Opinions de Peet's Coffee Burlingame
The Thursday morning crew here was patient, dedicated, capable, and understanding. More than that they supported each other with inspiring teamwork.
The coffee, Major D. is excellent, with character and as coffee is meant to be. The staff are happy to be there and serve, at least today. The decorations are least pleasing!
Typical Peet's just like every other store. Well maintained z good service and clean environment to sit and enjoy a strong espresso
Stopped in last Sunday, best Peet's Coffee Ive visited in a long time. Sophia was super helpful and made great recommendations!!!
Clean shop, friendly staff excellent coffee. If you're in the area stop by and chill out with a hot beverage. Stay happy friends!
This place could be very addictive. Really rich, flavorful drip coffee prepared fastidiously. Give yourself some time to watch other people's orders before making your choice and don't be afraid to ask questions.
I've always been a fan of Peet's Coffee. This shop in Burlingame is in a great location if you're browsing the downtown area, with a friendly staff and nice seating indoors and out. Perfect place to chill out and let the world flow by for a while.
I used the Peet’s app for the first time at this location. Everything about Peet’s has been spot-on so far. Our drinks were great and service was excellent. I think Starbucks lost a costumer.
Clean place Reasonable price Tasty Drink I ordered White chocolate mocha and it was good.☕☕☕
Of course Peet’s is the best ! I love the San Carlos Peet’s ! Great quality every time!
I love Peet’s in Burlingame location. Louis, David and others are doing a great job. Thank you!

Cool place on a trendy avenue. Lost a star due to lack of personality for the barista's at this place....I mean, show you're happy to be there.
I pretty much love all peets. Though this is almost always too crowded during weekend afternoons. From noon to 4pm you're not likely to find a seat. Peet's need to do something about folks who are not even customers but just takes a seat so that they can use wifi. Some are shameless. They just grab a cup and pour themselves some milk and sit there for hours.
Wonderful staff who always take care of you. Highly recommend. If only Peets wouldn't punish those of us lactose intolerant people by charging for non-dairy alternatives.
Nice affordable coffee, helpful friendly staff. Not a bad place to hang out for a bit in between things. I'll come back here next time I'm in the area.
Great for a Peet's Coffee location. Accurate and tasty coffee order. Nice and happy employees. It was a good experience in downtown Burlingame.
This is a great place to hang out while your vehicle is being serviced. The staff are super and the coffe & pastry is excellent.
I like here, here is crowded but when you find a table you can work at your computer. There are two restroom. But some days they can change it out of order.
Nice coffee. $4.40 for a medium latte. Free wifi. Not many seats.
chicken was good, we did not like prawns and fish.
A great place to relax on a hot day. 😊😇😊
Got my order as I asked for it whereas most places it seems to be an issue...for the record that's a quad shot americano with cool water or ice instead of hot water...not difficult. Oh and the blueberry and peach scone was better than most I've had: moist and flavorful rather than the typical yeasty brick to which I am accustomed. Yeah, the scone was moist...MOIST....yum
Good amount of seating, espresso is better than Starbucks but the shop could be cleaner. Staff is friendly and they're doing a great job plowing through the line of people that doesn't seem to end.

Love Pete's coffee, big bang is a medium roast that is perfect,i don' t use creams or sugars, so i get the full taste of coffee's,nice quick service and your on your way to work
You know what you're getting. Peet's coffee is a bit too dark for my liking, but they have a decent almond milk latte and the tea selection is better than Starbucks.
Great and friendly customer service, good selections (even for non-coffee drinkers), accessible entrance but the two issues I'd have to say is horrible location due to no possible parking spots since it is located on high traffic intersections and limited seating inside the shop (made for "to-go") if you plan on occupying the shop for more than 30min.
Curiously bland chain coffee shop. Staff were nice but the interior, the produce and coffee were so standard its hard to remember what business you're actually in. Could be in an airport.
Warm and friendly atmosphere still. Espresso drinks quality have deteriorated. In the last two visits, latte or similar drinks were very dilute in coffee and the flavor not integrated with the milk. Really hope they can fix it - pressure, temperature, staffing shortage, etc. - and bring back the quality which makes it worthwhile to visit

