We tried Panas for the first time and it was so nice. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Very thick fresh mango lassis, complimentary papadums, paneer and lamb dishes. Service was attentive and delicate. Portions were decent. We might try the lunch buffet next time. Highly recommended.

Just incredible. Never have I felt so honoured to eat in a restaurant. Sujan the owner will rightly be honoured. He is as inspirational as the Panas food is delicious and the service impeccable. You get what you give in life. Give them your custom and be amazed.

We had such a fantastic Indian buffet lunch for my husband’s birthday. All the staffs looked after us so well and meal tasted fabulous! We will come back.

Had an absolutely lovely time here with my sister. The service was wonderful (Monica was really helpful and friendly) and all the staff were great we even met the owner who told us all about the wonderful charity work they do. We had the momo, drunken prawn and mums chicken curry. I can’t recommend this place enough. The setting is gorgeous with high ceilings and comfortable seating.

Excellent food and great service, you can have mild or spicy choices. We had mango lassi, papadom, Naan and 2 course menu for 2 to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we really enjoyed it. It was quiet but it was a Thursday lunch. Just Delicious!

Excellent and tasty food. Not the standard British Indian restaurant. Everything a level above. I had the Nepalese Momo, a lamb curry. My son had the chicken korma. Because he was worried about spice. Both delicious. We also had the Nepalese dumplings, which looked like Chinese bao, but with a spicy flair. Great food, though a bit pricy for our usual budget. Well worth it for a special night out.

Amazing new Nepalese restaurant in Blackheath. The food is fresh, delicious and very special. I got mama’s chicken, which was very unique and spicy. The place is very upmarket, and the service is superb. Thank you very much, we’ll be regulars!

A wonderful evening celebrating a birthday. The ambience, the service, the food and the whole experience was excellent. A lovely restaurant, a great location, staff who cannot do enough to make sure you are looked after and just a lovely evening overall. Would definitely recommend.

The highlight of this place is the owner and his team, ofcourse after the tasty food. The team here is lucky to have such energetic owner and the owner is blessed to have such active and smart team in the kitchen and in the service . You have to be here to learn a masterclass in hospitality .

Had a lovely breakfast at Panas this morning. Delicious omelette, the chole, paratha etc. Panas is new to this building but not to the local area. It is a very welcome addition. Very tasty and authentic. Now that I’ve had a taster I can’t wait to visit for dinner!!

We heard so much about this restaurant that we had to come here, see the decoration, feel the atmosphere and taste the food... We are so pleased with our experience... Thank God that it's our local restaurant...

Amazing morning sampling the new breakfast tasting menu at Panas Blackheath, ready for the grand opening next week. The food, the atmosphere, and the staff are next level. Cannot recommend highly enough! Absolute must try to support this local business in its new venture!!

I absolutely love the quality and variety of food at Panas. The menu offers a very good selection of starters and mains. I enjoyed poppadum served with flavourful sauces, vegetable momo, and a rich, aromatic lamb bhutuwa paired with pilau rice. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The staff were warm and attentive. I visited their old premises in Blackheath and am looking forward to checking out their new location.

Great tasting Nepalese food. All the dishes had plenty of flavour. The perfect portion size and the food was delivered with great presentation. The service was friendly, polite and accommodating. The evening was nicely paced, we didn’t feel rushed and the time between courses was perfect. A few complimentary dishes delivered by the owner as we were celebrating a birthday. Thank you for a lovely meal. Highly recommend for dinner when Blackheath.

An amazing brunch option with beautiful food (lots) and unlimited alcohol. The service is amazing and accommodating. Takeaway is also great. The chicken tikka masala is out of this world!! Naan is freshly made. I recommend to all!

Wow!! Never imagined that it place would be this happening, a fine dine so conveniently located by SL4 from Canary wharf. A great blend of Nepalese-Indian cuisine. The staff was so humble, caring, and well-mannered. Dishes were served on luxurious cutlery. We went on a Saturday evening and it was at full occupancy. We tried papad, comes with a chutney (10/10), Steamed Momos (8/10), Chicken Biryani (9.5/10), Himalayan Jhimbu chicken (10/10) curry, and Lacchha Paratha. Ambience (10/10). I would highly recommend trying this place. The owner has won some great accolades and given his TED talk too. Can simply say it's a hidden gem.

Lovely food and wonderful customer service! The staff were extremely attentive and gave great recommendations. All the food was 10/10 and some very tasty and unique dishes. Couldn’t recommend more highly! The lamb chops are a must!!!

Amazing new local with international flair! Nepalese cuisine at top level with impeccable service and presentation. The dishes had distinctive spice profiles and this coming from someone with an aversion to ‘chilli’. Warming flavours and textures highly recommend mom’s curry and the breads. Visited Panas Gurkha for breakfast. The place is spacious (huge), and very tastefully done. The staff is very courteous and kind, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. There is a huge variety of breakfast items- and everything we ordered tasted wonderful. The plates and cutlery are all brass-gold, and gave a very clean look. The masala tea was a cherry on the top. We enjoyed our visit- Will visit again.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in Blackheath and the second time I’ve eaten at this wonderful restaurant. It is simply off the scale!! The food is some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve had in the UK, the staff couldn’t be more friendly and the surroundings are warm and welcoming. I’ve tried their Kerala curry last time and ‘Mum’s curry’ (which I asked for Madras hot) this visit, and whilst very different and individual in flavour, I would totally recommend either. Overall a great dining experience!!

