As far as McDonald's go, the one in Delmar is pretty good. They are consistent, have good service, and their fries are slightly better than other locations.
There is this guy. Named big Mike, hes a great worker. He always has a friendly attitude. Hes friendly with children. Hes a really hard worker, he deserves a Raise

Delmar McDonald's always has ice cream and service with a smile. I drive a little further to go to this one instead a few miles down the road to Salisbury.
You have the best food I've ever seen in my life
I didn’t really went inside McDonalds. We just went in the restaurant so that my sister could get herself something to eat. Because she had her teeth pulled out so she’s only allowed to eat soft foods. But she was kind enough to get me her cheeseburger and it was delicious.
Okay I know it's only McDonald's, but this is the best McDonald's for service and food out of all of them in our area. Whenever I want my caramel Frozen drink with extra caramel.. they have it. You would think all of them would have it but... no! I use the online app which really seems to help get your order right. Most the time I just run inside and pick it up and it's already ready. Not all other locations is the same. This is the only location that I've not had any major issues with. Actually I haven't had any issues. And it's clean.
This McDonald's does a great job. I frequent drive thru and occasionally meet friends to dine in for breakfast. Each time I have been there lately, it has been a very pleasant experience. Brittany is our favorite in the drive thru, but we get treated well by the others too. Also, when we do dine in, we are greeted by friendly faces, and even get a sincere "have a nice day!" It is so refreshing to have people waiting on me that are actually kind and friendly. Sure, nothing's perfect, but the crew working there now works hard, and it is evident in the quality of food and especially the service!
Best McDonald's around the lady that helped me was bringing out food to parked cars tonight around 630 I wish I would of gotten her name but I just wanted to say thank you again for helping this mom out tonight when I accidently dropped my kids McFlurry out of the drink carrier while trying to lay it in my passenger seat. She without hesitation went to my passenger side door and helped me put it back in the tray nothing slipped yet she was that quick to help me you really made this mom's night I hope you get a raise!
They had upgraded this McDonald's to one with ordering by touch screen or ordering the normal way. There has never been an outrageous wait time that I've drove up on at this one. I've never found anything wrong with the food besides the normal health concerns for any McDonald's. The $1,$2,$3 menus are awesome too. Right there in bold for when you're low on cash but need to eat or grab the kids lunch. I will give them that. They do come in handy for when you're scraping change up.
Went to pick up a mobile order today and there was a system issue. My app said "Paid" but the cashier couldn't find my order. The manager and all staff i spoke with were super helpful and were able to get my order out to me fast! Delmar is my favorite location because of things like this!
Great location and reasonably priced meals, especially with app deals. I appreciated this morning. I was greeted at the first window with the lady I just gave a good review on through their app. Then when I went to pick up my food at the second window, she popped her head out and thanked me for the review. I'm sharing this because these reviews make a difference. When there is a staff member doing their best and making them stand out more than the rest, it's important that they get recognized by it. Today's interaction was a result of taking a few minutes out of my morning to be kind and show compassion. This world's full of too much negativity, share the positive moments! Thank you again Brittany!!! Thank you McDonalds for hiring her! I will always appreciate great customer service!
Hit or miss usually. Still better then Seaford. However for the first time in about a year since I've started going when I get a Mcurge...I got stale fries and a 2hr almost 3 past the time pie. It was gummy stuck to the crust so bad I could look straight through it and I just couldn't finish it. After the first bite.
Not as good as I remember before 2010 hit! But I still find myself visiting 3 times a week. Always ordering the same items. Which ever one of the two meals I like, I always add 3 apple pies! Depending on the location, I can predict how sweet the tea will be. I'm still mad they don't offer the parfae anymore, or breakfast mcgriddles all day! I've recently been experiencing a breakout of Acne lately, far past puberty. All signs pointing towards the greasy food i eat here. But I can't seem to let it go entirely. Lasting a week or 2 before just impulsive ordering again!
Standard McDonald's. Rating changes depending on who's working, but overall does standard job. Can be frustrating waiting when there's a rush, so I recommend using the app to pre-order when on the way or in line. Definitely suggest looking at the deals as they can be money saving.