Burlingame Peet's is going downhill... It's been my coffee spot for more than 25year but now it's becoming garbage... Unprofessional new management and staff bringing this place downhill... Their coffee starting to taste like Starbucks (colored water) shame... Even their bar drinks taste differently Everytime + they keep changing their hours and that's unacceptable... What's really going on here...
I'm only giving them 2 stars because they don't have baby changing tables in their restrooms. It's almost 2018, c'mon people, get with the times!
First trip to Peets since COVID-19. Whoa. Empty store (take out only). Ordered via mobile app, never saw a cream & sugar option. So after pick up i returned to the counter for a paper cup with 1/4 the sugar i wanted and another with cream. Paid for a large dark roast coffee, was served dishwater in a medium cup. Chocolate croissant was unheated. Breakfast burrito was pretty good. $15 out the door for a forgettable experience. The worst part was the coffee. it was like the diner kind where you need 5 refills to feel a heartbeat. is it just me?
Downloaded the Peet's app to get a free drink. Ordered a Chai Latte. No good. No flavor. Too watery. Disappointed. Maybe the particular batista who made my drink doesn't really know what she's doing? I prefer the same drink at the other place. 😀
Nice people and everything, but my first time with a rich dark coffee did not go well at all. For those that like dark roast I am sure its great for me no.
Some staff are very rude and unprofessional
Ordered a Vanilla Latte. After she just swiped my credit card and did not even start making the coffee, I asked that I would like to have my coffee for here. "Isabel", the barista says "Well I would have liked you to tell me that up front"...I go wtf....Don't I know how to order my coffee or what? It really bothered me. So once she was done making the coffee, I asked her what was her reason to tell me what she told me, and she goes "Well there is a button that she needs to press to track who has their coffee for here and who has it for go?" And I go, how am I as a customer supposed to know that the barista needs to press a button and frankly speaking why do I care. If it's so important why don't you ask up front and press all the buttons you want. I tell Isabel, in front of the store manager that as a customer I really don't care whether I tell you just before or after paying that I want my coffee for here or to go. I tell the Manager separately that it's not the reason why she said what she said, it's the way she said it did not come out right. He nodded and did not apologize or anything. As I drank my coffee, I couldn't believe I just paid $4.XX for a cup of Vanilla Latte that actually was loaded with so much sugar that I almost felt that type 2 diabetes is not too far away......Moral of the story, for me was NOT to come back to Peet's Coffee of Burlingame and make sure that if you order your coffee here, you must tell BEFORE ordering your coffee whether you want it for here or to go....
Twice in the past week visiting this place and order was made wrong and twice staff said sorry we do it right next time ... Left my drink on counter and left never to return. This location use to be fantastic. Sucks now!
Coffee was not fresh
I had loved peets till the taste of their coffee turned into a soury/ not fresh taste… beside, it is not physically a clean coffee shop any more
Love the coffee, but hate the stupid, "no cash," policy. My small coffee was about $2.25, and I normally leave a cash tip of the remaining $0.75 + another $1.00, for a total of $4.00, with no change back to me. But the stupid "no cash," policy forces me to charge $2.25 to a credit card - ridiculous.
Most awkward Peet's I have ever been to. I came here to cash out a few gift cards (per California state law), and I was given a very hard time for what I felt like was a straightforward and routine request. After many callbacks from managers and everything, my issue is still not resolved. Will not be coming back to this location.
6:58 was denied to use restroom despite full room of people still in business. Worst service nominee.
Toilet is as dirty as a subway toilet.
Bad service. Barista was going to give me the stale danish....sitting there in the open...chorro and germs for sure.....she was not happy I asked for a fresh one. Go to Peets Santa Clara....
My first time at this location. I usually go to the South City one which gives GREAT service and treats all customers well (new and regulars), so I was expecting the same thing here. Even the Peet's at SFO airport is fabulous. This Burlingame one was quite busy at 8:30am, so there was no "welcome." There was a long line so after 8 mins, it was my turn in front of the register, the lady came twice and told me "I'll be right with you". It's OK, at least she acknowledged my presence. Waited for another 7 mins. When I was done ordering, I sat and waited for 10 mins for my order. No one called my name or my order. So, I went to look for it in their area. All items had no names, and I didn't want to touch and open the bags, so I asked the second lady, who coldly said "This is the chorizo." It matched the coldness of the food because it's been sitting there forever. I stood in line again at the register because I couldn't find my Green Tea. The first lady said "someone else must have taken it." The third lady butted in and said "it's right here." So I asked why there were no names. "We don't put names" and gave me the stinky eye. OK, so why did no one yelled my order across the room so I knew it was done 10 mins ago? Suffice it to say, the tea was also cold. Totally disappointed since I now live in Burlingame. If you like their food, fine. But if you're looking for good service at least, go somewhere else. UPDATE: My original review was last Wed morning. Today, Sat 7:30am, I came by and the experience was night and day. It was totally different crew (3 ladies and 1 guy). They were amazing: welcoming (how are you today?), courteous, fast, and "have a great day!" They constantly communicated amongst themselves to make sure they made the orders correctly ("Medium, right?" "Whole milk?" "I brewed it already." etc.). Then, they called out the orders loudly until the customer responds. This is their professional A-crew and what Peet's customer service is all about. On my way out, someone said "Thanks and come again." I sure will. Now I know what time/day to come :)
The green tea made me puke. Also, they never called my name when the drink was ready, so I sat there for 15 min. Asked the barista about my drink, said it will be ready soon. Asked again 10 minutes later. Turned out it was on the counter the entire time. There was no line/not busy. Didn't expect such poor service and poor communication between workers.
bathroom smelled like homeless. I told about this to the worker, his/her response facial/body language was "whatever", while saying "we'll take care of it later". He/she did not do anything for the next 2hrs until closing of the store that night. Also, little trash everywhere in the store, on the floor, edge of the windows, etc.
Awful check in experience. Line organization is very inconvenient. No one seems interested to keep serving people in the right order. They just staring at you like they don't know what they are doing there. It is easy -you serve your customers
