This place is absolutely amazing! I seen a few reviews and decided to try it out! I got a meatball sandwich and the Ruben Pizza. The place is nice and has that old school deli vibe! People there were super nice! Got my order and now for the drive home. Lets just say 2 slices didnt make the drive!😁😁😁 pizza was amazing probably top 3 I have had in KC! The meatball sandwich was awesome! Bread was soft meat had a ton of flavor! The pizza was packed full of flavor! Crust was cooked to perfection! I can't say enough about how good the pizza was!! All around the food was off the chain! This is a place you definitely will have to try! Again, just amazing food!! Thanks Price-Rite you guys make a fat kid happy!!🤣🤣🤣

Just eat here for the first time today and the food is amazing! I got the pork tenderloin sandwich and fries The piece of meat it's enormous and so tasty, they put a splash of vinegar to it, cutting the heaviness of the cooking oil, the fries had a touch of seasoning, it was all incredible food, thank you so much!😋
The best mozzarella sticks, chicken parm and more importantly, the itialian egg rolls! So good! Ive never had bad food from here.
Not only is the food really freaking good but the prices and portions are actually really good too especially if you get the daily special. I'll be making this a regular spot to eat.

Such a local treasure! To-go hot or cold food, take-and-bake, frozen (made-in-house) foods, Amish farmer's market items, produce (in-season) and (limited, frozen) meats and seafood. Authentic Italian goods. You can place orders online, call ahead, or order on site. They also accept special orders. Their pizza is terrific as is their cheesecake! Slight discount if paying in cash. There are some picnic tables outside in case you'd like to eat on site.

