I visited this spot during the happy hour after an appointment around the corner. They had live piano (80s, Elton John, Billy Joel)

This place, by far, is one of the best places to go for your buck$ Delicious food ,very friendly staff, and the decor is phenomenal. I stopped by there with my daughter and two grand daughters for Valentines Day brunch, and I will recommend anyone to go visit , you will not be disappointed 😉

Wow. Everything we tried was just incredible. Can't say enough about what a hidden gem this place is. Moe personally came out to make sure everything was good. Very nice person to meet. This was definitely one of the the best restaurants in have ever been to. And don't skip the lava cake for desert. It's not too sweet, and just incredibly delicious. Just like everything else on the menu..

Just like a recipe you need a great chef to assemble quality food and next exceptional staff. Moe and Lisa have achieved that goal. The food is “foodie” focus with an emphasis on quality. The staff is “client focused “ . When Moe and Lisa mix those two ingredients together you will have a super evening. Throw in the great piano player and you will not go home disappointed. Not to encourage drinking, but they have a third ingredient to compliment the staff and food, Freddie runs a super bar catering to your tastes. Toss the ambiance and the other components you will feel like star and be treated as a star at this culinary delight! Go, relax and enjoy the hospitality of this culinary 5 star team!

Randomly went to Moe's not knowing what expect considering it shares the same location as the Best Western. What a total surprise! We walked in and quickly noticed the welcoming ambiance, wonderful singing and piano playing along with a well appointed bar and an above average restaurant setting. We sat quickly and the food was delicious with a great presentation. A definite repeat for sure. Food quality by far equivalent to a high-end restaurant in NYC. Don't be fooled by the Best Western location, this is worth the visit. A bit pricey, particularly the liquor, but still a recommendation. Service as others said was a bit slow, but friendly and basically a no rush atmosphere, which quite honestly I like.

Had an enjoyable evening at the bar. Coconut Shrimp and the Eggplant Tart were wonderful appetizers along with a great wine selection to chose from. George the bartender was very attentive and George the piano player filled the backround with soothing music. Moe and Lisa are super friendly and made our first visit a nice experience! There is no doubt that Moe's Bisto and Bar has excellent food, drinks and service. We recently hosted a private event there and all our guests were extremely pleased with the food, appearance of the restaurant and the friendly service. I highly recommend this place. Moe the owner is very professional and friendly. He made sure we were satisfied with all the details. The reservation process went smoothly and I am glad we chose this place over others!

Love this place. The appetizers, bar and live music Friday nights are always enjoyable. Service is always great.

We hired out the patio for a 25+ people family reunion celebration and it was a great event! Mo is a congenial host who bends over backwards to make your event special and carefree. The patio is a beautiful setting, the staff is super-attentive. The bar is congenial and attractive. I highly recommend using Mo’s for any event.

Excellent cuisine. The entire table had delectable entrees. The wait staff was courteous and prompt. Overall, a fantastic experience! Staff and food are still excellent, and outdoor seating is plentiful. Pasta is delicious, and it's fresh and homemade. Don't pass up this opportunity.

Very good complimentary breakfast!!! They don't skimp out. While some hotels just include cereals and muffins, Moe's breakfast includes plenty of hot breakfast foods including fresh made Belgium waffles and fresh fruit. I found this hotel when I needed to rest after a long drive. The price seemed right. But I was in for a real treat. Nice spacious room and the breakfast sealed the deal for me.

We worked with Moe's to host a major family party for ~40 people. From the first consultation, the care and attention to detail was top notch. Moe himself explained how all the packages worked, advice about bar tab, etc,. and all his suggestions were spot-on. We had the run of the place on a Sunday when they were closed, but due to the beautiful weather the party ended up being entirely on the new covered patio. The staff worked with our musician so that he could be heard, and the buffet was staged on both sides of the bar. The guests of honor were extremely pleased with the party and so were we.

