I stopped by Traders Point one day in the winter to try some of their products. It’s a nice place, and the restaurant keeps the area quite busy. They had a nice selection of dairy products, and I ended up buying some fresh goat cheese, their Fleur de la Terre cheese, some cottage cheese, and the chocolate milk. Everything was delicious and of great quality. It seems weird to especially point to it, but the chocolate milk was especially luxurious and rich; it reminded me of melted chocolate ice cream. The Fleur de la Terre cheese was also great, and had a slightly nutty flavor. If you like dairy products, I can’t recommend this creamery enough.
This was our first time and dinner was excellent. Our server Jonas was the best server we have had in the area. He was able to perfectly select the wine that went with our dinner. Everything that he said the wine would be, it was! His recommendations were spot on. The rolls were divine, the scallops were amazing, and I don't even want to know how much butter was in those perfect mashed potatoes. Portion size was perfect. We were just sad that we were too full to try dessert. We will definitely be back.
We went to Traders Point Creamery for our anniversary, and all I can say is WOW. That was my first time dining there and it was amazing. The food is so fresh and wonderful and the ambiance is magical. We got the beet salad and both had the filet, Out of this World! Love the cow imprint on the large ice for bourbon! Pascal and Carmen(our server) were absolutely outstanding, they went above and beyond to make sure our night was memorable. If I could give it 10 stars I would. Will definitely be back and will recommend! Thank you for a wonderful evening
I’ve been visiting Traders Point Creamery for 6 years now, and it has consistently remained in my top 3 favorite restaurants. This place is more than just a spot to eat — it’s an experience. From the charming farm setting to their unwavering commitment to organic, homemade food, every visit is memorable. Located on a beautiful working farm in Zionsville, this restaurant embraces everything that farm-to-table dining should be. Every product is made in-house — from their handcrafted cheeses to their decadent desserts — using fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients. You can truly taste the difference. The atmosphere is warm, rustic, and elegant, all at once. Whether you're planning a romantic date, a family meal, or simply a peaceful escape from the city, this place delivers. Dining surrounded by open fields and grazing cows, with buildings that reflect the soul of the farm, makes every meal feel like something special. The service is consistently outstanding. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they believe in the mission behind the restaurant and are proud to be part of it. Traders Point Creamery isn’t just a place to eat well — it’s a place that celebrates real food, thoughtful farming, and artisanal quality. If you’re anywhere near Indiana, this is a must-visit destination.
The self guided tour was fun. Dress appropriately if taking on the full loop. Recommend at least some pants. Shorts and ankle socks were not ideal. Was a bit more wilderness than we had anticipated, so the brush walk was a bit intense. Lunch at the Loft was awesome. Everything tasted good and fresh. We picked up some milk to go, whole milk and chocolate, and it was awesome.
This was our first visit there. Has a great atmosphere and the food is amazing. I had the 6oz filet and it was prepared perfectly, and you could cut it with a butter knife. Our waitress was polite, professional and super friendly. I highly recommend this place, but you definitely need reservations
We went for a little brunch here and were not disappointed! The manager and staff were very helpful and attentive and the cheese board was just as great as it looks! They have a store downstairs with some of their own and other locally sourced cheeses, meats and chocolate milk!! Also you can walk around the farm and see the cows and the chef's garden as well.
Traders Point Creamery I went to for the first time and it was fantastic! Worth going to. It was a recommendation and glad I listened. The restaurant, shop and rooms of farmland around is worth your time. This is the real deal of garden to tackle where they make seats winning cheese, veggies and most that you eat at the Loft Restaurant or can buy at the shop. I can't wait to go back. Service (Carmen is amazing!), quality and such a picturesque place.
Nostalgic farm setting with dairy cows. Quaint, rustic barn setting with a relaxed, cool vibe. Very friendly staff, like our server, Elliott. Didn’t rush us and was very attentive. The food is delicious and good value. And the French Chablis was yummy!😋. They have a Dairy ice cream bar as well as a cute little store upon entering the restaurant. Check out the romantic dream garden area!! Don’t miss this gem…it’s worth the drive to Zionsville!!
