Excellent take out. Super busy when I went which is a good sign. Everything was really good. Fried veggie dumplings, broccoli w tofu, fried rice, special won ton soup: all very tasty and fresh. They deliver but I prefer to pick up. You can get beer next door at stop and shop and you are all set!!! I have to add that during the pandemic we have had CHINA PALACE delivered about once a week. We can eat for 3 days from $40 worth of their food. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable. The food is truly delicious. The jumbo shrimp are really jumbo and they give you huge amounts of shrimp. They are so nice on the phone and the delivery person is super accommodating. Very happy to have this food so close and quickly delivered! Thank you China Palace!!

Go for the lunch special. $5.50 get chicken with broccoli, egg drop soup, and a cup of tea and a glass of water. Ask for the vegetable fried rice, same price. You can substitute the egg drop soup with a vegetable spring roll. This place accepts credit cards. Good food.

They Take To Long To Bring The Food when i order

Nothing special here, just a typical strip mall Chinese joint that specializes in takeout. Food was average at best. It was however reasonably priced with good size portions.

The original ownership took horrible care of the restaurant. The carpet was threadbare, the wallpaper peeling, and it was generally unclean. But something else it was guilty of--it was pretty good "neighborhood" Chinese food. Well, a new ownership has really spruced the place up! It's clean, well-appointed and is a much nicer space to be in. One tiny, little problem, however. The food is garbage. If you don't like flavor, China Palace is the place for you. One word to describe it: B-L-A-N-D. Sadly, Glen Cove, the only actual 'city' on Long Island other than Long Beach, is now bereft. There is simply not one good Chinese restaurant in the entire town. The closest quality Chinese food is just west of Glen Cove Road, on Northern Boulevard (25-A) in Greenvale. An old diner that was turned into Hunan Taste years ago. The people who work there are assholes--very unfriendly, but their food is top notch. The take out place on Forest Avenue, in the small row of taxpayer stores, China King, near Aboff's, is actually miles better than China Palace, and it's not very good at all. Happily, the once dreaded "Taste of China" in Bayville, has become palatable. No. MORE than palatable. It's hard to imagine that it has improved to such lofty heights, considering the poison dispensary it used to be years ago. There are a couple of take out places in Oyster Bay that are better than China Palace, and they suck too. Mid-China is palatable, but Happy Garden is not. So, it comes down to Hunan Taste in Greenvale, which I mentioned, and a place that is closest to what we remember as good neighborhood Chinese--The Orient. It's at 623 Hicksville Rd. in Bethpage. Kwong Ming on Jerusalem Ave. is good as well.

Call to place a Delivery and Part of my order was an add on and request the add on to be in a separate container . The guy was so rude and didn’t want to accommodate my request and said if you don’t want it our way then too bad. What an unpleasant experience.

Had food from here for dinner last night I was the only person in my house who got Chinese. I woke up this morning so sick throwing up and constantly on the toilet. Definitely got a mild case of food sickness.

First of all the person who answers the phone to take the order sounded like she couldn’t even be bothered. But that could be overlooked if the food was good . I placed a take-out order the other evening and that will be the last time they will ever get my business. I never ate such disgusting food in my life with zero taste. I ordered chicken with blackbean sauce which was basically Black bean sauce with carrots onions and green peppers and the few pieces of chicken that tasted like MUSH .

Delivery 2 hours late! I live in a senior residence and reception desk closed and doors locked ! I called multiple times and they kept felling me driver was only 5 minutes away ! I live in a n assisted living facility am disabled and had to go to the lobby from my apt to get the cold food !!! I had already eaten Cold cereal and a banana ! Awful service awful food .. I called the restaurant 4 times and they kept telling me he will be right there ! Told them reception desk it’s not staffed after 7:30 PM. When 730 came I called them and told them to have the driver eat the food and credit my account. They ignored me of course.. I tasted the food .. awful, dry, undercooked, part of the order was left out. This restaurant should not be in business. They have no expertise in service. Cooking.What customer service.
