They forgot to put sausage in my sandwich so I went to take it back and they remade the sandwhich without a fuss, great customer service.

Love getting bagels here - always fresh, chewy and light bagels - great cream cheese too! Need to try their muffins they look incredible!

I’ve been coming here for a while, but they are recently under new management and they have seriously leveled up! Really friendly as well. So happy to have good bagels near by with local owners that I’m happy to support !

An amazingly large selection of bagels. I ordered a large pack without calling ahead, and they were able to gather my request in a very timely manner. The bagels and muffins tasted great and the employees were very friendly and service oriented.

Bagels was fresh and good amount of cream cheese. BLT bagel was very tasty. Coffee was cold and taste not that good.

Bagels are good. Sandwiches are good. They have these unreal-good muffins that have a cheesecake filling, worth going just for the muffins. The place is clean but always feels dark and dingy (i know it isn't but i can't help but to feel that way). Staff is always changing so some inconsistency with what your get between visits. More pros than cons with this place. Would recommend.

The bagel I ordered came out very quick and tasted the best ever. The service was good, but not the best ever. The atmosphere was also good, the only thing was that it didn't feel very lively. Overall, it's pretty nice.

Bagels are good. But I was disappointed. When you ask for cream cheese every bagel place I go to, they give you a slice of cheese. This place spreads it like butter. Not enough cheese. If I want go on a diet then I wouldn't even eat bagels. C'mon. More cheese on my bagel next time and everytime. Got to make it worth the price.

This is an alright bagel & sandwich place. The prices are pretty reasonable, and there's a variety of items. The stuff is prepared fairly quickly. I got the southern tradition bagel sandwich, which has egg, meat and cheese. The bacon was pretty crispy, which I like, the egg was pretty bland. The bagel itself, which was an everything bagel, was a little overcooked, and not because it was toasted for the sandwich. It also seemed a little dry, making these bagels pretty average.

The bagels here are like mini bagels. Be aware before you order. Taste was good but they are about 1/3 the size of a normal bagel

Alright I was originally gonna post 4 months ago cuz I had a horrible experience with the owner but I said," nevermind, I come here way too often." But a few days ago I was mind blown how he treated another customer. He yelled at her and tried to give her a lecture. Oh my gosh. I then realized he might be going through alot? Stressed? Poor girl was so nice to him. The bagels are still yummy and might just come here if my other bagel place is closed.

Had lunch here. Sandwich was decent. The reason for the three stars is that each time we've been in there and it's seldom, the customer service is not great. Consistently, the worker behind the counter has no greeting, no smile, and you get the impression they simply hate their job. So unless there's a coupon, we don't go.

Chef writing and I'm experienced in food service and up to date on sanitation license. I went to place an order and waited for 40 minutes because they gave order to the incorrect customer. They tried to call the customer to get them to bring the order back to give it back to me. Even before the times of covid with temperature and time that is almost an hour with cold fish on top of hot food. It would have been in the temperature danger zone for longer than I'm comfortable eating and honestly it could have been possible the customer already started eating the order. It took 15 minutes before I began to wonder if they remade the order. I asked and was appaled when they said they called the customer to get them to bring it back rather than remaking it. I watched them also handle ready to eat food with ungloved hands and I made sure to check if she had washed her hands before changing tasks. She didn't. I do not think I will be coming here again and if I get sick after eating what they remade I would not be surprised. I'm actually amazed because I've come before and their food was good so I am unsure what has happened since.

I was really hoping for a New York bagel experience. I was disappointed. The bagels were bigger than Noah's or Bruegger's, but they had more of a bread texture than the chewiness I hear so much about. I would detonate skip the turkey sausage, more like a sawdust sausage. Everything else was great!

Came here on a whim and can say I'll probably never go back. To start the guy ringing me up just really could care less about being there and didn't even attempt to fame interest in any of us in line. Now to the food: the lemon coconut muffin was good, but really only tasted like coconut with little to no lemon flavor at all. The lox on garlic, without tomatoes, I ordered my husband came out with everything but onions. When we asked them to remake it they argued that that was how he ordered it (yet I did the ordering). The rest was just as bland and definitely not worth going back to try something else. All in all mediocre, at best, food and sub-par customer service.

Terrible service using too good too go platform here. Tried once and arrived ten mins late and they wouldn’t open the door or let. Tried again and came too early. Seems like they don’t value people’s business. Would give 0/5 stars if I could.

