Opinions de La Farine New York
The atmosphere, staff and most of the food and coffee here is amazing!!!! I love that the hours are flexible as well especially an artist and I’m obsessed with the elegant decor and vibe! I was able to plan my creative calendar and finish a nice drawing well there and I can’t wait to go back 🤍🤍
I stopped by the La Farine because I was on the Upper West Side. There’s ample seating on the upper level and outdoor seating as well. It’s a perfect spot to catch up with a friend or get a little work done. They are nice food options—the smoked salmon croissant was delicious! The pastries were tasty too! The staff were very friendly. Neat & clean restrooms. Overall great experience and I would absolutely go back!
the CUTEST French-inspired bakery & coffee spot in UWS! ☕️🥐🫐✨ I stopped by a tried an assortment of pastries & coffee and was blown away. My top pastry recos are hands-down the Apple Tart and Chocolate Almond Croissant. Also the Strawberry Pepper Croissant and Blueberry London Croissant - the combo of texture, frosting, and jam was INSANE. For lunch, the Pesto Mozzarella Sandwich was perfection. The staff was so kind, the café was bright and spacious, AND there was A/C and a bathroom (a gem in NYC). Would be a great place to swing by for breakfast or lunch or WFH. I'll be back!
I am officially obsessed with La Farine. Truly the best sourdough I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside, beautifully soft and stretchy inside, with that deep flavor that I know took them hours of care and thought. You can truly taste the time and intention, and my family's sandwiches will never be the same again. What made the experience even more special was the staff. They went above and beyond. They answered questions, offered recommendations, and made me feel completely welcome. It’s rare to find a place where both the product and the people are this exceptional. There is another well-known sourdough in the Upper West Side that does not come close to this one, and the staff is rude. I am so glad I discovered La Farine! La Farine has earned a loyal customer. I’ll be back (probably more often than I should!).
We had a lovely meal at La Farine! We ordered a ton of food and loved everything we tried. We especially loved the pesto sandwich and the double chocolate cookie! The rose macaron latte was so unique and different than any other coffee drink I’ve ever had and was so flavorful. The interior of the cafe is cute and inviting and the staff was so friendly and kind! We loved sitting outside at the bistro tables as well. Definitely will be making a return trip!
La Farine Café is such a gem! I had a cappuccino with a beautiful design on top—it was rich and smooth. We tried the Mozzarella Pesto sandwich and the scrambled egg sandwich—both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly toasted. The almond croissant was buttery and flaky, and the blueberry-filled round croissant was absolutely delicious! Cozy vibes and lovely service made the experience even better. Highly recommend for a relaxed brunch or coffee break! ☕🥐✨
I stopped by La Farine Cafe on a rainy Sunday, and wow — what a gem on the Upper West Side. Even though it was packed, the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The whole place gives off real French bakery charm. The pastries are fantastic and surprisingly well-priced for the neighborhood. The babka is the absolute standout — rich, chocolatey, and easily one of the best I’ve tried in NYC. The croissants, tarts, and éclairs were also delicious and fresh. One of my favorite parts was the second floor, which feels like a mini art gallery. It’s such a lovely, unexpected touch and makes the café feel extra special. Overall, amazing pastries, great pricing, beautiful ambiance, and a unique artistic vibe. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!
Best chocolate chip cookie I have EVER tried!! I brought my mom here for brunch and we absolutely loved everything! If you’re looking for something savory I would recommend their black pepper croissant, but if you have a sweet tooth you need to try their chocolate chip cookie. Service was fast and everything we ordered was fresh and warm!
One of the best pastries I had in recent times! Fresh, buttery and delicious. The sandwiches were amazing too . Loved the almond and chocolate croissant. The location is cute . Downstairs is the bakery and upstairs cute sitting area. Service was quick, however they need to work on politeness . I would go there to grab some food for sure
A new favorite of mine! Had to try a selection of their pastries because I could not choose! Everything looked and tasted great. Loved the smoked salmon sandwich most. Definitely planning to come back for that. The interior was beautiful and spacious, tons of space to sit. Service was also amazing!