It was OK.kind of a long wait, but only one other person in the drive thru. First time they forgot one of the sandwiches.... the other time there was police activity(obv not their fault, but we sat there for 15 minutes waiting. Very friendly though, which is why 4 stars. Will probably go back.
Usually it's really trashy and the employees are trashy and rude, but this time I went it was very nice. They were extremely friendly and nice! Let me pick out the specific happy meal toy I wanted. (I'm a Little) And were kind, dressed nice, and polite. Very good food! Clean table! Clean floor! Fast service!
The people at McDonalds are always polite and helpful, however they suffer the same problem as nearly all fast food places; if you order more than one meal chances are there will be a.missing item. I've gotten in the habit of not leaving the drive through window before checking the bag.
They never tell you during the ordering process that there is going to be a wait. Then you get to the window, and they park you. If they made me aware, I would just order something else. This can be an issue if you're on lunch break and only have 30 min. My only other complaint is that once waiting, the fries are hit or miss on being fresh.
Drove by from Delaware shortly before into Maryland. There were four self serving kiosks. Got a table tent in order to key into our order. There were a few breakfast items running Buy One Get One For $1 sales. Our breakfast was ready within 10 minutes. The sausage biscuit, the sausage McMuffin, and the sausage burrito were all in the expected quality and condition.
It wasn't very busy and we stood around waiting to pay after doing the self order waiting for someone to finally let us pay. On a positive note when we were finished eating a worker came over and cleared our table for us.
a bit messy, food was made messy. everything was pretty much squashed as if The Rock was working back there with his big hands just smashing every sandwich after he wraps them. Fries were soggy as if they were put in a paper bag shipped them to the sea then returned them.
The food was ok. McDonald's food doesn't taste like it used to back in the 60's, 70's and 80's. And this McDonald's, it seems the workers aren't happen to be working there, because basically there's no welcome to McDonald's when you enter nor have a nice day when you leave the restaurant.
What can I truly say about McDonald's? When the food is fresh its a place to get food fast.. I get the chicken McNuggets for a treat for my dogs when they are riding..I'm not big on their food as it at times turns my stomach .. but the coffee drinks are good and I do actually love the Ice Tea tho..
The employee who took my order was very friendly, fast and polite. The store was dirty. It needed to be swept, the soda machine needed attention and the bathroom needed attention as well. I only saw teenagers standing around, talking and laughing in a group behind the counter, not professional.
1st time:dinner The food was basically hanging on her hand when I got up to the window and it was hot. The 2nd time: I got parked in the drive through. And during a pandemic they are digging through peoples bags and auctioning peoples food off basically because they parked so many cars they don't know who's is who's. Are you kidding me? Does corporate dock you so badly on long window times you have to have everyone park and wait. I asked her why do you not have a ticket on the bag so you know whats inside she said they didn't put it on the bags? What are you doing?
Usually have good service here, have used the online ordering thru the Android App. Works ok ....TILL you get to restaurant, took 13 mintues to get food brought out, one time then 10 mintues the next, yeah I know I could've went in, or went through the drive in, but I wanted the pick up option to work, it's easier but 10-13 mintues is unacceptable. Come on Delmar Mcds TRY a little harder.please.Im a Delmar Local citizen.
Ordered a 4 piece chicken nugget Happy Meal with Fries, apple slices and milk on 3/19/22. Asked for a 3 years and under toy instead of the Mario Kart toy for 3 years and up. Was RUDELY told several times that the toys are the same for any age. Clearly states on the package that toy is NOT INTENDED for children 3 and under. My 1 year old didn't get his toy because of this. Employees at this McDonald's need a lesson on customer service and their attitude. Educate them on the toys too. Some of the people at this one don't like it when the customer tells them their order is wrong. Who knows what they do to the food when you do complain. They also do not place your order as you say. I ordered the 2 burrito MEAL with is 2 burrito's, hash browns and a drink. They changed it all up and my order was wrong. I'd rather travel the extra 3 miles to N. SALISBURY for better service. The prices of food there is getting ridiculous. I'm giving it 3 stars because there is several employees who are friendly and know their regular customers.
