I have been coming here for years now. And every single time it is fantastic! The service is quick, the food is always hot and ready, and it's such a great experience. Recently, the service has gotten even better! Definitely recommend this location. The only downside is the often sticky floor. But, it's not horrible. My kiddos love it and they enjoy the food there.

I came at an an off peak time, where you might expect to get some food that's not quite right. This food was fresh and the flavor was out- standing. The staff was friendly and professional as well. Definitely recommend stopping by here for a quick chicken fix.

The food was good. The establishment was very clean. Our favorite was the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate dessert.

One day I was running an errand for my daughter and she was about to go to lunch. So she suggested "Slim Chickens!". I replied, "Slim Chickens" what do they serve besides chicken? She said, "you have to taste it!" I think they're kinda expensive for lunch (not use to paying over $6 for fast food). But for a sit down restaurant different story. (No point intented!) we ordered and as the food came, I said to her " this is too much!" I took the first bite and I tell youuuu!. . . This is one of the best chicken restaurants I've ever tasted! I use to pass another location up as they were building it. Didn't know about the Kingwood location. As I passed it up on numerous occasions, often wondered how their food taste? And now I know.

It's a first for everything and it was delicious. The young man at the counter was very nice.

I had a small issue with my order, but the manager, Dre, handled it so kindly and professionally. He offered to remake it right away, greeted me with a smile when I arrived, and made sure everything was perfect before I left. I really appreciate how he went above and beyond. I’m the customer that called in on the night of 9/16/2025 thank you, Dre!

The food and the service were both good. I had some buff and ranch but in all honesty, the tenders didn't really need em. They tasted great with and without .The toast was so buttery too, I couldn't put it down. I ate outside as it wasn't too hot and I really enjoyed my meal. I think I'll try the wings next time!

At this point I don’t even go to Raising Canes anymore because Slim Chicken has a variety and their tenders are seasoned and can come with a sauce. The only thing I really don’t like is the toast, it’s pretty mid. Also the customer service is always nice. Joshua was very nice and patient and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving. Also their dessert cheesecake jars are VERY GOOD!

Great place for a family meal. I got the Classic meal with the Cayenne Ranch dip. Korean BBQ dip is good too! They have many flavors of tea to choose from. I got raspberry it’s not too sweet.

The staff is super friendly, kind and helpful. Made our experience that much better. Now the food...absolutely amazing!!! Leave room for desert. We tried the banana pudding, came back for the chocolate fudge brownie and strawberry cheesecake! My goodness, we loved it!!!! Thanks to the staff there today (Saturday evening) we were able to try new dipping sauce and now we're hooked. Will definitely be back.

The food is great and the workers are doing their best, but it seems a little understaffed here. They only have one guy to work the register, run food, and work the floor 3 days before christmas, while everyone’s here from out of town. He’s doing his best, but definitely needs some help. Everyone here seems worn out and tired, attitude and atmosphere are taking a hit here.

I love their buffalo sauce! It's the "Real Deal" in true buffalo wing flavor. But we had to ask for things several times, and food promised was not quite to satisfaction.

This chicken only place gives Cane's a run for its money. There are more options on the menu than at Cane's. You are not limited to two choices, a sandwich or strips. They have other chicken options such as wraps, buffalo wings, and chicken waffles. It is a great option for lunch or dinner.

It's a good place it's very neat and clean. They have happy hour specials on their food during the week. They offer salads unlike Cane's.

Went to this place for the first time last month, and decided to give it another try this past week. Same issue both times: cold wings and a wasp infestation outside. Not really sure why the wings come out cold (well luke warm I should say) but they still have good flavor. Great dipping sauce selection, too! We’ve tried different dipping sauces each time and have been happy. And we love the fries! Employees have been nice, which make for an enjoyable experience. At least give this place a try!

I have been here before, but got the regular tender basket and this time I got the Buffalo wrap. I thought the Buffalo sauce wasn’t going to be too overwhelming as in overpowering, but it was. The wrap was a 7/10. I do love the fries.

Warning: the food is normally great, but the time it takes to make it, is shockingly bad. This place definitely isn't fast food. It is delicious, but sometimes I ask myself if the 30 min wait is worth it. 😶 How does it take this long to make food???

I like some of this food. Not the tenders, but sides and other meals are nice. Love the macncheeze. They screw up orders sometimes. Overall, if they got it together and fixed the tenders, it would probably be great. It's just ok. Go to canes for tenders.

Personally I didn't see what was the big deal about this place, I've always heard it was the best chicken in town but I beg to differ. It was good but not to my expectations.

The foods pretty good its just something about the service. I'd give them 4 but they've messed up my order a couple times already. I pretty much just love the abuse and spicy bbq sauce.

Honestly When I came here I expected just some plain chicken like Canes, but it actually had some wings. So I order the wings, 6 lemon pepper wings with some garlic parmesan sauce. I took a bite and right away I knew I made a mistake coming there. It tasted so bad, the only reason I’m not giving this place a one star is because the cheese cake jars were actually decent. This could be just my opinion on the food but still could be better.

Food was okay, I got the seven tender combo. The tenders were tough honestly. They said the slim sauce or slim chicken sauce whatever the house sauce is, is their version of canes sauce. That was mid. I have heard slim chickens is good, maybe it's just this location.