The atmosphere is fabulous it’s a very cute cafe the seating is great and there is plenty of space to sit. The service was amazing, the employees are very kind and helpful. Their iced lattes are so good, i got a mozzarella sandwich on a sourdough it was phenomenal. We also got a strawberry croissant had such a refreshing jelly inside and a blueberry one the best croissants in the city. Overall experience was great will definitely be back.
I stopped into La Farine Pâtisserie in NYC and I’m officially obsessed. ✨ From the moment you walk in, it feels like a little Parisian daydream cozy, elegant, and filled with the most gorgeous pastries staring you down like “pick me.” 😭💕 I tried their sandwiches, coffee, and a few of their pastries and everything tasted fresh, buttery, and made with so much love. The staff was super sweet you can tell they really care about what they create. If you’re looking for a cute café to romanticize your morning, grab content, or just treat yourself, La Farine is such a gem. I’m already planning my next visit. 🥐☕️✨
One of the cutest bakeries I’ve been to in NYC, and I love how I’m able to see them prep and bake everything in front of you. Their chai latte was so good; it wasn’t watered down and you can taste the spices. The tomato tart was my highlight—it was savory and addicting. All of their other pastries were super good too. I appreciate them not being too sweet.
My husband and I went for a mini date & decided to stop by La Farine. It was such a lovely experience! Not only are the stuff amazing, but the food and drinks (tea/coffee) are pretty good as well. We both loved the sandwiches but I fell in love with the Paris Brest and the hot chai latte was AMAZING! Definitely a great spot to start your morning, go for a mini date, &/or catch up with a friend. Just in case your wondering, this is what we ordered: - Scrambled Egg in Croissant - Mozzarella & Heirloom Tomatoes in Sourdough - Classic + Speculoos Croissants - Paris Brest (tasted like Ferrero Rocher) - Iced Mountain Berry Tea (this was not sweet, but still tasted good, definitely recommend sugar if you like it sweet) - Hot Chai Latte (absolutely love the one! Very good chai latte)
I highly recommend visiting this cafe! The atmosphere and vibes are so cozy & it’s just the perfect hang out spot! We had brunch there and had a selection of sandwhiches, pastries and also coffee between me & my mom. The pastries are absolutely delicious & service was also excellent. Will definitely be back!!!
Such a gem on the Upper West Side! The pastries are fresh, beautifully made, and taste as good as they look. The coffee is excellent too smooth and well balanced. The space feels cozy and welcoming, perfect for a quick morning stop or a slow afternoon treat. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to! The paper croissant is my favorite item on the menus 🥐
The perfect cafe. I spent an afternoon here just soaking up the sun and catching up with a friend. The food was amazing- especially the chocolate chip cookie and the quiche. There’s plenty of seating inside if you need a space to work and outside if you prefer people (and dog) watching. Staff were super attentive as well. Highly recommend checking this out!
La Farine Pâtisserie et Café is hands down a hidden gem in the Upper West Side!! 💎 The pastries? Unreal. The sandwiches? So good I’m still thinking about them. And don’t even get me started on how sweet and welcoming the staff is they make you feel at home the second you walk in. The whole place feels so chic with the marble accents, and they have the cutest upstairs seating area plus outdoor tables if you want to soak in the neighborhood vibes. I’m the most indecisive person ever, but the lady at the register went above and beyond explaining every pastry and even gave me her top picks. If you’ve got a sweet tooth, highly recommend the Strawberry Pepper Tart and the London Blueberry Tart. Sweet, crunchy, and with coffee the best combo! And for breakfast? The scrambled egg croissant sandwich. No words. Flaky, buttery, perfectly cooked eggs you’ll want another one before you even finish the first. Go check them out now before it becomes the coffee shop everyone in NYC is lining up for.
La Farine Pâtisserie et Café is such a charming Parisian escape on the Upper West Side. I stopped in last weekend and instantly fell in love with the aesthetic which was beautiful, welcoming, and perfectly cozy. The rose macaron latte was incredible (so delicate and fragrant), and the chocolate croissant was buttery, flaky perfection. Everything was freshly made, and the atmosphere made it even better. A new UWS favorite!
UWS cafe with the coziest vibes with large windows letting in sun for those perfect golden hour vibes! Literally the best tuna salad I’ve had with a rich flavor accented by sweet and crispy apples. So good I grabbed a second one on the way out for later. Fresh smoked salmon on soft challah and a creamy base. Good variety of sweets - velvety chocolate babka, sweet tart, and tangy pie. Would highly recommend the sweet and savory!
