Tried Singaporean food here in Chinatown for the first time and it was a really interesting experience. I ordered the laksa, but forgot that I can’t handle spicy food, it was a bit too spicy for me. That said, the flavours were great: a nice mix of curry and coconut milk, and the tofu puffs and fish cake were especially tasty. The coconut shake was also very fragrant and refreshing. Service was great as well, Joao was friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

This Singapore restaurant was excellent. The food was very flavorful. We ordered the whole crab Singapore style and beef rendang. Both dishes were outstanding and very aromatic. Portions were very large. Drinks such as teh tarik and the lychee cocktail were delicious. The flavors were well balanced. The atmosphere was pleasant and inviting. Overall the experience was perfect. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Went here for lunch and really enjoyed the experience. The dishes were flavorful, with the laksa soup standing out as especially delicious. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout the visit. Overall, a great spot for a satisfying meal, definitely recommended.

Had the most Singaporean food in London 😋 the decor is filled with Singapore stuff, makes us feel at home. Tried the Laksa and Beef rendang..super yummy..taste almost similar to what i get back in Singapore 👍 had a little chat withheld Romie who served us. Learnt from her the meanings behind her name tag, which are Singlish terms 🤣 she’s served with a the most bright smile 👏

One of the rare places in Europe, where they do replicate the taste of Singapore. I have visited this restaurant several times throughout my weekend visit, and I enjoyed the food each time. Lunch menu is especially a great value for money option.

Delicious dinner this evening! The char kway teow was incredible as was the laksa and nasi platter. Finished with kaya ice cream and toast sticks. The restaurant was packed but the atmosphere was fun and the service was great. Highly recommend!

Dined here for lunch as there was a long queue for dinner. Had the Singapore noodles and chili crab bao. The noodles were good, but the bao was fantastic. I hadn't been in Singapore for about 15 years but the first bite of the Bao took me directly back there.

Nice ambiance, the restaurant is located next to China Town and showcases authentic Singapore classics (Nasi Lemak, Laksa, Char Kway Teow). The food is really tasty and served on traditional tin plates - bowls, service is swift and attentive. I’ve been there a few times food is always good and consistent.

Tried the £26 set menu at Singapulah in Chinatown and it was very satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, honestly, two people could easily share one set and add another main. I ordered the laksa but forgot that I can’t really handle spicy food, so it was a bit too hot for me. Still, the flavours were really interesting, with a well-balanced mix of curry and coconut milk. The tofu puffs and fish cake were especially fragrant and tasty, soaking up the broth beautifully. The service really elevated the whole experience. Joao was genuinely warm, attentive, and professional. He checked in at just the right moments, made thoughtful recommendations, and handled everything with ease, making the meal feel relaxed and well looked after rather than rushed or overly formal. You could tell he truly cared about the dining experience. Overall, a very enjoyable and satisfying experience, with great food and excellent service to match.

This was my first time trying Singaporean food, and it was absolutely amazing. Everything tasted great, especially the Singapore noodles, which I really loved. The restaurant also kindly gave us a £20 voucher each to use when we spend £50, so I will definitely be coming back next time to use it. Thank you again for the service. It was a great experience.

First time coming here and definitely will return! ✨The staff was very friendly and welcoming, plus the ambiance of the room was nice. Really recommend trying the Chilli crab and beef rendang if people want to do sharing 🌶️ (it really wouldn’t disappoint!). 10/10 experience would definitely come back again.

10/10 no notes. Everything we ate was absolutely superb. Beef rendang was marked as spicy, but was surprised to find it wasn’t very spicy and super tasty. We ordered prawns and for the price and the average of London I expected to receive 3-4 and there was SO MANY. Such good value overall. Staff is extremely nice, place is busy but well run, they are very dog friendly and made our puppies feel welcome.

Came for the last night of lunar new year and ordered the New Year Salad Yu Sheng which was very generous in portion and a great mix of ingredients. One of the best we have had I think! Food was decent - much better than the last time I came. We had a proper dinner of dishes with rice to share. Cereal prawns (yum), aubergine (yum), kang kung veg (needed more paste for more taste), tofu (yum), the special new year chicken (yum), fine green beans (yum), and char kway teow (not bad). Desserts - aiskachung (not bad), durian ice cream (strong flavour), kueh salot (nah). Service was great with Rahul and the manager from Taiwan.

Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I loved the brand look & feel, not a fan of the location as it’s very crowded, but the restaurant looks super cool. Service was 11/10, teams super nice and attentive. The food was delicious, I mean wow. Was not expecting these fragrant bold flavours, I would go there again now! Highly recommend it, even better in group to taste everything on the menu

Great Singaporean laksa with delicious broth with rich coconut and dried shrimps favour. The noodle is bee tai mak which is unique and easy to eat with soup with a spoon. The lucky draw is a surprise as I m dining alone without spending over £30 (the spending required for entering the lucky draw).

Delicious food. Had Nasi Singapulah and it was an amazing overview of Singaporean food. Staff were really friendly, hospitable and were doing their best. They bought a lottery wheel out in the end and made it fun, which I loved. However, they appeared to be a bit understaffed. Good ambience.

Singaporean Malay food at its finest. Everything we ordered was incredible. Chilli bao buns fluffy on the inside with crab meat in the middle then fried. The sambal prawns was another stand out for me. Nasi lembak was a classic that had to be order. Worth the visit, we will be back.

Visited as we had a voucher from visiting Rasa Sayang. Got brought straight to Singapore with the details of the interior design and the playlist. I waited in trepidation that the food would not be up my Singaporean alley but was proven very wrong. Laksa was largely authentic apart from the use of mee tai mak and that there no cockles. Otherwise broth was seasoned well and had the umami of the dried shrimps with a generous amount of shrimps and tau geh (Hokkien dialect for beansprouts). The Nasi Singapulah was great value for money for the variety of dishes all done to near perfection. The fried chicken was flawless with the spice mix and the lemongrass strands and curry leaves that were deep fried to a fragrance that brought me thousands of miles back home. Kudos for the effort to share Singapore to diners. Some diners not used to spiciness might want to be more cautious and choose dishes without chillies. It’s a place where mum would definitely approve. I do with 2 thumbs up too. They provide vouchers to customers to try othr outlets too so do grab them and share! Don’t say bojio (our Singlish slang for, “don’t blame us for not inviting!”)

Singapulah does something a lot of places try and very few actually pull off. The food was nice. I ordered the Nasi Singapulah and it was pretty decent, satisfying, comforting, and exactly what I hoped for. But here’s the thing, the food wasn’t the part that stayed with me the most. What really stood out was the branding and visual identity. Every small detail feels considered. The tissue packaging, the plates and bowls, even the way some of those elements are repurposed into lighting. Nothing feels accidental. It all works together to create a clear, confident aesthetic. What this really means is that eating there feels like more than just a meal. The space makes you feel like you’re stepping into a carefully framed slice of Singaporean culture. Not in a forced or themed way, but in a quiet, thoughtful one.

Absolutely loved our meal here, the Singapore chilli crab was incredible. The crab was huge, fresh, and full of flavour, and the sauce was perfect with the fried mantou. Portions were generous and definitely worth the price. Special thanks to Joao for the amazing service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were well looked after throughout the meal, even though the restaurant was very busy. He really added to the whole experience. Great food, great value, and excellent service. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We came straight at 12 for lunch and it was the most wonderful dining experience we've had in a long time. The interior is beautiful, the staff is attentive and the food is simply delicious. As vegetarians we had plenty of options to choose from. The home made tofu with mushrooms was our favourite 🍄‍🟫❤️ The flavours in every dish are outstanding and detectable. I'm very grateful I got experience an afternoon of the little red dot right here in London. Thank you team Singapulah! 🇸🇬

Their service is really good and food was served quick! I like the ambience here too as it’s cozy. It was our first time here and Yeshani and Romie were really helpful with us navigating the menu, explaining what our choices were and what better options would fit us. :) Laksa 10/10 Coconut shake: if you are Asian AND FILIPINO, this one just taste like the ones we make at home yalll!!!! Durian Ice cream: 10/10, my Portuguese friend loved it as it was subtle, but also worked for a Davaoeña like me who is craving for some durian delicancu in this first world country. Hahaha Will definitely be coming back! The rest of the food, 10/10!

A fantastic, dog-friendly, hawker-inspired Singaporean restaurant serving generous portions and an extensive menu filled with hometown favourites. The beef rendang is impressively portioned (had to tapau🤣) and packed with flavour, while the chicken satay instantly brings back memories of hawker satay sticks ordered by the dozen. For dessert, the sea salt gula melaka ice cream, kueh salat, and kaya ice cream toast sticks were all delightful and well worth saving room for. There are still so many dishes I want to try, which means I’ll definitely be back.

