The restaurant is nicely decorated. Lighting is aesthetically pleasing and the furniture is great. The bathrooms were nice as well with full body mirrors. We went for dinner around 6pm on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy at all. Service was awesome. The waiters kept checking on us and the hosts were nice. The menu we received was one sheet, two sides with the front side being all food and the back side all drinks. I only saw alcoholic drinks. I asked the waiter if they had strawberry lemonade as we didn't want alcohol. He said they could make it for us. I think they also have sodas but I didn't see the choices on the menu. I get the feeling its popular for nightlife eating, if you like going out for drinks it would be a great place to eat and drink. The food itself was decent. I'm mexican myself so I expected a bit more from it. Things that should be flavorful or spicy were a bit bland. If you don't like strong flavors you will be fine. I wanted more flavor. My refried beans seemed almost from a can. The steak was cooked perfectly but wasn't super flavorful. The guac was bland, so was the avocado dipping sauce our taquitos came with. The salsa wasn't spicy at all. The taquitos were yummy and all in all everything tasted clean. I wouldn't say it tasted like authentic mexican food but it also wasn't super fancy either. It felt a bit overpriced for how it tasted but the service and ambiance makes up for it a bit.

Cool atmosphere and decor. Good food. Great shots! Shrimp enchiladas were decent. The refried beans and rice were alright. The tortilla soup had flavor out of this world! I would go back for that alone.

Beautiful ambiance with massive bar. Inside and outside seating. Excellent service. We were seated within a minute on a Saturday, without reservation, party of 4 for late lunch. I tried their enchilada with salsa verde. We all enjoyed our cocktails. I esp liked their punta fuego.😋 They validate, but you still have to pay a few bucks for parking. This was my 2nd time at this place with my co-workers at both times.

Had not visited in about a bit over a yr, our intention was to go to cheesecake factory then a movie, but wait was 1hr plus, so we thought let's try Fridas we haven't been in a while. We'll so so glad we did, ZERO wait time. We were seated right away, 1st server came over almost right behind the hostess who sat us,and left tus fresh chips and salsa, immediately after they took our drink order and we had our drinks in the table within 2 max 3min. They have definitely made a few changes nothing drastic, but most importantly definitely elevated the service. The food was delicious, the kids menu excellent, our food was nice and hot, ready to eat hot, not microwave burn your mouth hot. It was delicious, and the only reason I gave it a 4 is because my mole had a bit of something missing in the taste, my husband's thinks it was just me, but it used to remind me of my grandma's mole, this time it did not at all :/ I still ate it and enjoyed my time with my family. Also, we were early for the movie, so because of their amazing service and delicious food we had a wonderful evening 😊 our money well spent 😊 highly recommend 😊 (Sorry so long winded)

They were fairly empty on a Thursday at 6:30 but almost full by 7:45 when we left. The hostess was also our waitress and she was fabulous! Thank you Khristina! She recommended the Molcajete Frita and it was very good. It had some kind of melty cheese in it that was delicious. The fried plantains were semi crispy outside, gooey inside and the exact right amount of sweet. The Frita platter was a bit of a let down. The quesadilla was average. The potato taquito was just unseasoned mashed potato in a tortilla and the mini sopes weren’t edible. I couldn’t cut them with a knife or even bite through them because they were too tough. I did eat the small portion of refried beans on top of them and they were good. As you can see from the photos , all the avacado and guacamole was semi brown. That’s fine at home but not for a fine dining restaurant. We also two beverages, one being a coconut margarita. If you like coconut… don’t skip on this. The chips were a generous portion and the salsas were very good. I especially liked the bright green one. I would recommend this place because the molcajete Frita was something worth trying. Our total was $89 before tip.

Great atmosphere and service. Food is expensive, overrated, not very flavorful, and not very hot. Three basic Mexican dinners for a hundred bucks. SMH. Chips and salsa are good though, but there's a tiny basket for the table and you pay for more - seriously petty. Can easily get better quality and quantity elsewhere for less.