What a delightful experience to eat at Panas restaurant this evening. The entire experience was perfect from start to finish. The food is excellent. Unpretentious and full of flavour and depth. The service was exceptional. The waitresses were calm, friendly, polite, and efficient. It was as if the whole restaurant was running like a well-oiled machine. Honestly, some of the best service I’ve ever received in a restaurant. At the end of the evening, the owner showed us out. A modest man despite his very significant achievements. It was so nice to meet someone so sincere and justifiably proud of what he has achieved. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended.

I had my 70th birthday celebration at PANAS and had a fantastic time. The staff were incredibly pleasant and efficient from the time we booked to the time we left having eaten a fantastic meal. There were 16 of us and every single order was delivered correctly and on time. The food was absolutely second to none. Many in the group consider ourselves curry “experts” and we all agreed that the meal was one of the best curries if not the best we had tasted. It was lovely to meet Sujan who came to wish me happy birthday in person. He was excited about going to collect his MBE and I hope he enjoys every moment. Thank you to everyone at PANAS for helping to make my birthday special.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional Food, Hospitality & Heart I visited this restaurant again recently, and it was truly worth the trip — even all the way from Kensington. This was only my second time dining here, but definitely not my last. From the moment I walked in, the hospitality was on another level. The owner himself greeted us, checked on us not once but twice, and even offered complimentary snacks and dessert. His warmth and genuine care made the experience feel personal and unforgettable. And as always, the food was A1 — flavourful, and consistently exceptional. What impressed me even more was learning about their efforts to give back to the community. It’s rare to find a place that not only delivers outstanding food and service but also uses their success to make a positive difference. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for incredible food, heartfelt hospitality, and a business with true values. I’ll absolutely be returning again — it’s worth every mile.

We came here for a birthday celebration, with an age range from 4 years to 71! We arrived at different times (some late for our booking) but were treated so hospitably and flexibly by the wonderful staff. When it came to the food, the standard had not slipped one bit. Scallops, chicken and lamb chops were all excellent. The mains were equally impressive, and both fully flavoured and cleverly spiced. There is a very good wine list, cocktails too! And coffee as good as any of the high street chains. After we'd settled the bill, and our youngest members had left, we were made welcome to enjoy more beverages. It was a very memorable evening for all of us. We have followed Panas inHither Green, Lee, and at their former Blackheath site. This is their best incarnation yet - we shall return!

Absolutely outstanding experience at Panas Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was phenomenal — every dish was packed with rich, authentic flavors and cooked to perfection. The spices were beautifully balanced, and you can truly taste the freshness in every bite. The presentation was also impressive, making the whole dining experience feel extra special. This was our first time at Panas. Exceptional food, wonderful service, and a cozy ambiance — highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Our first visit to Panas and an excellent one it was. The food is cooked with love and kindness as the owner has an abundance that flows into the food. Beetroot BomBom is a spicy, crunchy delightful starter and all the food was full of flavour. The care that went kids Chicken Tikka is a great way of explaining this restaurant. The low level of spice is on the succulent chicken chunks not to shock the kids tastebuds, but they are still favourable. The yoghurt dip has a slight sweetness to it, again to be a joy for little people, and the red "pickled" cabbage is simply colourful and inviting and not pickles at all. A restaurant surrounding to enjoy and the food to love.

Food was good, but didn’t quite hit the wow factor, we had takeaway from here which I would have rated higher. The restaurant itself is nice and staff service was good.

We very much enjoyed our visit to the new site in Blackheath. The drummer was a lovely touch. We weren't massively hungry so we snacked on sides and starters. The prices are on the higher end but the food was good. We spent £127 for two including beers. Favourite was the chana chat. The poppadums were not good value at just shy of £6 for a "basket" of poppadums which appear to hold around 3 poppadums artfully broken into bits to look more voluminous. However the relishes, particularly the pineapple were super tasty. The place was starting to fill up when we left as everyone is clearly keen to check out the new venue. Wishing Panas all the best at the new venue.

We went to get some breakfast at this place.We were welcomed by the owner who told us that he recently opened this restaurant. We had the desi omelette and the paratha. The food was definitely fresh but lacked flavour and seasoning. The side dishes were not matching and we had to ask for salt and pepper which had to be collected from somewhere far as this took some time. The prices for the breakfast menu are rather high for what you actually getting. Over £5 for coffee seems quite over the top. The staff were friendly but not very alert considering that the restaurant was almost empty. We understand that every new business has its teething issues so we'll be back in due time to try the lunch menu.
