Exceptional service and delicious food. They easily accommodated my husband’s dairy allergy. Thanks!
We sat outside, our dog was welcomed. It was cold and the patio heaters are not working. I don't understand why they aren't working, it's still cold outside and the patio is open so... anyway. The food was incredible, the service is excellent, the price is high but you get quality food. We're definitely going again.
Diana was amazing and very particular to make sure we were very well taken care of.
I normally do not write reviews but I just had the best breakfast experience ever! I am a night shift nurse and my coworkers are always wanting to get breakfast after work. They picked The Broken Yolk since the menu looked good and we all wanted mimosas after an insane night. The food was incredible! I got the tiki toast and mimosa flight! I felt like I was back in Hawaii! Shout out to our server Keri for being so friendly and attentive! She is pregnant and was working harder than anyone there!! She was on top of all our requests and even anticipated our needs before we had to ask! Everything was perfect and we cannot wait to eat there again!
Amazing experience! From the restrooms, to the dining area everything is clean & comforting. Staff are all professionally dressed, and courteous. The food was perfectly cooked and served fast & hot, with large portions! The best place to spend $20, you'll get breakfast, lunch, and a great start to your day! Kudos to Mariah for being so friendly & attentative! Great job, Ivan, keep up the great Management!
I will never order an eggs Benedict again... Broken yolk has " broken" me. Caprese eggs Benedict! Off the chart!
5 stars because of the incredible service we received. It was brunch, just after several middle school graduations and the place was slammed on a Wednesday morning. Suzanne was our server and she was attentive, friendly and when she let us know there would be a delay in getting our food, she gave us complimentary blueberry muffins. I will definitely return because of her.
Everytime I come here the quality and service is consistent. It's excellent 👌 love there chilequiles and sopes. Everything I've had here has been yummy and clean and great service.
I love the one off Los Posas in San Marcos. The food is great and so is the service. The best thing is the shopping center has The Rack, Marshall's, and Ross. Then, a quick run to Sprouts to grab dinner stuff! Perfect!
Food was decent and the server, Stephanie, was exceptional.
I went to the Broken Yolk with the extended family. We were a large group, but received fantastic service. The food was delicious. I had a tadteof many dishes. The atmosphere was great. I highly recommend getting breakfast or brunch here.
I had breakfast here and it was delicious and I will say Jaehn gave us excellent service! He never let my coffee run out and i really appreciate that
Great place for breakfast. Food was wonderful and everyone in our group enjoyed. Highly recommend.
Very pleasantly surprised about this chain. Delicious breakfast with a friendly staff. Check out the mimosa flights.
Food was great! Wendi, our server was fantastic!
First time here, it was AMAZING. I ordered the Greek omelette, which was sooo delicious, especiallyfor a healthy, low calorie option! My friend had the Steak and Eggs. Unfortunately her steak came a little over cooked from what she ordered but the waitress, Suzanne, immediately took it back and had it fixed it for her. New one came back quickly and correctly. Needless to say I think my friend enjoyed it because nothing was left on her plate! Great wait staff, amazing food, good coffee. Will definately be coming again! Thank you again Suzanne!
As usual our food was amazing. We used the online waitlist and were seated right away. Stephanie was amazing and always checking on us. We were lucky and got a private seating area so our grandson has his way of running around
I don't come often to Broken Yolk as I live in another city. I was there celebrating my niece's birthday. It was on a Saturday morning, breakfast time. The staff was friendly and made sure we were seated promptly. Our server was showed a high level of customer service that I have not seen in a long time, I believe her name is Alexa, I might be wrong. As I said the service was top notch, Atmosphere in inviting and the food is good.
I really wish I would’ve taken pictures of her breakfast but it was so beautiful that we inhaled it all. We had the eggs Benedict where you could pick two eggs, Benedict and one and then my son had cinnamon, French toast, crunch, and then a side of crab. Our server was like the best server we have ever had in our life. It was actually listening to our stories and telling us some good ones. I thought the customer service was outstanding, and I really wish that service like this was everywhere. The food was incredible. The service was incredible and overall experiences such a beautiful town such as San Diego made San Diego even more beautiful, kudos to you guys keep it up I should’ve taken some pictures but I had to eat it all instead of taking pictures we will be back!!!
Great breakfast with my wife. Jaehn was our server. He was funny, attentive and speedy. Love this plac
Good food. Good Service. Two thumbs up 👍 👍.