Let's see first day got order wrong girl did not pay attention second day order a large coffee cake to 1.39 gave girl 5.39 and ask for recipt. The girl didnt know how to change the recipient tape she give me my change I put it on the seat when got to work I picked it up and noticed she only gave me 3 dollars. Simple math today these teens dont know. It's not that hard to change recipient tape plus if you cant read the screen all I can say is wow.
For the love of GOD, flurry the McFlurry better!! Putting the topping in, then briefly whipping the top is not good enough. I've gotten three from this location, the first was awesome, but the last two were just 90% solid vanilla. Sure won't be getting another one from this location.
I used to love it but the Food is too greasy and I have a peanut, tree nut allergy and they use peanut oil now. I do still go sometimes for milkshakes sometimes though those are good.
Food was Lukewarm at best and was barely any ketchup or mustard on my Mcdouble. I had a taste for this and a Mcchicken and was disappointed with both. Water was also dripping from the ceiling where you get your drinks. This is Delmar Delaware location. One positive staff was very friendly.
Went thru drivethru. Ordered 2 items and they could not get 2 items correct. Ordered bacon egg and cheese and sausage egg and cheese. Asked for jelly over speaker. Got to second window no jelly. Had to ask again. Bag looked ok. Got home 1 wrapper said bacon, 1 said sausage. Both sandwiches were sausage. So checking the wrappers before you leave doesnt even work. Tryed to call and phone line was blocked.
Ordered 2 quarter pounds with cheese meals. They replaced the regular size burger with 1 big mac burger. Plus the burgers were burnt. We were not happy when we got home to eat.
Never had a issue with the food... The wait is way to long for two burgers at a fast food place then to have multiple people just standing laughing having a good time(alright when slow) when you are busy is another issue.(good workers quit because of this).

Got breakfast this morning at drive thru. The lady taking your money was very friendly and had her full face mask on, got to the pickup window and both girls had their facemask pulled way below their nose bearly covering their mouth. I mentioned it to her and she grinned at me and walked away. This is why we have store closings...no management!!

I came in the lobby at 11:00 bc the drive thru was backed up. The manager waited on me and was very abrupt and rude. Kept repeating that the lobby was closed but only after I started to plate my order. I had no issue with going through the drive thru but if the lobby is closed don’t let me in and take my order only to be rude later. It’s honestly your own fault for leaving the door unlocked and taking my order in the first place
Went for breakfast and ngl it was a waste of my $18, got parked for a good ten minutes and they couldn’t even give me the right food. Ordered two of the bagels with steak and they gave me one with bacon, and the steak sandwhich that i did get didnt even have the sauce it had mayonnaise which isnt something everyone likes.. The coffee was nasty and didnt get one carmel like i ordered. Would have gone back but didnt feel like arguing.
Stopped today at 11 am to get sausage McDuffie and burritos. Asked if they still had breakfast. Staff was very curt and said no. I asked about all day breakfast and was told no was long time ago. Checked website for Delmar location and it still says sausage mcmuffin on all day menu. Just left because staff was so rude.
They messed my order up 5 times already and they are refusing to answer the phone when I call,,, n refuse to serve me when I go in there
Awful service horrid bathroom cleanliness management was disreputable as well as incompetent. Pains me to say it , but I cannot believe that in 2017 there are still establishments in Sussex county , DE that actually get away with how substandard they treat their customers. I u derstand one doesn't go to McDonald's expecting more than fast food however we waited in line in the drive in for at least 20 minutes to be met by a completely inept and ignorant employee. t which time, we attempted to seek service inside. We were met with an equally lackluster managerial staff and blah blah blah awful help inside like please just God can't we get the meal we expect for the price we expect that's all we wanted instead we were turned away good luck Sussex county you suck
This place is ridiculous. Got my order wrong as usual and accidentally switched orders with the person next to me. I got their food and they got mine. We both went back after opening each other's food and let them know. They knew we opened it and touched the food and put it back on the warmer for the next customer! So gross. Never again. Terrible customer service!!