Hands down one of the best bakeries I’ve been to! The pastries taste straight out of France — super fresh, flaky, and perfectly sweet. You can tell everything’s made with love and quality ingredients. The croissants and baguettes are unreal, and the coffee hits every time. It’s the kind of place you walk into and instantly feel happy. Definitely my new go-to spot for a little treat
Beautiful cafe with plenty of seating indoors and a few tables out front. I stopped by around 7pm on a Monday night and there were still plenty of pastries to choose from. I got a chocolate babka slice and it was so flavorful and buttery and delicious! I’m rarely around this side of town but I’m ever back I’ll be sure to stop by again!
I visited this cafe on a Saturday morning. The spot can be really busy and crowded. But the service and the energy of the staff was still great. My favorite one will be the Chocolate Babka with a cup of Hot Chocolate. There are seats upstairs and we waited for a bit since it might have been their peak hours. Love the atmosphere of the cafe. 🤍☕️
Visited this past weekend with my mom and had such a great experience. I’m so not kidding when I say everything was a 10 out of 10. As soon as I walked in, the staff was so attentive there was a gentleman by the name of Calel who was so caring and friendly and had such a pleasant attitude. They made my experience luxurious and yet a homey feel. I was so happy to see the Staff freshly preparing everything that I ate right in front of me. That’s so rare for a bakery these days. I mean when I tell you I tried a bit of everything and it was all good. I’ve been telling all my friends they have to visit and to try the sugar tart, apple tart and mozzarella on sourdough.
Cute bakery on the UWS, they have standard pastries and coffees for takeaway but also recently opened their upstairs seating for wine and accoutrements in the evening! Selection is more snack foods like cheese boards/bread/olives/dips as opposed to a meal, but the items pair well with wine. Good selection of wines available by glass or bottle. It was pretty quiet when I visited and a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the city, making it a good space to relax or catch up with a friend.
I stopped in around 9:45am on a Saturday and was blown away by the atmosphere, the fresh baked pastries, and delicious chai! My friend and I ordered several croissants and could not believe how buttery and flaky they were. We sat in their balcony area and caught up in this lovely space✨
Had the pleasure of visiting this amazingly beautiful French 🇫🇷 cafe on the upper west side and I was absolutely blown away and most impressed from the moment I first stepped into the cafe. First let’s talk about the vibes and atmosphere. It’s a definitely 💯, friendly staff, excellent working atmosphere, amazing delicious pastries and coffee, ☕️ their wine list is phenomenal. All round it’s just a pleasant and amazing spot worth visiting.
Loved this little nook of Paris on the UWS! Definitely recommend the savory bites like the scrambled egg sandwich on a croissant with truffle and asparagus, and the tuna salad on a baguette. For sweets, the dulce coffee croissant was unreal and the chocolate chip cookie was so decadent. Will be coming back!
Charming French bakery and café located in New York City’s Upper West Side. Bright and airy atmosphere, freshly baked and tasty pastries, specialty coffee and drinks, this place offers a taste of Paris in New York City. Must have the almond croissant, smoked salmon in challah roll, and chocolate chip cookie. Such a warm and inviting vibe, I can’t wait to go back!
I had such a great experience! The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and the moment I walked in, it smelled like fresh pastries and amazing coffee. I came around lunchtime when it was really busy, but the staff was still super friendly, patient, and welcoming. The pastries were absolutely delicious — fresh, buttery, and perfectly made — and the coffee was rich and flavorful. Everything tasted so good that I ended up staying longer than I planned. This café has officially become my favorite brunch spot in the neighborhood. It’s the perfect place to relax, get great food, and enjoy the vibe. Highly recommend to anyone in the area!
A very cute and cozy bakery on the upper west side. I definitely enjoyed sitting upstairs and getting to see the bakery staff making the pastries behind the counter. The food was all really fresh and there was a wide array- I’ll definitely have to come back and try more. Plus, the atmosphere was very approachable and warm.
I cannot recommend this place enough. I loved the open kitchen concept where you can see the team craft every item fresh. The handcrafted pastries are a must try here. We wanted to try everything on the menu! The drinks we ordered were delicious, and the breads, sandwiches, and pastries we ordered were so good.