Had breakfast here this week and was very surprised at how good the chilaquiles were, wasn’t craving traditional breakfast food and when I saw they made these I had to take a chance. Was very impressed, got them with green sauce and carne asada they were great! Definitely made me want to return and try something else!
Diana the server was excellent. And the food we had was great , and we will be sure to be back.
Our server, Jaehn, was outstanding! The food was delicious and prompt.
I’m always in love with places with outdoor seating area and here was no different. They have a beautiful indoor and outdoor set up. The food is delicious, the service is amazing and fast, the waiters are friendly, helpful and attentive. Whoever is doing the training process is winning. Good job on that 👍🏼 I definitely recommend it. Looking forward to my next visit.
We came to broken yolk after a tough quiz and rough week of exams and Jaehn made our experience amazing. We got some flights, and a great breakfast then he sent us out the door smiling. I would definitely visit this location again just because of him.
Always great when I go, food is incredible and service is always excellent. I have had Jaehn as my server a few times and he's always so friendly and helpful.
The Broken Yoke Cafe in San Marcos was clean, friendly and the food came out quickly! Diana was my server. Diana was extremely nice, attentive, and took good care of me. Thank you Diana! Great breakfast spot if you’re in the area!
This restaurant smelled so good when I walked in, so clean bright and new. The food was good, I finished my plate.
Simply the best breakfast, hands-down! They have a lot of choices and they are all delicious. The service is always great. Broken yolk is my favorite place for breakfast anywhere in the world.
We had a wonderful meal. Mom enjoyed her American breakfast that was the basic wants and needs. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the hash browns couldn’t have been any better. My burger was delicious, but I admit I had trouble eating it. How do people get their mouths around that big of a burger? That doesn’t take away from the taste and presentation of the meal. The place was plenty busy, which tells you everything you need to know about this place. Busy means their reputation precedes them. Come back customers keep every business going and we will be the same. Our waitress was STEFANI, and she was on top of everything. We wanted for nothing. She’s an asset to this business and I hope the manager is aware of that Definitely will be going back.
Wonderful family restaurant…friendly staff…excellent food! Shout out to Christian for his prompt service and professionalism. Met the manager, Daniele and appreciated her checking on us.
We had an amazing breakfast here, 3/17/25. Our server was so attentive & friendly, plus the food was super 😋. Even though the restaurant was very busy, our food came out hot & quickly. My partner's Croissant Egg Sandwich was so flavorful, with Chipotle mayo, on a light & flaky croissant, filled with fluffy eggs, bacon & cheese. Hash browns on both our dishes were golden brown, warm & buttery, & the ham steak I ordered was a nice size & thickness, plus very tender, with delicious flavor. Both the decaf & regular coffees were hot & rich-tasting. My partner had 2 cups, & she almost never drinks more than one. Each time our cups were almost empty, our server would appear out of nowhere, promptly refilling our coffees. The interior of this restaurant is large & accommodating, with comfy booths ringing the edge walls, & tables in the center. I loved this place! .
We were quickly greeted by our server, Victor, who answered all of our questions about the menu and made us feel at home! His service really turned around what started out as a rough morning heading to the airport. Just wanted to say thanks for brightening up our day and we will be back soon!
First off I don't eat breakfast so you can see I got a cup of soup small salad and a half a sandwich. Soup with chicken noodle salad was very berry and sandwich was Turkey was way more than I can eat I had to get it to go for the sandwich. Husband's egg Benedict and home fries was excellent. But I want to give a shout out to our server Wendi, she was very attentive very polite and an excellent waitress
Amazing, service was incredible! I will bring my family here as many times as I can. Food came in pretty quick for a Wednesday morning and the food itself was even more delicious than it looks. Thank you to my sister who took me here for my birthday was a great place to eat and chat can’t wait to come back !🩵🐣
My friends and I come to this place a lot when we get together and the food has been great every time, the portions are filling, and they make sure your drinks are always full. After 10 there is usually a waiting time so if you get there before you’ll probably be seated fairly quickly. The servers are awesome and they check often to make sure everything’s going well.
I came here with a friend, she mentioned about this place and I have heard of it once from my roommate. We came around 1 PM. I'll start with the reviews of what I have thought of this place. The cleanliness of this place is really nice and clean, they really took care of it. Including the restroom, they smelled nice, they had this such nice aroma scent in there. As for the tables seating option, they had plenty, you can choose anywhere. Keep in mind, it was on a Thursday, around noon, so there wasn't a lot of people. I saw a few until we were almost done, we became the only people there. I felt like we were in the apocalypse lol. The foods there are really nice, not a lot of selections but they were enough. I ordered a bacon sandwich with sweet potato fries, simple lunch. they tasted really good. The waitress, she was really nice, although she should have been a bit sensitive to me because I'm Deaf. She kept talking to me like I'm hearing which I find a bit annoying. The price there is affordable, some of them are really pricey but it's really affordable. The place is really clean, it's really family friendly oriented establishment. if you're looking to get in for a nice quiet, this would be for you.
