Opinions de Dagon New York
Cute little shop with coffee, 4 tables, wifi, kind staff. Great place to read / get some work done. High quality coffee! The speciality lattes are just syrups. I got bourbon vanilla and it didn’t add too much of a punch. I could have just gone with the regular coffee and been happy. Really great ambience. Good spot.
It’s so nice to finally have a coffee shop in the neighborhood other than big corporations! Prices are reasonable and staff are extremely welcoming. Cute little dining area, perfect workspace with wifi and pastries! Electronics out of battery? Fortunately, there are outlets under the seats (:
Cozy cafe with a number of seats for working and reading. Love the vibe and coffee! I tried oat latte and coconut pastry and they were great. Would def come back.
I live in Williamsburg, but can’t resist coming to UWS for Fillup Coffee’s BOURBON VANILLA LATTE. 🤤🤤🤤 It’s the perfect mix anytime time of the day. Owner’s very accommodating too!
Writing this after I had my second cup of Oat Flat white from this place. The joy I had was exactly the same as I had on my first time. Really good coffee base, rich flat white experience. Do visit!
Small but cozy shop for quick coffee n croissant. Great guy n helpful. I loved the i had just plain butter croissant n i felt am in france. So fresh n smooth. Enjoy urself
Nice, quiet and cozy place with just 5 working seats for digital nomads 😁 2 beautiful sitting in front of the window, 3 on a bench with 3 tables. Each table has also a chair, so technically place can fit up to 8 people.
I come here almost everyday and it’s always been a pleasure being there! Xoxo, Chanel.
Good coffee and good design in a cozy space with a few tables. It's great to have a really good cafe to work in in this part of the neighborhood, which doesn't have many. Patronize this place and keep the open for the public good! The Thai iced coffee is great and they have a lot of interesting-looking items to try (Spanish latte, Nola-style coffee, etc.). Highly recommend.
This was an excellent little shop. Stayed at a nearby hotel for three days, and went here at least once daily because it was so good. Creative menu, clean space, well executed beverages. I was with a friend and we both manage different specialty coffee shops in Boston, and we were both impressed with the full flavor of drinks, the very knowledgeable barista that made our drinks and answered many questions, and even gave us a couple stickers! I would absolutely return here, and recommend it to anyone looking for a yummy coffee treat!!
Quaint coffee shop with great coffee and nice staff. Even just the brewed coffee actually tastes good. There is only one employee when I visited on a semi-busy Saturday morning but she kept the line moving like a boss, while being nice and friendly. They have nice looking pastries and taco bowls. And a $1 financier. Surprising to see anything $1 in this neighborhood. Definitely visit if you want coffee.
I wish I could give 10 stars!! This place is amazing! The staff is super friendly, they have a lot of original and fun drinks and all the drinks are unique and delicious! They have 2 plant-based milk options available, I would love to have coconut milk or soy milk as an option too. The toasted cinnamon latte is my favorite so far, but I also enjoyed the Hojicha latte and the lemon latte. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and I will be back as many times as I can! They now also have a stamp card, which I really like! Fillup Coffee is great!!
This is the best coffee shop in the neighborhood, hands down! They have a large menu with lots of unique drinks, and the Nola cold brew is the best one I've ever had. Everyone who works here is super friendly and the environment is sleek but comfortable. Don't go to the chain coffee shops, go here instead!
This charming coffee shop serves excellent coffee with friendly staff. Despite having just one employee on a semi-busy Saturday morning, the service was efficient and welcoming. They offer delicious pastries, taco bowls, and even a $1 financier, which is a rare find in the neighborhood. If you're in need of a good cup of coffee, this place is a must-visit.
great coffee, special flavors and best bang for the buck
I don't know how this place has not been exploded in popularity... Best coffee EVER! Always fresh treats and awesome staff! Thank you guys, you Rock!
Incredible Restaurant Week menu from start to finish. We shared everything and didn’t have a single disappointing bite. And the cherry on top? Spencer. Wonderful server and took care of our every need!
Have to shoutout Spencer, our lovely, knowledgeable, charismatic server. He was attentive to every need, was patient when we were taking time to order, and created an unforgettable evening me and my friends will never forget. Shoutout to the whole staff, my water glass was always full. Restaurant week deals and food was incredible! You had to roll me out of there!
I was dining at the bar and the service and cocktails were amazing. I ask the bartender, her name was Greth. For a Michelin star restaurant she did an amazing job with my cocktails. It was in point everything balance.
After watching a movie, Saturday night, my husband and I were hungry for a bite to eat and our friends had mentioned their visit to Dagon. We decided to visit the restaurant for a quick bite. We were seated and our waitress, Mejda introduced herself and brought us some water. She was extremely helpful in providing us food suggestions and listened to us. I must say the service was impeccable. It really added to our night. The food was so tasty and the meat came off the bone. The restaurant was gorgeous and not that busy. I can't wait until our next date night!!!
After sometime of wanting to visit Dagon my friends and I finally stopped by the award-winning restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the inviting ambiance and food variety. Showcasing delicacies from the Mediterranean region Dagon is not one to miss. Mejda, our waitress was one of the best servers I have ever had. She listened to people needs and suggested items to compliment everyone's desires. She was very attentive during our entire meal and made the experience an enjoyable. We can't wait to visit again.
For a Pre-Opera bite, a close friend pointed us to Dagon. Wow were we grateful we followed his lead! Mackenzie, our server extraordinaire, was fabulous! Knowledgeable and attentive with the perfect level of wit and charm to make the delicious evening that much better. Highly recommend the dips!! Bread and Crudités with the Tapenade, Spicy Feta and Beets with Horseradish Cream and Flash Fried Garbanzo Beans - Heaven! Tuna Crudo and Greek Salad were divine as well as the Hanger Steak Skewers. I will note, the place was quite hot - like hot! Literally the thermostat on the wall noted 81°. Neighboring tables were fanning with menus, taking off any access layers of clothing possible, as that's a bit up there for a chilly November night. All and all it was a big win for us and really thank Mackenize for that! He made sure we had a steady supply of ice for our Saratoga to stay cool and the meal flowed smoothly, timed perfect for curtain call. Can't wait to try again next venture up there minus the hot room.
Our first visit to Dagon was far more than we expected! The atmosphere was relaxing and enjoyable. The attention to detail by our server was incredible. We enjoyed some incredibly unique cocktails. The food was some of the best we’ve enjoyed in NY! The manager, Frank, went above and beyond when I mentioned that it was my wife’s birthday. He provided us one of the most delicious, flourless chocolaté torts we’ve had and wanted to make sure that we knew how much he appreciated our patronage. Thank you, Frank, and everyone at Dagon, for helping to make our visit to NY truly memorable!
We happened to stop by and wanted to continue our conversation and grab coffee as well as dessert. We had a very attentive waiter the service was excellent. We ordered several cappuccinos, espresso and the Espeesso Martini with the Shinla and cheesecake. Our favorite was the Shinla which was excellent. Next time we will stop by and have a full meal. We truly enjoyed the atmosphere and food.
Like an oasis. Located on the (upper) UWS, this lovely restaurant is worth the trip. Well decorated with very attentive service. (Water glasses continually filled which is always a plus in my book). …