3rd time is not the charm apparently. Morning shift has always forgotten something, had the line backed way up and goodness help you if you are asked to pull forward. You will have to wait till the whole line clears out before getting your food. It's now September. Let me tell you I have learned my lesson. Insulted by the staff who forgot half of what I purchased and despite reminder when asked to pull up still did not remember ketchup or napkins or drinks. Fed up. Never again
Ordered online, Significant other went to pick it up on her way to work. Worker at first window wouldn't help and just said it's not on her screen. Instead of trying to be helpful, just said theres nothing she can do and doesn't know what to do. Go some where else to spend your money. And yet you people want 15$ a hour?
McDonald's is a shell of it self, meaning, the food is not like it was many years ago. They want more money for less, and the food is not hot when they give it to you. I think they know it, in my case, they give to you knowing you going to ride away, and once you discover the food is not good or hot I'm so far down the road or in my case had to be at work, that you don't have time to go back. Bottom line, people just don't care anymore. 😞
Large fry container was half full. Questioned the shift supervisor who proceed to the frier to damp toss cup of fries in the bag over top the other food with attitude and then said have a nice day...
Food is never fresh, even when asked. Old and sloppy food. Put together without any care. There was no dinner rush but they threw the sandwich together as if McDonalds was burning down.
I just came through the drive-through at 12:33, and let me tell you that the girl that was handing the food out was very rude. She handed me the bag, and never said a thing. Then she handed me my soda, never said anything again, and just closed the window, and started talking to another worker. I don't know what it is about this restaurant, but most of the employees that work in the drive though, shouldn't be allowed to be around any customers! They don't smile or say Thank You.. This is an everyday thing!!
Waiting over a hour for my food. Just a happy meal and big mac. They got my order wrong 5 times not even close to what I ordered and then again a sixth time so I just left.
We order at least 4 days a week as a office, one person puts the order in on mobile app, we are closes enough we can check in from outside and then someone will go pick up. TODAY they had to have the phone that put the order in, I wouldnt let strangers touch my phone no matter what thats my personal property and I have never had to give my phone to MCDONALDS to put a mobile order in. Typically we give them the code and all is good. Manager was unwilling to really listen and kept saying the phone had to be with hte person picking up the order even though the app let me check in and said give them the number at the drive through. So $37 dollars of food wasted because they needed the pick up person to prove it was from their phone even though how else would they have gotten the CODE
My food was sloppy, my fries were way too salty and when I asked for some without salt the girl seemed upset so I put the food down on the counter and walked away!!!!! Last time at this location
Granddaughter wanted collectpr cups went Friday night got 2 big Mac dinners then they tell us sold out be more in Monday my wife goes by Monday night to get nuggets and cups and guy tells her they are no longer doing the cups it's over .so one of them is a freaking lier either guy Friday or guy Monday either way food at Delmar McDonald's sucks and most people working in their are rude save your time aggravation a money go to Salisbury mickey ds or better yet anywhere but McDonald's .stay away from Delmar mc Donald's nothing good happens there just leave with half ass food or an attitude
So I go through the drive-thru which is supposed to be fast. Three cars already corralled outside the drive-thru, they asked me to pull ahead I asked them what is that going to achieve. They said it helps move along the process. So 10 minutes past still sitting waiting for my food, I decided to go in and get my money back. I asked for my $5 back for my two Quarter Pounders. The manager then yelled I needed to lower my voice and that I need to fix my attitude. The worker that was behind her also said something to that effect. She was holding my double Quarter Pounders. They both started saying that I needed to walk out I returned with a different attitude and a lower voice. The whole time I use no profanity I was not ignorant I was not loud. So I left that day with no food or my $5
This McDonalds is a reminder of why you shouldn’t be eating McDonalds in the first place. The food is ALWAYS trash! Breakfast, lunch it doesn’t matter the food is literally thrown together. Got breakfast and the food was cold at 8 in the morning. Got lunch and the food wasn’t event ready. Waited for my sandwich and when I got it it wasn’t event fried all the way and dripping with grease. Fries were stale and cold. Why make me wait to have a “fresh” sandwich only to give me old fries. Do not waste your money when royal farms in next door and the food is better.