I gave them four stars only because we had to ask twice for some butter and salsa and I also know for a fact that the omelet could have been better, it has in the past. It was on the dry side and I asked for crispy bacon and it was burnt. The waffle was very tasty. The waitress was very friendly when taking the order.
Food is good but not great. Pretty empty on a weekday morning. Our food came out at different times. Pretty pricey menu. We used to go here more often but now prefer the mom and pop breakfast places. Food is better and staff warm and inviting
My wife had avocado toast with smoked salmon. She enjoyed. I ordered corn beef hash well done with poached eggs. My dish came out, no eggs. Tried to flag someone down, took a while. Dish wasn't well done and had very little corn beef. Dish came back, they just slapped the eggs on top. Waitress offered to have it remade, but I was starving and just ate it. Manager was nice enough to comp my meal
To begin. I am vegan and did not have high expectations. My family went here to allow our omnivorous mother-in-law a break from our menu at home. There were a couple of vegan or could be made vegan options. Plant-based substitutes were provided. They were tasty but overcooked. Probably due to lack of experience cooking plant-based proteins. The server was efficient, friendly, and prompt. The din of the other patrons conversations echoed off the near empty walls. This may seem like a very critical review, but I offer it as an opportunity for management to make some minor tweaks to improve the overall experience.
The food is good, we had brunch we really loved the chicken crepes there great! Service was 50/50 server forgot my son's plate ( San Marcos Location)and order had to wait 15-20 min but at the end store manager made up for it. But food is good 😋🤤😊 over all 5star
Coffee us always great. Mimosas we're tasty. I ordered the steak and eggs, and both were a little overcooked but the staff was very accommodating and re-cooked my breakfast. Everyone was super attentive! And we went at a perfect time, early enough to beat the Sunday traffic so we were seated immediately.
Every once in a while I need my banana pancake fix from broken yolk! Absolutely delicious, and I love diner coffee with them the most. I’ve had other things before, and they vary wildly in quality. The banana pancakes never disappoint! The staff is all very friendly but be aware this is a busy brunch spot on the weekend and you may have to wait a little.
Came here with some friends for brunch on a weekend day. Pretty busy and it was about a 30 minutes wait but it went by quickly. We were seated when there was space and ordered right away. I ordered the Chilaquiles Bowl which had corn tortilla chips with red and green sauce with cheese, eggs over easy, onions, cilantro, carne asada and sour cream. Nice meal and I enjoyed my dining experience.
Great location and staff were very friendly. I was fortunate enough to have Suzanne as my waitress and she was totally fantastic. She made sure I had everything I needed, my order was fresh and hot, she was always aware to care for my needs. With a great smile and cheerful disposition, she made my breakfast experience a wonderful one for a Wednesday morning.
Starting on a good note the server was timely and took care of any needs we needed. My wife and I took our granddaughter and he understood the need for a high chair, a water with a lid and straw and as many napkins as we needed checking in our whole visit. As you see, I gave the food only two stars because I can’t remember what I had and it is only three days since going there. Just remember it was bland and my wife also was not impressed. It sounded busier than it really was with the echoing of others on their phones. I assume they were there to take care of business and not there to satisfy their appetite. Sorry
The crepes were too undercooked for my taste. The batter felt raw and lacked the light, golden texture they should have. I mentioned this to the waitress, and she told me that they always prepare them that way. It wasn’t the best experience. The waitress was friendly, but I had to keep looking for her whenever I needed something, even though the place wasn’t that busy.
My chilaquiles where swimming (more like drowning) in sauce. I had to go fishing for the tortilla chips. I would have taken off half the sauce if I could. I don't like it when they bring out cups of water without me asking for them (takes up room on the table & wets it with the sweat). Everything else was good.
I placed an order over the phone with a nice young gentleman. I asked for 2 extra sides of Sour cream. They did not charge me for them, i proceeded to ask for them. He was nice and apologized. He was handling everything well. A woman named Crystal, got close to us and asked what was the problem, with an attitude. I explained the situation and she moved the young gentleman and changed my order on the register and had me sign a new receipt. She was very unprofessional, rude and there was no reason for her to treat her coworker the way she did. She did not say thank you, did not offer a receipt. A few other guest arrived while I was beeing helped, she never greeted them.
