I love the senior staff the most. Not happy in general when they rotate new workers, but the way to handle that is to be VERY specific with how you want your pizza if you're not fond of small changes of how they prepare or top your pizza. For example, say and use many adjectives, otherwise sometimes they get really "lazy" about it and just drizzle whatever it is you want in an unorganized fashion. They're moving back and forth with allowing patrons use shakers or having to REMEMBER to put add ons prior to the oven, but otherwise, as a whole its a great place to eat.

Pieology pizzeria and Granada hills has a great option for different types of vegan food they also have good options for chicken and beef for those who like it they do make the pizza fresh which is nice sometimes though I noticed the food could be cross contaminated so those with dietary restrictions should be aware but other than that they do seem that they try to have good quality food fresh salads good drinks and they are local in the valley and they do pick up now from what I know

My review was negative before I havent gone in a long time. We were Hungry and gave them another chance. It looks like things have changed. Thanks to an awesome worker who went above and beyond. Too bad I didn't get his name, but he was working there last night! 5/26/25

Pizza was great, I loved that they had on a Disney movie for the kids. They sat and ate quietly. Also the staff were friendly and helpful!

My kids always like this place. The person making pizza said he has mastered the BBQ chicken pizza and that's what I got. When I go back, I'll be sure to tell him how good it was.

Great pizza. Great staff. Only complaint would be those metal chairs making the most uncomfortable loud sound every time someone moves and the entire restaurant cringes. Management, all you need is those soft furniture pads. Try HomeGoods in the same shopping center and save us all from the sounds from hell.

Being a Pizza Rev customer, I wanted to try this place so I can compare. I found out that they have similar pizza compared to Pizza Rev but they don't have some of the ingredients like White Sauce. Other than that, they are very similar but I prefer Pizza Rev over Pieology.

Wonderful combination pizza!!! But also, there ranch sauces tremendously good!. Something different than other Pizza chains.

Its a very good size pizza. Friendly staff. There are vegan options as well but no vegan meat substitutes. Good amount of indoor and outdoor seating too.

Practically a create-your-own-pizza restaurant! Thin crust, oven, firepit baked pizzas. Delicious! Place is decent to dine-in, but you can also take-out! Parking kinda sucks - just FYI!

I love the concept and the food is great. Even when it is busy, it generally does not take long to make the food. There is a huge selection of toppings and many different styles of crust. I am in no way cauliflower person, but the cauliflower crust is great, you cannot even taste it! The staff is friendly and nice, enjoyable to interact with. Main reason I gave it a 4 is due to the price. For the amount of food or size of the pizza that you get, it is pretty expensive.

Same good build your own pizza and great service. The place looks a bit outdated, it's been there for a while. One complaint I have is that I cannot see the ingredients or toppings as I placed my order and did not look very appealing.

The pizza is made assembly line style, made most famous by Subway. Start by picking your dough, then choose your sauce, cheese, and unlimited toppings! They have many different choices to pick from to truly make that pizza your own special creation. The staff is very friendly and I love the crunchy crust! The only thing is this location is not very big so seating on the inside is limited, but they do have outdoor seating available as well if you need it.

This is the Subway equivalent for Pizza as you are able to choose the crust, sauce and the toppings you want.

Giving it three stars cause I know it can be good. It's slowly gone down hill as time goes by. Seems to have happened ever since the Hispanic manager left. Today was bad, my daughter's pizza had half the cheese and pepperoni missing, since they didn't watch the pizza and it bubbled pushing everything off to the side. I got a salad that had lettuce that looked like it had been frozen plus old rotten lettuce. I asked for a replacement and didn't get much better of one. Maybe we'll have to start trying other pieologys further away. It's sad.

It's okay, however the dough could be better. It could be crisper. The topping choices are nothing special. Good for the basic pizza. Friendly staff😊

If you're with a group, service can be a bit slow, so anticipate a little more time.

They got the toppings right on both, but: 1) One of the pies ordered as deep dish, came as a thick crust pie...so completely different size and experience between the two, and basically not what we ordered. 2) The second, a basic cheese pie on thick crust, came with the cheese stuck to the top of the box, so when we opened it up all the cheese came off the pizza. (If you ever wondered what those little plastic "table" looking things that sometimes come in the middle of your delivery pizza are, now you know. So basically the entire order was not right. That's tough when it's a delivery order, especially through a third-party app. (Full disclosure, the delivery service gave a refund.) We're really limited in pizza options up here in the Santa Clarita Valley, so are happy that we can get Pieology imported via delivery from the San Fernando Valley and we hope in the future to not have this kind of experience doing so.

