Mr. Jim's Pizza

I have been eating Mr Jims(Duncanville) location for yearsss. They never disappoint with the pizza and wings. Food is always nice and hot. A little pricey, but I don't mind getting exactly what I pay for and being satisfied with it. The individuals who work at the front are always nice, pleasant and professional. The drivers, also!! Go Mr Jims. My go to pizza place!!! 😀

Always on point! Pizza is always delivered hot and fresh. Their food is always fresh. They never disappoint. They have the most friendly staff from the order takers to the delivery drivers. My experience has always been great!

Love that I have a good pizza place close to home. The pizza is delicious with it's own unique flavor will definitely come here when I am craving pizza and don't wanna go far from home!

Clean atmosphere and great customer service no matter what time you go. Our pizza is borderline burnt this time but still edible Food hot, fresh and delicious 😋. Maybe turn the oven down a little bit to avoid burning.

This was the first Mr. Jim's I ever ate at when it opened in 1985, and it's still the best one! Before this place opened, we had no idea what Hawaiian Pizza was! You can't go wrong; best Pizza in Duncanville; hands down, for 37+ years!

I love this location! They're amazing. That pizza was good to my soul the other day. The pizza and the service are great if I deliver it or pick up my order. I appreciate the great customer service from all of the staff. Especially because I don't like to order pizza online, lol. Thank you for your great service.

Very good experience at checkout. Very creepy out of the way location near warehouses. Order was completed before 15 minute timeframe. Pizza is super greasy and by the time I return home the bottom of box had grease absorption. What the unhealthy can do for a pizza makes a tasty meal. I would order again should I feel the need to lubricate my belly again.

Today was my first time having Mr. Jim’s pizza. My family and I really enjoyed the pizzas we ordered. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Only reason for a 4 vs 5 is because of sauce…. Next time I’ll ask for “light” sauce. Overall good customer service, fresh ingredients and yummy pizza. Nice break from big chains!

Looking at the menu there is no taco pizza option, except fajita chicken. When you say my pizza is going to be at my house in 45 minutes, it should be there! NOT after 1-1/2+ hours and a phone call asking where is it (called after an hour and ten minutes). This is why I don't go to another pizza place in Duncanville...same promise of 45 minutes, got at 1-1/2 hours. Mr Jim's will have ONE more opportunity at another time. If it's late again, then I'll be done with you!

We have ordered from these guys for a years now but their delivery times have increases. They are not what's advertised. We order online but wait over 1 hour to get our 3 pizzas. I called customer service but all they said was "sorry, our times are only estimated" and to call the store instead of ordering online. No offer to improve the customer experience either. Then what's the point of a website? This has happened 2x already.

Pizza is good but delivery is terrible they are 15 to 30 minutes late every time. I call after 1 hour they say he's on his way. Probably need to look at ordering some where else. A 40 to 45 minute delivery turns into one and a half hours. Ok updates a few weeks ago I ordered 2 large stuffed pizzas and when I received them they weren't stuffed crust. When I called the young lady said they would come get them and remake them remind you it already took 50 minutes to get these I said no thanks just know we didn't receive what I ordered. We'll today I ordered again 1 large stuffed crust and 1 extra LG pizzas well again no stuffed crust all they want to do about it come pick the pizza up and make a new one and you wait another 45 + minutes I called to talk to a manager and the young lady said why I told her I would talk to manager about why she said she had to have a reason me it my pizza she said well see if that's good enough reason. We'll bottom line we will have to look somewhere else to get our pizza. Good buy Mr. Jim's you got my last $44.00.

Mr. Jim’s pizza is usually delicious and has always been perfect in the past. However, the last two orders we have placed have been unsatisfactory to say the least. The first time was a few weeks ago. We get the order home and my garden salad is lettuce. Only lettuce. So I said okay maybe someone forgot to add the the veggies. Then I realized they didn’t give me the ranch to go on my lettuce. So at this point I’m getting a little frustrated but agin, Mr. Jim’s is usually on point so I thought ok, they are having an off day at Mr. Jim’s. Then we get to the pizza and the pizza is burned. The crust didn’t have the garlic Parmesan crust like we ordered. It was plain. We agreed that this day was just a fluke. We ate it and moved on. Today we order Mr. Jim’s again and granted they said I could still place an order at 8:50, they close at 9pm. So I was really happy. As we were driving home I realized they didn’t give me a item from my order. At this time they are closed so I can’t call or go back to get it so I just go home disappointed because I’m now remembering last order. Sure enough we get home and the pizza is burned again (photo added). I am really disappointed in Mr. Jim’s. I don’t know what is going on but y’all need to get it together. I’m sure I am not the only customer this is happening too. My family is worried we will not order from Mr. Jim’s again. I’m sure we will but I will be sure to check the order for all my items and check the quality of the food before I leave the store moving forward.