Enjoyed BYC in Carlsbad so wanted to try a different location. This one is a large location (prior Elephant Cafe if you remember that place) and great large parking lot in this Las Posas road center with Sprouts. The food was the same wide menu and good quality for breakfast. The seating host wasn’t great but our server was really friendly and helpful. Tried the Sweet Trio (one cinnamon pancake, Tiki Toast and Crunchy French toast) and it was a good intro to their sweet side of the menu. All were unique and good to share. I normally go with the breakfast burrito so needed to snack on spouse’s egg and bacon dish to supplement- all and all a good experiment
3.5 STARS Table for 11 and they were able to seat us right away on a Saturday morning. There's a lot of tables so this location is great for larger groups. Whenever I dine at a Broken Yolk I'd order the French Toast with the strawberries etc. on the side. I don't like my food soggy. The food is always good. So why 3.5 Stars? It's the service. One server gave me dirty looks when i was ready to sit down and noticed the chair was wet and asked for napkins or a dry towel cause I wasn't about to sit on a wet chair. She stood there and stared at me then I said "look" and she quickly with an attitude grabbed the seat behind me and changed the seat. Her attitude started my day off bad. Our actual server was very nice though. Regardless, I'd still return.
We ate here during the pandemic and had a good experience. Breakfast choices in North County are slim. So we thought we would try BYC again. Service was slow and inattentive. It took forever to get our food. When it arrived it wasn't hot. My wife ordered a cappuccino, which was served in a 5 ounce cup. And they charged $5.55! You can get a tall at Starbucks for under $4. And it was not well prepared. My wife sent it back and just drank water. The Canadian bacon on the eggs Benedict wasn't sliced properly. My wife's toast was barely toasted. And worst of all, the fruit served with each of our plates was dry mushy and old. It looked and felt days old. We swapped it out for hash browns. They brought out 2 large plates of hash browns that were hot but cooked hard. The server never asked if we needed anything more to drink, much less anything else. With the inflated price of everything these days, including eating out, what's served should be appealing, fresh, and tasty. The food we got at BYC in San Marcos was nowhere near that quality.
Waitress messed up our order about 4 different times. Hash browns are some of the worst i have ever had with no taste to them whatsoever. Even the Waitress agreed that they aren't good. If you want a good experience just travel to the one in Oceanside. Its much better
The food was good but unfortunately the establishment smells like raw sewage thinly veiled by harsh cleaning products.
The waitress was really friendly, But my food was terrible. I ordered the barbecue ranch chicken wrap with the barbecue sauce on the side. It arrived with no ranch dressing, the barbecue sauce was Tabasco sauce. The chicken was dry and the lettuce was soggy. I was charged $16 plus extra for 2 little pieces if fruits What a waste of my hard earned money.
Ordered pickup for 11:30 am. Got there at about 11:55 am, and the order came out 3 minutes later. Made me glad I was late to pick it up. The lady at the front was talking to a coworker and so she didn't make sure everything on the ticket was accounted for before closing the bag and handing it to me. I asked for utensils, syrup, and butter. I got none of it. For the most part the food was really good, though the pancakes were dry.
The restaurant was very poorly managed. First, the waiting (wait list) at the entrance was a mess. There were no hosts (I found out later he's busy taking care of to-go order at the bar area) for some time. Couple of customers just walked in and seated themselves while others waited. When host (if he is actually the host) finally come over, he was polite enough, apologetic and blaming busers weren't doing their job clearing the tables, and other excuses. All these time of mess, I wondered where is the management team? Why weren't they step up and take charge? Eventually after we were seated, the table weren't very clean, and the seats and floor weren't clean as well. Server wes apologizing, attentive, and polite about the wait and the disorderly, but at the same time complaining he was working passed his scheduled shift. Food was decent enough, but I noticed some other tables got their food before us despite seated and ordered after us. Overall, everything is very badly managed. I know they were busy, and I can see they were busy. But I have been to plenty of busy restaurants and still operated in order. This location is just a mess. The one star is for the food, and the other star is for the poor servers that's just trying to do their job. Again, where is the management team all this time??