Delicious. We came here on a Saturday night with no reservation. We were quickly seated at the table and the food was so good. Hands down one of my favorite places I've eaten at all year.

Decent lattes and creative seasonal menus - definitely not my favorite latte in the UWS, the espresso shots tend to be a little over-extracted for my tastes, but I like their seasonal options when I’m in the mood for a flavored drink. Small but clean and chic interior and they are always playing good music!
Small but cozy place, coffee is really good, however the uptaco.. seemed like airplane food
I randomly found Dagon while walking down Broadway and decided to give it a try. I ordered the three mezze plate, and the bread it came with was incredibly fresh—a must for dipping. I chose the marinated beets, the matbucha, and feta. All of them were excellent, but the beets really stood out; the horseradish yogurt was a fantastic touch and paired with the roasted chickpeas it elevated the whole dish. Finished with the panna cotta which if you're a fan of rose water, you will love it. Overall, a great find and a fantastic meal!
I recently dined at Dagon restaurant and had a mixed experience. The ambiance was fantastic, creating a welcoming experience. Service was equally friendly, attentive, and professional throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the chicken schnitzel fell short, with a rubbery texture that made it less enjoyable and the salad was overly salty. On a positive note, the bread was absolutely amazing and fresh, flavorful, and a highlight of the meal. Overall, while there were some hits and misses with the food, the great service and ambiance make it a place I’d consider giving another try.

Mediocre notwithstanding high expectations to our surprise. Dorada and branzino were completely. Totally overrated. Not really Israeli food.

Excellent Mediterranean food. Lunch menu is a bit limited compared to the evening menu. The shakshuka was very good, same about the mezze. The kubaneh bread was tasty but too salty for my pallet
We had brunch at this Israeli restaurant. The breads are fresh baked and delicious. Interesting and diverse Mediterranean food. Great service who helped walk us through the menu. Yummy!

We went for dinner which was actually very good but really expensive While ordering we were pressured to order more food than we wanted or needed.
Nice vibes, but the coffee is subpar. Ordered a simple cappuccino and was given a foamy mess.
The guy with the long hair and blue eyes has to “fix” his attitude. He never says hello, or smile or thank you. I gave this coffee more than enough chances but good service is something they have to invest in. Cappuccino is always messy. C’mon guys. It’s 2024 in NYC and you serve this?
