Champion Pizza

My husband and I are visiting from California and I found Champion Pizza through Yelp. Based on the reviews, we decided to give it a shot, and it took only one bite for us to agree it was the best pizza we had ever had. My husband won't stop talking about how good it was! We both got pepperoni slices (a great size for the price); the crust had a perfectly crispy base with a thick, fluffy crust. On top of that, the owners are so genuine and friendly. 1000% recommend stopping by and treating yourself to a slice!

A small pizza shop where you can grab a slice and be out in a few minutes. I love the ability to choose individual slices to try, and I have to say the margherita pizza was superb. If you need a quick bite to eat, look no further. Definitely some of the better pizza in BCS.

Best New York-style pizza in College Station, hands down! The thin, crispy crust and quality ingredients, especially the fresh mozzarella on the Margherita, are fantastic. It genuinely tastes like a slice of NYC. Huge, reasonably priced slices and super friendly service too. A must-try!

If I had the money I would come here every day. The pizza is really good! They serve Brooklyn style pizzas which are a little different from anywhere else around here like Dominos. The crust is thin and tasty. The pizzas themselves are offered in a huge variety of options which you can peruse near the checkout desk. The slices are $5 and quite large. I would say 2 slices is plenty for an adult, and 1 slice per child. The guys running the place were very friendly. I'm sure we will be back -- just waiting on that paycheck, fellas!

No BS this is the most legit NY pizza I've ever had and I've had several over the years up in NYC. Crispy bottom, light and airy like elven bread. Generous size NY slices with the perfect amount of bite. The Margherita Classic and Truffle Mushroom were my favorites out of the 3 that I sampled. Looking forward to trying all that they offer.

Atmosphere: Upon entering the establishment, towards the right side you will see a plethora of photos of the owner with various of famous celebrities in their New York locations. This gave it a very New York vibe since quite of bit of pizza restaurants do the same thing.Towards the center you can see all the types of pizza that you can choose from. On the left side you can see the restaurants illuminated logo. It's located within a strip center and the amount of space is fairly small but decent amount of seating (5 tables with a bar table towards the entrance). Note: they only serve bottled water/bottled soft drinks/canned drinks. Service: We arrived slightly after 5 and surprised to see that we were the only ones there. While we were there, the employee answered all of our questions as well as told us the popular recommendations. Upon ordering our pizza and paying, it took very little time to have our pizza ready. Quality: Where do I begin, but this pizza is highly reminiscent of New York style pizza and glad to have this type of pizza in the area. I had ordered the lasagna and classic pepperoni, in which even though the lasagna pizza was full in flavor and an experience in of itself. The pepperoni pizza definitely took me back when I visited NYC and had various amounts of pizza. Although it was a basic topping, its definitely the epitome of NYC pizza. This will not be the last time I visit this location and can't wait to try their other pizza flavors. I highly recommend just getting the pepperoni pizza just to have a sense of NYC pizza and have to say it's one of my favorite pizza places in the BCS area. Hands down the best pizza by the slice pizza!!

Easily top 3 pizza restaurants in college station. I was recommended to eat here by word of mouth from a close friend and it didn't disappoint. The food was great and the service was fast and friendly. We ordered the margarita, pepperoni, meat lovers, Hawaii and the garlic knots, everything we had was amazing and would definitely go back again!!

By far, the best pizza I've ever had in Texas! Friendly owners and staff! Great ambience. Amazing pizza 🍕 pie, and calzones! I would have given them all 5-stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ if they put more marinara (pizza sauce) on their pizza and calzones. So, if you like pizza sauce... I would suggest you order items with extra or additional sauce.

As an Italian in the US, it has been always difficult to find a pizza that I could consider very close to the one back home. But this pizza is exactly what I was looking for. The thin and not oily crust, the good tomato sauce, the fresh basil, and the cheese at the base gave the pizza the taste I was looking for. Highly recommended!!

The best New York-style pizza in College Station. I love this place! They have so many great options different pizza flavors, pizza rolls, pastas, and more. It’s perfect for a quick grab and go, but you can sit and eat, too. Their pepperoni is my go-to, and the pepperoni jalapeño sausage combo is amazing. The margarita pizza and the pizza rolls are also incredible. Highly recommend!

We ordered a full pizza with half and half toppings but they have pizza by the slice too that looked delicious. Exceptionally friendly service from the staff and owner that was on site. Will definitely go back!

Not only was the pizza amazing but the customer service was just so friendly. Cashier helped me with my son’s drink that he grabbed after we payed lol and Saul brought us slices to try. Amazing food and amazing people

I had a minor issue once and they more than took care of it. The only thing I would advise is that you ask them to cook the pizza a little longer. Just my personal preference, but I think it comes closer to the classic New York style with a little more char on it.

We tasted Champion Pizza at the Festival I. Downtown Bryan and it was so good!! My daughter and I got a slice of cheese pizza! It was warm, cheesy, and full of flavor! Definitely will be stopping by their permanent location soon!!

Love love love this place! The food is fantastic. Pizza by the slice is hard to beat. I could eat the tomato sauce by the bowl. The garlic knots will give you garlic breath in the very best and tastiest way. The staff is always friends and helpful. Food is fast. A whole pie is pricey, but so so yummy and fresh. My very slight qualm is that there is not a lot of places to eat in. But it’s still so good.

The sausage is the typical, frozen balls, the red sauce they serve it with was bad, I didn’t even finish it all, normally, I use all the sauce and ask for more. The cheese was great, a kiss of garlic was nice, but they need to add some veggies & seasoning as it’s underwhelming in its current build.
