Great place that has been around for a lot of years! We got a cheeseburger with onion rings. Char broiled taste. Tony and Val got their fries....thick krinkle cut. The onion rings were good. The place is owned by Jim's. Recommend. Great place to bring the kids.

Met a friend here for lunch. First time dining here at the recommendation of the friend. Service and welcome was outstanding. Atmosphere was welcoming with the customers in good spirits. However, the food did not meet the predining hype that was given. My friend even apologized that food was subpar. Maybe another meal again with my friend is needed to elevate this review.

Went through drive-thru and got chicken tenders with country gravy. It was cooked well and serving was alot of food (4 piece). I was in and out, food was fresh and staff was very friendly. 12 for the meal is about normal now a days - here you get quality ingredients, freshly made, large servings and friendly service.

Dropped in for a burger around noon. Ordered a Frontier burger single patty with onion rings and a drink. Noticed the decor is definitely an older style with aged tables and the place was not as tidy as expected. Food arrived at my table in short time and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. The burger was a big and everything in the burger was done right. The charcoal flavor definitely comes through mixed nicely with a sauce layered together with cheese and fresh lettuce delivered a pleasing taste at every bite. The onion rings were very tasty by themselves or with the house ketchup but were a little on the greasy side. Overall I enjoyed dining here and the burger was a big hit.

This place is usually pretty good. My family enjoyed their food, but mine wasn't anything to write home about. I had a salad with the charbroiled chicken and the chicken was way overcooked and super dry, and the salad was really wet, like they had just washed the greens, except the water was pooled in the bottom like it had been sitting in the fridge. Everyone else enjoyed there's, and the service is really good.

I went through the drive thru, I didn't get a feel for the inside of the restaurant. It was a bit of a wait for my food. But the burgers tasted authentically char broiled. It was nice that the buns were warmed! The burger itself was a good size! I ordered the onion rings and they were delicious and I was given a generous portion! My onion rings were so fresh the steam kept digging my camera! Lol Give this place a try! Fat girl approved!

We have never tried these burgers before so we thought why not. We went inside to enjoy them & found the place had 50’s tunes on. Thought that was great! Cashier told us how Frontier Burger was around before Jim’s was & we thought that was interesting. The burgers tasted like classic charbroiled burgers & the buns were toasted. We tried the mushroom burger & the chili burger. Got the meals with half fries half onion rings. Also added bowls of the chicken tortilla soup, which was a bit spicy but tasty too. We just thought the tables were a little sticky & probably needed to be cleaned better.

The biscuit was hard and dry, the sausage was hard and dry. I got my son a cheeseburger and the patty was hard and dry. I know it’s Frontier burger but I didn’t think the were going to stay true to the chuckwagon dried meat and hardtack theme. There’s better food out there, but give it a try if you really like flame broiled flavor. The register guy didn’t hear me say a chocolate chip cookie so it didn’t make it onto the order and we didn’t realize it until we drive off. Also I don’t like crinkle cut fries, that’s what I make when I’m poor, not what I want when I eat out.

This is my first time trying this place even though I know it’s been here a while. I got a regular hamburger combo, with mixed fries and tots (they forgot the tots) and a medium drink. I think I was expecting to be “wowed” because they are charbroiled. The only thing that made me go “wow” was the price: Patti’s have good flavor but are thin, and my burger is kind of small. The fries looked like they’ve sitting out for a while. Not worth the twelve dollars. With those prices, you’d pay your workers more. I was given the option to tip your drive thru. I declined considering I was not dining in.

The front cashier, Leah, was a very pleasant young lady and provided good service. The fries were acceptable. Unfortunately, the Patty Melt (#7) was overwhelmingly greasy. The bread was completely soggy, and when I lifted it, grease poured out like water from a soaked sponge. I could go on, but I’ll leave it there. P.S. They were quick to take the food once they saw my reaction.

Nothing to write home about. Just a basic decent hamburger. The number 1 combo meal, regular sized, was $13.40 after tax. The bun was dry. It basically tasted like a whopper from Burger King. Save your money and go to Burger King unless you’re in a hurry, and this happens to be close, which is the only reason I stopped in.