Ordered Uber eats and called the store ahead of time to make sure they put marinara sauce with my breadsticks and a pesto. Didn’t happen and the line was busy after that. I’d be a lot more understanding if there was at least one marinara sauce with the breadsticks. You kind of figured that should go with it without even having to ask. Nope 👎🏻

I've never complained publicly before and i tried to call the store but the phone number isn't working, correctly it keeps asking for a code - last time I got 2 pizzas - quite recently - they weren't even cut, I called the store to let them know that and the person I spoke to offered to credit the charge, I wouldn't allow them to credit them - but tonight is really bad, one of the pizzas was half burned but one of the pizzas was entirely inedible. I had to throw it out - it was black all over. As I said< I tried to call but couldn't even get through. I loved Pieology but now I think I need to try Pizza Rev

Cauliflower crust was good! Sadly, the toppings (cheese, red sauce,.. etc) didn't have much flavor. I've had better tasting pizzas from the other custom pizza shops. Also, check the nutrition facts on the other crusts, more carbs and calories than PizzaRev. I hope the other get a cauliflower crust too

I went today 11/1/16 this is my 5th time going there. I like the pizza the service is great but today I was so upset about my food my pizza was the size of a personal pizza that's how small it was it was not worth what I payed today I payed $13.00. I have a question did you guys change the size of the pizza. Cause what I got today is not worth to pay $10.00.

This place is a very hit or miss. The times it was bad outnumber the times it was good. I wish a blaze pizza was in the area. If anyone has any suggestions on where to go to get a better pizza around, please let me know.

The pizza was good they , I asked someone if they could have take the Pizza outside cuz I have my son with me and I couldn't leave him alone he say yes after 10 minutes nothing happened so I stand up and asked and they said I called my name but no one took the pizza until I asked if they could have bring my pizza to my table that's it they need more customer service

Gloria is rude!!!! I don’t understand every time we come she has a short and angry attitude with us for no reason. I don’t know what me and my husband ever did to her but all the other staff is extremely kind, her hostility makes us want to go to the Porter Ranch location over this one. I will literally avoid coming here if I see she’s working the orders and I tell my friends and family to do the same. Poor excuse for a business manager when they make you feel unwelcome and like you’re a bother just for ordering food how you like it and using the app to earn points, we don’t even do anything excessive and have never had someone so bothered by us at any other pieology.

The pizza was good. I ordered a spicy sausage with mild sausage. Added some blue cheese with the mozerella cheese and the marinara sauce. Good stuff. When I got there there was no line. Well no physical line. I had to wait for 4 people to fulfill online orders. The 5th person emerged from the back only to jump on the phone. And the life in the place was drained. When I walked in I was like Wazzuppp! Trying to wake up the dead. One of them seemed to be offended. So my overall experience was not so good. Oh, did I mention the FLY that was buzzinzg around behind the counter? I dont like giving bad reviews but it is what it is.

Terrible service. ..waited almost 45minute for one pizza. Poorly staffed, only two people at the counter at 1pm- during lunch hour (and they were chatting instead of attending to customers). Two other employees in the back....didn't come to help. Who staffs and only puts two employees to attend to customers during lunch?? It's shame because the pizza is actually good.

Made a mobile order that was supposed to be ready for pickup at 7:30. Arrived at that time to see them just barely starting to make the pizza. Also there were 3 staff on hand and a few customers, and the staff made zero effort to even say hello to anybody. Super rude.

Worst customer service, whatever we ordered wasn’t delivered and we were promised a free pizza along with a free pizza. We went to go pick it up but they refused to give the item that was missed… this is the third time this has happened.

Used to love this place, but sadly management has gone down... didn't have clean brushes or special sauces set aside for allergic people (I'm one), plus pans were dirty. Not coming back to this one again.

