I’ve never enjoyed every bite of food so much as in Imad’s. It was our 2nd visit, we chose different dishes from last time and still haven’t found any disappointing. We had some hummus with gf garlic and plain pita, followed by Falafel, a classic, and Dhahabiya, which completely blew my tastebuds of flavour. Then we continued with Shish Tawook, a grilled chicken breast with roasted potatoes, and finalized with Beef Shaqaf, grilled, healthy and no extra carbs. The place is super celiac friendly. Almost the whole menu is gluten free! I felt very safe on their hands, with their recommendations over any potential cross-contamination. Nevertheless, do raise your allergy with staff so that they can best guide you.

I had an amazing experience at Imad’s Syrian Kitchen. Every single dish was incredibly delicious — full of flavour and beautifully cooked. The food was genuinely outstanding. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, and the whole place has such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended — I’d definitely come back!

Fantastic Syrian culinary experience. Dishes are tasty, flavorful and greatly presented. Portions are fairly balanced. We loved everything we had. We walked in without reservation and got lucky in finding a table, it was off peak hours. Staff and service were up to standards. Highly recommended, for couples or group of people, we'll definitely go back as soon as possible to try more of their menu.

Wow, what a find! The food was incredibly delicious and fresh. Some of the best falafel and hummus I have ever had. The hostess and my server were so nice and helpful, I wish I had gotten their names (I was there on a Monday night and dined at the window by myself). I also enjoyed a really tasty pomegranate lemonada and Syrian chai. This is a new go-to spot for me in London.

Best Syrian food in London, right near Oxford Circus on Carnaby Street! My partner used to bring his colleagues here because it’s such a great central spot with amazing food. They have delicious lunch dishes that come with a few dips like hummus and baba ganoush, and you can choose chicken, lamb, or falafel. I’ve been here many times with him, and the falafel is an absolute must. We order it every single time. The food is always fresh, tasty, and full of flavour.

Absolutely amazing food. The roast aubergine with beans was delicious and the falafel was the best I’ve ever had. Staff were really lovely. The only negative was that the restaurant was crazy loud - felt like we were having to shout to have a conversation.

Imad's Syrian Kitchen provides amazing food that is well seasoned and has a real depth of flavour - the mezze choices are all particularly good. The cocktails give more interesting flavour profiles and the Lebanese pilsner was refreshing. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and polite.

Absolutely loved the food at Imads!! The fatuous was so refreshing, rhe beef shaqaf was delicious and had a LOVELY red pepper aubergine and onion base to it that I could have eaten double of. I think the dish is smaller than the others in many at same price range so management needs to think about value for money. Either add another skewer or something for the side The lamb shoulder shredded was also really delicious and the nuts added a nice decision to the flavour and texture Id like to thank Mohammad our wonderful waiter. He was so polite, attentive and made our evening wonderful. He even went above and beyond at accommodating my request to pray. Thank you Will be back.. especially for that pomegranate lemonade!!!

Had a great time expecting Syrian food. The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor and tucked away in the corner. We tried a mixed of items and the food was tasty with a Middle Eastern flavour, and loved their mocktails. I think i enjoyed the dessert the most as it was different and unique but very tasty, would definitely recommend the ice cream.

Absolutely beautiful. The food was fresh and tasty. Portion size generous and reasonably priced. We will definitely be making a second visit. The lamb's liver was exceptional. Every dish we had was exquisite. Thank you

Fantastic place for a quick lunch. Both my colleague and I opted for the ‘express lunch’ and what a good choice that was. Service was quick and the food was excellent. The express has a number of different dishes to it all combined as one, and a great way to sample what they have to offer. Delicious.

wow, what an amazing dinner. food is absolutely unbeatable and service was above and beyond. our waiter, Niamh, was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and shared some compelling recommendations (you can tell they were very passionate about the menu!). Great selection of drinks, both alcoholic & non. Food is served family style so everyone can get stuck in and was delicious. 100% would return. thanks so much to Imad & the team

If you're looking for the best breakfast in London, Imad's is definitely your place. Imad's Breakfast plate is full of fresh flavors and includes the best chai tea I've had the pleasure of drinking. Plus, they top it off with complimentary still or sparkling water. Great service and friendly people.

