We had a wonderful dining experience! Samantha and Josiah were absolutely amazing — attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. They made sure everything was perfect and created such a warm, enjoyable atmosphere. The bartender also went above and beyond by making me a special drink, which was fantastic and really made the night feel extra special. The food was great, but the outstanding service from the entire team truly stood out. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!
Great food and vibe. Staff was very friendly and on point. The pork belly, blue crab beignets and shrimp were a great start. The Mongolian Barbecued Pirk Tomahawk, and 18 Oz bone in ribeye were great main courses, tender and tasty. Save room for the dessert!! Apple caramel cheese cake, key lime pie, tiramisu, and passion fruit creme brulee' were the only ones we tried and all were delicious!
We had a great experience at Norman's while we were visiting Orlando. Centrally located, fun but sophisticated vibes, amazingly attentive staff, and unique dishes. Members of my party highly recommended the braised pork belly. The fried green tomatoes were great too. Honestly, the tapas were better than the main plates, but I enjoyed the grouper. The scallops were great but the veggies and emulsion that came with the scallops were too salty and quite mediocre. In any case, still highly recommend, especially outdoor terrace seating! Love the ambience.
We had the pleasure of celebrating my birthday with Norman’s amazing crew. Firstly, shout out to Ian for not only providing me with the dinner service of my foodie-dreams, but also for truly being a shining star at Norman’s and making my birthday dinner special. We started with drinks and small bites. Highly recommend the fried green tomato and the crab beneights. For our main entrees, we had the Key West Snapper and The Scallops. Both dishes superseded expectations. It was the best seared scallop dish, I’ve had the pleasure of eating. From cooking techniques, to the sauces, both dishes were wholesome, rich, and flavorful. The coconut/mango rice pudding and the key lime pie both are desserts that also make the meal come full circle. Ian and the other amazing team members make this experience what it is; from Jayden keeping our waters full, to the bartenders crafting specialty cocktails for our neighboring table that their serve kindly placed an order for us to try the drink, as well, every person here is truly a kind and memorable part of your experience at Norman’s. Don’t skip this amazing spot!
My wife and I, along with two other friends went on a double date last night to Norman’s and had a really great time! Despite some unforeseen challenges, our bartender/waiter John was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and all around awesome. From the moment you walk up to Norman’s, you can see how beautiful of an establishment it is. Inside is even more beautiful. I enjoyed 2 or 3 of the “MY DOWN ISLAND OLD FASHIONED” and shared the rack of lamb, wagyu NY strip, asparagus, truffle fries, and some starters with my wife. My wife enjoyed a few drinks too. Overall, we were impressed with Norman’s - Orlando and will be back sometime in the future.
It's difficult to find the words for how much we enjoyed our anniversary dinner at Norman's. The staff was delightful, the ambiance and surroundings were beautiful, but of course, most of all, the food was amazing! It was our 28th anniversary and it could not have been more romantic and delicious! We did order a wonderful bacon ice cream dessert, but they also gave us some sorbet with a candle that added to the experience. Our server, Andreas, was right there like magic as soon as we needed anything. We had standard drinks, martini and old fashioned, but their list of custom drinks was unique and looked delicious. It seemed like a simple thing to cut fresh rosemary into the olive oil for our bread, but the flavor from the rosemary was so distinctive and made the experience very special! And if you are more on the carnivore side, like we are, then, you must try the bone marrow appetizer! I can see annual visits to Normans on future anniversaries and other special occasions as well!
We’ve been to Norman’s a few times now and every time it’s been great. This year we chose Norman’s for our 11 year wedding anniversary and our server, Johnny, provided such an excellent experience for us I really had to write an official review! First, they went out of their way to make it feel special for our anniversary. Even the menu had a cute little nod to our anniversary celebration on it! The food changes seasonally and is always good - this time I got the grouper and it was probably one of my favorite meals of the year. The little spinach filled pasta that comes with it was incredible! My husband got the filet which is always cooked perfectly. We also got the potato croquette tapa.. one each is enough for us, they are deceptively filling and really good. For dessert I got the sticky rice pudding which has tropical fruits and is a really unique flavor overall. My husband got the pumpkin spice latte dessert which I got to taste and can confirm - it was also amazing! Oh and also if you aren’t big on alcohol like we are the zero proof offerings are really refreshing. An incredible time from start to finish.. 5 stars for the food, ambience, and Johnny!