This restaurant used to be so great. The staff were polite as well as courteous to the customer. For some reason though I have been met with ultimate disappointment in the satisfactory of the food and the customer service. I am truly disappointed in this world we live in when a personal can’t call in and have a regular conversation to execute a food order from a loyal customer. This place has truly changed

I ordered online and waited for 40 minutes just to get 3 large D'lish pizzas at the Duncanville location. I seen multiple come and go before my pizzas were ready. This is unacceptable. Even though i really like Mr Jim's pizza i will stick to Pizza Hut or Dominos because they are alot better with their wait times

I visit here yesterday night and as soon I walked in my welcomed I felt the gentleman up front was irritated for some reason and was dry and didn’t really wanna say hello food was good but I didn’t appreciated for spending my money at this location

I received a pizza on Sunday that was burned beyond recognition and when I expressed my grievances with an individual by the name of Cat, I was met with hostility and great disrespect. She first asked me to text a picture of the food which I agreed, she then recanted and asked me to email which I objected bc it was an inconvenience to me. I ended up in a shouting match and was told I just wanted a free pizza. She told me to drive back and she would make another one, the task was impossible bc I was in the process of moving AND furthermore which her lack of professionalism and aggression I did not trust HER to remake the pizza. I then asked for me the email to send as she originally requested which she refused to provide and instead wanted to argue with me how difficult this I made this and I was SCAMMING for a $8 pizza. Please note I purchased other items which were to my liking but was told I could return those as well. I was also told if I escalated to corporate it would be ineffective as she is the owner. I am so displeased with the service and offended I with the way I was treated. The service was trash and has left a bad taste in my mouth with this establishment.

Update: I really want to like this place. I like to toasted subs and pizza. I buy there multiple times per month. But have a serious problem getting the order right amd cooked properly. I just picked up a sub. Picture attached. Turkey is no where on my order. It should be canadian bacon. Really? The nacho Stix are borderline burnt but still passable. Not in the good or great category. Oh and they threw in onions and mayo which I did not order, did not want and do not like. Actually I am allergic to raw onions. They have to be cooked. So the sandwich is going in the trash. Did they even read the sandwich order or just throw together what they wanted. Update: I had a chat with the owner. Plus I placed another order. This one was much better and the owner took steps so hopefully this wont happen again. The chain has great food. This location is very unpredictable. It could be great or bad. It depends on who they have in the back on any given day. The previous order had to be remade. This last order was mixed. The pizza was great. The sandwich was poor. It was supposed to be 'toasty'. I have had their sandwiches before and they are usually what I order. This one was more like 'charcoaly' and burnt. They had to know it was burnt when they wrapped it up. But rather than remake it they decided it was OK to deliver.

Save yourself the frustration. I placed an order at 9:30 PM and paid for it only to receive a call at 9:33 after my card was charged stating that they have been closing early due to the night manager being sick so my order has to be cancelled. Mind you the website shows closing at 12AM. 😡

Kat has “0” customer service skills and is very rude. I cancelled my order and asked for my money back, which I was told was on me and that all her customers love her. Order from the Cedar Hill location where food is not only good but they are happy to have your business.

THIS AINT IT!! I’ve never had MrJims and now I see why!! I was suspicious about the smell in the car on my way home and when I bit into it I could taste that smell yukk!! The wings are horrible and skimpy and the pizza is thick and slimey. I am definitely requesting a refund tomorrow.

I've been here often but don't plan on returning for a long while. 9/9/21 Came back and they messed up another order. Asked for extra olives….received no olives. Ordered online and 20 minutes later got a call they were having oven issues and couldn't make the cinnastix so they could swap it for "brownie bites", so I reluctantly approved. Then by the time the pizza should have been arriving I get another call that due to oven issues they can't make the pizza I ordered but they can do things crust. I was going to cancel the order altogether but my husband said that it was fine. My problem with this was they went ahead and made the pizzas thin crust before we approved and the delivery was on it's way already. I know because they were knocking at the door a few minutes later. My next issue was the pizza was cooked uneven, over cooked in most areas to the point of dark brown/burned looking cheese, it was dry like no sauce was used and I couldn't tell the Sticky Fingers from the Better Cheddar Burger pizza. The so called brownie bites, which was actually one brownie that was about 3 x 3 in. were obviously frozen previously because they were extremely cold and you could tell they hadn't quite thawed completely. It was very shady to handle the situation like they did so not to risk me canceling the order. I could have made a better frozen pizza from the store!! I wish I had taken pictures to post with this review. Wait ya'll! They knew they screwed up because they come emailing me a coupon for cinnastix. But guaranteed I will never order from them again. PERIOD!

When I asked for extra sauce , the sause looks like it was slapped onto the top of the whole pizza like someone pissed another off or were having a bad day and took it out on my pizza, hope and pray I don't get food poisoning over this. It almost makes me feeling like the movie waiting, you should watch it