Jeez! I’m don’t even know here to begging with!!! The whole experience was fantastic, from the delectable cuisine to the attentive service to the quaint setting. I just had my wedding celebration and Moe along with he’s team made this day an unforgettable day not only for me and my groom but for everyone. This place makes you truly feel like you’re home! Fantastic! Second time here and experience was great. Delicious cocktails, varied menu, huge portions and tasty food. The service was also excellent! Can't wait to return.

We made reservations for Saturday night. We were greeted warmly by a lovely hostess and were given a choice of tables. The atmosphere was cozy with a lively vibe. A very competent live piano player was a big contributor. Our server was patient and very helpful with drink recommendations. We were given hummus appetizer on the house which was delicious. I ordered the beet salad- which hit the spot with figs and cranberries. My main dish was the lamb special- very very tasty, with hints of coriander and curry and other exotic species, accompanied with rice and vegetables. The portion was surprisingly large- as if you were home! My water glass was never empty as they are very attentive to fill it. The bottom line: this was a very pleasant, satisfying experience. I'm kicking myself for not going there before as I pass Moes all the time. As we left Mr. Moe came over introduced himself to make sure all was good- that put the candles on the cake! GO there! You'll be pleasantly surprised!

My review below still very much applies. I returned to Moe’s recently and had an outstanding meal with the same great service. Just wanted to confirm it remains a gem in this area for a great dining experience. ********** This is a fantastic restaurant in all respects. The food is consistently outstanding. The service is equally great; everyone is always friendly and attentive. And the space itself has a great vibe with a nice deck for outdoor dining. Not many places like this in the area.

This is a fantastic find, a place you can really enjoy a great dining experience. We enjoyed meeting Moe, the owner and chef, who cooked our Bourbon Shrimp table side. Which were delicious and a flaming success. We enjoyed fantastic service by Sarah, who was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was exceptional Dinner was fantastic, cooked to perfection. Fresh, high quality, well prepared. We almost didn't stay for dessert. That would have been a mistake. Get the Creme brulee it was unquestionably the best I have ever had. The atmosphere is romantic, with a wonderful pianist to make the evening perfect. This is an exceptional place to take that special person. You will feel like going home and writing a rave review.

Great place for lunch or nice dinner. Bar was nice, amazing staff. My wife and I ate on the patio outside which was beautiful. ☀️ the specials are what made it for us. So delicious! Try the Mediterranean sampler 🤤

Where to begin!!! You're greeted by an incredibly friendly staff. The atmosphere is like walking through a fairy tale. The food is exquisite! It's truly a hidden gem in NJ off 78 in New Providence. They have live music by a truly gifted pianist. The owner, Moe, will make your stay a top-tier experience for everyone. Highly recommend going if you ever are near by, it's an absolute must!

We went here last night for a holiday dinner with my husband's work. The food was wonderful and plentiful! We tried a little bit of everything, and there wasn't anything we didn't like. My husband absolutely loved the hummus! I ordered the beef short ribs and they were heavenly and served with amazing green beans. My hubby got a rib eye steak that was awesome as well. They even had a piano player and saxophone player that just made the night even more memorable. Long story short, go to Moe's! It was great!

Not usually one to write a review but I want to share one of my favorite places-Moe’s bistro & piano bar! I often frequent this place on a Friday or Saturday night b/c I just love the live piano music by George Fitzsimmons! Food & service at the bar is excellent! And Freddie, the bartender is exemplary!

We catered lunch from Moe’s and loved it. For my sisters 65 birthday celebration she especially loved the filet mignon kebabs and I loved the Mediterranean platter so elegantly plated. Moe gave detailed heating instructions and great presentation. Can’t wait to do this again!!!!!

I have been to this restaurant a few times and they never disappoint. The food presentation is magnificent. The taste even more impressive. Great variety of dishes. We took my mom here for mother's day and the service was superb and they truly care about you. The new bar is gorgeous, you just have come, see and taste the great flavors of the food yourself.