I enjoyed learning about the creamery and milking process during our tour. Miss. Brynn was attentive to details; friendly, patient, and knowledgeable about the entire process. We started out in the farmer's garden where all of their produce is grown on the premises organically. We met two cute calves named Hildebrand and Mango, who were just chilling in the barn. There was lots of walking throughout the property, and at the very end, we got samples of their delicious vanilla ice cream. I also ventured up through their restaurant to use the restroom, and it seemed so quaint. I would love to go back and dine with them.
The food and service were excellent. One of the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten. Both the cheese board and side roasted mushrooms were absolutely fabulous. Oh, make sure to check out the cows on your way out.
Absolutely delightful time with fantastic food and impeccable service. Was in a little bit of a rush to catch a flight after our meal, and the staff kept things moving, but we never felt rushed. Can't wait to go back.
Great location for meeting Santa! Lots of activities for kids (painting ornaments, decorating cookies, etc.), a hay ride, plus musicians playing and singing Christmas songs. It doesn't get much better than that.
what an amazing place! Grass fed steaks, homemade cheeses, homemade ice cream, farm to table beautiful venue! Stefani did an amazing job taking care of us while celebrating my wife birthday! The Yeast Buns and the Cheese charcuterie were to die for
Traders Point has the best Mac & Cheese ever!!! Not only that, but since you’re at a creamery, you get some of the freshest stuff imaginable. We had the cheese board, and everything on that was phenomenal. And after all of the amazing food (including a delicious burger!), we opted to get ice cream, which is something I recommend everyone here get!! I’ve been here twice, but this was my first time ordering ice cream, and now I sincerely regret not getting it last year! I’m a foodie, and Traders Point is undoubtedly one of my favorite restaurants ever. And I see they do weddings too 👀😅
It was that time of year again, my wife's annual Christmas party for Exercise Inc. We had such a wonderful meal and time together last year, so anticipation was high as we made our way to Trader's Point Creamery. We arrived a little early and were warmly greeted by Bre, Gab, and Carmen. They offered us our choice of drinks from the bar and invited us to enjoy a beautiful cheese and fruit plate while we waited. As dinner progressed, we were treated to exceptional food and service. Our servers kept our drinks refilled, removed plates promptly, and replaced silverware between courses. They were attentive without being intrusive, and the meal flowed smoothly. Each dish was more impressive than the last. As the meal concluded, a rumor made its way to me: Trader's Point Creamery supposedly had the best eggnog and ice cream around. My wife had been on an eggnog kick for the last two months, so naturally, my interest was piqued. I snuck down to the dairy checkout area, where Margo confirmed what I'd heard about the eggnog. I quickly grabbed a bottle to surprise my wife after our meal. The night was filled with great food, great people, and that coveted eggnog. As we left for the evening, we discussed adding Trader's Point to our regular date calendar. If you enjoy great food, exceptional service, and unique, flavorful dairy items, from artisan cheese to that legendary eggnog and ice cream, then get yourself to Trader's Point Creamery. You won't be sorry you did!
Absolutely beautiful atmosphere and the food was fantastic as well! The service was impeccable, friendly and helpful. We look forward to coming back for dinner and a tour around the farm. The blue cheese was the best I’ve ever had.
We enjoyed this place so much we took the time to disconnect from the city and interact with nature and farm life. The food was amazing it can’t get any fresher and you can really taste the difference. We also did the farm tour saw the baby cows and finished off with milkshakes. Thank you so much for sharing your farm with us.
This farm-style restaurant is just breathtaking! The building, the decoration and setting, the friendly and attentive staff are few of the things that made me and my famly love this place. Then, there is the food...OMG!!! The freshness, the combination of flavors, the taste... Absolutely superb! We were on vacation and decided to try something different; so happy, pleased and delighted we found this unique and exquisite place!
The atmosphere of this place is awesome. Lots of nice places to sit and you can go see the animals and talk to some of the staff depending on when you go. The food and ice cream is great. There's only a few flavors of ice cream but they're all good and are made with dairy from the farm! This would also be a good wedding venue.