Food was not good. The fried food we ordered was all cold and seemed like it had been sitting awhile before we got it. Below average fast food joint will not return.

Food just not worth the price.. bad sweet tea, the tenders just don't have a great flavor and were too brown/overcooked.. and the fries were super salty..

After waiting 25 minutes for them to bring out my food (3 orders nothing crazy) the food is cold. The people in back are arguing with each other, I don’t even want to ask them for the dipping sauce I asked for because I am just ready to get out of this place.

I'm not at all happy with that visit. The wait was quiet, long for food. After waiting, our food was taken to the wrong table, then back to the window before being taken to our table. Once it arrived at the table, the order was wrong. They sauced the tenders but not the wings. The cashier was very friendly but the kitchen staff needs more training on qc. Also they're should have a better system for delivering food to tables. You're given numbers. This shouldn't happen. The price paid was not worth the food specifically since they didn't even sauce the wings.

Well this is disappointing. I didn't get a kids meal and the fries look so bad. Should have made the extra mins to Raising Cain's that's what I get for being lazy. Never again for sure.

I know we are going through a recession, but come on the size of chicken I received in my burger was ridiculous. Mind you the camera adds 10lbs. 😆 Fries were mediocre at best. Very disappointed, we tried to go for early dinner with the family and we sat at the window for over 5 minutes and never got greeted. Proceeded to go to window as there was a person taking to the drive through person. Where is the managers at???

Ate here for the first time not good my food was not seasoned. Food didn't taste good at all this place is just a knock off of raising canes. Also got sick eating the potato chips i got with my meal

When the manager came, he was very rude and was annoyed. I waited for 30+ minutes for a refund because he didn't know how to do it.

I normally don't write reviews on places I go even if rhe the services is mediocre or poor. But the experience we had a Slim Chickens was subpar to say the least. Regarding food, it is acceptable. Nothing extraordinary or remarkable. All food asked was okay. Which surprises me that it took 30 minutes for my kids to get their Mac and cheese kids meal. You could say that it was the lack of food and they needed to cook it but people that came after us had their food on time. When we complained about this, we noticed that one of the cooks did not have a net on his hair. When we went to grab put drinks, the ice had some "strange items" that was nit ice. We did not mention this because when we mentioned the lack of sweet tea, the unsweetened tea was old and bitter, and the missing of lemonade they only said that they needed to make some more lemonade. After an hour sitting, the lemonade was still not made. Finally atmosphere, the bathrooms were unclean, the hot water is scolding (which makes me think that employees are not washing there hands with that water), and the floors were sticky. I am very disappointed with Slim Chickens as a whole and this will be the last time me and my family will be eating here.

Let me start off with saying that I have always enjoy slim chickens but my experience the other night is horrible. 1. Had 2 big posters on the drive thru saying the max bowls are back so I order it and they say they no longer makes them. I asked why is that sign up if it’s no longer available and said something about corporate not allowing them to make them anymore. 2. When I get to the window they tell me no sweat tea available, I asked for peach tea instead. 3. Then they said they have no ice so had to get my drink warm with no ice, they said it was because they had no water pressure in the building.. makes me wonder how they were cleaning the equipment with no water pressure. 4. When I got home half the fries were still raw. And see the pics. They did give me a free brownie but horrible experience

Over an hour and twenty minutes waiting for FRIED CHICKEN. ridiculous. Getting uber eats to cancel an order is impossible and had to wait almost an hour and a half for FRIED CHICKEN that was never going to be ready. We were really excited to try this place and now we will NEVER order here again. Lost what could’ve been a loyal customer.

Yikes.. this used to be our go to place on Friday nights but tonight has changed that. Incomplete orders, waiting on food, never received our Mac and cheese had to ask for our orders. We just left eventually. Food was cold. Some workers are trying their best, others are new or clueless. Owners and management need to get this location together fast or it's not going to last. Probably won't be back for awhile.

Came here for the first time and received overcooked, oversalted, and dry chicken with an unimpressive amount of fries. A Slim Chickens team member reached out to speak about the experience and very generously offered to remake the order. When I came to receive the new order, I waited over 50 minutes even after a team member told me my food would be ready shortly. When another team member asked if I needed help, I had to remind them I was getting a remake as well as remind them of what the order consisted of. I find it particularly disappointing that this lack of attention is what Slim Chickens considers an attempt to correct a mistake. The remade food was fresh, moist, and how you would expect a typical order, however I am not sure if I will revisit this location.

Just left the place roughly 10 minutes ago as I’m eating i spot a piece of hair in my food, Not just a little Peace but a long piece I will never return back to this place again zero out of 10 the mac & cheese is also watery I’m in disbelief

This location advertises they close at 10 p.m., but they might as well close at 9. I arrived around 9:20 planning to eat in, but was told there wouldn’t be enough time and they packed my food to go. The order was poorly prepared, and I ended up throwing it away—a complete waste of money and time. There are several other places in the area for wings, and based on this experience, I’d recommend trying one of them instead.

Horrible chicken sandwiches, I have gotten tenders here before but we decided to try the chicken sandwich omg what a fail! Nasty flat hard microwaved chicken patty. Gross! This is a chicken restaurant and they don’t have a good sandwich! Never again.