I went to Norman's for the first time yesterday with my parents and my sister to celebrate my birthday! The service here was absolutely top notch. Everyone was dressed so professionally and carried themselves so elegantly. I love the atmosphere here. The food was amazing, medium filet mignon perfect temp and tender, lobster mac and cheese was so good, and the scallops are definitely on my list to get next trip! I can't wait to come back, thank you for unforgettable top notch service.
We had an amazing time at this place. We rented a private room that had all of us there and we had a similar, one of a kind appetizers. Our main meal was also amazing, almost every food on that main meal option. Everybody had a really good feedback on. The service was also great. They were on time and very attentive to our needs considering we were a group of14 people highly recommended.
I visited Norman’s Orlando for Magical Dining and it was truly an unforgettable experience. To start, I ordered their Brazilian Styled Conch Chowder, a rich and flavorful bisque-like soup with saffron, orange, star anise, and coconut milk. It was silky, aromatic, and the perfect opening to the meal. For my entrée, I had the Pan-Cooked Filet of Key West Yellowtail served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The fish was cooked beautifully, flaky and tender, and paired perfectly with the sides. For dessert, the Banana Foster was the ultimate indulgence; sweet, decadent, and the perfect finale to the evening. I also enjoyed their happy hour margaritas, and I have to say, they were some of the best I’ve had in Orlando. Refreshing, balanced, and so good I couldn’t resist having more than one. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the night feel special from start to finish. Norman’s exceeded my expectations, and I’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy fine dining in Orlando.
Really fun food I got the prix fixe menu, and the waiter's suggestions were spot on. I enjoyed and was entertained by all 3 courses. Getting the wine pairing amplified the experience further to the point of luxery, where Matt the Sommelier picked and explained wines that truly paired well with each dish I'll definitely return!
Beautiful service definitely 5-star! They hosted our little party well and treated our young undergrad guests from Harvard and up north well! Pricing is reasonable. Defo a must-go restaurant in Orlando!
Typically we go to Eddie Vs for steak but saw Norman’s was added to the Sapphire Tables so my wife and I decided to give it a try. This is our new steak place. Cooked absolutely perfectly. Seasoned perfectly. The whole experience seemed like a well orchestrated dance with the staff. If you’re a steak person this is much better than comparable places in the area. Tomahawk is WELL marbled so if you like that get it. Pictures are filet and ribeye.
An incredible restaurant -- definitely one if the best in Orlando! Exceptional ingredients, memorable dishes, lots of flavor and great portions sizes! A very affordable prix-fixe menu that's perfect for a date night!
Let's start with the atmosphere. It was absolutely stunning. From the elegant lighting and decor, to the perfect dining set up. This place will make you feel beautiful. The food was pure perfection. We did the Magical Dining option and it did not disappoint. Let's get to my favorite part. The staff. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, the service was outstanding. I was secretly given a happy birthday menu, which most restaurants do not have. It was very thoughtful and made me feel special. The multiple servers we had were all amazing with wonderful attitudes and personalities. We also had the privilege to talk with the manager who was also kind and sweet. This is the place you want to spend your hard earned money. I will definitely be returning. Thank you again to everyone!

Norman’s is my absolute favorite! Amazing food and gorgeous ambiance! Stunning back patio & bar area. Perfect for date night or girls night. Recently went with friends and ate in the bar area & have to say that Norman’s has the friendliest staff around. Very attentive and just genuinely super nice. Mario (Mgr) went above and beyond, Nick was great and I wish I could remember everyone’s name so I could just commend them all. ❤️
Came for magical dining. Was a great experience , service was amazing , food was great , attention to detail from staff was on point. Only thing that I may be picky about was the Haitian grits in the Havana Pork dish were a bit dry but not sure if designed that way to absorb sauce in dish or if maybe an off day in the kitchen. The conch chowder is some of the better ones I’ve had in my life. Also bonus points for the introductory dish of truffle mousse amuse bouche app.