Perhaps the worst McDonald’s in the State. Employees don’t care, food is always cold and old. Employees take their time answering the drive thru. You can have the most simple order and they will mess it up. You might as well say “give me what you want me to have today” when you pull up. They should just fire all their employees and start fresh. Clearly they don’t care about the customers. Ironically the customers are the reason they have a job.
Went through the drive thru an ordered a number 9 combo. But they rang it up as just a sandwich and drink. So when I didn't get my hashbrown i went back through the line to ask for my hash brown. And they told us we couldn't get it because we didn't buy one. But we said we ordered the combo. Not our fault the didn't ring it up as a combo. So if we wanted one we would have to buy it. Worst service ever. Terrible management.
THEY CALLED THE POLICE ON ME FOR ASKING DONTEL (1 of their management team) FOR HIS INFORMATION BECAUSE HE WAS DISRESPECTFUL TO MY MOTHER & BECAUSE I LEGALLY OPEN CARRY Let me elaborate: Tonight I stopped into this location during a visit with my mom so she could redeem some points for some specific food items via her McDonald's app to which Dontel proceeded to try and take her points without redeeming them for said items. She promptly requested his information to which he refused and proceeded to disrespect her. She still managed to get her food and came back out to my vehicle where I was waiting. I decided to ask for his information to which he immediately became defensive, disrespectful and belligerent while refusing my request as well. The rest of the staff was also very UNHELPFUL except for 1 person. I was intercepted by her. Her name was Ashley (a supervisor) who gave me the information needed to file a formal report. She was exceptionally professional and deserves a commendation and promotion if anything NOT A REPRIMAND. My thanks goes to her for providing very good customer service despite my upset state of being. ALSO Whoever called the police on me blatantly lied as well and if it's found out WHO YOU ARE, legal action will be taken for attempted defamation of character. Thankfully, per my prior training via US Navy as security forces I was able to conduct myself in a non-threatening manner to diffuse what the police were told quickly. This was even after my unloaded weapon was temporarily seized because of how it was called in. It's good to know ones rights. I was promptly given my weapon back and free to go because of this and because it could have all been avoided had Dontel just been professional and respectful. This McDonald's needs re-staffed EXCEPT for Ashley, she was great. She should be the manager there. The store manager was not present for this.
Worst McDonald’s I’ve ever eaten at. Fries taste like they sit in OLD OIL all day and you’re lucky if you get what you actually order. 😂 also, wait times are ridiculous. You shouldn’t have to wait 15 minutes for a burger. Y’all take the FAST out of fast food. Skip this McDonald’s. Go 3 miles down the road into Salisbury. Better food and you won’t wait 15 minutes for a sandwich. 😊 I’d give negative 10 stars if I could.
Well the service wasn't bad the food definitely not on point! My family and took an evening nap and woke up kinda late in the night and were hungry so we went to Delmar McDonald's happy they were still open I ordered 40 bucks worth of food for three ppl! The fries were redipped and burnt, our burgers were very very dry 😐 the food didn't seem fresh at all! And at that late I'm sure it's supposed to be fresh especially the fries 🍟 😒 my family were very disappointed and very unsatisfied with their food!
Closes at 1:00a.m. just went in at 11:28p.m. ordered a specialty drink and the lady that didn't greet us told us the machines were already cleaned. Well what was amazing is that you stand next to the machine to wait for your food and the machine was dirty. The whole place was gross behind the counter. You couldn't even see the counter with all the spilled tea, tea machines, and boxes on them. Well we wanted food so we were there might as well order. The food was old and hard. The girl bagging our food had hair down to her butt not up like it should be around food. We went inside because the drive thru had a huge line in both lines and they closed one with having so many customers. We went to use the restroom and wash our hands before eating and that didn't look like it had been cleaned in a week. It was best just to hold it until we got to our destination. I would NOT give 1 star if I didn't have to.