We had a wonderful small wedding (~20) here at the Beach Porch. The communication and planning was very good, and we felt well-prepared for the spring event. The May wedding was very HOT, but that is the only complaint we could have about this fantastic event. The staff were wonderful, helpful, and friendly. The drinks were delicious... but the food is where this place really shined. Our guests raved about the braised beef, and desert was sublime. We would highly recommend this as a wedding venue, especially for an intimate, small group. We are thankful to the group that made our day perfect.
Great outdoor walk for kiddos! Our boys 2 & 6 easily managed the trail. The chocolate chip peanut butter cookies are the perfect sweet treat when you’re done!
Took my 8 year old for the first time. She LOVED the dairy bar ice cream, feeding baby cows, and playing in the sand next to the pond. The staff was incredible. Fantastic afternoon. Kids menu is limited but reasonably priced. Adult meals are delicious but a little expensive. Chicken and waffles was good. Paying $6 to walk the grounds seemed odd but feeding the cows made it worth it.
My husband surprised me with Mother's Day brunch here, we've been wanting to go, but just never made it. We absolutely loved it! The atmosphere is so relaxing and beautiful, my 2.5 year old truly enjoyed being able to look outside over the grounds from our table and be able to go out on the patio to look at the beautiful property. The service was fantastic, our server made great suggestions, was very helpful, and very timely. Everything was absolutely delicious! We definitely plan on going again to try dinner!
Incredible. We went here early for our 10th anniversary breakfast date. We reserved a spot outside, but ended up having to ask for an outside seat because they seated us inside when we arrived. We ended up on the outdoor balcony, which has a beautiful view of the farm. We had a nice spot with plenty of shade and a little sun. The food was absolutely incredible. The cheese board is amazing and we had the best biscuit and gravy in our lives. The man serving us was very friendly and helpful as well! We beat the rush by reserving early, which was very relaxing and enjoyable. It becomes pretty busy around lunch time. Totally will be back! We loved everything about our visit!
A favorite location to bring our visitors and my colleagues. We enjoy the atmosphere and the food here. The staff are always so helpful and kind. Karen one of the managers made our Christmas visit special just by being extra kind. I love brunch on Sundays with my husband. The Christmas vibes were so awesome this year.
We hike around the property ($3 per person) for a self-guided tour. It's so is lovely! I love nature, so all of the birds, dragonfly, flowers, trees, and cows are my jam. Petting a baby cow is so awesome! It's about 3 miles round trip. You can go down by eagle creek, it flows through that area. I call it a babbling brook. There's a huge tree way back in the woods that you hike through. We always stop for a picture. It's shaded most of the way. The front person is going to get spider webs in their face. But it's not that bad, you just know you walked through some threads. We try to start summer break by going on a hike there. Then the real treat is ahead of you... ICE CREAM! They have the best ice cream! My daughter got vanilla with whipped cream and sprinkles. I got vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and toffee crumbles, so delicious!!!! Go there!
Hands down, the creamery has some of the best brunch, best service, and best atmosphere in town! The staff were both courteous and accommodating- particularly re: food allergies. Additionally all the dairy-based products (from butter, to frosting, to cheese, and ice cream) are made in house- and it shows. This Nut-free reviewer approves! ☺️
I didn’t make a reservation or anything, came in at 3pm and I was able to see many cows with a little hike. People here are very friendly and I would high recommend coming with a family.
Traders Point Creamery is nothing short of magical. From the moment you step onto the property, you can feel the care, passion, and farm-to-table authenticity that makes this place truly special. It’s not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. Everything here is truly organic, fresh, and bursting with flavor. You can taste the quality in every bite, knowing it comes straight from their own farm. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, seasonal, and celebrates real ingredients the way food is meant to be enjoyed. The atmosphere is serene and charming, with beautiful countryside views and a warm, rustic elegance that instantly makes you feel relaxed and connected to nature. Whether you're dining indoors or overlooking the pastures, every moment feels peaceful and genuine. The service is exceptional—staff are knowledgeable, kind, and clearly proud of what they do. They’re happy to share where the food comes from, which makes every dish feel even more meaningful. From their unbelievably fresh dairy, artisanal cheeses, and perfectly prepared entrées, to the decadent desserts you’ll dream about later—Traders Point Creamery sets the standard for organic dining. It’s the kind of place you leave feeling nourished, grateful, and already planning your next visit. A true hidden gem and my absolute favorite restaurant—pure, honest, delicious food at its finest.
