The runner Jack is great at filling waters, the waiter remy is amazing, the waitress is great and overall a great experience. They give you plenty of water.

Excellent food and service. We went back the next day. Hard to go wrong on any item (everything we tried was very good)

Often go here for wing night on Mondays, but the rest of their menu is excellent & reasonably priced as well. Recently had them cater a birthday party for nine adults. It was perfect. Can’t get any better on Fire Island!

We came to see dualing pianos we had so much fun!! Drinks were good.. We didn't eat but have in the past and it's always been good..

Cruised over to ocean beach last night and got a table outside right away and the service was friendly and helpful with ordering. We had a really great meal food was outrageous best meal I’ve had at fire island. Shrimp appetizer was next level!! I’ll def be back

Good service, excellent food and powerful AC! I would recommend the Fira Diavolo, plenty of seafood and tasty noodles. Though the preparation was a little long but you can require them to serve you with other dishes first. (Another option is to serve you with all dishes at the same time)

This place is great. I came here with 4 of my friends and we all think the tacos were the best we’ve ever had. They were tasty and very pretty. I highly recommend!

Great, relaxed vibe and the food was amazing! I highly recommend the scallops scampi and the grilled chicken pasta entrees, which are huge. A must if you’re anywhere around Ocean Beach

Wonderful place, delicious food, and AMAZING staff. I planned a graduation dinner for family and friends and the amazing staff at Castaway set up a table for 23 people and put together a celebratory ice cream cake for the occasion. Everything was perfect from start to finish. Special thanks to Jon, Kaila and the young man who took our orders (I didn’t get his name but he was fabulous). We were a large party but the service was impeccable. Highly recommend the Calamari, Burrata, Chicken Sandwich and Mahi Mahi. Looking forward to returning!

Pretty good! Surly staff but good at their job so heck it. Food wasnt bad either. Way better than Albatros that's for sure, and on this tiny tourist trap of an island your options are extremely limited

The only place to get a descent meal after the season ends. It still closes for a few months during the coldest months (Dec, Jan, Feb) but it continues to serve great dishes & specials from the end of summer, until then.

Pretty good food that wasnt expensive. Clams casino and calamari were pretty good and the Skirt steak dinner was pretty tasty. Also have a decent happy hour drink special

The food is good but the chef LOVES pepper. I’ve been here twice, ordered a chicken pasta in 2021 and mahi mahi sandwich in 2022 (the menu changes so that’s a fun surprise 😄👍🏽) and both times the food was peppered to all hell. Chef thinks you can only blacken/char the food if you cover every inch with black pepper. The food was still good but please do a little less with the black pepper chef 🙏🏽. Much love

The food is good but the chef LOVES pepper. I’ve been here twice, ordered a chicken pasta in 2021 and mahi mahi sandwich in 2022 (the menu changes so that’s a fun surprise 😄👍🏽) and both times the food was peppered to all hell. Chef thinks you can only blacken/char the food if you cover every inch with black pepper. The food was still good but please do a little less with the black pepper chef 🙏🏽. Much love

The burgers buns were burnt on the sides and the meat was definitely cooked a bit longer than medium which is what was ordered. However, I would recommend ordering the Mahi sandwich as it was very delicious and fresh. The downside of the meal were the fries because they were extremely salty. The amount of salt affected the taste of the burger/sandwich was unpleasant. I would recommend ordering the fries without salt.

Just got a burger, nothing out of the ordinary stood out on the menu. But all in all its a nice clean place, that allows casual clothing. Just wish the staff payed more attention to its patrons. Had to hunt her down numerous times for more drinks, napkins, check etc.

Food was super dry. Grandparents couldnt eat what they had ordered. This tropical buddah bowl was extremely dry. Shrimp was tasteless. A waste of $22. Waiter was alright. Only spoke with us when we got upset.

nik p the server should be fired, sucks at his job got my order wrong charged me INSIDE then chased me out says i havent paid i pay again thinking its a mistake few hours go by and i log into my bank and i have two charges turns out i did he just cant do his job right!!

horrible. it took two hours for the food to come out. and when we tasted the food it was not editable. EXTREMELY overpriced and i am very disappointed. never again.

The waiter asked ‘why only 11% tip…’ Maybe because I left some undercooked calamari on the table that nobody ever bothered to take away or ask how they were. Maybe because the calamari strangely also contained some charred fries but no lemon. Maybe because I left 1/2 of a red wine that had some cork and was barely drinkable and nobody bothered to ask if it was ok. Maybe because it took 30 min before I got a glass of water that was never refilled. Maybe because the pork belly main was missing all the advertised vegetables. Maybe because I had to walk to the counter to pay my bill because nobody asked if I like a dessert or how I liked my meal. 11% was generous if you ask me….

Don’t waste your time or money. From the minute we walked into the place the staff was rude from bartender to the hostess. We were a party of 8. We waited 2 hours for our food and when it did come it came 2 dishes at a time. The food was not even worth the wait! Maybe if you are a smaller party you will have better experience.

The food literally took an hour and a half to come and it’s overpriced. Was very cold and music loud and dark ambiance. Could not see a thing. ADDING ON, they include the tip in ur price which was undeserved. The food was heavily salted and DONT GET THE FINGERLING POTATIS. music was chill tho.

Avoid this restaurant. We waited a half hour for a salad. After we waited another 35 minutes for our main course that never arrive we had to leave. The staff had no apologies for the delay.