We visited for breakfast, as the establishment was not crowded, and chose to stop in. We were seated promptly, and the service was courteous. Our order consisted of French Toast with bacon; I ordered coffee, while my wife chose a soft drink. Upon receiving our meal, we found that the French Toast was undercooked, resulting in a yolk-like taste and a sensation akin to raw egg. We returned the dish not to request a remake, but because my wife lost her appetite due to the undercooked eggs. Additionally, it appeared that the staff exhibited a lack of attentiveness to our table; they did not inquire about refills or whether I desired additional coffee. The other servers maintained a fixed forward gaze, refraining from eye contact or engagement when we might have requested assistance. Furthermore, upon being seated, I observed that the napkin intended to hold my utensils was unclean, appearing to bear traces of egg yolk and lip gloss.
You could tell the food was from a can or frozen. I got some rice with my meal and you could tell it was from a box. All the vegetables were all shriveled up, similar to an instant noodle. I wouldn't have minded that if the price matched the quality. I paid about 50$ for 2 people and I gotta say absolutely not worth it. Go anywhere else. I gave this place 2 stars because the service wasn't bad.
Wow what an experience I had here . My server Belen had a lot to say in Spanish thinking I wouldn’t understand… saying stuff about me and my family because we weren’t ready to order at her convince , but we understand what she said . She didn’t check on us or gave us no refills… it was the busser who actually took care of us ..: with service from a server like that I won’t return here .
My husband and I had a disturbing experience at this restaurant. It's unacceptable that the waitress, Stephanie, would ask my husband for money in exchange for nude pictures, especially considering the sensitive nature of the situation. It's alarming that the restaurant would allow such behavior and potentially create an uncomfortable environment for customers. As a consumer, it's reasonable to expect a certain level of professionalism and respect from the staff. I was recommend reporting this incident to the restaurant's management or corporate office. They should take immediate action to address the issue and ensure that their staff is aware of the unacceptable behavior. Additionally, i may want to consider sharing my experience with others, either by posting a review online or by sharing my story with friends and family. This can help others make informed decisions about where to dine and also bring attention to the issue.
NOT WORTH THE PRICE or the TIME. If there were zero stars, they’d get it. This was Waaaaaay too overpriced! We waited for food for over an hour & it was barely luke warm. We were finally told that they had a larger party ahead of us which is why we waited so long. No apology or discount or anything to compensate for any of this. We had to ask for napkins & silverware a few times after our food arrived. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting & hadn’t been cleaned in awhike. Zero consideration for our time or experience. The main entrees were $17-$20 for about $3 worth of food that honestly, anyone could’ve cooked better. NOT WORTH IT! Don’t waste your time or money!
I've been here maybe 30 times in the last year. I was building my business around the corner from here and it was convenient to go here. Today i went in with the family - 4 adults and 2 toddlers. the food usually is hit and miss with hitting more than missing. Today it was a miss, the chicken on the salads were rubbery (over done) and the chorizo burned on my dish. to top it off i noticed an automatic gratuity charge. that is one thing that i'm totally against and it makes me not want to tip. I will never be back here again. if people aren't tipping, then raise your prices and pay your people more. service charge is simply a cop out. $190 for 2 salads, one chilaquil dish, one omelette and 2 children's burgers. along with 2 coffees, 2 smoothies and 2 soda waters.
Very busy Sunday and it took a while for our food to be ready. I understand but the WHITE couple next to us Hispanics got their order way before ours when we had ordered before them. Our server Taylor said that the kitchen did not get our order. This is pure racism. Never coming back !!
Order online and my order was completely wrong. Only thing that was correct was that there was an omelet. I order a custom omelet with Avocado, cheese, onion, sausage. I received a onion and mushroom omelet. I suggest anyone who orders anything online here to open up the food at the restaurant, I wish I could get my 27$ back definitely not worth it
I’ve ordered from this place many times. The first few times the food was good. After that, the next 3 were terrible. They messed up the order everytime, so we stopped ordering from them. It’s been around 6 months and we decided to give them another chance but that was a HUGE mistake. This was the biggest waste of money and most disgusting food I’ve had in a long time. Here are a few of our complaints: 1. Ordered the pumpkin pancakes: gave us a SINGLE PANCAKE. For $13 a single thin pancake with no syrup 2. Ordered the strawberry waffle: got a cold, disgusting waffle with a few strawberries and no strawberry syrup. It was so gross my bf wouldn’t finish it for me so we just threw it in the trash. 3. Ordered pumpkin spice latte: literally just a latte does not taste at all like pumpkin. This place has awful food, awful quality and has consistently disappointed us and we will not be giving them a third chance.
This place gave me food poisoning, I threw up 9 times in a day and had near constant diarrhea for the past 22 hours. Awful experience, if I could rate 0 I would. I had hash skillet btw.
