned to following night . The staff was very friendly and greated me the moment I came through the door. Do your self a favor and grab a pie from this place
I love pizza. I have loved pizza since I was a teenager. I worked at an Italian restaurant to have access to unlimited pizza. I have traveled to Italy and enjoyed their delicious plethora of creative pizzas. However, I have never had a better pizza than Rancho Pizza in the little town of Coleman, Tx. Yes, that is crazy! My wife and I had the Fungi and the Carne pizza. Those two could not be more different in their taste, but both were perfect. The crust takes you to downtown Rome, and the flavors reduce your speech to monosyllabic communication, such as: "mmm" and "wow." Both pizzas are strong, intense, crunchy, and tasty. I would highly recommend this place. The music is at the right volume and well-chosen. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is irresistible. We tried one of Rancho's Salads, and it was awful. But who cares? The restaurant's name is Rancho Pizza and not Rancho Salad, right?
Such a surprise!! Several locals recommended this eatery during our brief stay in town. We had some delicious, crispy, exotic pizzas our first night and went back the next night to enjoy another Peach Bellini and some vanilla ice cream. Great ambiance and service. I wish they had a location in Dallas!
Simple and classy - great little stop in vintage Coleman after antique shopping. Smaller but open space with clean lines and modern style, kind of Austin-ee. All part of the Rancho Loma brand the way I understand it, that's helping put Coleman back on the map. Features owner's photography, wine from across the street, and brick oven pizzas. Highly recommend the spinach salad and any appetizer that comes with the pita bread. The rojo sweet red wine was also a fav, better than the drier corso. Could be seen as a bit pricey to the country residents, but nothing new for the city dwellers. Also recommend stopping by the Library's street art and Bonneville, right down the street.
Driving through town and this location came highly recommended. While I had already shared a meal earlier, the foodie had to stop in. I was greeted and served by Chaney at the bar. She was amazing, informative and very friendly. Started with the meatballs. Order came with 4 medium sized meatballs, 4 slices of toasted (perfectly) bread. Texture on meatballs was fantastic. Italian seasoning was a bit heavier than I would have liked however the sauce gave this balance. There was a significant amount of melted cheese I prefer a little less so the meatballs are the star! It was topped right before serving with fresh sliced Italian cheese. This was a great addition. Pizza - I'll start by saying this establishment has a wood-fire pizza oven. All pizzas here are 12". Decided I would try the carne. The pizza came out amazing. There was a perfect amount of fresh toppings and the crust was perfect. I say this as I only had a couple bites so I could review while fresh and took away. Leftover reheated and crust remained crispy. A small amount of fresh parsley at the end would have pushed the flavor to the next level! The atmosphere here is so quaint and comfortable with unique decor. Being able to sit at the bar and watch the pizza being made adds to the experience. It's very evident the owners ensure they are hiring individuals who want to be there and have a level of passion for it. It's displayed on their interactions and the quality and flavor of the food. VERY highly recommend!
Restaurant wasn’t particularly busy (well past lunch hour and well before dinner rush) on a Saturday around 3 pm. Exceptionally long wait for the food (over 45 minutes). I am a huge fan of wood-fired pizza and know that a certain amount of char is normal, however this pizza had so much burned black portions on the top and way too many burned spots underneath. It affected the flavor and texture significantly. Crusty edge was super hard like crouton, when it should have been crispy/chewy. Definitely a bummer.
Pizza was delicious but the size of the pizza was deceptive. Menu says 12 inches. When I picked up the pizza it was so light. Got home and it measured 9 inches. Was just a snack for what we thought would be a meal.
My how this place has fallen. Used to be very good several years ago. The wine selection is gone to cheap and sweet things, no more interesting local wines. Pizza is no longer special, isn't any better than Brick Oven in Abilene. Y'all forgot how to make a good lettuce wedge too. Staff was to interested in congregating at the bar for loud conversation. Disappointed to say the least.
Waited over an hour and was told that there was a mistake with the WiFi which apparently caused our order not to be input. We were on a time crunch and needed to leave so they boxed the pizzas up as we headed out the door. No breakdown was given, so no telling if we were charged the correct amount. Food was not worth the wait. Especially at those prices. I won’t be going back.
