We have spent three nights here we go home tomorrow, the food is fantastic, the staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for the, the room was always checked and replenished with the everything we need. The steak night was sooooo good if two people order steak you get a bottle of wine free 😋 The view from the beer garden is so nice you can see the isle of Wight and the needle too

Had a celebration meal with family on Christmas Eve. We booked last minute so were out in the tented area which was very pretty and warm enough with the heaters. It was busy and had a nice atmosphere with friendly staff. Loved the menu and every dish was beautifully presented. You could pay a lot more for similar in other places. Service was slower paced but we never felt ignored, we like to chat and take our time so it suited us. Felt relaxed but still somewhere you could dress up for an occasion. We enjoyed ourselves so much we were the last to leave!

We had a really lovely stay. We had an outstanding meal and a very comfortable room. The staff were amazing.

We went for dinner and stayed in the Purbeck room. Can't fault service, cleanliness and value for money. Dinner was lovely, great cocktails and a nice choice of wines. Staff were friendly and accommodating. There was a good selection of dishes for breakfast. The full English was well cooked and tasty. Well worth stopping by.

Had a wonderful dinner at Pebble beach Restaurant! The view was gorgeous over looking the sea, and the vibe was super chill. Big thanks to Megan for the amazing service—she was so friendly and on point the whole time. Definitely coming back!

I have now stayed at Pebble Beach 3 times with work and can honestly say it’s like being abroad. The view is spectacular and reminds me of the beaches in Fuerteventura. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The bathroom is a bit old fashioned but has everything you need and the toiletries are lovely. Sam the manager in the restaurant is so welcoming and friendly. Made me feel at home. The service in the restaurant is fantastic. The seabass I ordered this time came out within 5 minutes and tastes delicious and fresh. I also had a cocktail which was divine. The breakfast is amazing out on the terrace over looking the sea. I had eggs Benedict and an iced latte which were perfect. Nothing beats a breakfast with a view! Highly recommend

I stayed here as a solo traveller, from the moment I parked my car in car park my stay was faultless. The Sun was shining and there was an outside lounge called sunset bar over looking the sea with a DJ playing mellow music. I checked in, the staff were helpful and friendly. I was shown to my room of which I was really pleased with. The quality of everything (furniture, fixtures, fittings, linen, towels) was of a very high standard. Also, the room was spotless. I went for a walk along the beach to watch the sunset and then I ate from the sunset bar menu in the restaurant. My food was excellent, the quality of the ingredients was very good. Again the staff were very professional and friendly. A special mention to Jake who took the time to chat to me, which I really appreciated. I should also mention that the location of Pebble Beach was just perfect, it really was the most delightful and perfect find. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay - thank you very much 😊

This is not a cheap place to visit. However, the food is really really good (unsure how often the change their main menu but there is a daily 2 course special available). Supberb wine list, cocktail menu could be extended a bit, lagers and topshelve. Either pop in and sit in the bar enjoying a drink or book a table, dress-up and enjoy a romantic meal with a loved one. (One of those places where can dress-up and everyone will look as to how stunning you are.) Events held in an evening including Burns Night. Accessible loo available and main restaurant is wheelchair accessible. Steps to the bar, terrace and far end of restaurant. Parking can be a bit tight but free roadside parking available. Great atmosphere (sadly no photos - sorry)

Fantastic location in any weather, particularly good on sunny days for enjoying the sea views. I’ve been going to Pebble Beach for over a decade now, and the food has never disappointed. Thanks to Sam and George for making my family’s visit feel very special yesterday.

Popped in on a Sunday afternoon for coffee and dessert in the terrace. Coffee was excellent, however the dessert wasn’t available. Lovely comfortable sofas on the terrace with beautiful sea views. The ladies needed a bit of attention as the hand towel bin was overflowing.

Such a beautiful spot, can’t wait to come back and try it out at night. Service was great, friendly and welcoming staff. Stunning views, lovely atmosphere. One of my new favourite places 😍

Had a lovely meal to celebrate my mum’s birthday. Great setting overlooking the beach. Interior and exterior decor was really modern and interesting. Lots of things on the menu that we all wanted and everything was delicious. Kids meals were good too. Prompt and friendly service.

Called in for a late lunch. We enjoyed a large pizza between us and a very tasty desert, plus drinks. It's a little bit pricey compared to other places. The restaurants location with the wonderful views, a quality up market restaurant with a great chef anf kitchen, kind efficient staff, make this a wonderful place to go for a special occasion or just because...

We absolutely loved our long weekend stay at Pebble Beach. The staff were amazing, the Penthouse was gorgeous and food and wine delicious. It had such a lovely welcoming feel. Our view of The Needles was fab, and we enjoyed a really relaxing break, just what we needed! We’ll definitely be back!

