To begin , Corey was a great server . He was very informative about the meals and very attentive. The food was great , definitely my parties favorite on the whole island after trying so many restaurants.

I wanted steak for our anniversary dinner, my wife chose Azar and they did not disappoint. Service was amazing, food was excellent. All the couples around us were also having a great experience. We will be back and any of our friends who travel to Aruba we tell them they have to go to Azar.

Outstanding. Family of four with an early reservation. Loved the atmosphere, servers, management, food, drinks, dessert - everything. This place shines as an example for all restaurants in Aruba to strive for.

This was one of the best meals we’ve had in 2025, and we’ve traveled a ton this year. We had a mix of appetizers and dessert, and everything continued to exceed our expectations. The service was incredible and everyone was kind and welcoming.

Nice place good atmosphere. The staff is great. The food was delicious. Small portions like everywhere else in Aruba, but actually my Picania was just about enough. My wife shared her sea bass with me and that was delicious as well. Kids had Mac and cheese and were very happy. Make sure you get the Carajillo!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Azar is easily one of my top five restaurants in Aruba! The place is absolutely awesome — from the stylish décor to the warm, friendly management and staff, they make you feel right at home. The food here is next-level. Some must-try dishes: For apps the chicken croquettes and Grilled scallops are my 2 favorites. The Azar Burger what might be the best burger on the entire island with Bacon jam, Cambozola cheese, grilled onions, pickles and French fries. The roasted chicken is hands down the best I’ve ever had, and the Watashee Rice with Argentinian chorizo is out of bounds. If you’re into prime steaks, they’ve got you covered too — always cooked to perfection. Don’t skip dessert either… the churros are a sweet finish you’ll be thinking about long after. And then there are the cocktails — some of the best in Aruba. The smoked rum old-fashioned is a masterpiece, and pairing it with a smooth Carajillo is the perfect way to wrap up the night. If you’re a foodie visiting Aruba, Azar is a must. It’s the full package: incredible food, amazing drinks, and a vibe that will keep you coming back.

Our favorite meal in Aruba thus far. We had the short rib tacos as an appetizer, small portion but incredible flavor. For dinner we had the skirt steak and chicken, both of those entrees were incredible. So much flavor, everything was very fresh. Our server Cory was wonderful throughout our meal, made great recommendations and was on top of everything. Highly recommend coming here

my favorite meal while in Aruba. We got the Chilean Sea Bass, Chicken Azar, Cauliflower, and Harissa Honey Carrots. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the sea bass. the dressing that came on the salad with the chicken Azar was also surprisingly good. It would have been nice to have the birthday noted on the reservation recognized.

This is one of the most delicious and creative meals we’ve had in Aruba. Everything was executed to perfection, from chicken to steak to seafood. The service was friendly and efficient.

My wife and I ordered burgers. I ordered the Smash Burger and my wife ordered the BBQ burger. Both burgers were phenomenal! The quality of the burgers and fries were awesome. The food came out a lot faster than expected. The food was so delicious that my wife wanted to try their wings later on in the evening. Though the wings were kinda tasty, they weren't on the level of the burgers. I do recommend this establishment if you love a good burger and fries.

Greeted immediately and friendly- GET AN EARLY SEATING- they get very busy. Shrimp appetizer was best yet on the island. The burger- and I don’t waste meals out on a typical burger- was amazing. My wife had the 1/2 broasted chicken. Best ever - name doesn’t do it justice. Salad was very tasty. One thing that is missing is a killer dessert.

Cory was a great server, super knowledgeable and very accommodating of allergies. The octopus appetizer is a must-try! Tomahawk is 100% the best on the island.

A great restaurant tucked away about .3 of a mile from the water. Everything was amazing and I really don’t have any complaints.

Food was very good here. We weren't a huge fan of the pork belly which they served but everything else was good. Steak was good exactly to our liking & The chimmichuri sauce was excellent with our steaks! The dessert was also very good! Definitely recommend trying this place out.

Absolutely 10/10 experience! This is probably the best food my husband and I have ever eaten. I would strongly recommend making a reservation before you go but we were able to sit at the bar without one. The drinks, the food, the service were all impeccable. We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip back to Aruba.

