Excellent food, fantastic portions.. It's a really nice drive getting there in a great setting. One of the best diners in the area.
Oh my gosh! My French Toast was delicious. My wife's omelet was likewise to die for. We stopped by on our way south Thanksgiving morning, not really expecting anything to be open. Round III did not disappoint. We will be back!
What a great place! We had great service fun food and the all day breakfast was perfect. Very casual old-style roadside diner. Local people and good food!
Round Tuit was the beginning, Round III is the present name but everything inside remains the same! The food is classic! and your favorite diner fare; scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns, toast, & coffee; grilled cheese and soup; cheesecake, Salisbury steak, it's all here
Dale is always quick to help food is good
I've only had the burgers here, but quite possibly the best burger I've ever had. Also, I'm the owner has been an absolute gentleman the few times I've been here. Great fries too!
Nice down home atmosphere. Homemade soups are wonderful. Service was excellent and the prices are reasonable. Really enjoyed the strawberry shortcake too!
I'd passed by Round III everytime I chose Rte. 22 over the Taconic on my trips between the Berkshires and Long Island, and today I finally stopped to eat there with my son. It has given me yet one more reason to choose Rte. 22 from now on, as the sandwiches were excellent (turkey cranberry melt and a roast beef mushroom horseradish melt with just the right mix of everything). I showed remarkable self control in not topping things off with their delicious-looking ice cream selection, but that will no doubt happen next time. A friendly, welcoming and unpretentious place that is well worth stopping at.
When I,m in the area I always stop here to eat. They have an excellent wide range menu for all ages. Excellent prices as well, that isn't over priced. They have an awesome breakfast as well as lunch an dinner too! They have tons of ice cream or shakes to choose from. The diner looks like it's from the 50,s or 60,s vary relaxed settings to enjoy! 5 stars all the way!
I wanted diner food for breakfast and this place delivered. Scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, sausage, french toast, coffee, oj home fries all perfect and exactly what I was expecting. French toast was fluffy and delicious. The scrambled eggs were hot and the toast was buttered. Sausage and bacon plenty. The home fries were excellent and the coffee was hot and not burnt
Food was great. Burgers are phenomenal. If your craving something beefy with good flavor this is the place. Fries the way you crave. Onion Rings that aren’t mushy. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but it really is a hidden gem!
If you like diners and local places with character then this place is for you. The food is great and the owner is friendly and accommodating. Update: The diner has been passed on to the next generation and it's as great as it always has been. I had a great turkey club. Their omelets are still excellent. I'll be back.
the staff was so kind and the food was simple and very tasty.
Absolutely love this place. The owner was welcoming and enaged. Couldnt get over the cute cow decors. I had the sausage biscuits and gravy and my bf had the choco chip pancakes with a side of bacon. It was to die for. The next time we are in NY we are definitely stopping back at this place!
Coming from a big city for me Round III is a diner in the middle of nowhere. I believe it's been there for ages and people in the area are regular customers. I have breakfast there once a year for the past many years on my way to the Shrine of the Divine Mercy in Stockbridge. Cozy place and family owned. Small but with a party section. You can request whatever you want from the owner/cook/waiter. Update: another year and another exact routine for dinner. The owner recognizes us now.
Stopped here very early morning after already driving for hours. My son and I had the best egg sandwiches. Cooked hot to order. Not an easy scramble but real fried eggs with cheese and choice of meat. Charming spot. Perfect!
First time eating there and it was great! You can taste the freshness in all the ingredients. The homemade cookies were incredible! Definitely a new favorite.
Dale really has that hometown touch. The food is great. Never go through Millerton without eating at round III Lann Rubin II Founder North East Ford, Millerton NY North East Service Center, Milton NY
I’ve been here a couple of times to eat and was very impressed with the food and great service I had received! But my favorite experience of all time here was the day I had some car troubles and was stranded on route 22 in the cold at night. Thanks to the nice gentleman working behind the counter, I was able to get the help I needed! With his help and only a few words exchanged, he had turned that scary experience into something I will always be grateful for! Thank you for that! 10/10 would ALWAYS recommend!
By far the best food for miles. Order satisfying breakfast, lunch, or dinner foods any time of the day to be immersed in dynamic diner heaven. Every dish is fresh and fun without confusing food gimmicks. When you get around to it try the strawberry French Toast or the hand cut fries and enjoy an award winning country eating experience that won't break the bank.
It's a local spot that is friendly to anyone that walks through the door. The food is simple homemade classics-breakfast, burgers and sandwiches, meatloaf and the like. My favorites are the blueberry pancakes and the philly cheesesteak. The pancakes are fluffy and loaded with real blueberries. The philly? No Kraft Singles or Steak-umm here. It's thin sliced steak, mushrooms, caramelize onion and white American cheeseh. The hand cut fries are like the ones you get at the county fair-golden and soft but still crispy. If you're traveling through the area definitely stop by for a bite. It's cheaper and less fuss than the places in town. And it's a good stop with the family before going to McEnroe down the block.
Great family restaurant. Always filling! So it wasn't uncommon for r egulars at the restaurant having breakfast to just walk around the counter and grab the coffee pot and start filling up other patrons coffee while Dale (the previous owner) was cooking your meals in the back.Very homey and great small town feeling. To the point sometimes while we are in town my friend will bus our own table and any other one that needs it. Give a top and leave. The group I belong to have been going to Millerton for a couple decades now. Dale has always been an instrumental part of us functioning there for our short durations. He just sold the restaurant to his daughter who renamed it to the Round 3. Dale will still be cooking his wonderful food in the back but his daughter will serving the customers and taking care business duties. The torch has been passed to the 3rd family owner! Congratulations and I know my group and I look forward to many more years of great food to come!!!
The proprietor Dale was very friendly and super appreciative of my patronage. - the grilled chicken salad with balsamic dressing was EASILY one of the freshest, most delicious salads I've ever eaten! - the cakes and pies are also home made. SO, after my super-healthy salad... I splurged and had the 3-layer carrot cake... YUM!!! - I also took a slice of pecan pie and two apple crumb bars for the kids at home...(one may not have survived my drive home!) - I will be back, and OFTEN!
Enjoyed a dinner date at Round III. Service was great, food came out quickly and cooked to perfection. My sandwich came out grilled deliciously. My date enjoyed his sandwich as well. The fries were fresh cut, crispy and fantastic. The pecan pie I had for dessert was phenomenal. It was homemade, perfect crust. I would write home about it. This was a cute little diner off the beaten path. Absolutely worth a stop if you're driving by. A great, fast addition to any travels, cute atmosphere, lots of cow themed decorations. A very small town north east vibe.
We stopped in here a few weeks ago and we were very pleased. We both had burgers and fries and a chocolate shake. Everything was great and a very cute little place with a nice atmosphere and friendly folks.2 thumbs up 👍👍
We stop there for breakfast and I was very impressed with this place. Service was great and very friendly. Food was delicious and for reasonable prices. I will be iating there again.
Wonderful people, great food, affordable prices.
Easily one of the best diner breakfasts I’ve had. Excellent ham and cheese omelette. Very cheap too. Outdoor seating area has a beautiful view. Will definitely be returning.
“Business is good when the sun shines” said the man at the counter who made me a great breakfast sandwich to go. Inside a no frills small building is a great breakfast, lunch or dinner place with Country Diner-Vibe including an old style ice cream fountain counter, newspaper rack, and a cozy home-cooking feel. Coffee good too. Give these people some sunshine when your in upstate NY and on the road - north or south - between Millerton and Great Barrington. We want small business like this to continue to stay open and make life more interesting.
Great old school Roadside diner. Been there several times, ordered different entrees. I love the takeout cookies, pies and ice cream.