Recently attended a 'tribute' evening here. The atmosphere is amazing. Everyone had a really great time. Staff were busy but there were plenty of staff on shift and very friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and came out hot and looked very appetising. We shared a cheeseboard for pudding and enjoyed some spirits. We were offered coffee and drinks orders were taken regularly. Had such a great evening we rebooked for the next 'event' evening. We come regularly and eat off both menu choices and always have had great service and delicious food. The staff are all friendly and polite and work hard to make sure you have everything you need. Really enjoyed a stay in the penthouse - lovely room and comfy bed and nice touches to make you feel at home. The team was lovely and I lost my childhood bear and they went above and beyond to find him and post him home. Incredibly lovely people in a beautiful part of the world, really recommend! Thank you!

We stayed at The Pebble Beach Hotel 15 years ago for My 40th birthday. My husband booked late this year for our 39th wedding anniversary. They only had one room left, The Penthouse. Oh my gosh it was stunning, a beautiful kitchen, dining table, large living area with matching modern wood furniture throughout. Double doors leading to the biggest bedroom, lush clean & freshly pressed sheets bedding & cushions. The bathroom with its oval free standing bath & floor lights were polished as was the sink, toilet & large shower. The living room & bedroom both had double doors leading to the balcony that was as long as the two room. The view looked out onto the sea & The Isle of White needles. The restaurant & bar area were a delight. The food was exceptional, the staff were polite & attentive. A fabulous experience.

Took my partner here for her birthday meal and it was a lovely evening. Great food, friendly staff and they even gave her a complimentary birthday desert which was a lovely gesture. We live 5 minutes down the road and this was my first time. Such a shame I didn't try sooner. Will definitely be back.

Elegant clean room, firm mattress, Egyptian cotton linens - had the best night's sleep! Great breakfast and a great team of staff. Add to that the beautiful views. Loved it! Small hotel yet perfectly formed. Large restaurant. They've totally understood their assignment.

Brilliant experience for lunch. Food is not cheap but the quality and expertise in the kitchen is clear to see and more that justifies the cost. Beautiful location and very attentive service. Will definitely return.

I have updated my review on service to a five star. Had a lovely lunch as always. Really yummy food. Although waiting staff were very busy, they provided an efficient, speedy and attentive service. All staff are really nice and friendly. Lovely setting awaits for anyone new visiting Pebble Beach.

Great coast location, large restaurant with plenty of tables. Food was really good and the nights entertainment (11 Dec 2025) was excellent (Liam White Music. My nephew 😁)

5 star food, 5 star location, 2-3 star restaurant service. Fantastic venue, food was excellent and a great choice of wine. Service was friendly but fairly incompetent. I think we had 3 waiters/waitress in total. The first one couldn't explain what the lamb dish was (I think she was very junior, and shouldn't have been left alone). A very friendly second waitress helped us with our choice. The wine waiter made quite a hash of opening a very nice (and expensive) bottle of wine - see photo. We had to ask for water, and again when it needed topping up. At the end we were left waiting for quite some time with no staff in sight anywhere. Anyway the food was excellent - I had a very tasty lobster ravioli followed by a lamb dish with pastry. All very well presented and great tasting. Desserts were lovely too although one was spoiled by having clingfilm in it, though they dropped the charge from that. Would definitely go back, the venue is beautiful, wonderfully decorated and a great view out to sea. Hope the staff are carefully nurtured to become fully competent, it would definitely take the place to 5 stars.

Wow, what a view! The sea, the Needles, not a cloud in the sky! Feels like the paragliders get close enough to grab a drink from the wonderful terrace on top of the cliff - just unbelievably beautiful. Attentive and responsive staff made the lunchtime event superb.

Fo seeod lovely but very small portions and not a lot of choice for light bites at lunchtime. Service really good. Still worth a visit though, especially in the summer months with stunning views right across to the Ne weedles on the Isle of Wight.

Our walking group went to PB for coffee today. Sadly they were really heavily booked for breakfast service. Some of our coffees were not correct or on the cool side. However the staff were really good and the supervisor was marvellous. .She explained about the breakfasts were booked solid and that they had problems with sickness within the staff. I was very impressed how she dealt with us. Obviously we will go back again. Even when things go wrong, they got it right. See you next week

Very friendly staff and lovely views. Food was great. Had the prawn pasta dish and it was fabulous. Seemed like a great place to have a family function.

We were a 3-generation pre-booked party of 8 for dinner, and we all agreed that the food was really excellent. Unfortunately the service was so slow that we just gave up on the idea of desserts and stopped off at the cafe next door for something sweet!!

Overall a good experience. Positives were the food was nice and the restaurant is lovely with great views over the cliff. Sadly the kitchen was so slow it made it a less enjoyable meal. To be fair it was busy and the waiting staff brought the food out immediately but it just took too long to get food. 40 mins for ice cream is too long.

