Fresh kolaches and donuts! They stuff their boudin kolaches full! It’s my favorite so far in austin! And the bread is flaky, kind of croissant-texture like. And very warm, and friendly service. Highly recommend! I will Be coming back!

Found this gem while on vacation. The atmosphere was upbeat and vibrant orange and yellow. The whole place felt ‘happy’. They had a good selection of donuts, kolaches, and breakfast sandwiches. They also had an impressive selection of boba teas and smoothies. The service was fast and friendly and the food was delicious. Prices were pretty good as well.

We’ve always had good experience here. Quality and customer service is outstanding. They definitely have more options when it comes donuts than kolaches, but that makes sense. They also have a variety of options for bobas. We have also gotten free donut holes from time to time.

Best boba flavors ever they have honeydew on lockdown and you can make it a slushy, staff is ALWAYS kind and welcoming, fair prices foood is amazing & don’t get me started on how good the donuts are 11/10 this place really is the best and quickest!

This is my new favorite doughnut shop. The apple fritters look the way an apple fritter should. Not like a burned blob. I ordered the kolaches for the first time today, and my jaw dropped at the size. Hadn't looked at previous pictures. You definitely get your money's worth! Service is wonderful. I ordered delivery through Uber Eats, and they were out of something i had ordered, but they made up for it very well. Saved to my favorite places on Google Maps.

I come here all the time as it's in the neighborhood I frequent and the staff is friendly and the prices are fair. It's easy to find in the the gas station parking lot and plenty of parking. The food is always good too. I usually get donuts, kolaches, breakfast tacos, and croissant egg sandwich with bacon or sausage. The food is always consistent in flavor. I order here so much that everyone now and then they do forget something or mess up the order nothing too crazy. The food and donuts are already made for the most part. They sometimes will throw in extra donuts so it offsets for the, the occasional mess ups for me. However on a large order I would definitely double check everything. It's a 5 star review because the few times they have messed up they went above and beyond and fixed it immediately and apologized. I really appreciate them for that. The donuts are sweet and fresh, the kolaches are good. I believe I've tried all of them. The breakfast tacos are good i really like the sausage egg and cheese croissant that my favorite. I definitely recommend Smiling Donuts for as a top notch breakfast spot. The customer service is exceptional! However, I'll always be back here for more, because of the friendly service, good food and early hours!

Friendly folks! Apple fritters LOOK mundane, but taste among the best. Kolache’s were more croissant-like bread which was refreshing. VERY tasty indeed. They had a boudin sausage variety that was SO much better than the generic donut-store sausage. Wow! Several options for boba tea competently made. Not Teapioca, but perfectly fine. All in all terrific!

Very delicious! My fav is the blueberry cake donuts! These donuts are (in my opinion) just sweet enough and have a balanced batter ratio that allows for not a overly soft donut.

I love how their shelves are always full, and most importantly they are open when they say that they are open. I drive past fresh donuts in Pflugerville/blackhawk, just to visit this location instead. Thank you! Also, will add that every time I go here prices are the same, no hidden charges! I feel as if I walk out with double the amount of donuts than had I gone somewhere else.

The staff here is always so sweet, and their bubble tea and donuts are delicious! I especially love the coconut bubble tea, it’s my go-to. They’re also incredibly generous; so often they’ll give us extra donuts just because. Such a lovely place with great vibes and even better treats!

I placed an order here because they were the only place open at 4am, and let me tell you that the food was DELICIOUS. The cake donuts were so perfectly soft and moist yet had a substantial heft, almost like a pound cake. The bacon egg and cheese kolache was amazing (especially the bread, which was so soft, fresh, and almost a little flaky). The egg inside was pretty dry, but that was my only complaint of the entire order. Boba was from powder but still delicious and refreshing and hit the spot!! Also great customer service! They didn’t have apple fritters made yet when I placed my order but replaced it with a chocolate cake donut and a blueberry cake donut, both of which were sooo good. Can’t wait to go back and try their apple fritter!

The folks that own and operate this place are some of the most friendly people I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. They always have a positive attitude and the high quality of everything available food-wise is super consistent and reliable. While scrambled eggs are fine in kolaches, etc -- this is the only place I've ever seen that fries an entire egg for them. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

I like this area where it has a plenty of parking. The staff was nice to help you if you have any questions. The donuts aren’t that bad, but they don’t give you mini donuts when you buy a dozen donuts, unlike the other donuts shops. And the sizes seem small as the ones from Krispy Kreme. But that’s just me.