This place is unreal. I was going to buy TWO bagel packs for an office and they were going to throw the bagels in BAGS. Oh yeah but hey buddy we can put in a box for $2.50 more each dozen. Considering I️t was already $24 for each dozen (incl cream cheese) that was absurd. False advertising on your price! Manager/owner was pretty short and rude in his response. Apparently he doesn’t want my business. Btw I went to Panera and I️t was $16 per bakers dozen (incl cream cheese) and they put in a box. Big Apple Bagels is losing my business forever as it’s a total disappointment

Disappointing. Big Apple Bagels recently was sold and now has new owners. I decided not to make fast judgment because everyone deserve a chance to prove themselves. I gave it about a month and after today, I need to leave a review. The bagels themselves are way thinner than before and are very inconsistent. The egg on my order is never the same. Recently, the egg has been way smaller than the bagel itself. I also noticed that the sausage was very salty. Finally, my breakfast sandwiches have been soggy and the wrapping is all wet. I know the team is still learning and improving everyday but I’m just disappointed to see the quality go down. After today, I think I may stop attending my favorite bagel place of 6 years. I also wanted to note that they will not take orders over the phone without payment and that just makes things inconvenient now. I’m sorry you lost money on a $100+ order but maybe change the policy to not take orders over a certain amount on the phone rather than penalize those who just want to order their $6 bagel. To top things off, they didn’t make one of my bagels correct today even after reading it back to me multiple times. I wish you the best of luck but Big Apple Bagels is no longer the best in my opinion.

I used to come here daily and would purchase large orders for parties. Sadly since new ownership the place has really turned for the worse. I specifically asked 3 times for my bagels not to be toasted and when I was served toast bagels, and notified the owner, he made a scene and accused me of lying. So sad 😞 Will not be returning.

Prepurchased bagels through TooGoodToGo App. Arrived with 5 minutes left in pickup window (3:20pm) and the place was locked up tight with no response upon knocking. Major waste of time driving at rush hour to get there and now having to deal with customer service for a refund. Just don’t sign up for that service if you can’t deliver… or at least message remaining customers if you have to pack it up early!

Asiago melt (cheese, ham, and egg) gave my girlfriend food poisoning. Vomiting, headache, bloody stool, etc. (4/25/2025) Started with a stomach ache as we were driving back after.

There was an actual hair baked into my bagel. It was the grossest thing I have ever eaten. When I told the guy working there he got mad at me?? I’m the one who ate part of the hairy bagel 🤢🤮. At least I got my money back

My husband and I door dashed from here and what the dasher picked up (zero blame on his part) was one correct bagel and then I guess they didn’t have a specific bagel so they didn’t include it at all, money wasted, and then my husband received a cinnamon bagel with chives cream cheese on it, obviously not a good flavor combo. As someone mentioned before, the store took the decision upon themselves, essentially just took our money and didn’t leave a note or anything. In total, just a waste of $30. Disappointed.

When I called, the manager, Rick, told me he'd just heard the same thing from another customer and suggested I input my PIN on the tip screen to account for the extra charge. My PIN, when used as a sum added to the amount I was meant to have been charged, did not add up, debunking this. Furthermore, I remembered the tip screen and had put zero because I’d added cash to the tip jar. Rick informed me I had to come in for a partial refund. So I motored the twenty minutes over, and he doubled down when I arrived, now stating that I’d absentmindedly typed in the total amount on the tip screen. Perhaps if I didn't remember quite so clearly, I could give the benefit of the doubt that I’d been wrong here, but, alas. He said he always sees this, but when I mentioned a new card reader because this seems like a thorn in his side, he replied, “Not really, it happens maybe once in 500 customers.” Oh really, Rick? Sounds like at least 2 in 500, considering he just told me it had happened to another lady the same day. These statements are incongruent. Which is it? It happens all the time or not often at all? He enacted a demonstration of how it happened by showing how the tip screen reads, but it only reinforced my memory of putting a zero there. He made sure to mention that they cannot change the charges after customers leave, but all I have is his word on that, and since he'd already contradicted himself, I can't really go based on that. This very well could have been an honest mistake, but the customer service was off-putting. He did refund the overcharge, but the attitude was as dry and offensive as the mini muffins. On top of it all, the bagels were tiny and stale, so no love was lost. I will not be back

When he finally DID open the window, I told him no one had taken my order, that the speak just crackled & popped, but no one talked. I had heard the car behind me get asked, and give their order, however. There were 6 employees I could see: 5 teenagers and an older woman. They were busy, but steady, not a huge crush. Boyo snottily asked me “Well, what do you want then?” I ordered, waited, then was told it would be another 10 minutes as they had run out of what I’d ordered. I changed my order, and was given a COLD and a small pit of cream cheese. 4 Stars? No …won’t be back.