We celebrated a joint 40th and 7th birthday here and had such a wonderful experience! We chose the set menu which included delicious starters — baba ganoush, fatoush, hummus, cauliflower and falafel — all beautifully fresh and full of flavour. The mains were just as impressive, with slow-cooked lamb, chicken, and aubergine with lentils that were simply outstanding. Be careful not to over-order like we did (the portions are generous!), but thankfully they provided takeaway boxes so nothing went to waste. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating — they even made a birthday card for us and sang happy birthday, which was such a lovely touch. A brilliant experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, tasty Syrian food and warm, welcoming service!

I’m not one to leave reviews of places where i go to eat but i was very impressed. A great old fashion, great service as well. Was taken care of by Nayeem great guest interaction as well. Check on us as well. Food was great too! The host was very accommodating as well managed to get us a table without a reservation!

My daughter and I had dinner at Imad’s Syrian Kitchen off Carnaby Street last week and were blown away. Soumaya greeted us warmly and got us a great window seat, and Andrea provided fantastic service — quick, friendly, and full of great recommendations. The baba ghanoush, za’atar pita, Bangadora salad, and suda lamb liver were all incredible, and the Calitoos cocktail and Imad Negroni were perfect. Generous portions, great value, and some of the best flavors I’ve had in a long time. Can’t wait to go back and bring friends!

First time been there, and definitely it is going to be my regular restaurant to visit during my trips to London. Apart from the food that is amazing, what captured my attention is the various nationalities you see there. People from every country visiting and enjoying a good meal. The food was really nice and delicious. The flavours melt in your mouth. Presentation captures your eye. Authentic taste of Middle Eastern taste, in all means. It takes you back home. You feel welcomed the moment you step in, and you receive the best service ever. Staff so friendly and helpful.

Great experience, went here for a birthday lunch. Ordered Muhammara • (dip) Roasted red peppers, pomegranate, chilli, walnut Fattoush • Lettuce, mixed radish, tomato, crispy pita, mint Shish Tawook • Grilled chicken, spiced potato, harissa mayo, pita As birthday was given Baklawa a Filo pastry with caramelized nuts All our dishes were beautiful flavours, great friendly staff.

Imad’s Syrian Kitchen absolutely delivered—both the chicken and lamb were outstanding: tender, juicy, and bursting with warm Syrian spices that linger in the best way. The seasoning balance was spot on, and the meats were cooked perfectly, making every bite feel special without being heavy. Service was warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that lively, cozy buzz that makes it perfect for a relaxed dinner in London. Highly recommend for anyone after beautifully cooked Middle Eastern flavours—especially the chicken and lamb. Our hostess was also very friendly

Never had Syrian food before, but if all Syrian food tasted like this, I’d have to start eating it more often. Everything was good except the chicken thigh. That was phenomenal. Get it first, thank me later.

We were a group of 10 people and I was impressed with the service - very friendly and efficient. We had to order the set menu and everything was fresh and delicious and we didn't have to wait long for the food either. My favourite dish was the hummus and the ice cream with baklava. The texture of the ice cream is a bit weird on the first bite but it's actually very nice.

Warm lovely place, friendly staff, quick service although very busy. Not 100% traditional, however the fusion of the Syrian/ Mediterranean didn’t disappoint!! Enjoyed every bite. Would definitely recommend 👍🏻👍🏻

Excellent service, nice ambience and very good food. Our personal highlight from the menu was the Saroja - absolutely delicious 💯. Would definitely dine here again.

This was our first time to visit and I can assure you it won’t be the last. The staff was super friendly and accommodating to our all our asks. The food was flavorsome and great in portions as well. The place is quite spacious and the overall ambience is just peaceful and calm. We will give it another try for lunch the next time.