A home away from home. If you are looking for authentic Singaporean food but on an elevated scale, then come here lah! Die Die Must Try Bak Chor Mee (BCM) Al-dante noodles with right balance of vinegar and spice with fired pork lad generously coating them all over. The 2 pieces of aburi pork was soft and the 70% fat did its job in melting in your mouth. Mushrooms were nice and plump. Now the fish ball is a no-no. It’s dry and yet porous. There is no q-q texture to it making it stale. Crab Meat Bun This fried Mantou is sweet and savory. The hot bun opens up to a delightful mixture of chili crab dip. Not sure if there’s any crab inside (like the menu) but it tastes so good.

Yummiest food, lovely staff and beautiful interiors. We only had a small lunch, but loved our deep fried crab baos and truffle mushroom open dumplings. Can’t wait to go again. All the food on the other tables looked delicious.

This place is a home run. Service, on point. Servers, all knowledgable, friendly and warm. The food, 100/10. Atmosphere, amazing. Restaurant, top notch. You literally leave the hectic streets of the West End to be welcomed into this gem of a restaurant. Stylish, buzzy, and modern interiors make you feel as though you’ve been taken to Singapore. I went with a party of 5 so we all had the ability to try so much of the food, what a treat that was! Highly recommend the crab bao, beef ho fun, three chickens and laksa! But everything on their menu features top quality, fresh, delicious and superb dishes. Cannot wait to go back!

Really good food overall. The chilli crab bao is a must-order starter. Crispy on the outside with a nice bit of heat. The seafood fried rice was excellent and full of flavour. It’s definitely worth booking ahead, as it can get very busy. We waited around half an hour for a table on a Friday night.

instagram: splashwww youtube: @splashwww Tucked away in the heart of Soho, Singapulah really does deliver “a taste of Singapore” without needing a 13-hour flight.Stand-outs from our meal: Char Kway Teow (£14.95) – proper wok hei, lovely smokiness, perfectly balanced heat Everything tasted faithfully Singaporean – no weird “Westernised” adjustments, just the real deal.Yes, prices are London-level (2–3× what you’d pay in a hawker centre), but when the execution is this good and the ingredients clearly high-quality, it feels fair for what you’re getting in Soho. Currently the closest you’ll come to an actual Singapore hawker experience in the UK. Unpretentious, flavour-packed, and genuinely nostalgic if you know the originals. Worth every penny for a taste of home (or a first proper introduction). Already planning the next visit. Highly recommended!

This is the most unexpected discovery around the China town in London: delicious food, especially laksa 💔 very attentive and amazing people around and overall great experience 🔥❤️‍🔥 Kiran was with us this day and she was an amazing host and guide, she helped us choose the dishes, showed us the pictures and explained all the culture 🤗🤗

This is a pretty good representation of Singaporean chinese food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely try the Kueh Pie Tee, it’s a really nice starter. Their char kuey teow is one of the best in UK, full of wok hey. Definitely the place to go if you miss Singapore food. The staff are great as well and the restaurant is air conditioned.

My family and I visited your restaurant for lunch on November 16, and we had a wonderful dining experience👍 The chili crab was delicious with a hint of Thai flavor, which made it quite unique. 😋The laksa had excellent ingredients and a rich, flavorful broth. The fried chicken nasi lemak and pork satay skewers were also amazing — they really reminded me of being in Singapore. Overall, the dishes were exactly the flavors I love. I would also like to give special compliments to Michael ( the waiter upstairs)His friendly service, thoughtful attention, and hardworking attitude truly enhanced our experience. I look forward to visiting again, and I hope to see more dishes on the menu next time — especially Hainanese chicken rice and bak kut teh 🥰 Thank you so much !

I only ordered two dishes at Singapulah: Laksa and Singapore Chili Crab 🦀✨ Unfortunately, the Laksa wasn’t great for me 😕 The noodles were a bit hard and dry, so it didn’t feel very enjoyable 🍜❌ BUT…the Singapore Chili Crab completely changed the experience 😍🔥 This was my first time trying it and it was delicious! The sauce was rich, flavorful, and absolutely addictive. Dip the fried mantou buns into the chili crab sauce and you definitely won’t be disappointed 🤤🥯❤️ One crab is perfect for 2–3 people and will leave you feeling really full and satisfied 💯👌 If you come here, the Chili Crab is a must-try! 🦀✨

Stopped by Singapulah for a quick takeaway meal, and it was fast and satisfying. We ordered the fried crab chili bao, bok chor mee, and a coconut shake. The highlight was definitely the bao — even as takeout, it stayed crispy and full of flavor, which is impressive. The bok chor mee was well-seasoned overall, though a touch on the salty side. The coconut shake was refreshing and creamy, a little icy, but it definitely hit the spot. Overall, a great option for quick, tasty Singaporean-inspired food, especially when you’re on the go.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The chilli crab was fantastic and the buns were just crispy enough and soft enough. The only thing we didn’t like was the Siew Mai. A little taste of Singapore in London, without the taste being watered down too much for the locals (you can tell when every other patron in the restaurant is also a Singaporean). I would definitely visit again.