Norman’s Orlando delivers a refined dining experience that blends elevated ambiance with culinary artistry. The evening began with warm bread accompanied by a vibrant EVOO. The pork belly appetizer was a standout, perfectly balanced in texture and taste. The filet mignon was exceptional: tender, deeply flavorful, and expertly prepared. The modern setting and attentive service enhanced the experience, while the wine selection impressed with its thoughtful curation. To finish, the seasonal pumpkin spice latte dessert offered a creative twist, which was unexpected yet intriguing. A memorable evening worth savoring.
We have been to Norman's several times in the past and it's always a special experience. The service is impeccable and special and our visit was no exception. We sat in the bar area to take advantage of happy hour and Asher was attentive without being intrusive. He has served us before! I was chilly so I was offered a shawl to borrow - what a nice touch! We opted for a few mocktails and cocktails - the ingredients they use are so creative, unique and tasty. Each was simply delicious. We ordered the beignets, raw oysters, fish & chips and the steak tataki appetizers. Again, just delicious. The steak was really small even for the happy hour pricing. The beignets were full of crab and the fish and chips, a nice portion for the price. One of our faves. This was filling for me but my husband wanted to get the bread trio (3 types of bruschetta) and beef tartare with plantain chips off the main menu. Both great again but the bread trio was most surprising and a definite order for next time! We also had the bread basket and amuse bouche to end the meal.
Great food with service hiccups: (where’s that bread?) The good: Branzino and Oysters were fantastic, my bartender poured a great espresso martini The not-so-good: bread service wasn’t given with the appetizer nor main, had to be requested. Oysters were ordered as a dozen, only got a half dozen. Another half dozen were served after letting staff know. Had the artisanal cheese plate, which says is served with sourdough. No bread was served, and when I let staff know again, they brought out a crunchy lavash bread. Definitely worth a stop for the fish though!
Dined at Norman's on their patio for the last of our 12 Magical Dining outings this year. Patio seating was a great choice since the Florida evening temps are finally enjoyable and it is very, very nice out there with well-spaced tables. Since it is situated high above the street and parking lot, you only see palm tree tops swaying in the breeze around the perimeter. Our server Michael was vey welcoming and attentive w/o being overbearing. We loved the fried green tomato appetizer with it's thick meaty slices in a thin, crispy batter. They were out of the Pork Havana but my dining companion loved the Key West Yellowtail Snapper with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus; It was not the most attractive dish but he said it was perfectly cooked. I opted for the Vegetarian Valencian Paella. It was plated beautifully and quite tasty, though they broke the rule about not putting anything inedible on the plate (in this case the stem of a bunch of cherry tomatoes... artistically placed but difficult to eat around without using your fingers.. also the lower stems of the artichokes were much too woody to eat). I guess vegetarian paella is too wet for soccarat the lack of which was another disappointment. For dessert, the key lime pie was very good... not too sweet or too tart, though the piece of decorative "glass" on top was sticky enough to make us worry it might pull off a crown (is it a melted Jolly Rancher?). The other dessert we had was Havana Bananas; It was interesting with individual components that were delicious on their own but did not quite go together. A few minor missteps in the kitchen but service and ambiance were impeccable.

Where do you even start? The drinks were amazing! We came for magical dining and there was no disappointment there! The food was sooo good! I had chower for appetizer, paella with scallops for entree, and havana banana for desert. The havana banana was like heaven! Who knew banana bread could be paired so deliciously! The hostess and front staff were very kind. A group of 4 had somehow taken our table I had reserved for our dinner which was an hightop. But nonetheless we got a comfy booth to enjoy our dinner. Service was nice but a lot. We had our waiter and a specialist in wine help our table along with a few other floor staff. Our only problem was that the staff were not as on point with what kind of water to refill us with. We kept having to ask for the right water because they kept mixing it up with regular water. Now not normally a problem but when given an option I would like the entire team to be on the same page. Overall, beautiful atmosphere to dine in! Would definitely come back again when we come into town!
Family or 6 had the 3 course meal. Started with one small bread and a good start with the chowder soup 8/10, and the pork option looked promising with beautiful presentation but attempt at mole was not too good. Pork looked nice and juicy but it lacked tenderness and juiciness. Fish was smooth with creamy smashed potatoes. The chocolate banana dessert was great 9/10. Overall, disappointed with the pork main entree and service. We ware set next to the kitchen so it was hard to enjoy the atmosphere in that area. Would come back to review and have to have a better experience.