We visited Traders Point Creamery in Zionsville and absolutely loved it. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, with that perfect farmhouse charm. Their restaurant, The Loft, is upstairs and has such a cozy, rustic feel. The food was delicious — everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. You can really tell they use locally sourced, organic ingredients straight from the farm. It’s a great spot for a relaxed meal in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!
This is an amazing find in Zionsville, Indiana and we make a point of going here every time we're in the area. The best time of year is definitely in Spring, when the fresh wild greens and mushrooms are on the menu, but the menu is excellent all year 'round. They are extremely accommodating of food allergies as well, recommending alternatives and willing to alter dishes where possible. Do not miss the yeast rolls with spiced butter; you will not be disappointed!
A unique, heartwarming dining experience! Historic, country setting on acres of wooded farmland. The dining experience can be perfect for a warm, cozy date night while other areas of the restaurant can accompany the perfect family gathering. The food is exceptional with many items made from the milk of the farm dairy cows. After a fabulous dining experience you are able to walk around the grounds and take in the natural beauty of the setting of this amazing restaurant.
What a phenomenal place to dine! The setting is a small working farm where most of the produce is grown and cheeses made. What is not from the grounds is brought in from local organic farms. The building is an old barn giving even more charm to the experience. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The pork chop was cooked to perfection and the service was fantastic. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday so make reservations!
Such a cute place, finally learned of their hours, since it is confusing online. Dairy bar is open when the farm store is open. Great icecream and apple pie, brownie is just ok. Overall beautiful and fire being built outside and Christmas lights when we left.
Another fantastic experience at this restaurant. Our server Jeannie and Pascal went above and beyond to ensure we we're satisfied overall. I wish the general store was open later so we could shop after we dine. We LOVE the gf cookies. See you soon!
The wife and I took the kids here for part of our vacation adventure and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The atmosphere the food the staff it was all perfect 10 out of 10 would recommend
Delicious dinner including a charcuterie appetizer to share and then our entrees were steak, halibut and burgers. Everything was perfect, right down to the impeccable service. So glad we took our traveling guests here!
Super cute cows! Nice little store! Natural farmland with truly free-range cows! Amazing restaurant with the best tasting food straight from the farm! Best filet mignon ever! Sorry cows - you're adorable but you taste really good too!
Great all organic food, great cocktails, I had the burger and they offered gluten free options! 2 thumbs up for anyone with Ceilacs. The desert menu is to die for! Everything is locally sourced or grown on the farm. Very impressed and we had a great night.
Wonderful place to visit! They were very inviting, the food was delicious, and Margo was an absolute gem!! She was so helpful in telling us the opportunities available at the location and was so sweet to our girls. She made the experience magical! Meeting the baby calves was such a fun experience! We hope to come back soon!!
We had a wonderful experience on Valentine’s Eve and the atmosphere is unique. We have been visiting the creamery for over 10 years and the menu is continuously varied and the portion sizes have even increased! Highly recommend!
★★★★★ Absolutely outstanding experience at The Loft at Trader Point Creamery! Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious – from the farm-fresh starters to the entrees and desserts, everything was perfectly prepared, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients that really showcase their farm-to-table philosophy. You can taste the care in every bite. Our waitress Gaby was an absolute gem: attentive, professional, warm, and genuinely pleasant the entire evening. She made great recommendations and took fantastic care of us without ever feeling rushed. A special shout-out to the assistant manager Pascal – he was absolutely fantastic! He stopped by our table, checked in personally, and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. His passion for the restaurant and hospitality really shines through. The Loft never disappoints, but this visit was truly exceptional thanks to the incredible food and even better service from Gaby and Pascal. We’ll be back very soon – highly recommend!