H

Food is quite delicious and flavorful, but service was a bit lacking. Extensive menu with lots of classic, homey Singaporean options. Food took awhile to come, and I received very little attention from the servers. Would come again for the food but hope the service improves.

Came here with my family for the end of Chinese New Year. We started off with their limited time New Year special: the Yu Sheng prosperity toss salad. It was really refreshing, not overly sweet like some other places, and we were pleasantly surprised with the "medium" size, which managed to feed 5 people comfortably with some leftover to take home. We then got a selection of the Zi Char sharing dishes. All the dishes were really tasty, especially the cereal killer prawns and the homemade tofu (both family favourites!) Our waiter Rahul was really friendly and accommodating, and a fantastic host for the evening.

p
pinakesh saha

The chilli crab was about as authentic as you can get in London and definitely the highlight of the meal. It would’ve been even better if the staff had mentioned the gloves for eating while serving the dish rather than after we’d finished. That said, the ambience and overall food quality were excellent

Tucked away in the heart of the British capital, Singapulah promises “a taste of Singapore in Soho”. Having sampled a few of the highlights on their menu, I can say with some confidence that they deliver on that promise. For context, my partner and I tried the Char Kway Teow (£14.95), Sambal Seafood Fried Rice (£15.95), Kueh Salat (£5.50), Mantou (£3.50), Durian Ice Cream (£7.50), and two Tea-O Peng (£9.00). Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and true to its roots. Having had the pleasure of enjoying these dishes in Singapore itself, I can vouch for their authenticity - the subtle wok hei in the rice, the lively heat of the Char Kway Teow, and the gentle fragrance of the coconut-pandan dessert were all commendably faithful to the original. Having said that, the only dish throughout the evening that truly exceeded our expectations was the rich, sumptuous and unapologetically aromatic durian ice cream. It captured the essence of the fruit without tipping into excess, and it lingered pleasantly on the palate without becoming cloying. Prices are, as one might expect, noticeably higher than their equivalents in Singapore (roughly two to three times more). But such is the inevitable exchange when importing culinary authenticity across continents, just as British exports in Singapore would no doubt incur a similar, if not greater, premium. All in all, Singapulah succeeds in evoking the genuine spirit of Singaporean dining - convivial, flavour-driven, and refreshingly unpretentious. It’s a warmly recommended stop for those seeking the real thing, only here you can enjoy it without the long-haul flight.

The guy is charge made a big deal over providing a table for two and then he added, u can have it for an hour and fifteen minutes! Wow, great welcome. The adjoining tables were vacant and after a while each table was occoupied by a single customer, hmm. Food was interesting, the sambal squid was a small portion, the sambal prawn portion was ok. We asked for extra spicy and was offered sambal as a side to compensate. For similar money I have booked a three course meal for two with a glass of prosecco in a restaurent in Mayfair. Service was ok Tiny restaurent, would reccomend u book a table in advance

Enjoyed Singapulah! The food is authentic for London, though a bit on the sweet side for my taste. Great ambiance and a fun retro vibe throughout the restaurant. Portions are generous, and I’d definitely come back — just please go a little easier on the sugar!

20251210 After seeing the gorgeous Christmas lights of London we stopped by at this Singaporean restaurant. It's definitely an authentic one as we watched the interview with the owner before. The food meets expectation and we're glad to have a nice Singaporean cuisine here.

We had a lovely time here ! food was great and our waiter was very attentive. We were really excited about the fried crab buns however we felt the crab was lacking. We ordered the Rojak as well as we wanted a salad but didn’t realise it comes coated in a sticky sweet sauce. We ordered the sorbet and ice cream which I wasn’t a huge fan of m but my friend really enjoyed it so each to their own! the sambal prawns, claypot chicken, Char Kway Teow and fish cakes were standouts for us! Would definitely come back but will order different items

L

A nice place and vibe. Food was service was good. They were very attentive as they kept refilling our water. Best dish was the char kway toew. Sambal seafood fried rice was also good, but it didn’t hit as hard with the flavours. The braised tofu clay pot was nice comfort dish. Prices are reasonable for the location. Would definitely come back to try some more dish’s.