Great café with a wide variety of options. Both pastries and savory items were delicious! The pastries were not overly sweet, so they were enjoyable all the way to the last bite. My favorites were the Smoked Salmon in Challah Roll and the Tarte Bourdaloue! The coffee was excellent as well, with a rich and well made espresso. The space is large, comfortable, and very relaxing! It feels like a place where you can really take your time, and it seems perfect for both families with kids and casual dates.
I had the best time here! The pastries are DELICIOUS (my favorites were the chocolate croissant, and the lox sandwich). I also really enjoyed the pumpkin spice latte. All of the staff were so kind. There is so much seating which is perfect for doing school work or WFH but can definitely be a bit louder during rush hour, as expected. Will definitely be back!
the hot chocolate and pastries i got were delicious (chocolate chip cookie, pistachio white chocolate babka & a plain croissant). the cafe decor is also very cute, only thing is if you dine in you might be waiting a while for a seat as seating is limited and people are often sitting for a while with their laptops or reading. i waited about 30 mins for a seat but other than that this was a nice french-inspired cafe to grab some pastries & a drink!
Absolutely love La Farine Pâtisserie, it’s such a sweet little gem on the Upper West Side! The space is warm & cozy. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Everything we tried was fresh and perfectly made, especially the pastries, which were flaky, buttery, and not overly sweet. My favorites were the apple tart and the bagel with cream cheese and lox. They also have a great selection of coffee drinks and teas, plus plenty of seating, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing breakfast or lunch.
I am so excited that I came across this hidden gem on the Upper West Side. The atmosphere is very inviting, the staff is great, and the food is delicious. I love the decor and the pastries are made right in front of you. There is a huge variety to choose from. You can also enjoy their delicious lunch menu along with great tasting coffee. I will recommend to all my friends.
La Farine is a super charming French bakery. The space itself is surprisingly roomy because there is actually plenty of seating upstairs. I really appreciated the homemade seasonal flavors for fall, I got the pumpkin spice latte and it was really good. I almost couldn’t choose between all the sweet and savory options… But my favorites have to be the tuna baguette, which was flavorful and filling, and the coffee croissant (love the slight bitterness of the espresso flavor and it’s filled inside!), I do have to give the smoked salmon sandwich it’s flowers too because it was a very refreshing bite. Totally recommend checking this cute spot out!
Came here around 8 o’clock on a Monday morning. We tried the Rose macaron latte, hot, chocolate, egg croissant sandwich, tomato tart, Pistachio white chocolate babka, apple tart, and chocolate chip cookie. My favorites were the savory egg, croissant sandwich and tomato tart. The chocolate chip cookie was also really good and full of chocolate. As we were leaving, we saw the kitchen piping fresh whipped cream on top of brown croissants and they looked like they took such pride in it. Everyone was super nice the entire time. There is a super cute upstairs seating area. Definitely stop by for a pastry!
Super laid-back café on the UWS, nicely tucked away from the touristy spots. Their handcrafted drinks are really good, and the upstairs seating is my favorite part. Cafes in NYC with a truly relaxed seating area are rare, and this one is a gem. Grab your drink and food, head upstairs, and enjoy a moment to unwind, reset, or even get some work done. Very easy to get to and convenient to commute to as well.
This is definitely going to be my go to cafe! The food & dessert are a 10/10. You have to try the cheesecake & almond croissant. The environment is so clean and gives Paris vibes. Ladies this our favorite part, the bathroom is too die for! The aesthetic of the bathroom is amazing 😍
Loved this space! As a European, good bread & pastries is hard to find but here it is pure heaven! Everything is homemade and you can really taste it! The mozzarella sourdough with the pesto, WOW! Also a must try was their seasonal dessert as well as their almond croissant! Charming ambience, quick service, nothing to add!