Personally I’d give less. Ask to pull up in lane 1 out of 3 while the other three are even mad and their food is horrible. Mine was horrible. Freezing cold and no toppings on it except pickles. No offense but I’m a nurse AND paramedic. I highly doubt you’d like me to give the same service to your loved ones like you serve your food. So sad you make the money you do when you can’t even give a fresh burger or fries.
Ordered two 20 piece nuggets on the mobile app. Did not get the sauces that I ordered and I went inside to explain. I was greeted with a hand in the hip and a disgusted look. I explained that I had not received the sauces with my order and was told "we don't give those out for free". I was handed 2 sauces for 40 nuggets! I normally do not complain on this location as I have always received great service but this time, the manager was pretty rude. I have been in customer service for years, and I have always listened to the customer and not cut them off mid sentence. This was inexcusable. It's not about the sauce, it's about the attitude I received. I complained to corporate and have not even received an apology, leading me to believe we have a generation getting promoted with no empathy for anyone. UPDATE: AGAIN USED THE MOBILE APP WENT TO CHECK IN, APP FROZE UP SO I WENT IN THE RESTAURANT AND THE MANAGER ON DUTY SAID I NEEDED TO CHECK IN TO RECIEVE MY ORDER! THAT WAS THE PROBLEM THEN HE PROCEEDS TO IGNORE ME WHEN I ASKED FOR HELP! I WAS CHARGED FOR AN ORDER I COULD NOT PICKUP, TOLD I WOULD AUTOMATICALLY BE REFUNDED IN 1-2 BUSINESS DAYS BUT AFTER LOOKING AT THE APP IT SAID I NEEDED TO GO TO THE RESTAURANT TO GET REFUNDED! I WAS ALREADY THERE! TO MAKE IT EVEN WORSE, MY ORDER WAS TAPED UP TO BE FINISHED UPON CHECK-IN AND I WAS THERE TO CHECK IN! IM OVER THIS PLACE! 3 TIMES IVE HAD HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
My order is literally wrong every single time, go for breakfast I kid you not the last 3 times I’ve went no hash brown in the bag. I’m not the one to complain as I work at a fast food place myself but dang, something’s got to give if literally down to the drink isn’t right. It’s crazy. Yes mistakes happen but when they make a mistake why do they give attitude when you’re just asking for the correct food. Couldn’t be me being rude to someone that she shown nothing but respect. It’s sad people have to hire just anyone to keep the establishment going. Brain dead workers. Some of them are good but sheesh a lot of em need a reality check.
I ordered dinner for my family and was extremely dissatisfied. French fries seemed to be old in addition to the majority of them being at the bottom of the back(not in the container) but the worst part was the inappropriate conversation that the cashier was having with what seemed to be a off duty employee. The off duty employee had a few friends with him that felt the need to hang around the front counter while I was ordering. And made it seem as thou it was a burden for me having to interrupt to order. I was extremely uncomfortable and won't be returning
I went for lunch and got the buy one, get one for a dollar deal. I asked for two quarter pounders with big mac sauce. They gave me them with bacon. My wife stopped there 6 hours later and they didnt give her the 10 peice nugget she got, but gave her the honey mustard sauces. Just sad that a place takes zero pride in service.
I got heartburn and acid reflux after eating chicken nuggets, I noticed that they didn’t taste right, I thought it was me, then I started experiencing heartburn and acid reflux.

