WTF ISthis

Absolutely loved this pizza. It was baked perfectly. The style was unique and they have a variety of cool food to try. I got the bbq pizza and it did not disappoint. The bbq sauce was smokey hickory. The veggies and chicken all went well together. Can't say enough good things about this place i will be back for sure. Side note i was so hungry I didn't take a picture of the whole pie lol. It comes in 6-8 slices. These are the last survivors

Nice environment good service and bar tender at bar with long blondish hair was real helpful and food was on point.... And for the wait time we were seated fast only because we sat at bar there was a wait time tho but worth the wait I think

Food was awesome. Pizza is a solid thin crust. The meat ball sandwich was delicious. The bread it came on was soft in the middle and crunchy on the sides. We also ordered the Parm fries, and they were amazing. Nice and crispy with lots of flavor. Service was good and they didn’t leave you waiting for a long time. I did reserve a table before we left which was nice to sit right now when we got there.

Went for early light dinner at the bar at Annesso in Fresno. It was a good experience. Start with the Parm fries - dusted with delicious Parm.Their standout meatball appetizer, is rich and satisfying. The summer burrata with watermelon and tomato is an absolute triumph, offering a refreshing and innovative combination that's beautifully complemented by their perfect pizza dough bread. Paired with a chilled glass of Soave Classico, it's a truly outstanding culinary moment. Annesso is a must-visit for anyone seeking casual but excellent Italian fare in Fresno.

It was my first time visiting this venue and I was happy I did. The food was phenomenal. They had very delicious Cesar salad, fries and pizza! The vibe was trendy and the place was clean. I’d suggest getting a reservation if you’re trying to do a date night to dinner. Everything we ordered was on point. This place is top notch & quality. 👌

Annesso Pizzeria holds a special place in my heart as one of the best dining spots in Fresno. Since their soft opening a few years ago, I've been a regular, and I can confidently say that their food never disappoints. This time, we ordered the rigatoni in a spicy vodka sauce—rich, creamy, and just the right amount of heat. The Sungold tomato pizza, perfectly balanced with mozzarella, ricotta, and fresh basil, was another hit. The wedge salad with shrimp was a refreshing and flavorful complement. And the soft serve with chocolate sauce and salt? A perfect end to a perfect meal. The combination of flavors and textures at Annesso Pizzeria always makes for an unforgettable dining experience. I highly recommend it!

Wonderful spot, it’s a step up from the regular pizza joints. Speed of service is fast here despite it being pizza. The fries were truly one of a kind, the cheese is a great touch. Wings were okay. Pizza dough is nice and light, got good under carriage, it doesn’t flop. A bit too salty but that’s from the peps I’m sure. The crust bubbles are a bit burnt. Service was very good, polite and kind

I’d been wanting to see what the hype was about, and it definitely lived up to it! The price was great, the mafaldine was delicious, and the jalapeño pepperoni pizza was something new and surprisingly fresh for us. But what truly stood out was our server, Reese. He was phenomenal—kind, friendly, easy to talk to, and super helpful with the menu. His recommendations were spot-on. We’ll definitely be back!

Great place/atmosphere/ambiance, great cocktails. Recommended making reservations or plan to wait for quite some time. Getting a spot at the bar is also a good option but still quite a wait since it’s first come, first serve.

Very busy come early or call ahead! But, once you get done spending 10 minutes looking for parking and navigating through the massive lunch crowd. You will be rewarded with delicious for. Beware it's a lot of food. I recommend sharing a plate. Enjoy! P.s., great bar

(Fries are extremely good) now with that out of the way I need a disclaimer i will sound vastly negative but this food is good just hear me out. The line here is LONG there's a lot of people that like this place! To each their own but I simply feel like for the wait of this pizza and pasta it should be better and that is my hot take. It's still good! Maybe it's just me (seriously try the fries at least it is vastly different compared to other spots and extremely amazing)[if the fries in the picture looks small we simply ate too much before I remembered to take a photo]

Finally tried the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. It was good but what I really enjoyed was their parmessan fries. They have mastered those. They are seasoned with a little kick and the shredded parmessan is so soft and not parmessan(ee) that it kind of melts in your mouth. The chicken pesto is a good sandwich. They went well on the pesto. I think if the chicken was warm it would be out of this world but I'm sure they tried that and determined it's better cool with the cheese and sauce. The bread makes it a great sandwich. I would do the side salad with a vinaigrette over ranch next time ordering. My coworker had the Margherita pizza with cheese and fresh basil. It was okay. Eat it while it's warm. I'm a Mountain Mike's and Round Table girl so it was just okay to me but people rave about their pizza so had to try it. I would possibly try pasta next visit just to keep exploring the menu. Great atmosphere. They say busy so work to get in and out. They serve sparkling and still water and Coke products.

Online ordering takes an hour for a pizza that takes all of 5 minutes to make. Pizza is tasty when it’s not burnt. But that burger now that is a showstopper. 2nd best burger in all of Fresno. I’d buy the most expensive bottle of champagne for an evening after 4pm with one of those.

The food and atmosphere is great but the service doesn’t match. I went on Valentine’s Day and they said only the patio was available. I understood it was Valentine’s Day and probably busy. I asked if the bar was open and they said it’s first come first serve. So me and my gf had a seat at the bar. We were not greeted just served water and I had to ask if I could get an espresso martini… the girl that served the water just nodded her head yes. I just thought they were busy… So I’m waiting and another couple comes in… right next to us and they got the seats closest to the door. The bartender asked them but not us… if they wanted to move to a better seat… cause it was cold … but never offered us that. Then I looked over and they also had their drinks first. I asked another bartender “do you know when I will get my drink?” She said “what drink?” And I had to tell her again that I asked the girl. She then made it. More customers came in after and I noticed they were served water and drink promptly and asked what would they like? When we had to ask them for service. It was all just a really weird experience. I felt like they didn’t want to serve me and I wasn’t sure why? Why was I overlooked? Anyhow I hope it’s not anything bad like I said the food was great but the service put a sour taste in my mouth.

The pizza here is pretty good and the french fries are excellent, which is why I keep coming back. However, I consistently struggle with the salads. Two of the dressings in particular—the lemon vinaigrette and the oregano vinaigrette—are very bitter and really take away from the rest of the dish. In my opinion, making your own salad dressings is only a plus if they taste balanced; when they miss the mark, it can hurt the experience and, ultimately, your business. I’d love to see an improvement in the dressings, but for now I highly recommend sticking with the ranch if you order a salad.

My husband and I have been looking forward to this place because of the high reviews. We finally got a chance to eat here last night. It was a packed place. We waiting about 20 minutes to be seated, we thought ok, its a good sign," They are busy". We were seated near the bar and we were quickly served our water. The waiter left both the ice water and the seltzer water on our table. That was ok, except is no body talking about how small and flimsy the tables are? We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta and 2 sodas. First the Fettucine was amazing, however, both pizzas were ok, a little too salty. We were both unable to enjoy them and we are not picky people. To be honest, we were so terribly uncomfortable. I was afraid of dropping something because there was no room to move even though we were 2 feet away from anyone on each side. I was constantly rearranging things on the table just to eat, to move my drink, to pass the parmesan. Its a beautiful location, however, very noisy, overpriced for the quality of food, uncomfortable dining, and service walked passed us too many times. We don't drink, so everything else matters. Either way, we appreciate you guys.
