Best Thai restaurant in my humble opinion. Very authentic food. Noodles are always perfectly cooked. Same with veggies & meat. A word of caution though. If you're sensitive to spicy food I wouldn't order anything above a 1, maybe 2 spice level. Prices are more than fair for extremely high quality Thai food.

They were questionable under new management about 6 months ago…but I just ordered the chicken red curry and it was really delicious…so it seems like they might be a good option again.

I've got a buddy who recently opened up a nail salon out here in the city. Twin sisters spa, next to the 7-Eleven and the barbershop. Check it out when you get a chance. I was helping him renovate the space in preparation for their grand opening and the night ran late. I'm leaving the city. I decided I needed some food before I hit the road and being a fan of Thai food, I decided to try this. For those of you who have read my other tie reviews, you will know that I chase this basil chicken dish that all Thai restaurants make, but there's a particular Thai restaurant that makes it the best for my palette that no longer is in business. The basil chicken at this Thai restaurant is almost identical to that experience so you can imagine that I was on cloud 9 with this dish. It was so good, that I came back to San Rafael and took my buddy here for dinner and all their other dishes were also fantastic. They were flavored just right with that classic Thai flavor where the concern at Thai restaurants typically is whether or not the dish is under flavored. He loved it, and have taken others here since. And I have also returned to take my family here as well and they enjoyed the experience also. I can say without a doubt that this is a great Thai food experience and the decor in their small restaurant seems very authentic Thailand as well. The restaurant is located in the downtown so I had a nice walk to and from the Spa. Every time I come into San Ramon or visit my friend at the nail salon, this is a must stop by for me. I also try and get him to bring me an order of basil chicken if he's coming back from there and passing by my home. I'm so happy that I can get my fix even if it is not as accessible as it used to be. Knowing I now have the option again is enough for me.

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant. We had Tom Kha - creamy, moderate spicy Thai soup with a coconut milk base, fresh rolls and miso salmon. Food is as always incredibly fresh and tasty.

Kimmy and I wandering down 4th street looking for patio dining 🍽 and came across my Thai. Ordered my Thai salad 🥗 and glass of fume blanc. We both enjoyed 😉. Kimmy gives two ❤️ paws up.

Tom Yum Soup tastes very well! Papaya salad had a very nice kick of its lime and chilies. Every dish accentuates itself. I will definitely eat here again!

February 2022: Came here for lunch and tried a My Thai salad and a healthy bowl. Both were really tasty. I thought the salad dressing for the My Thai salad was really yummy! Very good variety of veggies and grilled chicken! The healthy bowl had nice grilled salmon mixed with greens and grains. Would definitely come back again for more delicious Thai food.

Excellent Thai with some distinctive dishes, good meats and perfectly cooked vegetables. They have a truly excellent sticky rice and mango! But what makes it green?

I hadn't had good time food in a long time but this was really nice. Sat inside and it was not crowded. Very reasonable price and a lovely presentation. Our server was very sweet and helpful. I highly recommend it.

I ordered a pad se ewe on my first night in San Rafael and the food was so delicious and the next time I orders the chefs special deep fried fish and it was out of this world delicious.

I used the new My Thai app for take out order. Easy to use and received discount for first time use; received a text message with time range order would be done. Timely response; easy to pick up. Delicious and hot food; staff professional and friendly. Highly recommend SR restaurant.

Slightly pricier than other Thai restaurants for a reason....the food here is fantastic. Possibly the best bowl of noodles you can find in Marin County. Very good.

Lunch: Fresh rolls, they were huge & everything in them was balanced & clean, the sauces were excellent. Red Curry & Green Curry (add Prawns). Both were really good portions, enough to share, great prices too. Green Curry has a nice heat, this was delicious. I really love Thai food so I may be biased. Good server/s friendly & neat. Next time I visit the Bay Area I'm definitely eating here again.

This was our first time in this place and we enjoyed it a lot. Very attentive service and food was delicious. Plan to come back next time we drive by the area!!

Have gone to the San Refael location for over a decade, and the Fairfax location a few times as well. The food was always a bit inconsistent between great and just ok. Mostly great. The last year has been consistently dissapointing. Especially the Fairfax location. So tried San Rafael again, but no better. Not sure what happened, but hope they get back to being great.

We had the fish which came with a delicious sauce, pad thai which was soggy and lacking taste, pineapple fried rice which was okay, mix veg which was fine, the duck curry which was really good, and for dessert, the mango sticky rice. Dessert was decent as well. Overall pretty tasty thai food, but it is pricey at $40 per person.

The online ordering system did not send the correct notes to the restaurant (or they ignored it), so my dish was completely wrong. Paying the extra 5% service charge to the restaurant's own website just to get the wrong food, seemed like a bad deal. The food was good, but it wasn't what I ordered and paid for.

Ordered Vegetarian Drunken noodle for take out. There were barely any noodles and the noodles that were in the dish were not full length, as if being the end of the evening, the bottom of the barrel, so to speak. I was quite disappointed. I called them and asked if I came back could they give me some more noodles. They said no unless I paid for a side of noodles. I won't be going back.