The restaurant’s concept is creative. Good location in the middle of the center. Yet after a year, I came back to try again, the foods taste not impressed me.

S

Crab bao’s were neither crab-filled nor spicy — in fact it was difficult to find any filling in them whatsoever. Made up for by the other dishes namely the beef rendang and the seafood fried rice. Service was super friendly and prompt and the restaurant is nicely decorated.

We did not make a reservation but my friend saw there were a couple of tables free, and no queue, so she asked if she could grab a table for 2. After a bit of a fuss about not making a reservation and where the other person was, she managed to get a table. I arrived 5 mins later. Great! We got a table. We didn’t get the ‘special menu’ with the platter option so we went with normal à la carte. We ordered a few dishes so we got to try a variety. We wanted to try the skewers: choice of 4 chicken or 4 pork. We wanted to try two of each, but were told this was not allowed so we opted for satay chicken. The food arrived pretty quick - before our drinks actually! Drinks were really nice - we had ‘Lions Eye’ and ‘Calamansi Mockjito’. Char Kway Teow :- there’s no ‘wok Hei’ in this and was surprised there were noodles in there with Ho Fun! Overall this was just OK, and disappointing. Fried Chilli crab Bao :- freshly fried and crispy outer bun, however, the filling was non existent and lacking crab! Definitely won’t be ordering this again. Satay chicken:- nice and meat wasn’t dry . Satay sauce was nice. Sambal Prawns:- this was really nice and a little spicy. Nasi Lemak Sambal Eggplant:- this was also really nice. Overall it was a nice dinner but disappointed with the crab Bao and Char Kway Teow. Service was good considering how busy the restaurant is.

M
Myra Koh

As a Singaporean I was quite excited to finally try this place, but perhaps I had too high expectations. The chilli bao buns were not bad, but filling was not substantial and bit too dry. Would have liked the chilli crab gravy to be oozing out when I bit into it. Beef hor fun: portion size was small, and plate is too big so doesn't do it any more justice. No vegetables, usually beef hor fun has some green leafy vegetables. But very flavourful and has good wokhei. Bak chor mee was actually too spicy. Noodles were a bit overcooked for my liking and sauce didn't have that umami braised mushroom flavour that I'd get back home. Overall prices are steep for the food standard, but ambience is nice. Would not go back unfortunately

The kitchen here delivers an impressively high standard of cooking. The Chill Crab Bao offered a well-balanced contrast of textures – a crisp shell giving way to a soft, fluffy interior, with a filling that was flavourful and carried a measured spicy kick. The Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng was outstanding: aromatic coconut rice, authentic sambal with depth, and chicken that was both succulent and perfectly crisp-skinned. The Bak Chor Mee was equally well executed, with the correct ingredients and noodles cooked to ideal firmness. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the food. Dishes arrived at inconsistent intervals, with one course served significantly later than the other, leaving my companion to finish her meal before mine arrived. Similar delays and mix-ups were evident at nearby tables. More concerning, a garnish concealed a dead bug. Overall, the food is exceptional and among the best of its kind in London, but the service requires substantial improvement to meet the standard set by the kitchen.

I went to the restaurant before for dinner with friend. Flavors are rich, and portions are generous. I wanted a bite this time for myself as I was pretty hungry, before heading to the cinema. When seated, I saw they had a pre-theatre menu, at £26 - with 2 smaller starters (which was mentioned in portion side), a main and a drink. Pre-theatre are pretty common, and give you great value and cheaper price, and as I was early - happy to go for it. (Pre-theatre menu’s are normally before 6.30-7pm) Once my food came, I was quite disappointed. Everything was small portions, including the main (which wasn’t mentioned on the menu). The 2 small starters were ok - as it was mentioned. But the laksa was barely half the portion in a small bowl. The bowl was so small they have cut the noodles up in tiny pieces. There were 2 prawns and a chopped fish ball. It was a childrens portion. Then looking at the price of it, I don’t see what the value is? Not only that, but I left the restaurant not satisfied. If I knew, I would’ve ordered a normal laksa dish, which would have been £16 and a small full size bite (vary around £7-9) which basically comes to the same price then, including the drink. Found it quite of a disappointment that a “cheaper pre-theatre menu”, all of a sudden means you get half of the food, for almost the same price. Absolutely not impressed, and although the food is pretty reasonable - I would not go here again. Maybe they need to try pre-theatre menu’s around them, and seeing that you get the same amount, for a cheaper price.