❤️ 100% Certified Organic food in Indiana?! I moved here from California and was so happy to find this restaurant and farm. Real, VERY fresh, organic, pasture raised, raw dairy, etc - why eat at any other restaurant and pay for poison? The only thing this restaurant needs to improve on is to take a name when we call for pick up or reservations - because… how else would you know who the order belongs to? They always take our order and hang up lol, so when we get there we have to tell them what we ordered and when we called, etc.. Simply take a name. One other mention and HOPE is that they would deliver through DoorDash, etc because although it’s nice to visit the farm, store, and restaurant and get take out or dine in - sometimes this exhausted nurse just can’t make the drive LOL but needs nourishment from organic cooked food! I absolutely and highly recommend though. I’ve told all the other nurses and even patients on my unit to come eat here. :)
The ONLY reason I gave this place a 4 is because I asked the waiter if the fish was farm raised or wild caught. I felt that a restaurant that highlights farm to table should know where their fish came from. The food is always exceptional and fresh and the flavors that combine is always fun to experience. The character of the restaurant alone is worth the trip. It’s gorgeous. I’ll continue to return.
Lovely place for brunch or a small intimate event. Pretty outdoor spaces and organic food. Definitely worth a visit. We called in for brunch which was fine. Lost a star for cold coffee and potatoes. I had eggs Benedict my husband has chicken and waffles. Great service.
We did a tour with a group of other children and they divided us up into younger and older kids. I think this was a good idea as the information could be catered to the age group. There were several areas in the tour, such as the garden, milking area, production area, and baby cows. Wear walking shoes as you will be outside walking from place to place. But it overall kept the kids' interest and was interesting! Beautiful property. We especially enjoyed petting the baby cows. Stayed for lunch afterwards! The food was good but took a little while to get which was challenging for tired/hungry little folks. But overall this was a great day!
Sunday brunch at LTP is full of down home mid-western goodness. You enter the restaurant through the country store filled with jellies—jams and a host of items to buy. As we ascended the creaking and crackling stairwell we could hear chatter above us. The log cabin restaurant was packed. We had a reservation but we still had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. We didn’t have a very attentive waiter, but we muddled through. The cinnamon roll is fluffy and buttery. The soft—creamy—silky frosting, and sweet goodness melted in my mouth. They could have gone a little lighter on the frosting but my sister could not have disagreed more. The biscuit, dense and heavy was dry; the grits were too watery for my liking but again my sister could not have disagreed with me more. My eggs were over cooked. She said her scrambled eggs were airy and softly cooked. As you can tell we had a three little bears dining experience but we both agreed the cinnamon roll and decor were definitely the stars of our dining experience.
Was excited to try a local farm to table spot and maybe it was because we came in the winter but was sadly disappointed. The food tasted pre made, warmed, any anything but fresh. The potatoes showed signs of crunch but must have been sitting around as they were so wet, cold and soaked in oil they left a puddle on my plate. I’m honestly impressed at how bad they were. The French dip was good but with the gluten free bread it was tiny, stale and not worth the $17 + $3 for gluten free bread. The spicy chicken sandwich sadly didn’t taste fresh nor have any spice and came barely dressed. The ice cream was good but the rest wasn’t for us.
Traders Point Creamery is a beautiful space with genuinely good food. The atmosphere sets expectations high, and the menu pricing reinforces that this is meant to be a premium dining experience. Unfortunately, the service did not come close to matching the price point or the setting. The server did the bare minimum: took the order, recited the specials, delivered the food, and disappeared. No engagement, no attentiveness, no checking on drinks, no sense of hospitality. The food also took a noticeable amount of time to arrive, with no communication or follow-up. What truly soured the experience was the automatic 20% gratuity, added without discussion. A mandatory gratuity might be understandable when service is attentive and elevated. Here, it felt unjustified and frankly disrespectful. Guests should not be forced to reward average service, especially when they are already paying premium prices for every item on the menu. Gratuity should reflect service quality, not be treated as an entitlement. At a restaurant positioning itself at this level, excellence should be the standard—not optional, and certainly not compulsory to tip for simply having food delivered to the table. Beautiful place. Good food. But until service and policies align with the brand they’re trying to project, the experience feels incomplete and overpriced.