Food was fantastic! Myself and my brother in law had the half chicken , it was excellent! My brother in law thought it was one of the best chicken entree he had ever had at a restaurant. My husband and his sister also enjoyed their entrees! The service was wonderful and our waiter Elias was extremely helpful and his service was impeccable! We as a group would highly recommend

From the moment we walked into AZAR, we were impressed by the elegant atmosphere and welcoming vibe. The restaurant has a beautiful layout, great music, and an overall classy yet comfortable feel. Our waiter, Desmond, truly made the evening exceptional. He was friendly, professional, and extremely attentive without ever being intrusive. He took the time to explain the menu, offered fantastic recommendations, and made sure our glasses were never empty. His warm personality and outstanding service really elevated our dining experience. The food at AZAR was absolutely delicious — every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. You can tell the chefs use only top-quality ingredients and pay attention to every detail. From appetizers to dessert, everything was perfect. We left completely satisfied and impressed. AZAR is now one of my favorite restaurants, and I’ll definitely be coming back — especially if Desmond is our waiter again! AZAR was a wonderful dinner. Our waitress, Sindi, was so welcoming, professional, and thorough to explain the menu and offer suggestions. Being part of the same restaurant group as Lima Bistro, they clearly put forth the effort in building a staff that takes pride in their work. Every dish was delicious, with the short ribs a standout.

Fantastic experience at Azar! The smoked half chicken was amazing very flavorful. Jesus at the bar was incredible and made my last night in Aruba unforgettable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and explained both the food and cocktails perfectly. Definitely a must-visit!

Second time in Azar and it still wins the best food in our books. Between the two visits we tried harisa carrots, octopus, tuna tartar, sea bass, steak and the dessert special. Everything was delicious. It is quite pricey though depending on where you're coming from, but portions are pretty big to fill you up. Make sure to book far in advance as the place is very busy, for a reason.

Excellent food and drinks. Scallops and octopus to start. Both very delicious and tasty fish and short rib were delicious. Try the espresso martini- what great attention to detail when making a delicious cocktail! Service was attentive and well done by Julien. Great food and service.

We ate here because it was highly recommended by a friend. So glad we ate here. Sindi was very informative and attentive describing their specials and wines. We had the Short Ribs, the Branzino and the 1/2 Chicken (child) as well as the Lava Cake. Everything was delicious! My son us a lava cake connoisseur and he said this was the BEST lava cake ever. We would definitely go back again. FYI reservations are a MUST. 100% recommendations to eat at Azar Aruba.

Phenomenal dinner. Easily best restaurant we ate at in Aruba. Everything was fantastic and super flavorful. Literally even the BREAD and oil dip was elevated. We sat at the bar and Jesus was our waiter and cocktail bartender. We had the Grilled Romaine salad as an appetizer, the burger and the short ribs for dinner with yucca fries on the side and coconut creme dish for dessert. Everything was AMAZING. Each dish had so much flavor and was truly incredible. I have no notes. Best restaurant in Aruba, by far. It’s a quick walk from the main downtown area in Noord so might be hard to find, but you will not regret going here!!!

We chose this restaurant as it was off the beaten path and tourist mayhem on the strip near the high rise hotels in Palm Beach area. This is an excellent restaurant to enjoy a cozy and special dinner. The staff is excellent, well trained, and treats each visitor in a special way. Our server was Shamee and she was superb. She knew the menu in detail and had great suggestions. My wife and I were honestly impressed with the experience. The food was excellent and well presented. Well worth it!

Everyrhing was absolutely perfect! The food, service and ambiance was amazing! We tried the short ribs lettuce tacos as appetizer and grilled octopus, loved it. We had the picahna for main course and it was a perfect med rear grill and the mest was super tender. Their craft cocktails were delicious and the service at the bar was amazing. We liked it so much we never made it to a table.

One of my new favorites in Aruba. Great vibe, great food and great service. Started with the Chicharones... they were out of this world. I decided to go with the Picanha, and certainly was glad I did. Everything came out perfectly cooked with great presentation, and most of all delicious. I can't wait to come back and dine here on our next visit!