Well I just left there and got a double qp and suppose to be a chicken sandwich meal but it wasn't it was a regular dqp meal....my burgers were raw they were not cooked all the way made me throw up!!! Both sandwiches btw!!! I tried calling and they just hang up on you!! So guess I'll be coming there tomorrow and tell them about my experience! The fries were cold and hard as well!!! I go here often but not everyday and this is the second time something bad has happened! So thankyou for my dogs treats!!? Jeeze next time I'll take pictures!!! I also had a bunch of grease on my bun
We moved here in December and this is the closest McDonald's. I will be honest. I don't WANT to eat at McDonalds, but price and convenience sometimes dictates life. Plus my son is autistic and this is one of his safe food places. This is probably one of the worst McDonalds we've been too. They are always getting our food wrong, or parking us to bring it out, and forgetting bags. Tonight we ordered using the app. It showed the drive thru closed but the lobby open. When we went to pick up our food from inside they had supposedly closed due to technical difficulties. But their system was able to accept the order and withdraw the money. The person who answered the phone told me that the money would be in the bank within 24 hrs, but feel free if to call back in the morning if it doesn't post within that time. I do have respect for hospitality workers. I work retail, but only deal with customers on the phone. I know that people working in retail/restaurants of any type take a brutal beating from customers and we try really hard not to be 'those' people. It has taken me 8 months to post this review because I kept thinking it would get better.
I have heartburn acid reflux i cannot have anything spicy or it will put me in the hospital mild sauce at mcdonald's isn't spicy but very delicious i wouldn't recommend going here. They were very rude let's do it now. Put way too much cream in my coffee an as I tried to call back in, ask 4 just mild sauce. They hang up
This Delmar establishment would be better if it had better management . The manager Anna I believe to be her name treats her employees bad. I went in for breakfast and waited 10 minutes until I asked the poor woman who was delivering food outdoors if anyone was working the register as the manager did not Even echnoledge my presence. Then after the poor woman took my order someone else behind me had issues too. And told me the manager told that register woman. You shouldn't be taking orders you need to get these orders outside. I really would like something done about this Manager. Sooner or later someone else won't be to nice. My order was correct when 20 min later I received it. 🤬
This morning I approached the counter to place my order and I was told that breakfast was not available at 6:45 AM and that I would be better off going to Hardee’s down the street because they have fresh food. I said I would contact her manager and after I said that I was also called a stupid cracker on the way out the door as she followed me to my vehicle. Update 11/14/24: ALL the managers there are disorganized, lazy and rude. I waited far longer than I should have for my food and when I finally recieved it they weren’t apologetic or nice, not even slight nice. It’s not a hard job and they act hateful towards those who spend their money there.
I placed an online order, apparently in the 15 minutes it took me to get there the order "timed out" but I was not aware. I sat in the parking lot in a marked order pickup spot and no one came out to me. I finally went in and was told that they didn't make my food, but the money would go back on my account. Poor service all around.
Has anyone EVER actually gotten food at this drive through? This has got to be the only McDonald’s in the state that does not serve food at the drive through. Instead, they will stack 5 cars in the mobile order lanes while you wait for them to bring something as simple as a happy meal out to your car. It’s always “we’re waiting on fries” as they bring your cold fries to your car. I have visited here at least 5 times this year at different times of the day and still have never been served my food without having to pull up and wait. I’m assuming this is so they can beat their timer and look Efficient when in reality they aren’t.
Cashier was very rude and she didn’t put my order in completely, I told her she got the wrong order and she got an attitude, just for her to not even change the order. Like just put the fries in the bag bro. Get better employees McDonald’s!
First of all they better hold on to Brittney she is an awesome employee. Always cheerful and friendly. Also it's a darker skin black guy and another lighter skin black guy that works the second window both of them are really friendly. If the three of them wasn't there the building fall apart. This morning some smart mouth woman was rude taking my order through drive thru. As Also I wanted a caramel frappe and the machine was shut down again for cleaning. This is I know the sixth time in the last week ago they have decided to clean the frappe machine in the morning which is when people get coffee products more. Why not clean it at night before closing 🤔 so I took .my business elsewhere.if Brittney or the other two guys aren't working I will not being going here. The device sucks. And the last couple of times the frappe have a chalky taste nasty......the mgr here needs to step up his or her game when it comes to the customer service. It sucks!!!!!
where did you get your driveway through the window? No one ever responded went to the next window. No one responded. Went to the third window. No one responded. You can see people in not working. This is about the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to in my life and they need to close the doors.
