We recently had an incredible happy hour experience that was all about good food, drinks, and the perfect vibe. The lineup we ordered included calamari, sliders, and sweet potato fries, and each dish was a standout. The calamari was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not overly greasy. Paired with a flavorful dipping sauce, it was one of the best we’ve had and set the tone for a delicious spread. Next came the sliders, which were an absolute treat. The patties were juicy, well-seasoned, and served on soft, fresh buns. Topped with crisp veggies and cheese, each slider was packed with balanced flavors and just the right size to make you want more without being overwhelming. They were ideal for sharing or enjoying solo. The sweet potato fries rounded out our order. These were just the right blend of crispy and soft, seasoned perfectly to highlight their natural sweetness. The dipping sauce added a touch of extra flavor, making them an irresistible snack. A side note that made this happy hour even better: they offer half-off wine bottles on Tuesdays and Thursdays! This deal is perfect for wine lovers looking to elevate their happy hour experience. On top of it all, the service was fantastic. Our server was attentive, ensuring we had refills and everything we needed. Delicious food, nice atmosphere, and good service. From the patio seating you can watch the sunset as you eat. As a foodie, we like to try dishes you don’t see everyday. We tried the Crispy Chicken Buns. Those really made my night to find unique dish that was ghat good. Note for some, they are a little spicy. We also enjoyed the halibut. It was most, favorable, and cooked perfectly. They also have space in a back area for seating.

Discoverd where the locals go and there is a reason. Service was outstanding with very fun staff. I have been looking for really good buttermilk fried chicken and found it. Corn and broccoli accompanying it...perfect. A variety of dishes. Can't imagine a person wouldn't find something they would thoroughly.

Great view if you have a deck table, fun and romantic feel. Not too crowded outside. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and quick. A tad pricey for Valentine’s day but is too be expected. Tip big anyways as these guys deserve every penny. Will be back!

This place is a gem, it has a nice bar area for a quick drink and catch up, also outdoor dining area for a cozy experience, and even a private room for a special gathering, and an upstairs area for more quiet, dining experience, It is very well layout for upscale dining. Our group has been there before and we obviously came back because we had a good experience, But this time around the service was very slow, It took 45 minutes for someone to take our order, And then another 25 minutes, for us to get our appetizers. I was honestly starving, so of course it made me notice things even more. We also waited very long time for drinks. And one of our food orders was the wrong dish, so someone in our group had to wait extra time for the food to come. It was nice that the dish was comped, but it added to the wait. And a server didn’t really came checking on us to see how the food was, or if anyone needed anything else so we didn’t have the chance to order more drinks or water, etc. We only saw him when dropping off food, or picking up plates. Other than that, the food was delicious, They oysters fresh, the desserts incredible.

Welcoming environment through the open design and service. Chose the Blackened Shrimp Salad on my visit. In my opinion, the salad was overpriced at 32$.

Sbicca seems to be our go-to when my friend and I stay in Del Mar, convenient, good Happy Hour and 1/2 wine bottle days. We were in Del Mar for an extended stay and ended up dining here 4 time, all for Happy Hour at the bar area and meeting friend for dinner on the street level patio area. Out of all the times the service from the Bar and Jose on the patio was excellent. This is a great place to meet friends. As far as drinks go, the bar makes excellent Skinny Margaritas, Bloody Marys, Espresso and Regular Martinis and their 1/2 off wine days are great. Food has always been consistently good. The Mussels, Shrimp Fettuccini, Crispy Chicken Buns, Farm Burger, Salmon Crudo and the Meatballs all hot and fresh. The Mussels and burgers were excellent. Atmosphere: nice relaxing vibe, both indoor and outdoor seating. Service: excellent at Bar & Patio. Food: good.

I liked the food, I ordered the Sirloin Taco with fries. It was good, but it would have been better if they put two tortillas on it as the meat soaked through one tortillas pretty quick and if they would have chopped the meat up for taking tacos sized bites. I had to chow a giant slice in one bite. The other food was good too . If you read this review as the owner, manager, or chef take a few seconds to add a tortilla at least. And chop it would make it a 5 star taco. And no need to increase the price for those small changes.

Food and service was great. Very busy on a Friday so recommend reservations. We shared their wedge salad w/blue cheese. Highly recommend. It was perfect for sharing as we don’t eat too much. My hubby has the tuna and I had the swordfish. My first time trying swordfish and really wanted to try it. It was pretty good and the cook on the fish perfect. Swordfish in general is a very light tasting fish though. If you haven’t tried it u must give it a go. I recommend. The tuna however was phenomenal! Man the sauce so tasty and the cook on the tuna perfect!! If you’re a tuna person then this dish is a must

The food was good but would definitely lean to specific menu items. The fried chicken and steamed buns were fantastic. Calamari was good but wouldn't get again. The crab cakes were good and proved some good variety in how they were served. I was a big fan of the Lobster Shrimp Bisque but my wife didn't like it as much. Service was good and staff was friendly and the upstairs has a decent view of the water.

Excellent area, just 2 blocks from the ocean makes for a beautiful view. The food was great. Our service was slow and average. I’ll give this place a second chance. Maybe we get lucky.

The food is good, but the cleanliness is unacceptable. The dining area and kitchen are very dirty. We rented a room upstairs and the windows were covered in black dust. Although the waiter was polite, his hands and nails were visibly dirty. I asked for a lime for my water, and he brought it directly in his hands instead of on a plate, which was disgusting. We also saw the kitchen floor, which was extremely dirty, and the ventilation above the cooking area was dripping with sweat and grease. After seeing this, I did not feel comfortable eating there. The location is great, but the lack of hygiene and proper maintenance makes this place feel unhealthy.
