The food was delicious and had good sized portions. The customer service and atmosphere were nice. I had the Pig Kahuna on gluten-free bread.

The same management and staff from the the old Greenback location but in a shiny new package. It's location and the design and floor plan is equally beautiful. There is a patio with large umbrellas and a 2 dining room one of which is a fully sheltered with a roll-up wall to open it to the outside. The food is great with their classic gigantic portions. Outstanding! *They have new stools outside that are much more stable that the ones in my pictures.

You can't throw a hard salami in this town without hitting a sandwich shop. Lots of new ones popping up. Some pretty good ones. BUT... Beach Hut is by far the best, hands down. Yes, a little pricey. But the sandwiches are HUGE. So packed with meat and veggies you cannot close them when you eat. Lots of choices too. That alone is the reason I keep coming back. Add to that the relaxing beach/reggae/summer themed decor and music. All it needs is sand on the floor.

It'll cost you a couple extra bucks than those other places, but with such fantastic ingredients (mmmm, cream cheese...) and generous helpings of said ingredients, it is well worth every penny! Did I mention awesome freakin' nachos? Now I did! Everything I've gotten has been delicious. I placed an order over the phone and picked it up, a process made easy by the friendly and efficient staff!

Excellent food. Took forever but tasted delicious. Customers were not practicing social distancing properly at all. Expensive but it's the best sandwich place around. Will be back but probably a different one due to slow service and the other reasons. Rocklin is the best!

Accomodating and friendly service. Sexy sandwiches! A little heavy on the spreads but still tasty! They put the deli in delicious! The next time I'm in the area, I'll definitely stop by again. Thank you for the fabulous lunch, ladies and gent.

I've gone to this location in person, ordered from doordash, and ordered online for pick up. Sometimes the food is a hit sometimes a miss. The Marley nachos are delicious! My favorite is the Cali and my husband the bird. I have gotten stale chips once though 🙃 Otherwise yummy sandwich spot.

I ordered a 12-in meatball sandwich and the sandwich was excellent tasted good was made good. Although, I thought the price was a little steep when I realized I paid $32 and some change for the sandwich and a bag of chips and a soda. I asked the cashier and they proceeded to tell me that that's the normal price even though online it says on the menu that the sandwich is 1595. My math might not be the best in the world, but that doesn't add up correctly to me.

I've always liked the quality of their sandwiches. But I also thought that they were a little over priced. But because of their surfer roots they had sprouts on the menu so I was willing to pay the extra cost. (I love sprouts on my sandwich.) No more sprouts. So I tried their hot dog. I've had some gourmet dogs from specialty food carts. Maybe Beach Hut could get some tips from them. Too much bread for the width of the dog. And the dog kind of was lost with their mayonnaissey sauce with onions.

Someone else brought the sandwiches, but for some reason my sandwich was like 40% mayonnaise. I ordered the skinny dipper, and the flavor (the flavor OTHER than the mayonnaise) was quite good, but it was so heavy and... Soggy- that I barely enjoyed the sandwich. "Can I get a sandwich with that mayo?"

I love this deli, always have. The service is always great and the place has a fun feel to it. Tonight however was not so good. I ordered 2 Spicoli sandwiches and there was half the meat that's usually on it. I get that, changes need to be made to keep the business open and employees need to be paid. The worst thing was when I realized they didn't put the bacon on the sandwiches!!! REALLY? They forgot the bacon! That's almost sacrilegious! I'm sure I'll go back because I do love the sandwiches, but bring back the meaty goodness! AND DON'T FORGET MY BACON!!!

Sandwiches taste as good as other locations, which is great, but bring a book and show up later than your quoted time. Smiles and friendly greetings all around but know you will be waiting. Plenty of staffing but the process there is broken. For the premium price paid I expect for the sandwiches to be done when they told me it'd be ready. This is a continual problem and no online ordering doesn't help.

My sandwich is usually worth 5 stars. It is usually loaded with so much meat and cheese that you can't even get your mouth around it. Unfortunately, it was only worth 2 stars this time. It was so light on the meat and cheese this time. The bacon is typically the bomb - not this time. I thought they forgot my pickles because I couldn't even taste them. This is the only time it has been this bad. I will give them another chance to redeam themselves. We can all have off days!

It was my first time in. Too many TV's for my style. Unfortunately, I had a terribly upset stomach from the salad I ordered.

Dryest sandwich I think I've ever had my husband was fine his had in my opinion all of my condiments on it and was the size of a small child mine however was dry and while my sandwich was half the size of his it had maybe a quarter of the meat won't be eating here again and unless ur male (bcuz I saw another customers food that came out and it was well worth the price) I wouldn't suggest this place

There was just 2 workers at first who gave terrible service . one woman with tattoos was more concerned with hanging out with her friend and drinking white claws out of her beach hut “soda” cup than doing her job. She was not nice or genuine at all. The tall guy had the personality of a door knob and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. Girl with glasses later showed up to finally make my sandwich, she seemed nice but SO shy. Slowest and worst service I have ever got at a beach hut, they didn’t even apologize for my wait. Not only that my sandwich was made terribly. All sauce and barely any meat

Turned away at 7:40pm because they are "done serving food for the night". They are open until 8pm. Not to mention the chick in braids working there was entertaining a big crowd at the bar area. She was gesturing at as us and laughing as we walked in. She couldn't have been more condescending. Why have the open sign on if you aren't going to serve people? The place reeked like bleach too. Never going back even though there food is good when they feel like working and serving you. I guess they don't need customers.

I went there for lunch today and I asked for my sandwich to be completely cold yet the girl put the bun in the oven. When she gave me the " Hot " bag I said this is hot , she replied just the bun . I paid 16.00 And change for a cold sandwich. She then grabbed the bag made me a new one but her attitude was very rude . As she looked at me she threw the sandwich really hard into the garbage . I will never go back . Horrible customer service !

Ordered online. Got there later than the 'ready' time. Was told 10 minutes. Actually ready in 30. So 40 minutes past the ready time. If this was an isolated incident, no big deal. But every time I've been there whether ordering ahead or not, same. The nonchalant attitude is maddening. We only go here every once in a while because we do like their sandwiches and try to give the benefit of the doubt but chances are you won't leave happy if you go with them. Poor, unapologetic service. Leaves you always wondering why you're there lol!

The customer service at this place is terrible. My orders have been wrong twice now and take forever to be re-made. The final time I walked into this specific Beach Hut to pick up my order, gave it two previous chances, the two women behind the counter weren't even wearing their masks properly and gave me attitude when I asked them to consider my family's safety by wearing their masks properly. That was the final straw for me. Worst BH location ever.

SLOOOOOW... Ordered online and says ready in 30 minutes, 50 minutes later, still have to wait for my sandwich. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ Also, the staff isn't welcoming you'd think you get a better service paying $20 for a sandwich. I don't write reviews much but this place deserves one.

I first tried calling ahead with my order but only got a recording. I came in, ordered, tipped, and sat outside and waited for my sandwich. I now regret the tip. People were getting their sandwiches before me but they came in and ordered after me. The person I was behind got their sandwich and they finished eating it before I finally got mine. I went in and asked if my order was ready, everyone looked at me but not one person responded. I went back outside and waited, watched more people get their food so back in I go. I finally got my sandwich and a have a nice day. No sorry, no explanation, nothing. Very disappointed.

I look forward to Beach Hut every Christmas Eve when I fly to CA to visit family. I ordered take-out and discovered they forgot the meat!! And it was on the wrong bread. I couldn’t go back and they were closed the next day so I just had to eat a very sad $17 vegetable sandwich.