This delightful find is open 7 days/week, - a rarity in these parts. The food is delicious and reasonable, the service is prompt and good. O
I’ve lived in the area for years and never have I ever stopped to eat or get food to go from here, today was the day though. I will honestly say I was happy with my whole experience, albeit the man there had a bit of grumpy about him, I put it off to us calling close to the end of the day, it didn’t spoil a thing about our experience. The food was good, tasted fresh, the fries were great, the soup was a tad over salted but edible and had great flavor. I definitely see myself and my family getting food from here again in the near future as we love eating out.
Found this place on a road trip up to VT from Long Island, NY. The food was absolutely amazing, everything. Then I tried the peanut butter milkshake ... it was the best milkshake I've ever had in my life. Please, please, please support this place. It is a hidden gem more ppl need to know about!
My wife and I were driving home to New Jersey when we stumbled across this little gem. really enjoyed stepping in for the first time the decor was very welcoming. Our food arrived quickly and was cook to perfection. Service was exceptional,I wish I lived closer. I would be a daily customer. Keep up the good work and don’t change a thing.
This place has such a cute hometown vibe. I'll admit I was hesitant at first when everything kind of looked outdated, but once I sat down and absorbed my surroundings it had the atmosphere of being in a local place in a cozy novel or something! More importantly the food was delicious I got the raspberry pancakes and they blew me away. I will definitely be coming back here.
Great old fashioned country restaurant. Relax casual atmosphere Family owned for generations and very friendly. Home made style food made from scratch, always fresh from area farms. A place where the locals go and eat. Clean and reasonably priced. 100% recommended 👌 👍 ✨️
Classic diner off of 22! We had breakfast for dinner (and a burger) and everything was delicious. The menu is large (but not overwhelming) and the restaurant has lots of cute, classic decor. The owner was super nice and service was good. Prices were also very reasonable! Stack of pancakes, two eggs, bacon, and toast for less than $15.
Very cool small restaurant. 4 of us senior hungry golfers stopped on our way home. Found delicious burgers and hand cut fries. Milkshakes were really good and service was excellent. I would highly recommend. Love to live closer because the small menu was still full of potential winners and ice cream looked great.

