5 stars 🌟 You give me good food & service twice in a row, you've got me for breakfast life! 🙏
I gotta tell you about this awesome place I went to recently. They serve the most amazing cheeseburgers! Like, seriously, my taste buds were doing a happy dance. The burger was just perfect - the patty was super juicy and had this awesome flavor, and the cheese was all melty and delicious. The bun was just right, not too much, not too little – just the perfect balance. But it's not just about the food. The people there were top-notch. From the moment I walked in, they were super friendly and made me feel right at home. They knew their stuff too – gave great recommendations and answered all my questions with a smile. The whole vibe of the place was nice and cozy. It was clean, and you could tell they cared about making the place nice for customers. So, if you're looking for an amazing cheeseburger and a place where the people are cool and professional, you've gotta check this spot out. It's like the perfect combo of great food and awesome service.
I used to really enjoy coming to Vic's all stars and now it is even better since it was taken over by new management. I went there with a big party (8 people). The service was quick, and the food was so good. They added it to the menu and revitalized the location with new colors and an upgrade. Today it was a no brainer as to where we should be going to brunch. Our friendly waiter David is taking care of us. Did I mention that the service is as good as the food and that the food is delicious? I ran into the owner, who is both kind and personable. I highly recommend Vic's as the place to be for breakfast. Become a regular and enjoy the happy atmosphere!
Excellent! We love the chicken & waffles!
Best food and service! The restaurant is always tidy and the staff are polite and fun.
This is one of Pleasanton's oldest restaurants. Lots of sports memorabilia from local school teams and professional teams. Good food.
Been here twice. Had brunch both times and Loved the food both times, very tasty. So many options and the food comes out very quickly. there is no wait time to get a table. I also really like the outdoor sitting
I have happily been dinning at Vic’s going on 6 yrs. Not only is the food outstanding, more importantly the love and kindness shown to me by Laura, Ernesto and staff. There actions bring me back time and again knowing how much they care about loving and appreciating there customers, It is a most enjoyable experience. Thank you to the Staff and Laura and Ernesto Castro for showing God’s love and I am honored to call them my friends and also brother and Sister in Christ Jesus our Lord. STEPHEN C WHITE
It was absolutely perfect. The service was great, the waiters were extremely kind and helpful, and the atmosphere was cool and calm. The food was delicious. I thought the potato’s especially stood out to me. The mixture of flavor and spice they put into it tasted so good. I think the restaurant was great. I 10000% recommend coming here if your in the area and going out for breakfast.
Great local establishment with classic all-American breakfast fare. They also support local sports teams and the walls are covered with pictures of the teams. Many of the food items are even named after local coaches. Overall: good food, good service, relaxed atmosphere, family friendly, and conveniently located at the end of downtown Pleasanton.
Vic's has been in business for decades and the current owner took over in 2020 after Vic retired. They continued with great food and great service with some minor changes. The portions are plentiful (huge) and the balance of seasoning is outstanding. The service is great and your coffee cup is never empty. We have visited Vic's so many times over the years and they are very consistent and attentive. We highly recommend that you visit them and enjoy a great breakfast or lunch and enjoy some of Pleasanton's local sports photos and other memorabilia. Enjoy!!
Good choice of breakfast items at reasonable prices. Service is fast and super friendly, food always good.
The food is always delicious! The service is always great!
The staff made my family feel like family. The food portions are generous! There was one order error, but our hosts moved quickly to remedy it. Fun, clean, bright, sporty environment. We have been coming here 1-2 times per month, as part of a networking group, and with family for brunch or lunch. When we are in town, we will try dinner too. Thanks for providing a fun, tasty experience!
We had a weekend breakfast here, and things got off to a rocky start with an incorrect order. However, they promptly corrected it and even went above and beyond by providing complimentary food to make amends. Overall, we had a good service and experience. It was a nice touch that the owner himself came to check in on us.
We have been wanting to go to this place ever since we moved to Pleasanton four years back. And finally made it to this place during our morning bike ride earlier today. It was well worth coming to this place. This place is very popular with the locals and has a good community kind of vibe. The food was well prepared and served everything we ordered. Perhaps one of best tasting chicken waffles we had in the past. The chicken was not over fried and very well balanced. All the staff members are super nice and will make you feel welcoming. In spite of being a busy place, they didn’t rush us with anything. It is worth your time and money to come to this place. Would highly recommend it.
Great service! Excellent food. Fresh squeezed orange juice. What more can you ask for? 🤩
Wife and I have been coming here for a long time now and we have always enjoyed it but ever since they changed ownership they have really stepped it up a notch. Service was always good but the quality and the creativity on the menu has improved quite a bit. I just had the waffle sandwich and it was amazing. We have gone here two weekends in a row now. The food is good, the mimosas are cheap and huge, and the service is great. It is very much a small town vibe and since it is the small town I grew up in it is nice to see all the local highschool sports teams celebrated on the walls and the menu items are named after the local highschool coaches. Sitting on the patio for breakfast taking in a beautiful summer morning in downtown Pleasanton is quite relaxing. Their prices have gone up quite a bit but I suppose inflation is hitting everyone. The quality is fantastic though so at least it's good value. Just tried the tres leches french toast and it was absolutely amazing.
We had a lovely brunch here. Food selections range from traditional American fare to novelty Indian dishes like paneer bhurji & masala omelet. Service was rather slow, but our server was friendly.
Service here is excellent. The whole staff was very friendly. Food was very good and quick. Yummy! We sat outside and it was a very pleasant afternoon in Pleasanton!
Laura - thank you so much for being a life saver. Laura is the ever smiling co-owner who accommodated our group of 6 for Mother’s Day brunch. Now for the huge spread - where do I start ? Everything was delish and there were so much to choose from. I call it a Royal repast. Last but not the least, huge kudos to our server named Carlos. He’s that guy who just enhances your dining experience with his charm and attentiveness. These folks at Vic’s are my hometown favorites. Great family business and you have my vote.
Loved this place. Food was yummy. They have tons of options. Employees are very nice and dedicated. The owner was walking around the tables asking if you needed anything. Will definitely come back.
Excellent! We put ourselves on a waiting list for brunch at a different restaurant. While waiting, we strolled down the block and discovered Vic’s and decided to eat here instead. Great choice! We split the tres leches strawberry and banana French toast and the Coach Underwood crab cake Benedict. The French toast was perfect- so good in fact, that we didn’t realize until the end that we never used the butter and syrup 😂. Not too sweet, plenty of fruit on top. Crab cakes were great- just added a dash of salt and pepper. Loved the pics covering the walls of local high school sports teams- great community support. So satisfied!!

