Opinions de Bella Italia Lampasas
Everything here was wonderful! The food was delicious and made quickly. The bread that they bring out is fresh and tasty. Pricing is pretty low considering the amazing quality of the food
We had dinner here 03/05/26 and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The meals were delicious- shrimp/scallops Alfredo, chicken Alfredo, and the Salmon priccata,.. our waitress Kenzie was really attentive, always smiling, made us feel at home. The atmosphere is very pleasant.. Thanks again Kenzie and Bella Italia for a great experience.
Absolutely fantastic. My boyfriend and I went and had an amazing time. Everything we tried was delicious and the food came out fast. We hope to come back when we’re in the area again!!
We had a lovely experience at Bella Italia. The food was delicious. They feature an expansive menu with many classic Italian favorites. The staff was kind and friendly, and the restaurant had a warm, homey atmosphere. We'll be back the next time we pass through Lampasas.
Excellent food.. could feel it was made fresh.. and had a inviting burst of flavor in every bite. Every one i interacted with right from the person taking the order to the folks who carried the order from the kitchen, to the one delivering it, made the experience worthwhile. Bella Italia at Lampasas.. we were only driving by and were so glad to get food here... a lot vegetarian options too. It was a late monday afternoon and we saw a lot of locals in the restaurant.. we know we will be visiting here any time visit the area.
Friendly and helpful staff, Patti is wonderful. The fresh bread is hot out of the oven. The garden salad is crisp, fresh and fantastic with the homemade Italian dressing. The minestrone soup has a wonderful depth of flavor with all the things you're expecting from minestrone soup. The pasta trio has amazing flavors. The Alfredo sauce is thick and sticks to the noodles. The chicken parmessan has a nice breading with nice amount of sauce. The lasagna has great flavor. The portions are large enough to share. Absolutely recommend! I will be back!!
Cute restaurant in town. Decided to stop for lunch on a road trip and was pleasantly surprised. The place has a nicely varied menu. What really blew me away was the staff. Very friendly, intuitive, and prompt. It got a bit busy as we came in, at least for there being only two servers, but that did not at all get in tge way of the service we received.
We went here after Scout Sunday at church. The food was great. Staff very friendly and working hard to make everyone happy. We will be going back. We were ALL very happy with this little neighborhood restaurant . I had the Chicken .Marsala with fettuccine noodles. Delicious Parking is a little tight, they need more handicap spaces.
First of all, excellent service!! Our waitress was friendly from the minute we walked in. 2nd, the food was AMAZING!! It was very flavorful, and each plate was enough to feed at least 2 people!! Definitely give them a try when you’re in town! The Shrimp Florentine (not pictured) was the best thing I have tried in a long time!
Visiting the area from TN, my friend and I were driving from Waco back to Marble Falls and decided to give this place a try. From pulling into the parking lot with the pretty trees, to the welcoming staff and relaxing music…that was just a start for a wonderful dining experience. Rolls are brought to your table with your drinks…and keep coming as your basket empties. I recommend asking for the garlic and olive oil for dipping. I ordered the Bella Italia Chicken and can’t recommend it enough! I’ve never had a dish like it- loved the lemon flavor. Our waiter, Valmer, was authentic and attentive. This affordable place is worth the high ratings!
Great soups! Wonderful French fries & cheese sticks. Great lunch. Open Mondays too. Garlic bread with garlic infused olive oil. Yum. Good service and fun music. We stoped on our way home from the Hill Country. Bella Italia has a lot to offer. Next time we will save room for dessert!
Best Italian food in Texas! We ordered a seafood entree and a pasta dish - both were top notch! Choice of salad or soup was included. The chicken soup was loaded with rich broth, white chunks of chicken and fresh vegetables - excellent!!! The homemade bread was fresh and hot. The service was quick. The Alfredo sauce was elegant and rich. Seafood was cooked to perfection. It's worth the hour drive from Waco!!!
This is a BYOB restaurant. I wish I had known that before we went. So, for those of you who are like me and like a nice glass of vino with your Italian dish, bring your own. They don't charge a corking fee. It was our first time visiting and everything was excellent. I ordered the lobster ravioli and my husband ordered the fettuccine carbonara. Both delicious 😋
We really enjoyed our lunches at Bella Italia. First, they come out with these garlic bread rolls, which were hot, fresh, and wonderful. Then, they came out with the salad, which was fresh and delicious. And then came the entrees. My meat stromboli was hot, fresh, and delicious. Plus, if you come on weekdays at lunch, they have lunch specials. We would definitely come back here the next time we are in town.
