We came around 9:30 on a Sunday night and it wasn’t crowded. We had front row views to the Empire Stage Building. It wasn’t a packed rooftop bar where you have to look over people to catch see the city lights. It was a chill vibe with great music. It’s a great place to meet a group of friends in their lounge area as well as a romantic date. I ordered the Machu Pisco which was great!!! It was worth the $18 - they put a New York design of the Manhattan skyline on my drink. I would say this is a great low key gem on Sunday night. Big plus - the bathroom was clean

Decent place for a drink with a nice view of the Empire State Building! Came on a Saturday night and was lucky to get a table for 6—very chill vibe here, the place is pretty small. Drinks wise, they were fine and service was good. They also have TVs so we could watch the football games.

Very cool rooftop bar! We met my folks for some anniversary drinks and it was a cool place. Drinks are expensive in my opinion. But I get that it’s in the middle of Manhattan, so it ain’t cheap. There is an incredible view of the Empire State Building that alone might be worth visiting.

Great views of the city, fabulous staff and good cocktails. Bartender Oscar is amazingly friendly and served up a great cocktail called the Oscar.

The rooftop was small but pretty, perfect for a rainy night and some quick drinks before a show at msg. We opted to sit at the bar, as we figured we would watch the bartenders make craft drinks.What we did watch was was the exact opposite...We ordered two drinks 1 which was an old fashioned,1st the the bartender was smelling a bottle he grabbed from behind him then said I can't make it , the syrup is bad.Then we said we asked for a an old fashioned with makers you can't make that? Then he did. He used a cup full of ice cups ( which was strange as usually you use a single big cube for the drink) then we asked the other bartender if he could drain it and switch to a single cube. He proceeded to put 1 little ice cube in a glass ( again not the normal big old fashioned cube) then when asked he changed changed it. We go out very often and enjoy the art of making drinks. We didn't expect to have only 1drink there but clearly we did...Will I go back.No, too many other intimate rooftops to try.

We decided to check out the bar and the view before our dinner reservations. I had my typical and MMC tried something called the gin-gin. My whiskey was good, a solid pour and one large rock. We also tried the sliders. It took about 15 minutes to get them and when they arrived they were cold. I also searched and searched for the meat but could not find much. The sliders were mostly bread and shredded lettuce. There was an amazing sauce but certainly not worth the price. The view is directly opposite the Empire State Building. I guess you have to pay something for the view. The view was spectacular. The bar was also packed with baby carriages so if your ideal evening event comes with expansive drinks, overpriced food, and baby carriages the strand is for you. Our waitress was fantastic, very friendly and informative.

The drinks weren’t any good. We had a cheese and charcuterie-to-be table; the food wasn’t fresh at all. Prices are pretty high, we spent almost 100 for two and we only had one drink each and that poor table. The best thing of the place is the view of the Empire State, but you couldn’t see anything because it was full of scaffolds (and believe me, the Empire State is huge). We really don’t recommend the place.

Nice waiter but you have to get your own tap water. Why leave a 20% tip then? Vodka martini average. Didn't ask for a dirty martini but got one with bits floating in it. Not very enticing. Olive looked like it had been chewed. Great view but not sure it is worth the price.

Superb view on the Empire State Building… but that’s it! Not many Cocktails choices, very basic and tiny … disappointing…