We lived next to the “little store” for 8 years “back in the day” At that time (early 2000) the owners kept it pretty basic (beer, candy, a few boxed foods) and that’s about it. Originally you could smoke inside and the couple who owned it, had a pet monkey that hung out at the register. The monkey did not smoke or make change. I always thought wouldn’t it be brilliant if someone made this a deli?!? Which is what someone did. Absolutely LOVELY business! Favorite Saturday activity is to take my kiddo on the paved trails behind the store along Line Creek/mini railroad then stuff our faces with the many amazing deli choices the “little store” has. We always take extra items back home for later but end up eating on drive home. Food items are bomb, prices are reasonable (cash discount) and the staff is really cool. Love seeing them thrive. Also love that this community said NO to the QT being put in nearby and YES to supporting this gem! I’d love to see them feature even more local items.
I never heard of this place and I saw a review of this place on TikTok. I'm glad I went there service was amazing and their pizza was outstanding. It was nearly 8 bucks for 2 large slices of amazing pizza. I got the Greek and Supreme slices. And omg they were packed with toppings and flavor. I will be back. Also forgot to mention I got manicotti and meatball and a pumpkin cannoli which were also amazing! The sauce and flavor are to die for!
This place was great! A friend recommended it a while back. I picked my wife up from the airport and we hit this place on the way home to Lee's Summit. Price-Rite is great!! I had an Italian sandwich grilled in the panini press and my wife got a Reuben. We actually ended up having have of each and shared. They were excellent!! We also picked up some Italian sausage from the deli case. I made past with it and some cherry tomatoes from our garden that night. It was amazing! They have groceries and wonderful fresh produce here too. I picked up some ham salad, a banana pepper that went in the pasta too, plus some Colorado peaches. Just a fine place! But there are no public restrooms. It was a long trip home.
Hands down absolutely THE BEST pastrami I've EVER had! Pizzas are great...Strombolis are perfect. Love, LOVE the fresh produce. Daily specials are fantastic and let me add 1 more thing....the Wednesday special is currently their BLT and I never thought I would say anything had TOO much bacon 🥓! Love this place
Local hidden gem. Definitely recommend. Take and bake or order and pick up this store has a little bit of everything. We got pizza, wings and macaroons. Everything was great.
This place is great, it’s kind of like a mini grocery store and they serve hot food. We were in the area and I decided to stop by. We bought some of their take-home meals. And had a slice of pizza so good!! Definitely recommend this place for their food, friendly service and selection.
OMG!!! The best Pastrami sandwich I've ever had. Just 🙏🏽🙏🏽🤌🏽🤌🏽 And an excellent Stromboli. I'm sure everything else is excellent as well.
⭐YOU⭐ MUST⭐GET⭐HERE⭐ We are locals and have heard of the deli and then started following them on social media. Finally got a free afternoon to go, and you all did NOT disappoint!! The staff was very eager to answer any question we had and were quick to gather our many items for a speedy transaction. We took a minute to walk around, trying not to salivate over the deliciousness in the to go/take -bake section.... seriously, I'm getting the spaghetti and meatballs next time!!!....I was amazed at how much the Deli offers!! While we were trying to decide what to eat, no less than 20 people came in and out of the shop to get this or that! What a local delight!! I'd recommend looking at their menu ahead of time, but if you like to enjoy the look and scent of your meal prior....it seemed as though you could joyfully gawk at the items without being hurried to the counter. 😁 Outdoor seating looked great and parking was easy. Definitely something for everyone! Our kids chose the pizza by the slice & hubby and I split a Meatlovers Stromboli.... incredible pastry, with a little hint of sweet mixed with savory! Hubs got a Caesar salad, which was huge and definitely could turn into 2 meals. We got a slice of cheesecake and that was enough for 2 as well! Needless to say, the prices for what you receive are very appropriate and you get the added bonus of giving your $ to a business that clearly deserves it!! Enjoy!
Never been here, boyfriend picked up on the way home and we were pleasantly surprised! Huge portions and tasty food! I got the build your own stromboli with hamburger mushroom and pepperoni. Looks bigger than the online picture and definitely can share it! or like my pregnant self, save half for later! He ordered the Italian beef sandwich and it's delicious! Will be back!
Classic Italian. The two words that come to mind when you enter Price-Rite. Hit with the smells of old Italy as soon as you walk in the door. The owner is the 3rd generation owner. The original structure was built in the 1830s and the front of the business came in the early 1900s. It is the oldest standing business is northland. The Food is fresh and delicious and the prices cant be beat. They also have food you can take to go. If you want a delicious lunch for yourself or dinner for the entire family then Price-Rite is the place for you. They also have fresh produce available for purchase.
great twist on take and bake. the sauce is wonderful all food was seasoned great. Portions were great aswell as the price. can't wait to try something else. stuffed Manicotti with meatballs wonderful .
Price Rite Market & Deli is my favorite convenience store to visit, and I am one of Price Rite’s biggest fans. The things I like about and have eaten from Price Rite include their breakfast burrito, their two topping pizza special on Fridays & Saturdays, and also like their Meatballs Subs and Chicken Spiedini Sandwiches. When I usually walk inside Price Rite Market & Deli, the employees say my name when they greet me. I am happy that I am a valued customer at Price Rite and the employees like to talk with us in the mornings each time we visit the store. The owner’s name is Santo Smiroldo and my father likes to talk with him about issues around the world and they are kind of like friends to each other. This would be a good place to get breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you live near the Line Creek area of Kansas City, after an ice hockey game at the Line Creek Community Center, or even after you have took a train ride on the Kansas City Northern Railroad’s miniature train in Frank Vaydik Park.
Reminds me of a deli in New York City from the 1960s - yup, that good! I had a slice of Meatball Pizza and it was fresh, moist, crunchy, and tasty all rolled into one. They have fresh fruit & veggies, sandwiches, steak, & take home meals. The creaky old wood floors & old style feeling of the deli counter & store are just fun. It’s not a convenience store & not a supermarket but the perfect combo of both with a twist. Just visit & enjoy the experience. Then enjoy the food!
We tried out The Little Store for the first time last week after driving by a few months ago in our new neighborhood and seeing this hidden gem, and we were not disappointed! We ordered a ravioli appetizer with a meatball sub and a chicken spiedini sandwich. The portions were HUGE and the price was on point. The taste was excellent and the food was prepared fresh after we ordered it. They even had a little cozy outdoor patio which made the experience even better. Two days later I was back to try the .99 cent pizza slices that were on Sunday special. I had a slice of pepperoni and a slice of cheese, and they were amazing. So glad we found this place. After living downtown and having access to these types of smaller unique shops that really go the extra mile, we were happy to find The Little Store in the sea of fast food up north. The staff is very friendly and were very nice answering my questions about the food and the history of the place. Looking forward to coming in for dinner for years to come.
All I Can Say Is WOW! Two times in the last couple of days on this forum I have seen other people post about price rite on northwest Waukomis. One of them was in regards to a meatball sub and the other was in regards to a BLT. Now I am well familiar with this place and its location because back in the 90s I drove by it every single day on my way to work at the airport. But in those days they weren't serving cooked food most of it was beer and convenience store items. Not anymore! Not only do they have prepared food they also still have canned foods and beer and alcohol along with a whole lot of fresh vegetables. And to that add deli meats by the pound and a whole rack of pasta and a cooler full of other prepared food items. I ordered the Meat Ball Sub and you have no idea how glad I am that I did. As you can see by the pictures, they take about a 9 inch loaf of bread slice it down the middle, put in four meatballs, cover it with marinara sauce, pile on some cheese, and melt it all together! Incredible flavors! When you bite into the sandwich the first thing you notice is the freshness of the bread it is almost as if it was baked 5 minutes before they made the sandwich. Then you get the sweetness of the marinara and a taste off savory, light, fluffy well flavored meatball, followed by the ooey gooey cheese! The sub, a bag of ships, and a bottle of water set me back $7.99!
I heard that this road side grocery store/ deli made a great Rubin and I can now add my voice to the chorus. It is a great Rubin! You old-timers will remember the New York bakery on Troost made an awesome deli Rubin sandwich. That was the last time I had one this good. Today special was a meatball sandwich and it smelled and looked great as well as the pizza by the slice. It is a small store with a lot of stuff very tight isles like a convenience store. The next time I'm North of the river I'm sure to stop in again.