The facility is nice and clean, the wait staff was very friendly, and the food was great and portioned well. I had ravioli with lobster sauce, my girlfriend had shrimp scampi, and we shared a calamari appetizer. The bread was delicious as well. Will be going back as soon as we have the chance
Wow! We went with a party of four mid afternoon all different dishes. The pasta is home made to begin with and cooked to perfection. I had eggplant, again perfectly cooked with others having shrimp and another two Chicken Fettuccine. There wasn't a crumb left on any of our places. Great service, great owners and definitely hats off to the chef!! Can't wait to travel through again.
A wonderful surprise in Lampasas. The quality (and quantity!) of food here was impressive, mostly. At our table, we had: The pizza, which was obviously handmade with an excellent sauce. The spaghetti trio, which was really done well. Meat sauce doesn't seem that difficult, but the rich taste of authentic, more tomatoe-y than sugary and greasy (as many Italian restaurants do) was very willing done. We also had the Bella Chicken, but the review on that was not good. The chicken was chewy and the sauce was leaning too much toward Alfredo and too far away from lemon-butter. The service was attentive and the setting was nice. On top of this, the price was very fair for what we got. Definitely a go-to for the area.
Haven't been here in well over a year and decided we'd pop in and see how things were. The food isn't bad...but, at least tonight, it wasn't anything that made it really memorable. The calamari was fresh and tasty. Not chewy and old. The garlic knots were amazing (thus the reason there's only 2 in the photo and not the 4 we were served). Unfortunately the main courses were just okay. My sausage and peppers were very sweet and kind of salty. I think that the sausage was sweet and the bell peppers, which were fresh and crisp, were sweet. Then the sauce was sweet. Just overall too much sweetness for me. The Veal Parmigian was okay. Not enough sauce to make up for the dry breading. Finally, I know the restaurant is always struggling to find help so it was nice to see 2 waitresses. Ours was pleasant and polite. We were her only table and she took good care of us. I wish she had removed dirty dishes as the meal went along. Our salad plates, appetizer plate, and empty drink bottles all piled up on the edge of the table. The portions were really good sized and we took home leftovers. We'll go back and try again. I hear the pizza is amazing.
Bella Italia: A Lesson in Missed Opportunities In the mood for a cozy Italian evening, my husband and I set out with high hopes, our appetites leading the way. After weighing our options between Olive Garden and Bella Italia, I chose the latter, charmed by its quaint, inviting exterior that whispered promises of authentic comfort. The welcome was warm enough — our waitress had a sweet demeanor — but she seemed unfamiliar with the menu, which hinted at a lack of polish. We began with a tomato caprese salad, a dish that should sing with freshness and balance. Instead, it arrived timid and lifeless, in desperate need of the balsamic kick we had to request. The soups followed, one lukewarm, the other scalding, as if the kitchen had confused “temperature contrast” with “culinary creativity.” Then came the mains, where I anticipated redemption. I ordered the Bella Italia chicken dinner — the supposed crown jewel of the menu — but was met with a dry, overcooked bird drowning in a tsunami of lemon. Two bites in, I surrendered my fork. My husband’s chicken Parmesan fared no better: the meat was tough and unyielding, more work than pleasure. What lingered more than the disappointing flavors was the silence — our server never inquired about our entrées, as if the absence of commentary might mask our dissatisfaction. The final bill, $70, was made even more sour by a curious charge: we’d been told there’d be an “upcharge” for swapping soups, yet found ourselves billed for two full bowls at $6.99 apiece — a clever rebranding of the word upgrade. We left Bella Italia not with the warmth of Italian hospitality, but with the lingering taste of missed opportunity. A change in care, both in the kitchen and in service, could turn this charming space into the haven it promises to be. Until then, consider yourself warned: not all that glitters in the glow of an Italian evening is gold.
The Fagioli soup taste like beans pretty much, a bit watered down unfortunately. I don’t recommend the soups. With the price at $7.99 I expected better quality for the price. Possibly cheese or anything to help with the lack of flavor would be nice. I recommend more vegetables, the correct noodles, it’s supposed to be a tomato based soup, should not taste 80% like bean. Hoping today was an off day. Sadly, this is my first experience. (Bread had little to no flavor- salt, just saying, butter and salt is all that’s needed) Just ate the Alfredo- so I’ll say that it’s much to oily, the sauce taste like milk, not a savory parmesan cheese taste like you’d expect. I like cream, but it should not taste like milk. Chicken was not bad, it was just “Ok”. It’s a couple min or so over cooked, on the dryer side, good “initial” flavor; needing more of the seasoning- just a little under seasoned, but had the best “flavor”- just needed more, and timing needs adjusted. I’d rather wait and eat a correctly cooked pice of juicy chicken than get it a few min quicker- and not want to eat it: Hoping it’s just a new cook tonight, will try again in the future hoping to update this review. Will get the same items.