Made an online breakfast order before the breakfast cut off time. Store cancelled my order as I was driving to the location. That is baloney. Will not go to this location again.
Crazy how long it takes to get food here, even with a mobile order you're garenteed a 10 min wait at least.
2 lukewarm, old coffees that tasted terrible. We had to honk horn to get them to open the window so we could get our coffee
their app says they’re open and close at 11, i placed a mobile order and paid, yet when i pull up their lights are off. their drive thru voice still goes off but nobody answers. i sit at the window and the old woman inside ignores me. so i call and the woman on the phone is nasty and rude and told me they closed at 10 and if i placed a mobile order they didn’t get one and it would get refunded. like first off, you don’t need to be rude, the app says 11, it allowed me to place the order. im guessing they just wanted to close early and go home.
I rarely go to McDonald and I need to keep it that way . The people that work here got to be the slowest folks I’ve ever met … I mean MENTALLY . I order 1 thing and u get it wrong . How simple is a sausage biscuit with cheese 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️…Then the manager Chantal slams the window in my face as if I’m in the wrong for saying the order is wrong . I don’t know if she thinks she doing something because she manages a “McDonald’s 🤦🏾♀️” but girl get yaself together and have some customer service qualities about yourself. NOTES TO KIDS : DO NOT MAKE McDonald’s A CAREER CHOICE . It’s for high schoolers in my opinion . DO BETTER.
This place doesn't even deserve one star because of the people working here. They only know how to be angry with people. If they had the courage, they would swear.

Everytime I get food from this location I end up getting sick. Two times in the last 2 months. NEVER fresh. Wouldn't even give 1 star but had to so I could leave a review.
I am absolutely disgusted tonight. I bought 2 happy meals for my littles, only to find both fries and nuggets full of ethnic hair, if it wasn't that it was someone's black pubes which is worse. I've never had this happen before but whomever packaged their happy meals left their hair on both meals like it was placed or they just got a hair cut and still had hair on their neck and it fell on. Still gross and I will not be back. Everyone looked at me like I was stupid or did it myself mind you I have stick straight red hair and both kids have light brown straight hair, no one else with us so how or why would I do this over $12.00? Something needs to be done, but I'm sure it won't be and I'm sure we weren't the only ones tonight with hair in our food!
Today I went with my family to buy 2 McFurry and an ice cream cone and they gave me what they wanted, they gave me only 1 McFlurry and a frappe that I didn't ask for and they still had me parked for 15 minutes to bring me the ice cream cone, and they didn't take it to me I had to go get it, it has bad customer service It was around 8:15 at night on the drive tru
I did an mobile order yesterday, but it was for the wrong location. It went to McDonald's in Delmar, Delaware, instead of Seaford, Delaware. Now the one in Delmar saying, they can't refund my money because it was digital.
overall, awful. whoever was working the drive thru at the second window around 7:45 tonight is extremely rude. was rude to me and a family member that came before i did. service was slow and somehow rushed and rude at the same time. i’d suggest a customer service workshop or something to control the rampant attitudes towards customers in this place.
This McDonalds at delmar de is by fare the worst ever. Everytime me or my friends go to this one we always have a problem. Rather food is wrong or someone is mad. The maneger is great but the shift maneger really does not like her job and you can tell!! I had to park to wait for food witch was not that long and there was missing food. Plus food that was not ours. Then when we told the nice lady who gave us our food, she went inside to tell them. Anna who we always have problems with. She is alway unhappy. Asked for a reciept witch is fine. So the nice lady had to keep walking back and forth. Well to make a long story longer my daughter had to go in and fix it. Only to have anna give an attitude with her. They did give he a free pie. WE DONT NEED FREE STUFF JUST OK SERVICE!!
Stay away from this McDonald's location. The staff is rude. My grandma picked up and order for me tonight (10/02/2024) and they did not get the order right. They gave her two wrong drinks, they messed up the happy meals and they are unorganized. You'd be better off going to the McDonald's location on North Salisbury Blvd near Target.