We came here to celebrate a friend's engagement. I could not fault a thing about this place. We were treated SOOOO well even though the majority of our party were either late or a bit. I personally am not the biggest fan of pomegranate on savoury dishes, however this is a personal preference, and I know that this ingredient is used in a lot of this cuisine. Every thing was delicious but my personal fave was the labneh 😍 I cannot wait to return and I have also recommended this place to many others!

I was welcomed by friendly staff, the decor was lovely and the seating very comfortable. The food was delicious I had Hummus and garlic pitta, lambs liver mezze and lamb shoulder and rice washed down with a Beirut beer. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I probably had enough for two people but was eating on my own so I left extremely full. Would highly recommend and would definitely go again.

I love the food and portions here are plenty well worth the visit and the ambiance is so relaxed we had Imad’s breakfast special and the Pistachio ice cream with candy floss - A must place to visit in central London

We visited Imad’s for lunch and went for their Express Lunch, which includes your choice of chicken or lamb served with silky hummus, smoky baba ghanoj, fresh salad, and warm pita. We tried both meats — the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned, while the lamb had a rich depth of flavor that paired beautifully with the dips. The portions were just right for a light yet satisfying meal, and everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. A great spot if you’re after authentic flavors and a quick but high-quality lunch in the city.

It’s no wonder it’s so highly rated. The food is amazing. We had the lamb shoulder, the lamb skewers, the pita with herb and baba ganoush and was amazing as well as the round fried things (can’t remember what they’re called). Tea selection was great but wouldn’t recommend the hibiscus tea unless you like sour teas (:

This is a fabulous restaurant in the heart of many many tourist traps. Each dish is carefully thought of and the attention to detail is clear with the level of service we received. The Fattoush was fresh and bright, the aubergine was smoky and sweet and both lamb and chicken were perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend coming here!

Very good. £176 for lunch today with three people and 4 drinks. Not cheap, but very good food. Service was excellent - although- we had to ask for empty plates to be removed several times, but a very minor thing. Staff were friendly and kind despite being very busy. Although we saw one or two walk-ins, booking is pretty much essential. Food was excellent and really presented. The donuts were pretty amazing and highly recommended!! Will return.

My 2 friends and I had a genuinely lovely time at Imad's Syrian Kitchen. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and comforting. The staff and the service were just unbelievably efficient, lovely and good humoured. We couldn't have asked for anything more. And when I mentioned to one of the servers that it was my friend's birthday, he and his colleagues lead a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday with a complimentary desert treat and birthday card as well! Honestly, it was the cherry on the [birthday] cake! I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. Thank you to Aniket and his 2 colleagues (whose names I unfortunately didn't get) for just being the kindest and warmest staff that we have had the pleasure to be served by!

I am difficult to impress after having spent many years of my life working in restaurants around London. My friend and I went to Imad's randomly due to it providing halal meat. We were greeted by a lovely and helpful Greek host (do not know his name) who when asked gave us great food suggestions. We got a table not long after arrival without having booked and had some drinks at the bar. The bar staff were great, we were taken to our table and our drinks too, the floor staff were great. Everyone was friendly, professional and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was great and authentic. A rare 5/5 from me, super impressed, would definitely recommend and return.

I visited Imad’s yesterday and I was very impressed with the food. I am giving it five stars for the food alone. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious and some of the dishes were things I had never had before, which made the experience even more exciting. The location is also great, on the second floor of Kingly Court, and in my opinion it is the best restaurant in the entire building. I would definitely recommend going up to the second floor just to try it because it is much better than the other options in Kingly Court. The only downside is the noise level. The restaurant is quite small and the tables are very close to one another, which makes it extremely loud. Even without music playing, the surrounding conversations made it almost impossible to properly chat with my friend. We ended up having to shout or sit in silence. Another small negative is the portion size. We ordered the beef skewers and only received two very tiny skewers for £20, which felt quite disappointing for the price. A few more skewers would have made it feel more reasonable. That said, I would still highly recommend Imad’s for the food alone because it really is exceptional.

