Fast service very yummy lamb gyro and fries with spices. Bathroom is clean.

Came up from Oakhurst to do some shopping, I was craving gyro and this place was better than I could have hoped. The beef and lamb gyro pita was absolutely to die for, I got the Greek fries on the side which were also a hit. I can’t spell it but I also got the Greek beignets and they were wonderful! Spoke with the owner briefly, he was very kind and made a point to speak with everybody dining in his establishment which I always appreciate when I see it. This is now my go to gyro spot.

Wife and I were visiting the area and stopped in yesterday to try the food. She said the staff was exceptionally friendly. The bowls we ordered were fantastic, fresh, and filling. We liked it so much we went back today on our way back home and got bowls, gyro, and the fries. Once again, the food and service were great. The portions are just right and the prices are competitive. Will definitely keep this store in mind on our next trip to Fresno. Try the dragonfruit tea.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Nick the Greek! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We especially loved the gyros! The restaurant was also clean and well-kept, making the entire dining experience even better. We’ll definitely be back, and we highly recommend Nick the Greek to anyone looking for great food and great service!

I feel like people are sleeping on this place, but my absolute new obsession lately is their frozen yogurt! OMG! So this is a tart froyo (like it tastes like actual yogurt), but with the baklava and honey it is *chef’s kiss* My other obsession is their hummus. Seriously good hummus! Now fit mains, I usually get the chicken gyro plate with rice, but tonight I finally tried the gyro wrap, which was amazing! If you live in the area and you want something a little different, DEFINITELY recommend this place!

Ordered thru DoorDash and I was not disappointed. The Gyros I ordered was lamb and beef (I believe). Very delicious, full of meat and vegetables! The sauce they used was on point. The side of rice was good as well, and the pita bread with hummus was great! Highly recommend it!!!

My sons and I love this place! The chicken gyro is absolutely delicious and tastes very similar to the gyro we ate in Greece. We drive about 30 minutes to eat here and it’s definitely worth it. The restaurant is always very clean. The employees are wonderful as well and remember us each time we visit. I asked the owner to bring Nick the Greek to Clovis - I hope he does! Until then, we will continue to drive across town for our regular gyro fix!

Best Greek Food you can find in Fresno. The quality is superb and they definitely give generous portions. Always keep coming back. Their Gyro meat is my all time favorite. Give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

I am an admitted Mediterranean foodie, so this place caught my eye. Happened to be in the area, hungry. Amid chains and independents, this offering turned out to be a refreshing blend of Greek with a touch of American. While I found the menu a bit of a departure- my order did not disappoint. The servers were professional, prompt and personable, and the atmosphere was a delight. And the food had my 'just 1 bite before I head down the road' turning into a guiltless devouring. Don't judge, but the burger was tender, textured and tangy- just a great bite- and the Greek fries were fragrant and fresh. Definitely plan a return visit

I got the beef lamb Gyro and it was so good! The pita was soft and warm and the beef and lamb were tender and flavorful. It was my first time trying a gyro and I’ll definitely be back. They forgot to put fries in mine but I didn’t miss them.

I have had takeout, dine-in, and catering with Nick the Greek. Their food has always been fresh and delicious. For catering, they were very responsive. The food was delicious and packaged so well. They even called to follow up and see how our event went. I would definitely recommend them for a lunch at work to catering for an event. Wonderful food and service!

This meal, or should I say this Meal of the Greek Gods, left me satisfied and a felt like a Greek Stoic for the remainder of the night. Those Chick Peas!!! Rumor has it, the Greek Stoic, Epictetus loved Nick the Greek Mediterranean Bowls. Highly Reccomended

My husband had the gyros and he didn’t say a word as he enjoyed his food! Music made me want to dance! I usually order from uber eats and the food is great even when delivered! The fries are seasoned in a unique seasoning which makes it different from any other fries Ive ever had. The owner is pleasant and hands on, He even brought me utensils! 5 star all the way!