Went there for breakfast with a friend of mine ordered the classic eggs Benedict with home fries which were burned and all stuck together the hollendaise sauce had absolutely no flavor.
Waited 45 minutes and no one took my order. Several tables came and went. I only got a coffee from the bus boy. When I went to inform them and that I needed to go. I was charged $5 for a crap coffee. I informed the manager and he just said sorry and I left. Shouldn’t have charged me for waiting 45 minutes.
Service was good from our waiter until we got charged extra food we didn’t order. We noticed they charged us $16 for an extra plate we didn’t order so we let the waiter know and she went to print a new receipt. Then the “manager” came up to us and asked if we were paying card or cash and I looked at him confused and I said card… then he said ok and gave us a new receipt (3rd receipt). I was confused on why they were charging us extra AGAIN and the manager then mentioned that the waiter messed up and put the extra plate charge on our receipt that was suppose to be for the table next to us.. the table next to us never got the plate but they charged our table. The manager was trying to take away a $10 días count that they meant to give to the table next to us, yet they tried to charge the $16 plate. This was literally after giving us 3 receipts. I told him that my dad almost paid for the plate if my mom didn’t check it before he handed the check to the waiter. He did not care and kept arguing that he needed to take the discount away from us. I then said “ok so the table next to us didn’t get the food, they didn’t get the charge and now we get the charge, at least give us the discount for the inconvenience& because it was the restaurant’s fault on the mix up.” He did not honor it and he left to charge the card. He took about 10 minutes and was in the front talking to the waiter and the host, laughing and smirking when my dad looked over and caught him and he saw my dad look at him and became serious. I then went up to him and asked him for the card because he had taken too long and he said I haven’t charged it… well yes because he was gossiping to everyone about the situation. I said please give me the number to the supervisor for this restaurant and he said “ill give you the discount”. We were celebrating something very special and enjoying our time when this man decided to ruin it all due to the restaurant mix up. Sad they would give a discount to the people next to us for the inconvenience but not the people they almost charged. It looked fishy and as it was planned so someone can pay for the plate and hopefully not notice. NEVER COMING BACK. Knew we should’ve stuck to our regular breakfast spot in Escondido. Also, Broken Yolk, please train your “managers” on how to handle a situations and maybe hire managers who are fitting for the spot. Laughing at your customers and gossiping about them is NOT OK! Ruined my breakfast and my Sunday.
Took forever to get our food. Got the order wrong the first time, patiently waited for it to be remade the first time. They brought it out and order was wrong AGAIN. Our server was not even around to tell. We’d wasted basically an hour there and still hadn’t eaten. We decided we didn’t want to wait for the third time anymore and left, the server literally came up to our car and said we didn’t pay. Our plates were FULL. Pay for what? I told her the food was wrong again and we were not going to wait for the order to be remade AGAIN. We didn’t even eat. She said “ok well you could’ve just said that instead of leaving”. To who??? She was no where???? And I’m pretty sure you’re not supposed to chase someone down and argue with them in the parking lot. RIDICULOUS and unprofessional.
Went on New Year's day, put my name on the list. Was my turn to be seated and was told they would not be seating anymore people because their system was down. Wasted 25 min of my life. Mama Kats and Tom's family restaurant are better options in the area.
Ordered delivery. The food was aweful. Cold and uncooked. The biscuits were hard and cold. The hash browns were pathetic. Do better.
This is the WORST location. I guess it’s my fault for continually returning. Not sure if the dishwashing works. Today, the place smelled like urine. Sat there for about ten minutes and watched multiple tables sit after us and have their server come. Hopefully that place gets new leadership because broken yolk isn’t a bad place overall. Just this location.
My server she was very nice but the food was not good and you could tell that they did not make the food fresh. It looked like they had already made the dish and warmed it up and served it to me. When I made my order my food was given to me almost immediately. Ten minutes had not even passed. I did have to go so I are the food and left but hugely disappointed and dissatisfied.
The manager was shockingly rude. she saw us as Muslims wearing hijab, her attitude was hostile and disrespectful. No matter how much I tried to ease the situation, she insisted on treating us badly. This behavior is unacceptable and ruined the entire experience. The waiter, on the other hand, was polite and helpful. The food was average — eggs were good, but the rest (hash browns, fries, mushrooms, toast) was not. When we gave feedback, they reluctantly offered 50% off on two plates and only after pushing did they extend it to the last one. The real issue here is the manager’s discriminatory behavior, which should never happen in any restaurant.