Moe’s Bistro is excellent in every way! The food is amazing, bartending excellent and the entertainment top notch. George is an outstanding pianist/singer and brings the dining experience at Moe’s to the next level. We love Moe’s Bistro and look forward to our next night out! Susie & Chris

I have been to this restaurant several times over the last couple of years, and they never disappoint. The food is extremely well prepared, the portions are decent, and the presentation is well thought out. The menu contains choices that cover a broad spectrum. The atmosphere is cosy and the decor tastefully done. The bar is set off to the side and is a nice place to have a drink and a meal in a more relaxed atmosphere. Don't be fooled by the fact that it shares its location with a Best Western Hotel: This is a first class restaurant!

Fantastic Birthday Dinner. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly. The drinks were tasty and the service was very attentive.

Attended an engagement party and the service was excellent in handling a big crowd. Food was very good and it is a nice place to eat.

We had Thanksgiving dinner here and the food was outstanding. Although a buffet the turkey and filet mignon where both moist and tender. The wait staff was attentive and helpful. She especially enjoyed their New Providence Cosmo. The ambiance was nice and the overall atmosphere was upscale. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars was that this was a special occasion so I can’t tell what a normal visit would be like.

First I didn’t realize this was in a hotel, a best western. Second the pricing listed is fairly incorrect (two dollar signs on google or $30 and under on open table). Very few things on their menu are under $30. In entrees think it’s only one thing. An app alone was like $24 (crab stuffed mushroom). The mixed kebab was pretty good, but very big. Could easily be split but think there was an addtl $6 charge on top of the $50+ already for the entree (plus a 3.75% fee for credit cards). Also they give you a drink menu that has “premium” wines in, which are over $20/glass. The normal wine menu is in the back of the menu. The glass I got was $17 and it was just ok. For the price I’d hesitate to go back as it seems pricier or on par with nicer places in summit.

I only gave it 3 stars because the price point is wrong. Especially for being in a Best Western. The food is very good and the outdoor atmosphere is nice but the indoor atmosphere is depressing. Went with a friend. We ordered a soup each and a small salad each. We each had two glasses of wine (nothing fancy) and it was $100 each. I'd give once before with a group and again it was $100 each. That is the same as a high end restaurant in Manhattan.

I was part of a party of 6. We each ordered appetizers- 5 of us got what we ordered. After waiting a few minutes we asked about the last one, that is when we were told they did not have any soup that night. Our meals were lukewarm at best. My duck was ok but vegetables and couscous were cold. Servers never check on us or asked how our food was. They brought the bill with our desserts. Never asked if we wanted refills on our coffee or another round of espresso. Would not recommend.

The Shrimp and Crab appetizer was tasteless. I had the Grouper( Fish) for dinner and it tasted like bad eggs , it was horrible. My wife ordered Filet Migon with pasta and she was also not satisfied. If you want to pay a lot of money for bad food this is the place for you. I will never come here again. Also be aware they charge almost 4% service fee for using credit card and other b.s. fees. Stay Away you will thank me. On the positive side the place itself is nice and the piano playing was enjoyable.

I cannot express how horrible the customer experience was at this establishment. Whoever Freddie is to this restaurant couldn’t have been more rude and disrespectful to a patron. This is not an inexpensive restaurant by any means, and Freddie thought it more important to open up a glass door that was on top of the bar table my friend and I were seated at to let someone out to smoke a cigarette, then to listen to me asking him not to let the below freezing air on to us as we were seated. He found it appropriate to scream at me in the middle of the bar. You would think not opening a non exit door in the coldest weather of the season (18 degrees at the time) would be a simple request that could be granted but not to Freddie. This was a sliding glass door across the back of the restaurant that opens completely when weather is nice and there is outdoor dining. Not a door that is used for entering or. exiting the restaurant. Clearly disrespecting customers seemed more appropriate. Not to mention there was a door 10 feet away not by my table, or God forbid someone could use the actual entrance/exit door. I hope the owners read this and know just what kind of staff they have. Needless to say, I could never recommend a place that so blatantly disrespects paying customers. The whole situation was absurd.

The best part of dining here is the service and setting outdoors. Otherwise, the food was mediocre and prices high. I had shrimp kabob. The shrimp were very dry, overcooked and had little or no seasoning. Others agreed that the food did not warrant the price. Maybe a good place to go for a drink, but not dinner.