I am ecstatic that we have a Nick the Greek in Fresno!! Walked in right before a rush and was greeted right away. Although I’m not positive, I’m pretty sure that it was the owner who greeted us. Customer service was exceptional, helpful with the menu and brought our food to us. We ordered the falafel pita combo with salad and a soda and the Beef/Lamb plate with fries and a soda. Falafels were warm and flavorful. Salads were good with tomatoes that were very good for this time of the year. The beef/lamb plate was eaten by an extremely picky person and he said that the meat was delicious!! It was tender, juicy, and very flavorful. The pita wedges and fries were warm and perfectly seasoned. I have experience in corporate QSRs (quick serve restaurants) and I would be remiss if I didn’t bring up a few other things. The sodas were great, which some people will take for granted but the fountain machine is being taken care of, it was clean and the syrups (BIBs) were obviously in code. The restaurant was very clean with several surfaces that will show dirt/dust quickly and those surfaces were spotless. Ceiling, vents, light fixtures, floors, tables, chairs, and even the trash can was clean. Do yourself a favor and stop by Fresno’s first Nick the Greek, you will not be disappointed!!!

Just lacks a little more veggies like the lettuce and onion part. Although very good gyro, but prefer a balanced gyro with an an even amount of veggies with the meat. All in all, always a great place to eat, but not the best place. Be sure to ask for more veggies if they choose not to do so, bounce.

Yes, Mediterranean food is pricier wherever you go but you pay a premium for quality. If you want cheap food, then you get what you pay for I ordered the Prasini salad with chicken Souvlakis. The Souvlakis was the only real disappointing thing as it was dry. I was a little unsure about the salad at first because it looked a little plain, but once I tried the salad with the lemon vinaigrette it was one of the freshest and tastiest salads I have had in a while. The salad dressing is money and I would gladly pay to take a bottle of that dressing home. Next, I ordered a side of hummus. The hummus was pretty standard with a little drizzle of oil and paprika, but the toasted pita with herbs that came with it was a nice surprise. Presentation is everything 👌. My husband ordered the gyro plate with beef/lamb. It looked pretty standard. Meat could have been seasoned a little better but it was tender and juicy. I have had bad and dry gyros before and this is not that. His plate came with a side salad which was a nice touch. Overall, the food here is good and the service was good. Not the best Greek food I have ever had but will definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

We only order kebabs but they are always delicious. One of the best place for a quick bite in Fresno.

First timer, and it was only ok. I got the gyro salad with the beef/lamb and the avgolemono soup, and my husband got the beef/lamb gyro. He said the gyro was pretty good, though a bit salty. My salad wasn't bad, though the dressing was a bit too sweet for my taste. The pita was pretty good. The avgolemono soup was a huge disappointment, though. My experience is with avgolemono is a flavorful, creamy soup full of chicken and orzo, and this soup was bland, watery, only a few small bits of chicken with no evidence of any orzo at all. I had my husband try it to make sure it wasn't just me, and he confirmed it just wasn't good. The staff was really friendly, though, and it is a well-kept and clean establishment. I will probably give it another try, but I will avoid the soup.

I really wanted to like this. Ordered a chicken gyro and gyro bowl but the chicken was extremely dry. I'm not sure if we just got the very outside or what but the chicken was dry and tough and honestly the portion of protein wasn't great. The fries were ok.

Ordered 2 gyros with extra tzatziki sauce, got 2 gyros with no sauce at all. Called to rectify the issue and was hung up on twice. Asked for the employees name and the managers name and the employee gave me a fake name and hung up on me. Horrible service and the gyros and soggy fries were nearly as bad.

To top it all off, the restaurant was filthy. There was food under the tables, and the bathrooms were disgusting. Save your money and your taste buds – avoid this place at all costs!"

Scam Alert! This guys sold me a car that looked good on paper but the engine light came on as I was driving home. I took it back for them to check the car. They said they would fix it but two weeks later I have not been given the car back. They don't contact me I am the one asking for updates. I have been told the car is getting fixed for two weeks. They didn't want to let me borrow a car either while they were fixing the car I had just purchased. These guys are scammers!

When a customer asks for the kids plate, you ring them up for the kids plate and not make a customer waste 51 dollars and food for YOUR misunderstanding. They didn’t even include utensils or anything in both bags of food I ended up having to pay for. Insanely low food service.