I had such a wonderful time at La Farine, truly a UWS gem. If I lived locally, I would be there all the time. What I loved is that seemed to be the vibe. A lot of the people that were there, were clearly locals. It's a very beautiful and calm atmosphere. Perfect for some journaling, solo time or time with a friend. The food was amazing too, everything is freshly baked and I loved how you can see them making everything. Would highly recommend the smoked salmon on challah roll, and the caramelized hazelnut cookie. I really want to go back for their croissants and chocolate chip cookie. I stopped by La Farine Patisserie et Cafe on a random afternoon and ended up staying longer than I planned. It’s not flashy or overhyped, it just feels calm. The smell of fresh pastries hits you right away, and there’s something comforting about sitting there with a coffee and a simple, well-made dessert. Everything tastes thoughtful, not overly sweet, just balanced and satisfying. It’s the kind of spot where you can sit alone, scroll less, breathe more, and actually enjoy your break. Nothing dramatic, just genuinely good.
Super cute and spacious bakery !! They have two levels so plenty of space to do work. The scrambled egg croissant w/ asparagus and gouda cheese is my fave!! The eclair is also phenomenal, the cold cream inside is subtly sweet while the exterior is slightly crispy. Definitely recommend swinging by if you are in the Upper West Side !
I had such a great experience at this café. The almond croissants were perfectly flaky with the right amount of sweetness, and the lattes were rich and made with care. One of my favorites was the dulcey cafe cylinder. The staff went above and beyond to make the visit feel warm and personal. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cozy spot with amazing pastries and great service.
La Farine Pâtisserie is such a sweet little gem on the Upper West Side. The space feels warm and cozy the moment you walk in, and the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Everything we tried was fresh and perfectly made especially the pastries (flaky, buttery, and not overly sweet). The egg sandwich was my favorite , with a subtle hint of truffle that was so delicious and unlike anything I’ve had before. The latte was smooth and balanced, and the upstairs seating makes it a great spot to actually sit, relax, and enjoy the moment. I also loved being able to watch the bakers making bread from scratch from the terrace above. Perfect for a slow morning, getting some work done, catching up with a friend, or enjoying a solo café moment 🤍
Really enjoyed our visit to La Farine Pâtisserie et Café on the Upper West Side. We tried a couple of savory sandwiches, and the smoked salmon was so good 🤤 super fresh and flavorful. The pistachio babka was our favorite though, absolutely delicious and something I’d come back just for. It’s also a really nice spot to sit, relax, and enjoy your food. Cozy atmosphere and perfect for a chill break. We’ll definitely be back!
Visited La Farine cafe and loved it. Cozy, welcoming space and everything we tried was delicious. Smoked salmon in a challah roll, tuna salad in a baguette, croissant, chocolate chip cookie, plus hot chocolate and an iced chai latte were all great. The Éphémère pavlova (crisp meringue with rose chantilly and rhubarb compote) was our personal favorite. Definitely worth a visit we’ll be back.
I stopped by this place in the morning for breakfast, and I have to say, I loved the hot chocolate. It truly tastes like hot chocolate from France (which makes sense since it’s a French café). I’m very picky about hot chocolate, and this one was rich, smooth, and the sugar was just right. I also ordered the tuna baguette, and omg… it was so good. Honestly, it might be my favorite item. I tried a few pastries too, and the apple tart was delicious. I also had the caramelized chocolate and the almond chocolate croissant, and both were really good as well. It’s also a great spot to meet friends for breakfast or bring your laptop and get some work done since there’s plenty of seating. The service was very nice, and they even bring your food to you when it’s ready. I’ll definitely be going back.
I walked into this café because I was drawn to its beautiful aesthetic, and I couldn’t have made a better choice. The pastries were freshly baked and absolutely delicious, and the whole place is filled with natural light and lovely details. It has such a calm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay for a while. My favs: Dulcey Cafe Cylinder and Paris Brest 🥐 A true hidden gem on the Upper West Side!🤍
I had a memorable visit To this cutesy Parisian inspired café! they had lots of authentic breads and treats, as well as coffee and even savory sandwich options. my favorite was the mozzarella on sourdough sandwich!! I also opted for the peppermint, hot chocolate since it was around the holiday season it paired well with my pistachio bread and sweet apple pastry. I will definitely visit this place again. I even left with treats for my grandmother and uncles (croissants and giant chocolate chip cookies) They said everything was 10/10 as well!! Please make it your business to stop by. and They had a really nice bathroom!