Good, quick diner type food at a very reasonable price. Service is quick and friendly, lots of menu options and specials...,..plus breakfast is served all day. Good choice for a solid meal without the pretensee of Millerton and the wait of a "regular" restaurant.
We really enjoyed our meal here today. We had good burgers and my daughter got raspberry pancakes that were delicious! Its nice to still find places like this where the family can relax and eat a tasty, plentiful meal without spending a fortune. I also liked the retro decor and that there's a jukebox and so much ice cream! We need to keep places like this open around here!
Have passed this place many times in my travels, and I always wanted to try it. I finally made that happen. So glad I did. The food and service were outstanding. When the waitress was busy, the cook was going around taking orders and serving coffee! We will be back !
Ordered batter dipped mushroom and meatloaf. Mushroom is tender but the batter has a strong yeast aftertaste which is not very pleasant. Maybe it’s just me not used to the dish. The meatloaf is good. Homemade countryside style. The wait for the food is a bit too long though around 40 minutes. The service was good. People are friendly and attentive.

The guy working there appeared miserable in general. He served us begrudgingly... that being said, he did let us sample several ice cream flavors, and was quite generous with the scoops... great ice cream.. from a Maine brand..
Good, old-fashioned road-side stops such as this add to the warm & fuzzy feelings we all get about what makes America great! Food was down-home "comfort" as we all know & enjoy (the biscuits & gravy: WOWIE ZOWIE!!!). Friendly family establishment.
A way-station which catches the eye as the only place of its kind along a long stretch of Route 22, Round Tuit lures you in and impresses you right away with a laid-back, home-like atmosphere. It may be a bit too laid-back, however. The food is bland as if recently microwaved after months of storage in deep-freeze. The waitress was nice and was laughing at the smallest things. Very clean place, with local newspapers on sale.

Took a Sunday ride for lunch (a little over an hour) Food was good, service needs work though. Had to go up to the counter to ask for more water and tea. May or may not be back.

Short staffed, nice people. A regular customer took our order...so sweet. The chicken sandwich was not good. Burgers were not good either. Breakfast looks like their Forte
Tables chairs were very sticky and dirty. Bathrooms were dirty and smelly. The smell carried out to the restaurant. We had to move from our first table because it was covered in ants. Second table was equally dirty. Ended up leaving before ordering food. Staff didn't seem too concerned.
