Opinions de Aline Lebanese Kitchen London
The atmosphere and service here was gorgeous but the food was even better. Everything in the second picture is vegan and the bill came to £77 including a beer and non alcoholic drink. Well worth the money and can't believe I haven't been here sooner. The generous staff even gave us baklava on the house.
I've had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious—don't miss out on ordering the fattoush, shish taouk, and falafel. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The staff are kind and friendly, making the atmosphere inviting and enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and excellent service!
Absolutely wonderful Lebanese cuisine in the heart of London. Must try the “Taste of Lebanon” menu for a full experience of what this place can offer. Kudos on the hummus and the lamb skewers—cooked to perfection. Special thanks to Napoleon and Manju for their special attention throughout the dinner.
Very nice place, one of my new favourites for Lebanese in London. Very nice ambience, food was great and so was the service. Tried the labneh, hummus, falafel, zatar bread, fattoush, tabbouleh and pumpkin kibbeh. Everything was great, just pumpkin kibbeh was a bit disappointing. Happy with the vegetarian food here.
Amazing food and impeccable service! I came here for dinner before a show, and had a wonderful time! We had the mixed grill, cauliflower, and fatteh (with aubergine), split between two. As well as a fresh lemonade and a Bellini. Everything we had was delicious and I would absolutely recommend all of these dishes. We didn’t have time for dessert, but they gave us a little complimentary sweet at the end. I didn’t catch the name but I think it was lokum, and like everything else it was lovely! The people working at the restaurant were very friendly and hospitable, frequently refilling water, and clearing dishes as they emptied to give us more space. Including tip, it came to £36 each, which was good value for the quality and the fact that we were in central London
I really enjoyed this restaurant in London! The Lebanese cuisine was absolutely delicious — full of rich flavors and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Manju for the great service — friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommended!
The food is very delicious and the place is small but beautiful and warm. I ordered a delicious Fattoush salad and a wonderful tasting green beans. I also ordered shish tawook with very delicious rice. You have to eat there. There are two employees, one of them is a beautiful and polite Indian woman, and her treatment is elegant and wonderful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I was happy to have lunch in your restaurant.
This is a little gem indeed. We visited for a lovely Friday afternoon lunch with friends, and it was a memorable experience. I am well aquented with Lebanese cuisine and this place is the one to recommend. We really enjoyed the ambience, the staff and the quality of the meal. The person in charge was very friendly and accommodating, but nothing was too much trouble. Menus are simple, and quality over quantity of dishes is clearly their vision. We will definitely return. Thanks
This was one of the best if not the best Lebanese restaurant I’ve been to … and I have tried many around the world. The food was great.. the hummus was just tasty🤤 and the dessert especially the mouhalabiya was out of this world !! A special thanks to the manager and staff for their attention especially with kids. And a special mention for the decor and nice music 👍🏼👍🏼👌🏼
Absolutely fantastic restaurant! We stumbled upon this hidden gem in central London and it’s so low key yet amazing! Food was absolutely fresh, delicious, served quick and piping hot. Wait staff were attentive and super kind. Our waiter, Napoleon, was particularly superb. I would return over and over again as this restaurant was surprisingly awesome.
Lovely restaurant with nice atmosphere. The staff were attentive and quick. They have a nice menue. We ordered fattoush salad hummus and kafta grill platter, all were delicious. However if i may give one critique i would say that the salad that comes with kafta platter could be much improved.
We had a great dinner here. The welcome was warm and the whole place had a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The food was excellent + I’d definitely recommend the hummus, moussaka, halloumi, king prawns, and the pumpkin kibbeh. Everything came out quickly and was full of flavour. Even with a full house, our waiter (Ali) handled the whole room on his own and still managed to be thoughtful and attentive. Really solid service. A very good experience overall, and worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Lovely cosy restaurant just round the corner from the bustle of Oxford Street. Delicious food and excellent service. Menu clearly labelled to assist those looking for vegan and gf potions, and staff ready to help if unsure.
Went for a meal here and loved the food. Service was quick and welcoming. Amazing value. We ordered 10 meze dishes as a table of 5 and felt that there was plenty of food. The baba ganoush was standout for us!
Dined her last night and the food and service were brilliant! Staff took time to answer questions, as well adapt dishes to cater for intolerances. Very impressive menu choices for anyone who is vegan, gluten or dairy free and great value for money. I will defintely visit again, thank you team Aline.
The service and food at Aline and Toum was so positive! Toum was fully booked so our hostess was kind enough to find us a table at Aline and she was super helpful. We loved the food and ambience and would definitely go again to either of these restaurants.
We stopped by this Lebanese restaurant during lunchtime without a reservation while it was pouring rain and we had our luggage with us - and they welcomed us warmly. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hummus with meat was the best I’ve had in London, and the coffee and baklava were fantastic. The place is also very clean. Highly recommended.
Truly delicious meal, well prepared and served. The staff were friendly and helpful and their adve was much appreciated. We would definitely visit again.
The food here was absolutely amazing – fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The whole dining experience was smooth and enjoyable, and the place itself is clean and welcoming. Special shoutout to swati who was incredibly kind and friendly her great attitude really made a difference. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this spot!
Delicious Lebanese food and great service. Nice atmosphere for all kinds of occasions. It's a small restaurant so definitely book before you go, unless it’s just one person or takeaways, it got full quickly as soon as I sat down! Fatouch was great Hummes as well. Reasonably priced.
The food is delicious but the Lebanese coffee is absolute perfection. Try it with baklava on the side.