My favorite coffee spot in the city 🥹🙌🏽 Their coffee is always so good, one of the best I’ve had in NYC!! We got the smoked salmon sandwich (my fav) and mozzarella pesto sandwich and they were literally stuffed with filling, and for dessert we tried the basil & lime éclair and the apple tart, and both were insanely good. There’s 2 floors, enough tables and cozy atmosphere, also there’s always clean (and they have a restroom, which is a plus). 10/10, definitely recommend u guys!
I visited on a busy Tuesday and enjoyed truly one of the best cafe experiences on the Upper West Side. From the moment you walk in, the bright and gorgeous entrance welcomes you as you watch the chefs in the open air kitchen creating masterpieces aka pastries and savory sandwiches. The upstairs seating area is an ideal spot for people watching and yet still quiet and cozy to enjoy coffee and conversation with a friend. The egg sandwich was a standout. It’s my new favorite egg sandwich in the city, and will absolutely be back to have it again and again. We had such a lovely morning and so happy to have La Farine in the neighborhood.
This cafe is a Parisian escape in NYC. Super cute aesthetics and vibes. It’s spacious with seating area. I loved the lox sandwich, which was super fresh and delicious. You can also watch them make fresh breads live. It’s a nice spot to hangout, WFH or just a solo date. The architecture is beautiful especially the lighting and the big chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Also all of their pastries were vegetarian, which I loved!
Such a great find! This bakery is so spacious and bright with a decent amount of seating on the second floor. Truly the perfect place to grab a coffee and pastry, catch up with friends, solo date, or get some work done. My favorite bite was definitely the smoked Gouda and butternut squash quiche- this is probably the best which I’ve ever had in the city. The chocolate chip cookie was also a favorite. We decided to pick up an olive sourdough loaf for home and thought it was so chewy and tasty as well.
A cute little French bakery on the Upper West Side! Love that the baked goods are made fresh each day. The baguettes in particular were so good. I bought some to take home and even a few days later I put them in the microwave and they were so soft! I tried some savory and sweet items and everything was so good! It does get super busy after 8:30am, so go early if you want to enjoy some quiet time. Also love that it’s dog friendly!
I loved my experience at La Farine! The cafe is very cute, there are so many unique pastries! My personal favorite was the filled doughnuts- there are flavors such as nutella, marmalade, and cherry. The apple tarts are delicious, and the holiday special croissant was so tasty and adorable. The sandwiches all are so fresh and delicious! I’ll definitely be back! <3
Absolutely love this place! It was so cute and cozy and decorated for Fall when I went. The people working there were also so sweet! My favorites were the tomato tart (it had cheese and was reminiscent of pizza, so good) and the egg sandwich. I was a little unsure about the asparagus on it, but it actually went so well and packed so much flavor! They have a ton of coffee drinks and teas, and the sweet pastries were amazing as well. They have a ton of seating so it’s a great place to have a relaxing breakfast or lunch!
La Farine is such a cute addition to the UWS! I got to try some savory and sweet treats, and the quality was amazing. My favorite was the white chocolate and pistachio babka and the mushroom quiche. 😋 also, the place was packed! So many people hanging out and having conversations or reading a book made for a nice atmosphere.
Stepping inside felt like walking straight into a little Parisian hideaway in the Upper West Side The prettiest boutique French bakery vibes, the coziest seating, and the sweetest sound of everyone chatting while snow falls outside…🤍 We ordered: 🥪 Scrambled egg sandwich 🥯 Smoked salmon in challah roll 🍐 Tarte Bourdaloue 🥐 Speculoos croissant 🍪 Caramelized hazelnut cookie ☕️ Mocha & a perfectly balanced cortado Sweet, savory, flaky, chocolatey… zero misses. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee run or staying for a slow snow day treat, this spot is it 👌 Saving this cozy café for every winter day in NYC!