First of all, we ordered the Chicken Satay as an appetizer and when we cut into it, we realized that the chicken was not fully cooked (pink in the middle). They did take the cost off but there should have been some other discount or show off apology for the ill-prepared meal, as uncooked chicken could render a customer quite sick. Although the rest of the meal was quite good and continued well prepared, the chef seems to have an obsession with bell peppers. Maybe some people enjoy them, but there was a plethora of bell peppers, dominating the entire dish (prawns and basil). The restaurant is fairly clean and orderly, the waitress was kind. The restaurant is quite pricy but the meals are sizeable enough (6-8 prawns to the dish, nice portions of duck, an unmeasurable amount of bell peppers). Despite the rest of the meal being somewhat decent, I do not trust returning. If anything, do not order anything with chicken and definitely do not come here if you are short on money.

Sadly this place used to be decent for lunch but its just not at all any more. I ordered take out and was astounded at how overpriced everything was and how terrible the food was. The PadThai was orange and reeked of dried shrimp. There was no sprinkle of peanuts, or flavor balance. No cilantro in it and the noodles stuck together. There were three oversized shrimp out of balance with the other ingredients. Simply the food does not maintain the Thai standard of sweet, savory, spice, tangy flavors. The drunken noodle was skimpy with very few noodles and the meat out of balance with the noodles and few vegetables. Not cut to size balance. The green curry was bland and fishy ... The sticky rice was a hard wad of rice ... simply not good. I am so sorry but for how expensive it was and the low quality I will never go there again. My favorite is usually pumpkin curry but at $18-21 a serving its ridiculous ...

I was looking forward to trying this out considering the reviews. The Satay chicken appetizer came out mostly uncooked and was sent back. That wasn't a good sign. Especially since no one bothered to apologise or offer recompense. The rest of the dishes had good flavor but contained way too much filler. Prawn dish maybe had 6 prawns and the rest were bell peppers. It was a disappointing experience. Won't be back on the basis of being served raw chicken alone.

I used to love this place years ago. We were driving through San Rafael and I thought I’d be great to have lunch there. Well, I wish we went elsewhere. The glass partition where we sat was disgustingly dirty. It looked like it had food splatters or something all over it. The whole restaurant just felt dirty. The food didn’t impress, I’ve had better. The coconut I ordered was moldy. Oh yes, and I killed a cockroach in the bathroom. Needless to say, that’s the last time I will ever go back.

I just got "Pad Thai" from there and it is HORRIBLE! pretty much boiled cold noodles with egg. I feel I have been robbed. This is horrible. I want my money back!

I am not even sure where to start. Firstly, the food that we ordered was not good. We ordered Pad Thai and it was a lump of noddles lacking any taste. We did a take away and when I checked the bill later they had charged us more then what was advertised in their website for all the items that we ordered.When I called the lady on the phone mentioned that the online system has not been updated. If that was the case then she should have informed us when we ordered over the phone looking at their online menu that the prices have changed. I would advise everyone going there to check their bill properly. I feel cheated

Found a worm in the food. Went out as a group of 13 people as we headed back from Point Reyes, we ordered plenty of dishes and found a medium sized worm. Couldn’t take a picture as when we showed it to the waiter they immediately took it to the kitchen and disposed it off. We didn’t want to make it a safety issue - as we assumed it was a mistake, but the restaurant wanted us to pay for the whole meal and offered us a discount of 20%. It was never about not paying for food. It was all about unhygienic conditions- after a lot of negotiations we ended up paying for the appetizers we ate. Unhygienic condition is one thing, and then not acknowledging is on another level.

We were extremely disappointed with our $90 meal tonight on 6/15/21. We started the meal with Vegetarian Springs only to realize halfway through —they gave us Chicken spring rolls by mistake!!! It ruined the entire meal. I got extremely sick. We are both vegetarian. We specifically requested that everything in our order was vegetarian. We tried to contact My Thai but they did not answer. This was Extremely upsetting.

I've been going here for a few years. Mediocre food at best, but slim pickings for Asian food in San Rafael. Poor rating due to customer service. I ordered through THEIR website and said they didn't get it. It was paid for. Their staff didn't care!!! I had to call the credit card to report for fraud. Warning for everyone else.

Ordered on uber eats. The peanut sauce spilled all over the spring rolls, so those were soggy. Got the basil fried rice and asked for no green beans, still had green beans. The drunken noodle was dry and mushy. Wings were decent.

This afternoon, we placed an online order for pickup at 5:15pm through MyThai’s website. When we arrived to pick up at 5:30, it was not ready. Several check-ins later, we were finally handed our food at 6:10, almost a full hour late. At 6:15, we received a phone call that they had forgotten to give us half of our order and that it was now ready. We were given a brusque apology, and told that they couldn’t offer a discount because the order had gone through a different platform (who then told us they couldn’t give a discount without the owner’s approval). They did say we could pick up a free Pad Thai next Sunday, but didn’t give us a physical coupon. The food was ok, but portions of it had clearly been waiting for us since 5:15. In particular, the crispy tofu had turned mealy and several other dishes were cold. I don’t think we’ll be going back.

There was a coupon in the mailer for My Thai and I haven't tried it, so I decided to go for pickup. The coupon mentioned dine in, and take out available, and the coupon was valid for Dinner only, no Lunch. when I got there to pick up my meal, they said the coupon was invalid for take out. the food was ok. Won't be going back. too bad for them, because I like thai food.

She never came by once to see if we needed anything. I had to go to the front desk to ask for our bill , after waiting 15 minutes I had to return to the front desk to pay the bill . When my wife and I go out to dine we are always respectful and polite to our servers because we know how hard they work. The service was so bad I felt I needed to write this review