Really cool vibe, drinks and food were pretty good! The man who brought us our food seemed like he hated his life. We were very hot by the end of our meal and I used the restroom before leaving and realized the right side of the restaurant was 20 degrees cooler than where we were sitting which was a bummer!

Was a bit of a pricey restaurant; not everyone in our group felt they got the best value for their meal, but I definitely enjoyed my dinner. Food - 4/5 - I got the Peruvian chicken; as a chicken lover, I really enjoyed the seasoning and juiciness of it, not to mention how big the portion was… I think this was definitely worth its value, given its price, flavour, and the sides that came with it. I will say that some of the reviews thought this was OUTSTANDING. I’d get it again, but I wouldn’t say it’s the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life. Service - 5/5 - Our waiter was so great; he was so patient with our whole group with ordering (17 of us!) and helped accommodate our needs, even though there were so many. He also provided good recommendations for items on the menu, as well as things to do on the island, given that his family has been there for generations! Ambiance - 5/5 - A nice modern restaurant, had a nice dim atmosphere, relaxing and perfect for conversations within the group.

I tried this place and the environment is very welcoming and charming. It has a mix of inside outside with the inside of one section of the restaurant being open to the outside. So you can feel that night breeze blowing if you sit in the right place. I ordered the roasted corn with tajin this was my favorite of my meal. And I also ordered the seasonal vegetables and for dessert I tried the caramelized delight. The apples were dang near rock hard so I mainly ate around them. But the dough around them and the toppings as well as the ice cream were good . To me it tasted like a cake donut with chocolate, caramel, and it has peanuts but I couldn't taste any peanut. The veggies again had a couple pieces that were tough so I couldn't eat it. The server and other workers were kind and helpful.

I went with a group of 8, multiple members within our group mentioned that the food & drinks weren’t great and that our server was not friendly (this part sucks especially because of the One Happy Island slogan; this doesn’t reflect the rest of the islanders and staff as we generally had an abundance of experiences where people were kind). The aforementioned sucks to say because the prices at Azar were not cheap, so you would hope that if you were paying a premium that you would get a premium experience. There are places that you frequent, more for the ambiance/vibe than the food and unfortunately Azar falls in that category for us.

Azar looked so beautiful and the customer service was amazing. Everyone there was really kind and the place had a nice vibe. I personally didn’t like the food that much, especially for how much it cost. The chicken was just okay, nothing special. But the appetizer was delicious, that was the part I really enjoyed. Maybe we just didn’t get the right thing.

Unfortunately, this place did not live up to the hype or the price. The food was very average and definitely not worth what we paid. On an island with so many great restaurants, there are much better places to eat with higher quality food and a better overall experience. Service was also disappointing. The bartender had to remake my drink twice and it still wasn’t made correctly, which was frustrating given the price point. Drink were overpriced and watered down overall On top of that, we had called a week in advance to make a reservation. When we arrived just seven minutes later than our reservation time, we were told it had been canceled on OpenTable. The issue is that we never made the reservation through OpenTable and don’t even have an account. They claimed a message was sent through OpenTable, but I’m not sure who they messaged since it definitely wasn’t us. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and not worth the cost. I would recommend spending your time and money elsewhere on the island where the food and service are more consistent.

First experience at Azar was mixed. When we arrived, I requested to be inside. While they accommodated my request, I was immediately told that we must leave by 7pm to accommodate another party. This only gave us 1:30 min to enjoy our meal. So from the start it felt like I was on a time clock to eat. The acoustics are extremely poor ...because with a larger party in the middle of the restaurant (who had a screaming child) and music playing I could not enjoy or hear my other guests. Our waiter was FANTASTIC and the best part of this restaurant. The food- we ordered the scallops were good but didn't taste fresh. We had the burger, which was 100% delicious! I ordered the chillean seabas- for $50 bucks was not worth it and there was no difference in the taste from the scallops. The desserts sounded amazing but due to the time crunch with the table, we had to have dessert somewhere else. As a frequent Aruba vacationers, I will not be back and I would encourage other tourists to check out more established restaurants that have better quality for the price.
