I recently visited The Riptide, a surf-themed bar in the Outer Sunset area of San Francisco, and I was blown away by my experience. This bar is located just blocks away from the beach, and the surf-inspired atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing evening out. The drinks at The Riptide are delicious and well-priced, and the staff and service are top-notch. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly, and they take the time to make sure you're happy with your drink. The service is fast and efficient, and the staff are always ready with a smile and a recommendation. The atmosphere at The Riptide is chill and inviting, with surf-inspired decor and a laid-back vibe. There's plenty of seating indoors and when outside you get a perfect view of the beach. Whether you're looking for a place to grab a drink with friends, or just want to relax and unwind after a long day, The Riptide is the perfect spot. In conclusion, if you're looking for a surf-themed bar with great drinks, friendly staff, and a laid-back atmosphere, The Riptide in the Outer Sunset area of San Francisco is the place to be. I highly recommend this bar, and I will definitely be returning in the future. Five stars!

Small neighborhood bar with country western theme. Did not appear to be any service help this weeknight but bartender was quick and helpful. Several beers on draft and a full selection of liquor. Various nightly specials . Cash only. Background music app N Loud for casual conversation, apparently live bands sometimes. Nice place all told., will go back.

Had a wonderful time on Monday night, when I spontaneously wandered in. Daniel was behind the bar rockin' it, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. It happened to be open mic night, and the audience was enthusiastic and engaged. I to met one of the owners and the bar manager, who were very friendly and hospitable. Overall, this place is a great neighborhood bar, with an equally great staff and customer base

This place is great! There is always something happening everyday of the week. The atmosphere is typically nothing crazy, just a good time. The clientele is nice too, nothing seedy everyone is respectful of each other and the staff from what I have seen. The drinks are reasonably priced and they have a decent selection of draft beers and a full bar. The staff is fast friendly and accommodating to your requests. No food only chips for $1 Dogs friendly

We arrived a little after sunset, pulled up a booth, had a refreshing (& affordable!) beer, and rolled out a little before 6:30 when they were getting (free! with prizes) bingo started. We considered staying to play, but had a date with dumplings in our tracks :p We’ll def be back for bingo the next Saturday we catch a sunset at Ocean Beach. Seems like plenty of events throughout the month. Dog friendly! Fun lil neighborhood watering hole!

The Sunset is blessed with great neighborhood bars. Nothing fancy, just cold beer, good drinks, plenty of whiskey, and a no-nonsense clientele of locals. One of my favorite bars in the city, and a nice spot for karaoke on Tuesdays too

Took my hubby here for his 29th bday. He LOVED it. Both our 1st time here with a friend. Great venue STILL after the fire. Have yet to do karaoke or attend burlesque here. We cannot wait to return!