Stunning views! We enjoyed a lovely breakfast with perfectly cooked poached eggs. The only disappointment was the avocado, which wasn’t fresh—a bit of a letdown. Otherwise, the experience was reasonably good.

Lovely location and great service. But food was over priced for what it was over £10 for a 3 small pancakes and a couple of bits of bacon. I had expected more, not comparable to the full breakfast for £2 more

Been here loads of times as live locally but by far this was the worst! Waited 30 minutes before getting served and then I had to go and find someone. Waitress had an attitude (no names)and didn't bring our drinks for a further 10 minutes. Not sure if they were under staffed but no excuse. This was on a Thursday afternoon in the autumn so not exactly rushed of their feet! Very disappointed on this occasion.

Exceedingly disappointed in this restaurant nowadays. The quality of food has slipped dramatically (I have been coming here since it first opened 20 or so years ago). Extremely expensive for such amateurish cooking, so presumably relying exclusively on their location & views, which is a shame since their customers are there to hopefully enjoy the food commensurate with the high prices they are charging. Very Very disappointed 😞

Really disappointing. Waited 30 mins before anyone took our order, then another 45 mins for food because they said they were “making the gluten-free bread from scratch.” What arrived was laughable — 6 fridge-cold slices of sourdough and 2 pieces of burnt toast passed off as a £5 gluten-free “bread board.” Mains were bland and poorly cooked (chicken Alfredo was chewy like a sponge, under-seasoned, no spoon or condiments provided). One main was forgotten entirely until we chased. In the end they only removed the GF bread and service charge. Still felt overpriced, poor quality, and a total waste of time. Left hungry and dissatisfied.

Been here for few days, decided last night have a nice meal. Mum went and asked young fella if we could take our fur baby in with us, yes we sell dog treats too. Mum came out to car to give the thumbs up. Entered restaurant which was only 1/4 full if that. An older gent came to greated us, asked if we'd booked a table, nope, we've music tonight and will need the table. So off we trotted, won't be getting a penny from me on our future visits to see family

Really nice location but the service is unfortunately not that good. They lied with the bill. We ordered 2 small orange juices and we had to pay for 2 big ones even when we questioned it. They didn’t show us the bill and he lied. We asked are they 2 small, he said yes, but we had to pay for 2 big. Maybe I would not visit again. I hate this vibe.

NOT 5 Star have stayed in better B and Bs Booked via Booking.com who won't allow me to leave review on the site like I usually can 🤔 Room dirty a shower only a toddler could stand in crack in sink air con unit with pipe out of window. Site states there is a restaurant BUT not that it's closed Monday and Tuesdays!!! No reception or check in arrangement. Called number on wall to complain told us to take up issues with Booking.com. Booking.com said contact hotel. All just passing the buck Have advised local friends who had a group of 10 friends interested in hotel but now put off naturally AVOID SHAME ON YOU BOOKING.COM and Pebble Beach

Lunch today was a joke badly cooked and ridiculous portions my fish was smaller than the size of the chips . My partners meal was overcooked because someone got the order wrong . 3 years ago I vowed I would never never go back and was persuaded . We are local and remember when pebble beach was such a good restaurant !!!

Just popped in for a drink and a snack, the setting is first class but the only menu we were offered was a rather pricey menu when we had asked for just a snack. We ordered a cheese board and olives and drinks, firstly the waitress did not understand what drinks I ordered and had to get someone else to take order. Drinks arrived and then the cheese board, no knives, napkins were offered so we had to ask for some and we had to ask for our olives. They arrived when we had almost eaten the cheese. Just very disappointed with the service but if they can get away with this at their prices then good luck to them. Management get your finger on the job and train your staff better.

This used to be my favourite bar and restaurant. I don’t know what’s happened but it’s terrible now. The customer service is absolutely awful, the waitress is extremely forgetful and inattentive and frankly awkward. The manager just doesn’t seem to care about anything other than money. The food on Mother’s Day was awful (cold soggy pancakes) and it ruined what was meant to be a special meal for my mum. Easter weekend was a joke, they raised the price of their roast dinners but didn’t offer anything more than normal. They no longer have 2 for 1 cocktails at happy hour and don’t seem to want you to come just for drinks. You really get the feeling that they don’t want you there and you are an inconvenience. There are better places to eat locally and I’ll be going elsewhere from now on.

Arrived at 7pm - had tiny starter (3 greasy prawns and some olives that arrived 5 minutes later after I had to ask for them) then mains arrived at 8.20pm - cauliflower and chips one of only two vegan options - burned, not even seasoned, no sauce. Had to get up to get service to get some ketchup to make it edible. When asked if it was ok I let them know - waitress said she’d get a dish removed from the bill - in the end they gave a 20% discount and removed service ‘fee’ - which is totally unfair to the waiting staff. Bad food. Very slow service. Bad management. Awful experience. Will not repeat. Plenty of other cliff top places along that stretch with much nicer food and competitive prices.