★★★★★ La Farine Pâtisserie et Café is such a beautiful little French café on the Upper West Side. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and perfect for a slow coffee and pastry moment. Everything felt very Parisian, from the presentation to the flavors. I tried their pastries and coffee, and they were absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully made. The space itself is minimal, cozy, and ideal whether you want a quiet morning, a quick coffee stop, or a relaxed catch-up. The team was warm and welcoming, which made the experience even more special. Thank you for having me, I truly enjoyed every bite and the overall ambiance. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a chic French café experience in NYC. ☕🥐
Absolutely loved it here! The sandwiches and pastries were good, no surprise there, but I was so pleasantly surprised by the drinks. I didn’t expect to love them as much as I did, and honestly… I’m craving them as I type this. From the refreshing mountain berry tea to the mint tea, none of the drinks were too sweet or overpowering. Especially since I usually dislike mint, this was such a wonderful surprise. I will say, it is such a beautiful space, and because people really love it, it does tend to fill up. There may be a bit of a wait time for seating, but it’s honestly understandable given the atmosphere. I do agree with some other comments I’ve seen that the croissant could definitely be softer, and a few bread edges were a bit hard to bite into. However, this wasn’t an issue for me, more so just constructive feedback. What truly won me over, though, wasn’t even the wonderful food or drinks; it was the hospitality. Absolutely unmatched. The staff is genuinely lovely: so kind, welcoming, and clearly happy to be there. They make you feel comfortable right away, especially in a new environment. The energy is radiant, warm, and unforgettable. Can’t wait to come back ✨
La Farine is a lovely cafe on the Upper West Side with so many freshly baked pastries and delicious coffee. It’s a good spot to grab a few treats to-go and perhaps sit in the park nearby, but there is also an upstairs seating area for chatting and some people doing work as well. The staff were very friendly and everything was served quickly. Would definitely come back for another visit if I was nearby!
My experience at La Farine was great. I really enjoyed their chai tea, and the pumpkin spice Latte was a great pick me up. The Tuna salad was my favorite sandwich, and the chocolate beignets and speculoos croissant is highlyyyyy recommended. Depending on the time it may be hard to get seating but the balcony seating is great !
La Farine Pâtisserie is an nyc coffee lovers dream place! Everything is so cute, cozy and inviting! Love that there's two floors- perfect for a coffee date, a study sesssion or even just a quick bite! Everything I tasted was so yummy! I love when a place looks good and has good quality food! I will be back for more! Especially those chocolate chip cookies!
I stopped by La Farine on the Upper West Side and instantly fell in love with the cozy vibe and the smell of freshly baked pastries. Everything feels so authentic — from the buttery croissants to the perfect coffee. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and enjoy your breakfast or lunch. My favorites were the almond croissant and the tuna salad in baguette — both absolutely delicious. Definitely one of the best bakeries and coffee spots in the neighborhood.
The mozzarella on sourdough was my favorite! It was so fresh and clean. I loved the atmosphere so much it reminded me of Europe and the staff and service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and service was quick. There was also plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. I loved the little nooks of the place it felt so cozy and elegant.
Nice cafe. I can use casual sometimes studying. Coffee is good, beans from Sweetleaf. Love it. Bake good are amazing, croissant good, sandwich also beautiful taste! I love omelet sandwiches, they taste truffle and a pinch of sour. Every food is good but needs to spend money. I paid around $40 for two sandwiches and two drinks. Recently normally in Manhattan. Good cafe staff, they are very friendly! Restroom always clean.
Have tried all their croissants and the almond croissant (without chocolate) really stood out as my favorite — perfectly flaky with moist almond paste and subtle almond aroma. The babka (dark chocolate and white chocolate pistachio) are great too (equally good as Bread’s IMO), really rich in flavor. I found the dark chocolate one to be on the sweeter and denser side. Have also tried their smoked salmon challah and pesto mozzarella sandwiches. However, I can’t say I’m a fan — the challah bread was dry and the bread for the pesto mozzarella was too hard to bite. Vibe is one of the best in NYC coffee shops, but gets crowded on the weekends with seats being hard to secure.
This is a cute, quiet French bakery in the UWS. I took some time away from the kids and while walking in the city the smell instantly drove me in. The food was fresh and tasty. My favorite was the mozzarella sandwich and the Paris Brest pastry. All the desserts were not overly sweet which was just right for my taste. This is a great coffee spot or if you want some time alone.
Such a hidden gem! La Farine Café has the cutest interior. It’s cozy, modern, and perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The upstairs area is super spacious and makes a great spot to get some work done or catch up with a friend. I tried their smoked salmon in a challah roll, quiche, and pastries, and everything tasted so fresh and flavorful. The drinks were also amazing. They use real pumpkin in their pumpkin spice latte. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re looking for a cozy café with great food and a calm vibe. Can’t wait to come back!