Absolutely delicious!! We ordered the tasting menu with the chicken and lamb kebabs, the seasonal (mango) Bellini, and a white wine. All were exceptionally delicious!!! My favorite restaurant I visited during my stay in London!
The food is sooo good made me forgot that I am on mounjaro i swallowed the whole meat like if I was breaking my fasting in ramadan AMEN TO THAT PUUUUUUUR 🫦✨️
Very nice restaurant with very good food. Excellent service and recommendations for the menu. We had the babakanoosh which was excellent - pumpkin balls and the mixed grill. All of the meats super tender and tasty. Highly recommend this place for the food, service and atmosphere.
Popped in late afternoon after hunting the local area for a place to eat. So pleased we did. Had a couple of Lebanese beers, very refreshing after a long day. Then we had a selection of breads and other small dishes, and all were very good. Lovely decor, very friendly staff, prices reasonable. Would highly recommend, and would love to return.
Everything was absolutely delicious!!! Tabouleh, hummus, mix grill. Authentic and worth it
Had a delicious evening meal here with friends. Anouka (hope spelling is correct) was an awesome and kind waiter. Dishes were delicious and arrived in good time!
Lovely Lebanese restaurant just a few minutes walk from Carnaby Street and Regent Street. This was our first time at a Lebanese restaurant, the lady who served us put us completely at our ease and advised on what we should order. She suggested four Mezze and one Grill between the four of us and it was spot on. The food was delicious and the atmosphere just right.
Excellent Lebanese restaurant! Food was incredibly good, fresh and portions large. Staff is incredibly service minded and interior so warm and cosy. Will definitely come again.
Great place! I've been there twice, I really like the food and both times the service has been extraordinarily friendly, almost too friendly 😬
The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic Lebanese flavors. The staff were very kind and always helpful. A great experience. Highly recommended!
The food here is unreal, very flavour rich. Service from start to finish was great, Hussein was so welcoming and attentive throughout the evening. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and have not been disappointed.
Interesting and well cooked food at Aline yesterday. The staff were welcoming and attentive and servings - we had mezze - very generous. We loved the roast cauliflower and stuffed vine leaves. It was a pity that speciality bread wasn't available yesterday. We'll come back when it is!
Best Lebanese food in London. Thoroughly enjoyed every dish we ordered, the staff are friendly and the service was very quick. Will definitely be returning.
The restaurant is quite good. As someone with high standards, I’d rate it a 7/10 overall Fattah: 6/10 The use of canned hummus took away from the authenticity of the dish Vine Leaves: 7/10 Also canned, which affected the texture and taste. Grilled Chicken: 8/10Well-seasoned and cooked nicely, but not outstanding. Tabbouleh: 9/ 10 Easily the highlight of the meal—fresh, vibrant, and well-balanced.
Delicious food! We ordered a handful of dishes, the moussaka and the falafel were our favourites. We would definitely visit again. The only reason we didn't give 5* was that, twice, we were informed that dishes marked as vegan on the menu weren't in fact vegan. It only came up in conversation because I asked what the bread of the day was and was told it had yoghurt on it. Please make sure that your menus reflect any recipe changes when you're labelling for dietary requirements!
A cute restaurant with really good vibe, The tabbouleh and the raki drink were really good. The kibbeh would have been better with some labneh or something similar. If you like to visit with a small group or large, I definitely recommend to reserve from before.
Being Lebanese, I was so happy with the food here as it’s truly authentic. I didn’t even have a chance to take nice enough pictures because we dug into the food so quickly! The place was small but had a very nice ambiance. From the lighting to the Lebanese touches all around, I loved it all. The only thing I would have to add is that the service was slow. There were only 2 servers at a very busy time of the night so I think that was an error on their part, we waited quite a while for the food to arrive and they arrived at very different times.
It’s a great restaurant and genuine Lebanese for the most part. But for example Batata Hara had no flavor at all. The staff were not really familiar with Lebanese food that was not in the menu.
We enjoyed a simple authentic Lebanese meal, beautifully cooked, presented and served. We ate from the set menu, which was more than my wife could manage. We would gladly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a middle eastern experience.
The food at the restaurant is fairly consistent. It has remained so over visits between June 2023 and May 2024. So much so that it is hard to tell the difference between pictures taken here a year ago and now, except that in the most recent visit the food was rested on uncut salad leaves instead of directly on the plate. The leaves were meant for show and not as an addition in any way to the food. The highlight is the ever so slightly pickled peppers that add that zingy flavour to the dishes. The spicy humus is called that because it is topped with these peppers. There was generous use of them in the patata bravas as well. The pita with the zatar is so so. While it is served warm the zatar mix itself lacked a 'je ne sais quoi'. The service was a little condescending, perhaps because most of the footfall at this place looks less touristy. Although the conversations around the room, which can be heard quite clearly, suggest that this is a place where people catch up to explore working together. All in all, while the place does have options of vegetarian finger food, it feels too formal.
I don’t have high expectations on this restaurant although we have booked this place in advance for such a long time and would like to try out Lebanese cuisine. The lamb chop was nice and others were mostly various type of dips. The highlight of the restaurant is all about its self made ice cream. It gave a sweet surprise but my friend was complaining about the coffee. The food is slightly priced due to the restaurant’s location.
The salad is very sour, very unpalatable. The taste is basically a mixture of coriander, carrot and vanilla, and then it is very, very sour, so that I start to have toothache. Kibbeh is ok, it's minced meat in croquettes. Delicious, but too little. The main course of roast mutton is tender and delicious with rice, but the sauce seems to be yogurt, which is not delicious. Waiters are inefficient, and they have to wait a long time to order or add water. Generally speaking, this restaurant tastes authentic, but I'm not used to it.