My wife and I joined my friend family to dine here yesterday. They made reservation and the restrauant was able to accommodate for our party of 13. They seated us in toward the back of the restrauant and the inside of this place is nice with outdoor seating. They also have a special menu for kids too. I got the Salmon A LA Diabla and asked for the chile sauce on the side. The Salmon was not seasoned well which I think it's because they usually put the chile sauce over it. I didn't like the taste of the chile sauce so I used the salsa and green sauce that came with the chips. The rice that came with my plate wasn't good either and the asparagus wasn't cooked correctly. My wife got the chicken with Mole and she enjoyed her dish. They give you a decent size so it will be fulfilling. My friend got their chile relleno and he thought his dish was okay as well but nothing too special. The prices for these dishes are also high, especially just 1 taco but it's understandable since it's at the Americana. My wife also got their Margaritas for her drink while I got a coke. Our waitress was okay in the beginning but after we got our food, I didn't see her again to get refill on my coke. My rating: Food: 3 star, I did not enjoy my dish and for the price they charge for it I don't think it was worth it. They give you a lot of tortilla chips with the salsa. Service: 3.5 star, the service wasn't that great but also wasn't so bad either. Our waitress was nice but she just wasn't that attentive to our table. Parking: 4 star, they validate parking if you park near the restrauant or you can park at a parking structure across the street that give 90 minutes free.

Ok. Don’t let those good drinks you got at the bar one time fool you. I should have “listened” to all those other reviews. The food is not good. There was little to no seasoning. The food came out tepid at best and then left a greasy taste in your mouth. The flautas were weirdly covered by excess shredded lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream (to cover up the ridiculously thick tortillas covering the tasteless meats inside, no doubt). The carnitas were lacking in flavor. The drinks bought to the table lacked the flare (and the flavor) of those we had at the bar. The space itself, is weirdly expansive. The mirrored ceiling makes the empty coldness even worse. Top tip, don’t go and wait for a table - any table - anywhere else at the Americana.

Holiday time so off course some large parties are to be present not many small tables since it was also 2 pm when we stopped by. Ultimately the feeling was table neglected the steak taste was almost spoiled. Had to literally raise my voice saying excuse me to make sure I was acknowledged. Had reservations for 6:00, for 3 adults and two children. Received our nachos appetizer at 6:44 which came out ice cold. Notified our server and right at 7:00 our appetizer reappeared on a tray with all of our entrees. I proceeded to send the nachos back, because appetizers normally arrive before the entree but moving along…. My nephews chicken tenders were piping hot, my sons cheese quesadilla luke warm and every adult entree, again, ICE COLD. My husbands potato taquitos arrived about 4 minutes later and they surprisingly were hot. Again, I notified the server our food was cold and asked for a manager. About 8 or 9 minutes later Liz, the manager arrives seemingly not really very unapologetic and her idea of fixing our experience was to comp everything (that mind you came out cold) except the drinks (both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and the kids meal. We paid 52.92 before tip, for a horrific experience and I ended my night ordering to go from Cheesecake Factory because after almost 2 hours I still had not eaten. I normally frequent Frida in Sherman oaks which unfortunately closed down but service is amazing, and also Frida Beverly Hills who has phenomenal service as well. You literally cannot pay me to visit this location ever again. Oh I failed to mention the surrounding tables who sat over 20 minutes after us had food before we did. And I mentioned it to Liz she blamed that on the kitchen being “backed up” this is just another example of restaurants charging an arm and a leg these days for subpar food and horrible customer service. The staff including management needs training.

My family and I had one of the worst experiences at this restaurant today. Family came from out of state and decided to visit this place. "BAD IDEA". To start, the waiter that waited on us took a very long time to take our order. When the food came out it was cold, and most of the food had no flavor what-so-ever, the beans were burned and they still serve them. All of our drinks never got a refill, until we complained to 2 manager, which did horrible at taking care of the issue. The managers and the waiter were all in a hurry. The waiter was rushing us when he was taking our order. He would cut us off or ignore us at times. He was hardly around to see if we needed anything. Plus, he was extremely rude when we brought the bad service we got, to his attention. I don't mind paying for a good, expensive meal, except when the food and service is this bad. We left most of our food untouched so, we ended up going to another restaurant from here. There, we were given the best service ever...