S
Sajid Abdulla

Good food. Designed for sharing. It has a few but good options. Everything we ordered was delicious. For a group of 3, we ordered 2 dips, 4 mezze and 1 large plate. This was the perfect amount of food for 3 ppl. The wait staff was also very friendly and guided us with good recommendations. The only reason it isnnot 5 is because the drinks (mocktails) could he better.

B
Batul (Batsy)

I went during the Christmas break with my cousin, I had wanted to go come here for a long time, the food was AMAZING, my favourite were the beef skewers and the pulled lamb, it was all very good. I love that they have sharing plates and a great vegetarian selection also. The Hisbiacus tea is also very good and if you close your eyes and eat you might think you are in Damascus… I will be back.

D
Diane Parkins

Great food - fluffy plain pittas, labina was tasty. Mains were a good size and under £20. We arrived ahead of the evening rush and it was pretty busybody the time we left, making it abit difficult to get passed people - if you have mobility issues, it'd be best to avoid peak periods.

Walked through Kingly Court many times and didn’t realise there were restaurants upstairs but this is definitely worth finding. Very helpful staff and, for a midweek lunch, was fairly full. Not sure what to have so picked the chicken express lunch £24.50 and a glass of reasonably priced wine. Will be back to try more.

P
Piotr Golebiowski

Food quite nice, portions average (especially beef I would say quite small with no rice or chips). In general not a big choice but quite good choice. Price s moderate, for some may be considered as moderate-high.

I
Irfan Mohammed

Amazing, tasty food that’s always enjoyable, especially when visiting in groups. It never disappoints, and I always look forward to coming back. I have visit countless times now. However, I do have a criticism: I’ve regularly noticed a fly or two, which I suspect may be due to cleaning issues. Despite this, the quality of the food and overall experience makes it worth a visit.

F

The place was packed. There was no tables available. It’s best to go with reservation on Thursday evening. Staff found us a table for three. Food Is really good and the atmosphere is lively. The bathroom needs thorough cleaning . Mould growing around sink .

B

Everything we had was delish. But it’s understaffed and service is slow and staggering. It’s too loud and too crowded. Interior design is faulty, you can’t hear yourself even if you shout out.

M

Visited for lunch and had a good experience overall. Ordered baba ghanoj and hummus dips, falafel and roasted cauliflower mezzes, and larger plates of shish tawook and lamb skewers. The dips were fresh and the falafel was well made. The roasted cauliflower was overcooked for my taste, too soft and lacking bite, though my partner enjoyed the texture. The lamb skewers were great quality; however, the sweet potato mash on the side felt out of place and I thought the seasoning of it did not complement the lamb. The shish tawook was decent. The chicken was tender with a nice char without being burnt, but the side potatoes were unremarkable and the harissa mayo was overly mayo-forward. The dish felt a little disjointed. A big positive was how well they catered to gluten intolerance, offering gluten-free pita, and beer, which was great to see. Service was friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed - great space.

C
Conor

The starters were excellent, but the service was lacking. One member of our group waited 15 minutes for their main course, which only arrived after a reminder. The cocktails were served warm, and each course felt rushed, despite it being the final sitting of the evening.

D
David Paterson

Was looking forward to trying here as I normally go by Bib Gourmand restaurant recommendations. But all I can say that this was one of the most generic food restaurants that I have been to. I assume this is not what real Syrian food is like and that this is all adapted to British bland taste with generic ingredients. There are so many more better Bib Gourmand restaurants on London including on the same floor of this place.

e
eva jones

Food was ok, tasty but it gets you full in the first few bites and then try to finish it.Best thing was prob the hummus. Place was clean and not cramped. Bill had 17% service charge but we never even saw the waitress smiling or even pretending that she wants to serve us. I ordered something that was supposed to be a cocktail. A hand sanitiser with color came.It had concentrated alchohol in it and u cant taste anything else than spirit. Nothing to do with cocktail.