I had high expectations for Norman’s, especially since we were celebrating our anniversary, but unfortunately the experience was disappointing. We had a 7:15 PM reservation and were seated on time, however it took about 30 minutes just to receive our drinks. Our server did not take our food order until around the same time, which immediately set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food runner was very helpful, he was the only one there for us. Once the food arrived, the service continued to fall short. Our table was rarely checked on, and we felt largely forgotten throughout the meal. For a restaurant at this price point, the lack of attentiveness was frustrating and unacceptable. The food itself did not make up for the service. The short rib had no flavor and had to be sent back. The Brazilian chowder was just okay, nothing memorable. The only standout of the night was the key lime pie, which was genuinely good and the highlight of the meal. The ambiance was fine but nothing special, certainly not enough to offset the overall experience. Between the slow and inattentive service, bland food, and high prices, it did not feel worth it. We ended up leaving around 9:30 PM and did not feel that the evening matched the occasion we were celebrating. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we were hoping for, and we will not be returning.
Came here with high expectations, took my pregnant wife for a little date before she gives birth but left with a meh feeling overall. You pay high end prices you would expect high end experience. Pros: -We were seated pretty quickly and place looked nice -Appetizers were good (pork belly and yucca shrimp) -Sides were good (lobster mac and cheese, truffle fries) Cons: -Main courses were disappointing! (Chicken was ok but that $115 Wagyu NY Steak was bad. It was cooked perfectly but it had a rubber chewie consistency. I repeat do not waste your money on that I’ve had better steak at outback) or go to Christners.. their NY Strip is legit and you end up feeling like it was worth what you paid! The sides it came with was actually better than actual steak. -Service started out like it would be good but ended up being underwhelming. They all seemed to be too busy, server kept saying he’s coming to refill but would forget to take care of other things and on the third time actually remembered. Overall felt just like we were left to survive in a corner. We would wait what felt like 15-20 mins for them to come and check on us and then between appetizers and main course was like a 30 min wait.. Overall, to come here and drop almost $300 on what was supposed to be a cute little date with the pregnant wife, have a crappy steak and underwhelming service is not something I would brag to friends about. I would def not recommend it. But maybe you’ll have a different experience.
Everything about our dining experience at Norman’s was deeply disappointing. I would not recommend spending your time or money at this establishment. We made a reservation several weeks in advance for dinner on Christmas Eve. Upon arrival, we were surprised to learn that the regular menu was unavailable and that the restaurant was offering only a fixed Christmas Eve menu with very limited appetizer and entrée selections. This was never communicated to us ahead of time. While we were informed of the cancellation and dress code policies, there was no mention of a restricted menu, which was particularly frustrating given that we had planned our visit in advance. We arrived early and sat at the bar for happy hour, where the bartenders were truly the highlight of the evening. They were attentive, kind, and efficient—easily the saving grace of this experience. Unfortunately, once we were seated in the dining room, the service declined significantly. Our server, Chris, was brief and abrupt, which we understood given how busy the evening was. However, after the initial greeting and the delivery of our entrées, we received little to no further attention. We waited an excessive amount of time just to request our check and genuinely felt forgotten. The lack of attentiveness extended beyond our table. When I visited the restroom during dinner service, there were no paper towels available, which further reinforced the sense that basic details and guest needs were being overlooked throughout the evening, an unfortunate but telling indicator of the subpar service overall. We ordered the prime rib special and the yellowtail snapper with miso-glazed mushrooms. Both dishes were extremely underwhelming. The prime rib, which we were told would be cooked medium-rare, arrived closer to medium and lacked flavor. The yellowtail snapper was dry and bland. Ironically, the miso-glazed mushrooms were the most enjoyable part of the meal and the only item with any real depth of flavor. It was surprising—and disappointing—that the service at the bar far surpassed the service in the dining room. Given Norman’s reputation as a fine-dining establishment, this experience missed the mark in every way. In a city like Orlando, there are countless restaurants that offer superior food, service, and overall value. Unfortunately, Norman’s was not one of them. ***UPDATE: I attempted to email Norman’s at the email they provided in their reply and they don’t accept emails outside their organization… This establishment is truly frustrating with the utmost horrible customer service!***