We will not be going there again. we were there either Sunday the 26th or Monday the 27th. There was no wait time, the pizzas were good, and the cashier was very attentive and chatty. However, one of the preparers was only covering her mouth and not her nose with her mask. I was made uncomfortable by this, but I continued my transaction and tried to leave the establishment quickly. But the customer behind us did bring it up, telling someone, only to be visibly mocked and then ignored. I doubt that customer is going back again either. A face covering is NOT an option in any public place anywhere in Los Angeles right now, especially if you're in the food market. And the workers were ridiculously rude to a customer who was only voicing a legitimate concern. By the way, we were only there because the sites we visit are closed due to the pandemic, so you effectively lost us as your customers.

today only 3 pieology employees were in charge of ruining our dinner. We are regular customers and we arrive at 830 pm. In front of us there were 4 people making 4 pizzas. The employees were talking, laughing, with an exaggerated slowness making each of the pizzas. One of them using an Iwatch (are you guys aloud this?) just looking again and again at the time. Our surprise was that the manager was there with out any interest in the service/attention and he was also were just talking to the others. We spent 50 min waiting on the line and of those 45 min or so they spent 30 min just preparing the pizzas, since they were very busy talking and then they tell us that we have to eat them outside because they have already closed. At 930 we started eating. Bad service. completely dirty. employees who are not qualified to serve kindly and efficiently. It's the last time we go to this site. total lack of interest... one of them even grab the phone with the preparation gloves and went back with out changing changing them... who ever is in charge of this Pielogy at Granada Hills should take a look of the video camera recorders of tonight 2/16/2020 starting around 8:20 - 8:30 pm.

The wait was too long which i didn't mind but after that long wait i received a burnt pizza and when i brought it to Diego's attention he never even apologized. He rolled his eyes, talked to me with attitude and send me to wait back in line to get the pizza remade. Not what a PAYING customer needs.

Every time I return to Pieology Granada Hills my order takes longer and longer. As I write this review my pizza is going on 20 minutes delayed. Ordering ahead is a joke. There is no management. The employees are drones and have no clue who's pizxas are ready. I think this will be my last time wasting money here. It is just Pizza and they are unable to manage their time wisely.

My boyfriend got food poisoning from the salad last night.

Too expensive for a low level pizza. Even though dough is fresh it feels like 3 dollars frozen pizza dough.

I placed a order thinking I would get good pizza according to their pictures on Uber eats, pizza arrives undercooked on top and burnt on the bottom.

I felt discriminated by the kid in the curly brown hair. He looked as if he hated me and the rest of my relatives. We did receive our pizzas but they were all shaped horribly like seriously! It was a serious mess believe me. The young boy gave us a look that just had pier hate towards us and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else because nobody deserves this.

UPDATE: I was told in the response to contact this location ASAP. I did and absolutely no one I talked to knew what was going on or what I was supposed to do. Why was I told to contact you guys with such urgency when no one was there to help? Absurdly understaffed with lethargic, bored employees. Their standard amount of cheese on a pizza is, without exaggeration, about a tablespoon. Literally not enough to even cover half of the dough. Don’t be surprised when they go out of business in the next few months

Worst pizza I've had in I don't know how long ...absolutely disgusting! flavor was bad product seemed old. Pizza wasn't cooked through the staff was rude. You could tell they didn't want to be there. Never going back again. Spent 49.00 + for garbage. I hope I don't get sick.

I like vegetables on my pizza things like mushrooms, tomatoes, bell pepper and so on. What I got was an anemic Pizza. Like one mushroom per slice. Hardly any veggies. I'm not going back

Last pizza I ordered was absolutely burnt and I noticed it when I arrived home so I could not come back. I had to cook for my son who was already upset. I gave them the chance to do something by sending them an internal message, but as I did not receive any answer: here you go! I am not sorry.

Please let ur employees knw that if someone is spending $18 on a pizza and he ask for extra salt they should provide it rather than saying that we dnt have anything to give u extra salt and pepper pathetic experience and does salt costs that much that u guys can not provide extra salt and peppr to ur customers never seen this kinfld of behavior at any pizza place and for sure i ll never gonna recommend any one to come over this location to get a pizza with no salt if u cant provide salt put a notice that plzz bring bring ur own salt and pepper i am really disappointed with the behavior of ur employees teach them what customer service is

This business is getting worse every day. They just told me they can only add one pinch of each item. It's not worth what they charge for a crumb of protein and a piece of dough. I've had tons of bad experiences at this place, but now they don't want to add anything to the pizza either. Today is my last time in this business.

Omg so many mistakes in one order. come at opening and nobody was inside. my calzone was burned,see photo, cookie was hard like it was made 1yr ago. Asked for ranch and was giving red sauce. Calzone all stuffing busted open and was impossible to eat. Avoid this location. Base on other reviews, manager don’t care. They did provided refund and apologize.