Vic’s All Star has it all for the whole family: your vegan cousin, your picky kids who only eat pancakes and bacon, your friend who’s a bottomless pit for humongous omelets. Want something lighter? Check out their healthier options. Craving a Mediterranean wrap? They’ve got it. In the mood for a classic brunch? Go for it— they have delicious, traditional dishes that hit the spot. This is the kind of place you keep coming back to because the food is SO good you’ll want to try everything on the menu. The chilaquiles omelet was incredible—no canned salsas or beans here, folks. Everything tastes homemade and authentic. The quality is high, and the ingredients are fresh; you can tell this isn’t some plastic-wrapped plate heated up in a microwave. Their potatoes make an amazing side, especially with the breakfast dishes. And the best part? It’s the kind of restaurant where you’re greeted with a warm smile and instantly feel at ease and welcome. Highly recommend—such a great place!
Vics has been hosting the Tri Valley Executives Association for years. Laura does a great job taking care of our group; she is very attentive and does a great job changing the menu. It's nice to have a place where our group can meet without having to worry about food or service.
Great menu selection. Food was excellent. Friendly, very helpful service. First visit.... we will return
Absolutely loved the tacos w/ a side of fries and coleslaw. So filling and amazing fresh mango salsa. Coach Jocelyn was everything! The owners are more likely family to me....

Vics's was a great resturant to visit! I ordered the "Coah Gibson," and it was amazing. The flavor of the waffle with the cinnamon sugar and powedered sugar was fantastic and full of flavor. The sryup wasn't to sweet and added a nice finishing touch to the waffle. The servers were kind, quick, and helpful. Overall my experence here was wonderful. The menu has a wide variety of breakfast options like omlets, plates, alcohol, and classics like pancakes. Highly recommend for the breakfast lover!
Pretty cool place to eat on a summer morning. Staff is friendly and the food is good (not great). They have a wide range of items on the menu and the outside seating on the main street on a summer morning is pretty good.
I liked the vibe. very nice spot in Pleasanton. Good food. Good vibe. Will visit agani
One of the Chicken Steak and gravy with hash browns and eggs I have tasted. The steak was moist and the gravy had a delicious flavor. The biscuits and gravy were also very good. We sat outside with a nice mid morning breeze.
Food is decent but the serve could’ve been better. My friend run out of water and our waiter wasn’t paying attention at all. We sit indoor which isn’t the best. They had people sorting their silverware in the lobby. That made really loud noise and was really hard to hear other people talk. The owner is really friendly tho. The owner is very friendly and talk to several customers.
This place feels cozy and chill. It’s a beautiful old style diner with plenty of dishes to choose from. Coffee’s kinda expensive for what it is but not bad. Good food and great service. Nice for a relaxed Sunday breakfast.
Very friendly staff and the food is really good. Wonderful breakfast joint. Even if it gets busy staff takes care everything nicely.

The staff was friendly, but the food fell far short of expectations. Our group of nine ordered different dishes, yet none of us found the food enjoyable. However the staff were very nice and one of our dishes was not cooked well. When we told them, they didn’t charge us for that dish.
The place was nice, friendly and attentive staff. Price was reasonable. Lots of regulars. The food was average. We had the chicken/waffle and the salmon omelette. We might probably come back to taste their other food choices. We weren’t too fond of the ones we picked the first time.

We like to be fair but food didn’t have a real Mexican taste. It was just ok.

Had breakfast with my family here. Laura, the server did not write down our order. She decided to impress us with her memory. We anticipated that the order might be messed up and it was. Now we need to tell her that there are mistakes, so we are uncomfortable. The potatoes were wrong on mine (hash browns instead of country). Not a big deal, but instead of just bringing me the correct potatoes, she took away my entire plate. Now my family is eating without me. Why would you take all of my food away? Just bring me the new potatoes. Isn't this common sense and polite? There is no time that not writing down an order ever works out well. Even when everything is correct, the customer is worried that something might be wrong. Customers also will change their order to make it simpler, when they see the server without a pen. We don't want to substitute ham for bacon in the omelette, because that might be too much to remember. Other restaurants in the area (Bill's Cafe), use electronic ordering. The order goes directly to the kitchen. It's faster and errors are reduced. Can somebody please get Laura a pen?
I won’t come back again service is so slow
